Ellen DeGeneres and Milo Ventimiglia Did a Hilarious *Bachelor* Parody For Halloween

Ellen DeGeneres has a pretty strong Halloween game, but she took things up a notch today by dressing up as a Bachelor contestant and staging a full reenactment of the hit dating show. I’m not exaggerating, either: On Wednesday’s episode of Ellen, the comedy powerhouse threw on a silver gown, long blond wig, and dubbed herself “Kelllly D.,” a dental assistant whose only agenda on The Bachelor is to find a man and drink tequila. So, in other words, she has the first impression rose in the bag.

Her suitor, if you’re curious, was none other than Milo Ventimiglia, a.k.a Jack Pearson on This Is Us, a.k.a the Internet’s collective husband. The two shared a super sweet two minutes together than included “Kelllly” making this A+ dental pun: “Would you like me to examine your mouth with my tongue?” FitTea, go ahead and line up a spon-con deal for “Kelllly” because she’s already a Bachelor Nation fan favorite.

She’s also a smart contestant, too. In the off chance that Milo didn’t pick her, she had a backup ready to go: Nick Viall, a Bachelor veteran. However, he decided to kick it with one of “Kelllly’s” competitors in a hot tub instead. Rude! “Kelllly” shouldn’t sweat it, though. I mean, did she see Nick’s moves on Dancing With the Stars? (Kidding.)

Unfortunately, Milo ended up picking another contestant (Rebel Wilson!), so “Kelllly” went home. In a perfectly rational exit interview, she said, “I don’t even like him. I like artichokes, OK? That’s why I’m scared of parakeets.” Yup, I 100 percent feel you, K. We’ve all been there.

Here's What Is Next for Bachelor in Paradise's Newly Engaged Jenna Cooper and Jordan Kimball

Caution: Bachelor in Paradise finale spoilers ahead.

Jordan Kimball and Jenna Cooper may provide Bachelor in Paradise with lots of comedic relief (see: the time Jordan threw a giant stuffed animal into the ocean, but their love is the real deal. “I’ve just never seen anything like them before,” Kenny King told Glamour after the finale taping. “The minute Jenna walked into Paradise, it was just over for Jordan.” Even Grocery Store Joe Amabile sees them going the distance and getting married by next summer. Or, as he puts it, “Jordan’s a go-getter.”

While Paradise wasn’t always easy for Cooper, a 29-year-old fitness model/social media manager, and Kimball, a 26-year-old pensive gentleman, the two are happy their journey was documented. “It’s nice to watch it back and know we’re always going to have that,” Jordan tells Glamour. Adds Jenna, “We get to relive [falling in love]. And to see it working in real life, I just love it. It makes me so happy.”

So what is life going to be like now that the couple can go out in public together? And are they serious about getting married next summer in Paradise? After the finale, we caught up with the pair. Read on.

PHOTO: Jessica Radloff

Congratulations! How did you know you this was your person?

Jordan Kimball: Just meeting her was so powerful. As soon as I saw her, I knew that I was never going to be the same. [To Jenna] I’ll always care about you, I’ll always love you unconditionally. This just brought us so close, and I don’t picture it without you.

Jenna Cooper: I can’t imagine living without you now. His fearless, stubborn pursuit of me made me feel like, OK, if we can get through Paradise and what I put you through, then we can get through anything. And I want to.

But Jenna, he put you through stuff, too!

Jordan: True. I put the whole community through things.

Jenna: Yeah, you did! But I feel like we’re not just going to get through things in life, we’re going to thrive as a couple. Personally, I think you bring out the best in me, and I bring out the best in you.

On tonight’s finale, you said you want to get married June 9th next year, which is usually when Paradise is filming. So you want to get married on the show then, correct?

Jenna: Yes, in the environment where we fell in love. I can’t imagine it somewhere else.

Jordan: Yes. We owe it to them. They brought us together. To have everyone back is like another reunion, and they got to witness us fall in love. It’s such a beautiful place to bring all of our family there. I can’t think of a more fun environment.

At one point before you got engaged, Jenna, Jordan said he didn’t know if he was ready. Does seeing and hearing some of these moments for the first time affect you?

Jordan: Absolutely. You don’t know what to expect. You don’t really understand what’s going on until you watch it back. I remember we did our fantasy suite, and I woke up the next morning and thought, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I thought [Jenna] was wonderful and then on the ride back [to the resort], I immediately got into the Suburban and knew at that moment. It just synced up. I was like, “OK, I’m going to do this!”

