Ashley “Ms. Minnie” Ross has passed away at the age of 34.

The Little Women: Atlanta star died on Tuesday, April 27, following a hit-and-run car accident, her management team confirms.

“It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms Minnie’ of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today, April 27th at the age of 34,” a statement from her team reads. “The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

The heartbreaking news was also confirmed on Ross’ Instagram page. Amanda Salinas, Ross’ Little Women: Atlanta co-star took to social media to pay tribute to her friend.

“As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie!!!!” Salinas wrote in a post on Instagram. “Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is.”

“I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever,” she continued. “I promise to keep you alive in my memories and be there for your mama @grneyes4life and aunt. You were more than our best friend you were our big sister and still is!!!”

“I still can’t believe this man why man why!!!! , I love you so much !!!! My heart is broken,” Salinas concluded her post. “Rest In Peace my love @msminnielwa.”

Little Women: LA star Tonya Banks also took to Instagram to pay tribute to Ross.

“Ms Minnie you will be missed RIH girlie,” Banks wrote. “My condolences to her friends and family #LWATL #Lifetime #msminnie #gonetosoon.”

Nick Cordero‘s team of doctors are working diligently to figure out why he developed a fever overnight. 

As the Broadway star remains in a coma nearly a month after he was first hospitalized with complications from COVID-19, wife Amanda Kloots returned to Instagram Stories with another update on his recovery. 

“Unfortunately,” Kloots shared, “they are not able to remove the ventilator today and put the trach [tube] in because early this morning he got a fever that caused his blood pressure to drop slightly.”

She said that Cordero, 41, is back on a “little bit of blood pressure medication,” which he was previously no longer taking because his condition had improved.  

“They are trying to just really make sure that this fever doesn’t really go anywhere, get out of control. They’re doing a couple tests to try find out the source of this fever,” Kloots said.  

Amanda is confident that her husband is in great hands, as she concluded, “They have got it under control. They are working on him and taking good care of him, but they are going to set aside the ventilator removal until they get this under control. So please keep us and Nick in your prayers.”

Late last week, Cordero’s family finally got a bit of good news when the Waitress star tested negative for COVID-19.

Amanda celebrated the update, sharing on Instagram at the time, “…now we’re just dealing with recovery and getting his body back from all the repercussions of the virus.”

Cordero, who earned a 2014 Tony nomination for Bullets Over Broadway, was admitted to the hospitalized in late March after being diagnosed with pneumonia. He tested negative for coronavirus twice before doctors administered a third test, which came back positive. Then weeks later, Cordero underwent an emergency amputation procedure to prevent blood clotting in his right leg. 

He’s remained unconscious for several weeks.

Kate Hudsonand Jimmy Fallon are reminiscing on what could have been… 

You might remember that Hudson and Fallon both starred in the 2000 dramedy Almost Famous but even two decades later, there’s a lot more that we didn’t know about what went down during that time. 

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Hudson reminisced with her old pal about how “wild” it is to revisit that time.

“There were so many things that I forgot… that I remembered while we were doing the interview,” Hudson said, as the two talked about recently appearing on a podcast dedicated to the film. “It was such a beautiful walk down that time in our lives. What a special experience for everybody that was.”

“I think we all had the best time,” Fallon answered. 

“And then there were relationships that came out of it, which by the way we need to discuss,” Hudson said jokingly, referring to an older episode from 2018 when Fallon reveals to Margot Robbiethat he had a former crush on the How To Loose A Guy in 10 Days actress. “We have things to discuss.” 

At the time, Fallon also told the story of how he tried to the woo the actress years ago but ended up introducing her to her now ex-husband Chris Robinson. 

During tonight’s video chat on the show, Hudson and Fallon couldn’t help but laugh about it together.

“And then you and I ended up hanging out all the time,” the actress jokingly recalled, before bringing up the 2018 episode of the late night host’s show. “And then when you were doing your show… and you literally…”

“Did you see it?” Fallon asked. 

