Kourtney Kardashian Clapped Back at a Mommy-Shamer Who Said Her Son Reign’s Hair Is Too Long

As the Kardashian family is wont to do, Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 14, to share with the world how she and her kids celebrated Easter this past weekend.

The slideshow included gorgeous photos of tasty treats, colorful eggs, and a heart-shaped waffle, as well as an adorable video of her son, Reign (featuring the voice of daughter Mason), reacting to their Easter gifts. “A Quarantined Easter story,” she wrote in the caption, adding that the presents were from Kris Jenner. Unfortunately, not everyone was focused on the positive.

Now, there’s a lot to chime in on here. For one, after claiming that the Easter Bunny delivered presents, Mason immediately called B.S., saying, “No, mom, I saw those in the garage!” Also, there’s definitely at least one Dior box in those gift bags. However, for some reason, one troll decided to take issue with Reign’s [check notes] hair? According to People, one commenter wrote, “Bruh cut your son hair…smh.” Mind your business.

Obviously, Kardashian couldn’t let that stand. “Most gorgeous hair on Earth anyone who says otherwise ABCDEFG,” she wrote in response. If you’re wondering what the hell “ABCDEFG” means, Kardashian is referencing her famous line from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which many have begun replicating on TikTok. ABCDEFG = “This conversation is over.” Don’t ask us why.

For whatever reason, this is far from the first time trolls have hit up Kardashian’s comments section to complain about Reign’s long, beautiful hair. Haters have been coming at the reality star about this since at least 2018, when she shared an image of her son by the pool.

“Reign is so cute! But cut his hair! I can never tell if he’s Penelope or himself,” one commenter wrote at the time along with plenty of other similar comments by other mommy-shamers. Apparently, telling the difference between Reign and Penelope is of dire consequence for absolute strangers. How about everybody worries about themselves? ABCDEFG.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Have a Long, Hilarious History of Trolling Each Other

Instagram

February 2018: The V-Day shenanigans continued with this “glue” cake Reynolds made for Lively. It looks delicious.

April 2018: Two months later Lively decided to praise the back of her head in a photo with Reynolds at the center. I’d 10/10 do the same if my braid looked this good.

April 2018: Ryan Reynolds Uses Trolling to Shut Down Break-Up Rumors, Part 1

April 2018: Ryan Reynolds Uses Trolling to Shut Down Break-Up Rumors, Part 2

May 2018: The trailer for Lively’s new film A Simple Favor drops. It’s confusing, so Reynolds tweets Lively and asks what the hell’s going on. Instead of giving an answer, she trolls, naturally.

May 2018: “Is the extra distance between you supposed to convince me that you DON’T love him more than me?? Nice try,” Lively commented on this photo of Hugh Jackman and Reynolds. What Lively doesn’t know is Jackman and Reynolds have the space between them so I can pop in the middle.

June 2018: In perhaps their funniest case of trolling yet, Lively and Reynolds have a back-and-forth about his fictional twin brother Gordon. I want a husband to be witty with on Instagram! Until that time comes, though, at least I have these two.

June 2018: Lively calls her Simple Favor costar Anna Kendrick the “hotter, female(r)” version of her husband, and jokes about cheating on him. Reynolds replies in good, hilarious spirits.

August 2019: In honor of Lively’s birthday, Reynolds pulled off a master troll by posting a series of unflattering photos of the b-day girl. “Happy Birthday, @blakelively,” he wrote alongside images that show her blinking, making funny faces, and looking generally unprepared.

September 2019: Lively strikes back by sharing a hilarious screenshot from her Instagram photo app of Reynolds in a goofy-looking hat shaped like a chicken. Her image appears next to it, looking grave and unamused. She published it on her Instagram Stories.

The Best Summer Books of 2019—Here’s What to Read All Season Long

After what felt like a never-ending winter, it’s finally time for chilled rosé, sundresses with sandals, and weekend getaways. And while the aforementioned hallmarks of the season are a delight, there’s one in particular that I dream about all year long: summer books.