Jenna: I didn’t expect it, but I knew I was going to say yes—whenever he asked me, whether it was then or a year from now.

Jordan: She had a lot to say to me in the time building up to me getting down on one knee. She [talked] a lot. I was impressed. Usually you don’t talk that much. Not about love.

Jenna: That’s because I’ve met my match when it comes to talking. I just let you take the reins sometimes. I thought you’d appreciate that.

Jordan: Thanks, thanks.

You two have talked a lot about being parents. Is that really in the near future?

Jordan: There’s a lot of talk about that. But I think we’re at least a year out.

Jenna: Yeah, agreed.

What’s next for you both?

Jordan: I’m still on the same career path that I’ve been in. I actually have a shoot in a few days with Wilhelmina in Miami. She’s doing the same thing she’s been doing. We’re trying to let each other grow separately so we can help support our wants and everything. But while we’re doing that, we’re fueling the growth for us together, and…

Jenna: I like it that way. I’m pretty independent.

Jordan: We’ve [talked about me] moving from Florida. I’ve been traveling a lot, so I find myself not in Florida very much recently. It’s a good time to start a new chapter. Fall is coming up. Strike some romance there and keep falling for you. And yeah, we’re talking places and location. It’s not something you just sit down and decide. We’re going to figure it out and when we do, it’s going to be rock solid.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 5, Episode 11 Recap: The Finale

This season of Bachelor in Paradise had its highs (Jordan’s stuffed animal tantrum) and lows (everything to do with Leo), and the finale was no different. So let’s get right into it, shall we? Spoilers ahead.

Rather than put us through two hours of “will they or won’t they?” drama, the editors very kindly reveal what happens with the remaining couples right away. First up, Kamil and Annaliese profess their love for each other—but Kamil admits he’s not ready for an engagement yet. “I need to move at a pace that is long term for us,” he tells Annaliese, as her soul crumples inside. She puts on a brave face, though, and says she “totally” agrees.

“I wanted to come in here and be, like, engaged at the end, but, like, I’m not worried,” Annaliese says. “I know that he wants to marry me. It may not be today, it may be in a couple weeks or a couple months, but we’re on that path.”

Next up is Jenna and Jordan. When they get to the beach, Jenna’s so nervous she needs a minute to gather herself. “I was scared of love and happiness,” she tells Jordan once she calms down. “You slayed all my demons without hesitation.” Jordan gives a little speech himself before proposing with a sparkly Neil Lane ring. She says yes, natch.

Finally, Chris throws a curveball when he and Krystal head to the beach. “I have to be honest with you,” he says. “I’m so sorry, Krystal, but it would be unfair to the both of us if I left here today holding your hand…because I want to leave here holding your heart.” With that, he proposes and she says yes. Really, Chris? A prank during a proposal? (To hear his side of the story, read our interview.)

After the proposals, the episode transitions to Chris Harrison in the studio with the cast. Everyone’s greeted with a cheer except for Leo, who gets booed. We get a few updates on the couples. Eric apologizes to Angela for ending things too soon, Tia and New Bachelor Colton are friends now, and Olivia reveals she and John spent one weekend together before he told her he just wanted to be friends. She’s a little salty about it because he’s said publicly that he’s been Facetiming with Chelsea and that felt like a slap in the face. Then we totally move on and NEVER ADDRESS THIS. (Are Chelsea and John together? What’s going on? Someone please tweet me @annamoeslein with updates.)

Anyway, Jordan and Benoit have another tiff—lame—but the big reveal is that David and Jordan are chill with each other now. Wow, love really has changed Jordan.

Next, Chris Harrison brings Astrid and Kevin out on stage. She’s still hurt about their breakup and finding it hard to trust him. He says he still regrets doing the fantasy suite with Ashley on Bachelor in Paradise: Winter Games, so when it came time for it on Paradise he freaked out. Once he went home, he went back to therapy and realized the split was his fault and his own baggage. He still loves Astrid, and she still loves him, so hopefully they can work it out.

Speaking of breakups, Kendall regrets ending things with Joe. So, she went to Chicago to apologize and tell him she’s in love with him. They reveal that they’ve visited each other a few times and are in love. “I like waking up next to her,” Joe says. Then, Chris Harrison offers Joe a spot on Dancing With the Stars so the two can be in the same city (Los Angeles) for some time. (Yes, really, Joe is doing DWTS.)