“Yes, are you kidding me? I had like 100 people send me that clip,” she said. “Can I just tell you what happened to me as I was listening to this?” 

She went on, “I was like, Jimmy… I had no idea like there was no… like I wish people could have been in our body to watch you and I’s relationship and friendship because… you gave me no indication.”

“Well, I gave a little indication, I thought we were good together,” Fallon answered. 

“Jimmy, if you would have actually made a move, I would have totally gone there,” she said. “I remember thinking to myself, why has Jimmy never made a move? And then I just kind of realized, ‘Oh, he’s not into me like that.’ And so, then I met Chris.”

But Fallon interjected, saying, “That’s not the story at all!”

Katie Couric is one tough critic.

For the past 30 years, the Today show host has held numerous roles in the field of journalism. Some of her positions were serious and focused on hard topics, while others were more light-hearted, like the times she reported from the Olympics or the set of Harry Potter. Her long resume and hours of footage are proof that if anyone knows what is required of a TV host, it’s her. 

So it’s not entirely surprising that the former anchor viewed The Morning Show with a critical eye, especially since Jennifer Aniston‘s lead character, Alex Levy, is rumored to be based on Katie herself. 

The Apple+ series premiered on the platform in November 2019 and largely centers around Alex’s (Jennifer) battle to maintain her position after her co-host is fired for alleged sexual misconduct. 

According to InStyle, Couric said on the Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino podcast, “I thought some of it was really interesting.”

She said that the writers of the show did a good job in portraying the “long-term impact and the serious devastation that results from certain behaviors,” which Katie would have an understanding of given her involvement with the Today show and Matt Lauer, whose contract was terminated over inappropriate sexual behavior.

As for Jennifer’s rumored depiction of her, Katie thought her acting was “great” but described the character as lacking in the charm that a TV host would typically possess. “I wish they had made her more charismatic because I think you need a certain ebullience to pull off a show like that,” Katie noted. 

Couric refused to go more into detail and told the host, “I’ll just leave it at that.” 

Perhaps the journalist will tune-in once again when season two airs, although it will be awhile before they can release the finished product as the showrunner said before the coronavirus pandemic that they intended to film over the summer. 

Kylie Jenner, is that you?!

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star made fans do a double take when she put her dancing moves on full display. On Monday afternoon, she showed off her twerking skills for all to see on her BFF’s TikTok page.

Dancing to the popular Tiger King-inspired version of Megan Thee Stallion‘s hit song, “Savage,” Kylie and Anastasia Karanikolaou (aka Stassie Baby) twerked in itty-bitty bikinis.

The 22-year-old beauty mogul donned a black two-piece, which appeared to have a thong bottom while her ruched top was designed with a few strings dangling at the front. It was a simple and minimalistic ensemble but it was far from basique.

As for Stassie? She opted for something more colorful and bright, and wore a tie-dye swimsuit.

“can’t convince me that it didn’t happen,” Stassi’s TikTok video caption read, with footage of the two best friends twerking to the tune.

While many fans were in disbelief over Kylie’s major dance moves, she recently revealed that she’s really good at twerking.

Sitting down with her closest friends, Stassie, Victoria Villarroel and Yris Palmer, the reality TV personality said she would most likely win a twerking contest.

“Honestly, people don’t know this about me, though, but it moves!” Kylie said in a chat with her BFFs, which was posted on her YouTube channel last month.

Aside from showing off her stellar dance moves, the KUWTK star has been sharing a softer and more simple side to herself. 

Case in point: she’s been donning laid-back ‘fits that us normal people can actually copy. Over the weekend, she sported a cropped white tee and loose-fitted denim jeans. It was oh-so-chic! 

Moreover, her glam was also subdued compared to her normal makeup and hair looks. With only a touch of mascara, baby pink lipstick and rose-colored blush, the beauty mogul looked completely different.

She later noted that she’s been “experimenting” with her makeup.
