Rihanna Reportedly Broke Up With Her Billionaire Boyfriend Because She 'Gets Tired of Men Sometimes'


Rihanna has reportedly broken up with her billionaire Saudi boyfriend, who she’s been dating for more than a year. And honestly, the reason for the split is beyond relatable.

According to the gossip site MediaTakeOut News, the singer has recently called things off with S.O. Hassan Jameel.

If you haven’t heard his name before, there’s a legit reason why: Rihanna and Jameel have kept their relationship highly private. She barely posted anything about her relationship with the billionaire on her social media and rarely spoke about him during interviews.

However, fans were convinced that the two were engaged last December, when she shared a pic on Instagram of her wearing a massive ring on a certain finger. But we didn’t really hear much on the matter after that—and of course RiRi’s worn rocks like that before (she did have a song called “Diamonds”).

So what (allegedly) happened? A source close to the singer told MediaTakeOut News what apparently led to the breakup: “Rihanna and him were together for a while. It was a good relationship, but now it’s over.”

According to this source, the singer had simply come to terms with the fact that she and Jameel no longer clicked—and then dropped the bomb that has us all feeling seen.

“Rihanna just got tired of him,” the source told the outlet. “She gets tired of men sometimes.”

Rihanna Wore a Denim Skirt as a Top, and Honestly It’s Kind of Genius


When I go to the dentist, I tend to sleep in to the last minute (nerves) and then hurriedly throw on something that gives a nice impression to the dentist that yes, I do floss regularly. But I am not Rihanna, who, being Rihanna, who wore a glorious pink coat, white camisole, jeans, and a denim skirt to what sources say is the dentist. It was a lewk, and with a seriously unconventional twist: Rihanna wore the denim skirt as a top over the camisole—and it’s actually pretty brilliant.

As you can see, the denim skirt appears to be unbuttoned almost all the way down and shrugged on over a white, silky, lace-trimmed cami—a piece from her inclusive upcoming Savage x Fenty lingerie line, naturally—as kind of a makeshift bustier. It’s kind of like when she wore that ’90s Prada bra as a top, but with a more ’00s feel.

She coyly referenced the look on her Insta, too, posting a pap photo with the caption, “when yo skirt too short.” All hail the queen.

Rihanna Announces Savage x Fenty Lingerie Line


Hang on to your tax return check, and make some room in your top drawer: The next category in Rihanna‘s ever-growing Fenty empire is… lingerie.

The rumor mill started churning earlier this week, when Rihanna began posting mysterious images and videos on her Instagram, referencing the line in her song, “Needed Me,” that goes: “Didn’t I tell you that I was a savage?” Fans began speculating about the meaning of it all, with the prevailing theory being that she would launch a lingerie line. A Savage x Fenty Instagram account went live, as did a website with the same name.

In a short clip she uploaded on Friday, she confirmed the news: “We bout to light this up sis!!? … introducing @SAVAGEXFENTY lingerie coming soon,” Rihanna captioned a video, which showed the words “SAVAGE,” “X,” and “FENTY” flashing between close-up shots of women in red and pink lingerie.

As of now, the Savage x Fenty website only hosts a form to sign up for the brand’s mailing list. However, this feature reveals that Rihanna’s upcoming lingerie line will take on the same inclusive approach to undergarments as Fenty Beauty did to makeup: After entering your email and country, potential customers are prompted to choose their bra and underwear sizes from a drop-down menu, which include bra sizes from 32A to 44DD and underwear ranging from XS to XXXL. So, you can expect the initial offering of Savage x Fenty to be much more accessible than many mainstream lingerie collections.

Though she has yet to share any more sneak previews of the line, there’s no doubt that each piece will be ultra-sexy and will pair perfectly with a healthy dose of shimmery Fenty Beauty Body Lava body glitter.

Adele Wrote the Nicest Essay About Her ‘Goofball’ Friend Rihanna


Rihanna and Adele are two music queens in their own rights—and their love for each other is palpable. In 2012, RiRi said Adele didn’t “know the depth of [her] affection” toward her and that she became “so attached” to her album, 21. Adele’s said similar things about Rihanna—but none are more wonderful than the tribute she just wrote for the “Diamonds” singer in light of Time magazine dubbing Rih one of its 100 most influential people.