So, what are Annaliese and Kamil up to? WELL LET ME TELL YOU. Poor Annaliese shows up on stage and is halfway through bragging about how good their relationship is when Kamil stops her to say, “I think I may not be the guy for you.” He then proceeds to go on and on about how he lost the spark after paradise and acts as if he’s doing her this huge favor by breaking up with her on national television. Annaliese is like, WTF we just booked an Airbnb together? (So real. So relatable.) Kamil claims he wanted to do this face to face…and the first chance was on TV, dude?

In other news, Jenna and Jordan are still engaged and claim they want to get married next summer on Bachelor in Paradise. (That is, unless those rumors currently floating around are true?)

When Chris and Krystal get their time in the spotlight, Chris starts crying because he’s so happy. There’s a cute video of him meeting her dogs, and they reveal that they’re moving in together soon. Their families have already met; in fact, their moms are BFFs. Cute!

And that wraps this season of Paradise. I’ll see you all in January—enjoy the break!

Surprise: Bachelor in Paradise's Joe Amabile and Kendall Long Are Back Together

Caution: Spoilers for Bachelor in Paradise ahead.

It’s been a whirlwind 48 hours for Bachelor in Paradise fans, especially those who shipped Grocery Store Joe Amabile and Taxidermy Kendall Long. The once-solid couple had one of the more frustrating breakups this season, after Kendall told Joe on Monday’s episode that she didn’t know what kind of love she felt for him. Both left in tears, and all of Twitter went into full-fledged #TeamJoe mode:

But surprise! At the Bachelor in Paradise finale, Joe and Kendall revealed they’re back together. If that wasn’t enough, Chris Harrison invited a stunned Joe to compete on this season’s Dancing with the Stars, and he said yes. Talk about your life doing a 180 before your eyes.

“I had no idea that was coming! No idea. I still don’t know what’s going on,” Joe told Glamour after the finale. “I’m freaking out in my head. I don’t regret saying yes, [but] I don’t know how I’m going to do. It’s going to be interesting.”

As for Kendall, she can’t wait to see Joe out of his element. “I am so freaking excited to see Joe dance, because Joe hates dancing! Hates it. If you get a couple drinks in him he’ll dance a little bit, but he isn’t a dancer. So this is great. I’m excited for him to learn, [see] this new version of him, and grow with him.”

It’s a far cry from where the couple ended things in Mexico back in late June. “I feel like [the break-up] kind of happened for a reason, because we learned so much about each other,” Kendall says. “We had to almost be thrown in to everything in order to discover if this was actually something we wanted to work on.”

For his part, Joe thought there was no chance he’d get back together with Kendall when he left Paradise. “I thought it was over,” he tells us. “And I thought it was over because she was scared…and after that, that was it for me.” While Joe says he didn’t doubt that Kendall did care for him, he says that looking back “she was just scared because I’m the opposite of what she’s had or ever thought she’d have.”

And now? “I’m very happy,” Kendall says. “It was a really long road to get to where I am now, but overall I feel like it’s positive and everything turned out for the best. Once I got over the fear of everything I was just able to enjoy [the relationship].”

Kendall—who lives in Los Angeles—is excited to welcome Joe to her city while he competes on DWTS, but isn’t so sure she’d be willing to move to his hometown of Chicago once Joe completes his run on the show. “I think it would make more sense for Joe to move to Los Angeles as opposed to me moving to Chicago, but I do love Chicago. I just wouldn’t go there during the winter!”

Joe on the other hand, is only thinking about surviving his DWTS debut and this newfound fame. “I’m getting used to it,” he says. “It’s fun, it’s different. I don’t hate it.” He pauses. “I mean, I get nervous, but I think that’s normal. My life just majorly changed tonight.”

Bachelor in Paradise's Chris Randone Reveals Why He Wanted to Confuse Krystal Nielson During His Proposal

Caution: Bachelor in Paradise finale spoilers ahead.

If Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson are looking for someone other than Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison to officiate their wedding, they should look no further than fellow contestant John Graham. At the finale taping, Graham couldn’t stop raving about his support for the two. “They are head over heels for each other, and they are amazing together,” he told Glamour. “So supportive, and they’re moving in together. Everything about their relationship is awesome. I love them and support them 100%.” Even Tia got on the Chris and Krystal bandwagon when she told us that “as crazy as it is, they’re made for each other. I think they’ve got a damn good shot at this. It totally works.”

John and Tia should know. After all, they were with the pair for most of Paradise—the place where Chris and Krystal managed to rehab their image from their time on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. But what makes the pair certain they’ll thrive as a couple in the real world? And most important, what was up with Chris’ confusing proposal that made it seem like he might break up with Krystal? We caught up with the engaged couple to get the answers to all that and more.

