Peter Weber Just Broke Down His Six-Hour Breakup With Madison Prewett

Peter Weber’s breakup from Madison Prewett lasted longer than their relationship post-The Bachelor.

Seriously! Weber just appeared on a slew of podcasts (some with his new quarantine partner, Kelley Flanagan, and some without) to discuss the ins and outs of his time on the reality series and what he’s up to now. While talking with Bachelor Nation alum Nick Viall on The Viall Files, he revealed exactly what went down between him and Prewett post-After the Final Rose.

“That was tough, we left the stage together, we were supposed to do some press. We just couldn’t do it, we just weren’t in the right headspace,” Weber told Viall, according to Cosmopolitan. “She went to her hotel to talk to her family for a bit, then she came over to my hotel…that was mainly just trying to be there for each other.”

He continued, “The second day was when we pretty much spent the entire day together, that was…okay, let’s figure this out. I remember going to her hotel…it was super sad. For probably six hours, we stayed on her bed there, we laughed, we cried, we hugged each other…it was rough.”

From this, it seems like pretty much Peter Weber and Madison Prewett’s entire relationship (aside from the actual show) was spent breaking up. Really. They didn’t even see each other between Prewett’s surprise visit after his breakup from Hannah Ann Sluss and the After the Final Rose live show. “After she had come and surprised me, I had gotten her number and we started talking,” Weber also said on Viall’s podcast. “I didn’t see her again, physically, until on stage, but we were able to talk and have some good honest conversations…conversations that, yeah, we should have had while we were on the show.”

He continued, “Looking back on it, I feel like we should have tried to see each other before we showed up on stage together. The reason we did that is we wanted it to be completely authentic…I don’t know if that was the best choice.”

Did Peter Weber Just Reveal the Real Reason He and Madison Broke Up After ‘The Bachelor’?

Peter Weber is keeping sane during the coronavirus pandemic by answering a lot of fan questions on Instagram Stories…and the latest may have revealed how he truly feels about his breakup from Madison Prewett after The Bachelor.

On Sunday, March 22, one fan took part in the former Bachelor’s Q&A by requesting some breakup advice. “Advice for someone who was just broken up with out of a 3-year relationship,” the anonymous user requested. Weber’s answer, however, seemed extremely personal.

“Breakups are supposed to hurt,” Weber wrote. “But I believe things happen for a reason and you’re one step closer to your person now.” That’s sweet, but it’s what he says next that feels pretty close to home.

“You should never want to be with someone that doesn’t want you back the same way,” he concluded, pairing the sentiment with a pensive solo pic. Hmmm…

While this could have just been earnest advice to a fellow brokenhearted human, his answer is particularly telling when you take into account Weber and Prewett’s relationship before the Barb of it all and the “After the Final Rose” ceremony. Before Weber’s mom criticized the couple on national television, they had already been through a breakup. Prewett left the competition after realizing how different her values were from Weber’s. The fact that he’d slept with the other contestants during Fantasy Suite week seemed like just the breaking point.

Weber even told Prewett that she was the only one whose feelings toward him weren’t clear, and Prewett apparently admitted to Barb she wouldn’t agree to an engagement. Could they have simply realized their feelings were not on the same level?

“Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further,” Weber wrote on Instagram on March 13, just three days after The Bachelor finale. “Believe me this was not easy for either of us to be ok with, but after a lot of honest conversations, we have agreed that this is what makes most sense for the two of us. The love and respect I have for Madi will continue to endure.”

Weber answered a bunch of other questions during the Q&A, as well, including one about the current state of a certain injury.

“Doing a lot better than this pic haha,” he replied to someone who asked about his forehead. “Been getting microneedling done on it every few months and cream twice a day. Dr says it takes about a year to fully heal.” With all the joyful Instagrams Weber has been posting lately, it seems like that’s not the only scar beginning to fade.

The Queen Just Broke Her Silence on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Stepping Down

Queen Elizabeth II has broken her silence on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to step down as senior members of the royal family. It turns out the reports were true: The queen really did host a family meeting on Monday, January 13, to discuss the situation with Meghan and Harry. And shortly after, she released this lengthy statement to the public:

“Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family.

My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.

Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives.

It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the U.K.

These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”

See the statement for yourself, below:

From this, it appears the queen is relatively on board with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to step out on their own and become more financially independent. But it’s clear decisions and logistics still have to be hammered out.

In their original statement announcing this news, Markle and Prince Harry wrote, “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment. “

Tyler Cameron Finally Admits He Dated Gigi Hadid—and Explains Why They Broke Up

Even after multiple sightings (that included an overseas trip for a funeral), The Bachelorette‘s Tyler Cameron never actually confirmed he was dating Gigi Hadid—until now.

In a new interview with People, the reality star opens up about his relationship and breakup with the supermodel. “We’re just friends,” he said of their current status. But it sounds like he has no regrets. “Just meeting someone that was great. She’s a great person, and I met a great friend,” Cameron said when asked about the best parts of the relationship. “She’s someone that I have a lot of respect for and think highly of, so I met a great person.”