“I actually can’t remember the first time I met Rihanna; I was probably numb from the shock of it,” the “Hello” singer wrote in her blurb. “Whenever I’ve met her, she’s been the most gracious, loyal, and funny goofball of an icon. She glows like when someone’s taken a picture with a flash and you’re dazed for a few minutes after. But it’s also very clear in that glow that she genuinely doesn’t give a f-ck; she’s fearless and full of all the right kind of attitude to be everything that she is and will be forever.”

Adele went on to describe Rihanna’s song “Pon de Replay” as an “absolute banger” (accurate) and praised the Fenty maestro for blazing her own trail in the industry. “She has designed and conquered an entire lane of her own. The innovative and groundbreaking world of Rihanna that no one else will ever be safe in and get away with copying,” Adele wrote. “She makes her own rules and bends ours.”

Pink's Daughter Got to Meet Her 'Idol' Rihanna at the Grammys Last Night


Sunday night’s Grammy Awards brought out music’s top stars, but perhaps none shined brighter than Rihanna. From her epic performance to her savvy use of all Fenty Beauty products, everyone thought RiRi was on point, including fellow Grammy nominee Pink and her daughter, Willow.

In a series of behind-the-scenes photos, Pink and Willow were spotted smiling and laughing with Rihanna, before stopping just long enough to take a picture together, with little Willow—cute!—standing on a chair.

“Dreams come true. My daughter lives for this woman. So do I,” Pink wrote in the caption of an Instagram shot showing Willow giving the music icon an enormous hug.

Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, also posted an intimate shot of the trio as they all hung out backstage. “I thought for sure mama Pink had the Grammy in the bag tonight, but it didn’t happen,” Hart wrote in the caption, referring to Pink losing out on Best Pop Solo Performance to Ed Sheeran. “But, she made the night VERY memorable for Willz!!! Willz has been a fan of Rihanna for a long time, and mama got an intro for her. Major mom points tonight.”

Though really, it didn’t appear Pink cared too much about her Grammy loss. In a second Instagram post, she explained that her night was filled with other more meaningful wins instead, like Willow meeting Rihanna, getting to spend time with her husband and her mom, dressing up, and singing a song that meant something deeply impactful to her.

“I sang my f-cking heart out for the cause, a song I wrote for the suffragette movement, barefoot in a white T-shirt and jeans,” she wrote in the caption. “I lost my 19th Grammy nomination, I consoled another talented loser, whom I love, and I kept my feet on the ground (cause spectators like to dare me to). Y’all I’m so proud of myself I’m gonna buy myself a drink tonight. Perseverance. Perspective, gratitude.”

Rihanna Mourns Cousin Who Was Killed by Gun Violence


Rihanna is currently mourning her cousin, who was reportedly killed in Barbados. The singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Tuesday (December 26) to share photos of the two of them together, along with a sobering and heartfelt message.

“RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms!” Rihanna wrote. “Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!” She ended the post with an important hashtag: #EndGunViolence, signifying that he died from gunshot wounds.

As noted by the BBC, Rihanna didn’t name her cousin, though she did tag him in the photos. Local Barbadian news station Nation News identified him as 21-year-old Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne. According to the outlet, Tavon was walking near his home when he was approached by a man who reportedly shot him multiple times. The suspect allegedly fled the scene, and although Tavon was rushed to the hospital, he later died from his injuries. Nation News adds that police are currently seeking further information about the shooting and have asked community members to help with their investigation.

It’s clear that Tavon will be mourned by his friends and family, and Rihanna’s post has already resonated with a lot of her fans. “Please let his soul rest in peace,” one fan commented, adding: “My deepest condolences to you and your family.” Another Instagram user wrote: “I know how it feels. There is no farewell worse than the one that never had an explanation.”

The BBC reports that Barbados has seen a rise in gun violence recently—a trend that has been confirmed by local police. Sadly, the United States is also no stranger to gun violence; EveryTown reports that an average of 93 Americans are killed by guns every day, and for every one person killed by a gun, two more are injured. However, there are ways to get involved in the conversation about gun violence, and there are things you can do to help, like contacting your local representatives or joining an activist group. With more people taking action, hopefully the incidents of gun violence will someday be reduced, and there will be less families mourning their loved ones like Rihanna is doing today.