PHOTO: Jessica Radloff

Chris, you kind of made viewers think you might be breaking up with Krystal during your proposal. Why?

Chris Randone: I wanted to let her know that I was so in love with who she was on the inside—her heart.

Krystal Nielson: I was nervous!

Chris: It was just something where I wanted to keep her on her toes because she always keeps me on my toes. I didn’t want to leave here holding her hand. I wanted to leave here secure in her heart. That’s how I felt, and that’s how it came out.

Krystal: I was watching him, hearing him say the words, but his body language was so into me, I was like, “Uh, I hear what you’re saying but your body language isn’t matching up. So…” I knew he was messing with me. [Laughs] For a moment, though, I was like, “What?” Then I was assessing the situation and was like, “Nah… he’s playing with me. He loves me. He loves me.”

Chris: She’s incredible. There was a moment in our fantasy suite date where she was talking about an ex, but I thought she was talking about the situation between her and I, and I thought she was about to end it. I couldn’t breathe for like 15 seconds when she was talking to me, so I was like, I’m going to give her a taste of her own medicine… [Laughs]

Is that really why you messed with her at the proposal then?

Chris: No, no. I just had this whole thing…I took an entire day to figure out what I wanted to say. They felt like vows. I wanted to pinpoint all the amazing things she’s done for me and the transformation she’s helped me with, the evolution. All the key moments we had in paradise, even in the beginning episode—there was so much depth and so much conversation that really brought us together. And here we are.

Would you consider getting married on Paradise next year?

Chris: That’s a really good question because we definitely want a beach wedding. I’m going to support anything she wants.

Krystal: [Yes], barefoot in the sand!

Wherever it is, you need people to throw glitter instead of rice once you’re married.

Chris: If that’s what she wants, we’re getting pounds of glitter. That’s a very good advice. I’m all for it. Love it.

What makes you guys know that you found your person?

Chris: For me, it was our one-on-one date. We were dancing in the water, and she had this glow. She kept smiling, and I looked into her eyes and it was in that moment that it was the eyes of the woman I wanted to look into forever. 100 percent. I knew right then and there I was going to get down on one knee in paradise. I was already sold. It was just something I felt in the inside. She has a very genuine heart and her soul is so beautiful, I couldn’t imagine connecting with another woman or having love for another woman.

Krystal: We talked about this early on. The way things were going, I had a feeling he was going to leave without friends and have a bad experience. [Because of that] I wanted to give him some advice. It was the day after the second rose ceremony, and I wanted to see what he would do with [my advice]. He just stepped up and listened and applied the feedback. He got vulnerable. I love a man who can take ownership. Through his actions, he really won my heart over.

Finally, Krystal, how do you feel about the fact that a black box was used to cover up your butt most of the time on Paradise?

Krystal: [Laughs] I’m annoyed! I worked really hard on leg days specifically to rock those bikinis.

Chris: She wore some incredible bikinis, and it’s very unfortunate that the black box takes that away.

Krystal: But it looked good. I looked good. [Laughs]

Bachelor in Paradise Season 5, Episode 10 Recap: These Breakups Are Hard to Watch

Caution: Spoilers ahead.

It’s a new day on Bachelor in Paradise, but that doesn’t mean the spell Shushanna cast is over. “So, are you a good witch or a bad witch?” Wells asks Shu first thing in the morning. “I’m a good witch,” she replies. All kidding aside, Shu thinks she just has “the look” of a witch, so that’s how the rumor spread. Even if that’s true, Shu, I don’t think burning Kamil’s photo in the fire helped.

In other news, Jordan and Jenna go on a date where they take “engagement photos.” Their purple-haired photographer seems nice enough, but I suspect he has some sort of vendetta against the double Js because the “final” photos we see on screen are so, so awkward. Jenna’s eyes are half-closed in one, Jordan makes a weird face in another…they’re all outtakes, basically. What did they do to piss him off? It must be bad because before shoot ends, he springs a surprise on Jenna: a wedding dress to wear in the last pics. Jenna isn’t into this—not because of the dress or the lame premise. No, she’s uncomfortable because her feelings for Jordan are real, and she wants to know if he feels the same way. When she confesses this to Jordan, he says all the right things and then they jump into the ocean. After all that, did the photographer even take any wedding dress pics? Unclear.