And the breakup sounds very amicable too. “I took it as I met a great person, a great friend. It wasn’t like a bad breakup or anything like that,” he said. “It was just, we’re at different parts of our lives right now.”

Watch Cameron explain this for yourself, below. Start around the 8:10 mark:

The pair was first spotted together back in August, hanging out at the Brooklyn outpost of the celebrity-favorite Soho House. Bowling dates, an upstate road trip, and dinner with Serena Williams soon followed. Cameron even accompanied Hadid to her grandmother’s funeral services in the Netherlands.

“Although Gigi and Tyler are spending more and more time together, they are still casually dating,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in August. “The two are enjoying building a friendship first, going on dates, and having fun. Nothing more than that right now.”

By October, however, Us Weekly was reporting that the relationship was over after just two months. “Tyler is single,” a source told the magazine. “He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together.”

Cameron says he’d date in the public eye again, though. “I’m still learning so much about myself every day. Being in this light is totally different, so I’m still learning,” he told People. “I’m open to dating anybody, public eye or not, just in the right time.””

Olympian Allyson Felix Broke a Record Held by Usain Bolt Just 10 Months After a C-Section

Over the weekend, Olympic sprinter Allyson Felix won her 12th gold medal at a track and field World Championships—breaking a record formerly held by Usain Bolt, the runner often referred to as the “world’s fastest man.”

Felix, 33, took the world record from Bolt in Doha after a 4 x 400 mixed-gender relay race victory. She’s competed in four Olympics and won nine medals, six of them gold, but what makes this victory even more important is that it’s Felix’s first since giving birth to her daughter, Camryn, ten months ago.

The birth wasn’t easy. People reports that the Olympian suffered from severe preeclampsia and gave birth via C-section. “It’s different, definitely challenging. I think for any new mom when she returned to work just, you’re exhausted and you’re balancing your family and what it all looks like,” she told the magazine in July about getting back into her training routine.

After her major accomplishment this weekend, Felix simply tweeted, “Humbled???.”

Since then, she’s spoken out about what this victory means as a mother. “Our journey to motherhood and back is bigger than us and bigger than sport. I believe it’s about overcoming and that is something we all have to do,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday. “I have seen the power of the collective. The need to speak your truth. It’s a pivotal time for women in sport. We can create change. Women, let’s support each other. Uplift and encourage. Open doors for one another. Celebrate and elevate each other. We can all win. This is sisterhood.”

It seems her daughter, and other mothers, are her biggest inspiration. “Life looks different. Cammy is 10 months old today. Figuring out this mom life,” she said. “I’ve had to fight a lot this year- for my health, for my daughter, for women & mothers, for what I deserve and for my fitness. I’m really proud to be at my 9th world championships and this one is extra special because my baby girl is in the stadium to watch it all.”

Felix, a new Athleta ambassador, has an impressive record of using her platform to advocate for women—and especially mothers—in sport. After Olympian Alysia Montaño called out her former sponsor Nike for not supporting pregnant athletes, Felix (and fellow Olympic runner Kara Goucher) also spoke up. “What I’m not willing to accept is the enduring status quo around maternity. I asked Nike to contractually guarantee that I wouldn’t be punished if I didn’t perform at my best in the months surrounding childbirth,” she wrote in a New York Times op-ed in May. “I wanted to set a new standard. If I, one of Nike’s most widely marketed athletes, couldn’t secure these protections, who could?”

It’s safe to say Felix has set a new standard: Women can be mothers and champions.

Tyler Cameron Just Broke His Silence on What's Going On With Him and Gigi Hadid

Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid have been the subject of lots of interest since they first started hanging out over the summer. To recap: In August, Cameron was spotted kicking it with Hadid just days after spending the night with Hannah Brown, who he dated on this past season of The Bachelorette. More dates have since followed. Now, Cameron is speaking out about the rumored relationship for the first time.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cameron said he and Hadid are “just friends.” “I mean… that’s just where we’re at. Our relationship doesn’t need to be public. She’s good people, she’s an amazing person and we’re just keeping it friendly,” he continued.

It seems Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid define friendly as hanging out at VMA after parties and at dinners with Hadid’s high-profile friends, like Serena Williams. The two of them reportedly even went on a low-key weekend getaway in upstate New York. He was even seen supporting Hadid at her grandmother’s funeral in the Netherlands.

Still, that doesn’t mean things are serious—and even if they are, Cameron isn’t ready for them to be out in the open. That makes sense, especially because he’s coming off of a pretty public dating show, where his every move with Brown was the subject of intense scrutiny.

“I’m at the point where I don’t really want to talk about my relationships. I’ve dated publicly, so… I’m trying to date privately and I’m not in love with anybody right now,” he said. “I’m in love with myself.”

But he did reiterate that Hadid is an “an amazing person.” “We have a great time together,” he added.

Well that’s that, people. Who knows, if Tyler Cameron stays single until next summer, maybe he can appear on Bachelor in Paradise. Hey, I can dream, right?