Also known as the beach read, these books are made for the season: easy, breezy, and entertaining. Whether or not you’re actually in front of a body of water—or just lying in a particularly sunny spot—there’s no better feeling than reading a truly engrossing novel while getting a hit of vitamin D. My fellow Glamour editors couldn’t agree more. Here are some of our all-time favorite summer books—both new and older—to read on a porch, by a pool, or just with a sound machine turned to “ocean waves.”

And if you run through this list and need more recommendations for a good summer read, try these best books of 2019.

Serena Williams Is Finally on a Wheaties Box—But Why Did It Take This Long?

Serena Williams is one of the most decorated tennis players in the world. She’s won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, 14 doubles titles with her sister, Venus, four Olympic gold medals…the list could go on and on. She’s also an outspoken advocate for equal pay, a successful businesswoman, a mom, a wife, and a trusted friend.

But one honor has eluded her until now: the cover of the Wheaties box, a.k.a. the “breakfast of champions.” It seems unfathomable that it’s taken this long to bestow said honor on one of the greatest athletes in tennis—or any sport, for that matter—but that’s finally been rectified. Williams made the announcement today, June 25 on her Instagram. “In 2001, Wheaties paid homage to a true champion and an icon by putting her on the cover of a Wheaties Box. Althea Gibson was the FIRST Black Woman tennis player to be on the box,” she wrote. “Today, I am honored to be the second.”

The cereal brand dedicated their entire grid to the announcement simply stating, “She’s a champion.” On Twitter, the brand wrote, “She’s an athlete. She’s a fashion designer. She’s a philanthropist. She’s a mother. @serenawilliams is a Champion. #ShesAChampion.” The tradition of putting athletes on the cover of the cereal box started back in 1934 with baseball star Lou Gehrig and over the years has included Jesse Owens (the first black man on the box), Michael Jordan (who has appeared a record 18 times), Mary Lou Retton, Lindsay Vonn, and Michael Phelps.

Commenters expressed their excitement—as well as their disbelief that this hasn’t happened already. “Long over due, congratulations! ! And there needs to be a third, fourth and fifth……plus,” one user wrote. “I can’t believe it took Wheaties this long to put your image on the box. Regardless, it’s great,” another fan commented.

Twitter users were thrilled by the news too, offering congratulations to Williams. “I’m going to buy a box but never going to open it,” one fan tweeted. Another called her “an inspiration in every aspect of your life!”

No comment yet from Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohainian, or daughter, Olympia, on their Instagram accounts—but we’re sure they’re enormously proud.

Next up for Williams is Wimbledon which starts next week. Hopefully her friend, Meghan Markle will come out to cheer her on again this year.

At Long Last, 'Big Little Lies' Got Its Own Fashion Collection

It’s not surprising anymore when the release of a highly-anticipated television show is accompanied by some sort of limited-edition capsule collection inspired by it. Game of Thrones had Adidas sneakers and Urban Decay lipsticks; Riverdale had Keds shoes. And now, Big Little Lies is getting the same treatment—and of course, the incredibly chic capsule is worthy of the Monterey Five. (Truly, fandoms have never been so well-outfitted.)

HBO announced its partnering with The Wing, the members-only co-working space, on a collection inspired by the “circle of trust” between the women of Big Little Lies, featuring exclusively women-led fashion brands. It includes a Cuyana mini circle bag, an Outdoor Voices bra and legging set, and a pair of Lizzie Fortunato earrings—all in special colorways that draw from the show and its characters.

Everything is $150 or less, and part of the proceeds from each product will go to the National Network to End Domestic Violence.

You don’t have to be a member of The Wing to shop the collection: It’s live on the company’s e-commerce site. It’ll also be available for purchase at its SoHo and West Hollywood locations in New York and Los Angeles, respectively.

It’s easy to picture any of the Monterey Five wearing these pieces—Jane slinging the Cuyana bag across her body to head out with Ziggy, Renata putting on the Lizzie Fortunato earrings for a meeting, Bonnie teaching a yoga class in head-to-toe OV. (Madeline could totally be an OV type, too.)

Still, it’s an HBO-sanctioned way to dress like you’re in Big Little Lies, and another thing to obsess over before the show comes back on June 9. Consider your premiere watch party look sorted.