Anyway, they return to the villa from their date and a new arrival shows up soon after: Robby, who is met with crickets. The guys don’t want a new person competing for a rose, and the women don’t want a sentient Kewpie doll in their presence. Also, as Cassandra says, “Why is Robby Hayes here? Every single girl here knows his reputation; it’s not a good one.”

Everyone gossips about how he cheated on Amanda Stanton after last season of Bachelor in Paradise, but when Robby asks Shushanna out she says yes.

“I feel like Shushanna’s moved on from Kamil. She burned his photo in the fire.” – I forgot to write down who said this, but it’s gold nonetheless.

Shushanna knows people have “negative thoughts” about Robby—or, as Astrid puts it, “You can’t turn a fuckboy into a husband”—but she doesn’t “want to hear about it.” On their date, Shu tells Robby that everyone thinks she’s a witch. He brushes it off and jokes, “Put a spell on me hahaha,” and this is enough to win her over.

Back at the villa, Joe tries to have a serious conversation with Kendall about whether or not they’re on track to getting engaged. She avoids the conversation and ducks out before giving him a real answer. And the next day, she totally avoids him.

That night, ahead of the rose ceremony, there are three main dramas at play. First, there’s the love triangle between Olivia, Diggy, and John. Diggy pulled some strings (read: producers) to get the trumpeter from their first date to come perform for them. However, John steals her away in the middle of it to show her a sunflower field he (producers) made.

Cue an incredibly sad but hilarious montage of Diggy sitting alone with the trumpet player. And it turns out it was even worse than it looks:

The second drama of the night is the most short-lived: Olivia and Cassandra feel it’s their duty as Shu’s friends to warn her about Robby. They tell her he’s a serial cheater and his intentions here questionable, but Shu’s like, “I’m just not sure!” When she asks Robby directly if he’s ever cheated he just says, “Yes.” Somehow, Shu doesn’t seem bothered by this.

“I have been 100 percent honest…since I’ve been here.” -Robby

The main drama of the night is between Kendall and Joe. He’s upset that she’s avoiding a serious talk, but when they finally sit down Kendall admits she doesn’t know if she’s in love with him. Joe’s frustrated; he’s been falling for her this whole time, but it’s hard to express that when she’s said repeatedly she’s afraid of commitment because her past boyfriends “suffocated” her. Kendall thought they were on the same page, but Joe says that was her projecting. They break up and leave paradise in tears.

Their departure throws everyone off, but the rose ceremony must go on. The couples are: Cassandra and Jordan, Shushanna and Robby, Annaliese and Kamil, Astrid and Kevin, Krystal and Chris, Jenna and Jordan, and Olivia and John. This means Diggy is leaving paradise, but there’s always his trumpet player! Literally, the trumpet player is sitting in the back of the van with Diggy.

The next morning, Kevin spends an hour talking about the eight-egg omelet he ordered. You know Astrid loves him because she listens to the whole thing and says “Wow!” without any hint of sarcasm. But before he gets a chance to eat it, Chris Harrison shows up to reveal that nobody new will be entering paradise. Instead, the remaining couples have a few options: leave hand in hand, stay and go to the fantasy suite (and probably head toward an engagement), or say goodbye now.

With that, things start getting real. John tells Olivia that he likes her, but he doesn’t think they’re ready for the fantasy suite and all that comes with it yet. She agrees, and they decide to leave but continue “hanging out.” Cassandra and Jordan split, and it’s as awkward as their entire relationship. Robby breaks up with Shushanna by saying, “If I’m in Utah, we can grab dinner or something.”

Annaliese right away is like, “We should DEFINITELY do the fantasy suite!” Kamil, who seconds earlier was on the verge of breaking up with her, backtracks and says he’s in. Chris and Krystal, and Jenna and Jordan, also decide they’re ready for their individual fantasy suites.

The big surprise comes when Kevin and Astrid talk. He’s freaking out because the last two times he’s done the fantasy suite have been a disaster. (Kevin, why are you still signing up for this franchise? You know you can say no, right?) “There’s something missing with me,” he says through tears. “It’s like I’m at 80%.” It’s clear this is all about him and nothing to do with her—but it’s still hard on Astrid. She feels blindsided because, to her, she gave him so many opportunities to be open about how he was feeling. It’s a hard breakup to watch—probably because it’s one of the most realistic ones to happen on this show. Ultimately, they both leave alone.

As for the fantasy suites, they’re pretty uneventful unless you’ve been dying to watch Krystal rub a feather over Chris’ bare chest. (And if so, may I suggest therapy?) So with that, I’ll see you tomorrow for the season finale. Almost there!
