Kendall Jenner Just Said Goodbye to Her Dark Hair


By now, almost all of the Kardashians have briefly abandoned their dark hair for something a little lighter (or in Khloé’s case, ice-white), and Kendall Jenner is the latest in the family to embrace the trend. It’s not the first time, of course; she went bright blond for a bit during London Fashion Week earlier this year, but she’s traditionally been the one to keep her hair darker. Still, she decided to change things up this winter and shared a couple of posts on Instagram this week that offer a look at her soft new waves.

Jenner shared a video that shows her playing with her hair, which she captioned simply, “I’m sleepy.” The shot gave fans a glimpse at her new shade, which is a slightly russet, soft brown color. Colorist Cassondra Kaeding created the new hue (Jenner’s longtime stylist, Jen Atkin, did the waves) and posted her own Instagram footage of Kendall, writing, “@kendalljenner glammed up on a Sunday, hbu?”

In addition to going blond for a quick period, Kendall had also decided to go for a cool ombré a few weeks ago. It was a subtle change that seems to have been the bridge that led her to going fully lighter. The new color is brighter, but definitely not overboard, and it actually really works for the holidays.

Jenner isn’t the only one who’s been experimenting a lot lately: Her older sister Kim and her regular hair colorist, Chris Appleton, have been playing around with her hair, which went from dark chocolate brown to a super pretty ombré with soft, rich hues. He shared a photo that shows Kim with her hair cascading down her shoulders on Instagram a few days ago, in which he wrote, “Who mastered the Cool Chocolate brown this winter?”

It’s slightly different from Kendall’s, but both sisters are giving us plenty of winter inspiration.

Kendall Jenner's Impression of Kylie Jenner Doing a Make-Up Tutorial Is Too Good


Everyone once in a while, the Kardashian sisters engage in a little friendly sibling rivalry—but Kendall Jenner is on a roll this week. On Tuesday, December 10, she joined Harry Styles while he was filling in on The Late, Late Show With James Corden and boldly ranked her family members in order of their parenting skills. (Spoiler: Kylie was far down on the list.) And now, a recent clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians reveals that she also had some fun trolling Kylie. In a just-released clip, she brilliantly imitated the make-up icon—and she even did her impression for Kylie directly over Facetime.

The episode was one in which all of the Kardashian-Jenners dressed up as each other. Kendall threw on a wavy, pink-ombre wig and lots of blush-colored eyeshadow. While the confessional cameras were shooting her, she got a little maniacal putting on tons of lip color, cracking, “I love over-lining my lips. This is how it all started, literally. I just over-lined my lips and everyone was wondering what I was using.” She keeps the schtick going and ends up covering her mouth in Kylie’s red gloss. She eventually took the product onto her teeth, laughing the whole time and joking, “It feels so fucking good.”

Then, in footage back at the Kardashian house, Kendall gives Kylie a buzz to get her thoughts on the pink wig. “You look cute as Kylie,” her younger sister says approvingly. “It looks amazing.”

Kendall keeps her impression going for just the cameras, even nailing Kylie’s make-up tutorial voice and habit of putting her lip products right on her palm to give viewers a sense of the colors. “This is what it looks like,” Kendall teases at one point, showing off an entire arm covered in gloss. The episode hasn’t dropped yet, so we can’t see what the other Kardashians did, but there’s a very brief glimpse of Kourtney in futuristic sunglasses—we’re guessing she was Kim—and Kris in a fluffy blonde wig that sure looks like Khloe’s ‘do.

Harry Styles Refuses To Tell Kendall Jenner Which Of His Songs Are About Her


James Corden is busy welcoming his first kid into the world, so he had none other than Harry Styles fill in for him on the Late Late Show: Harry Styles. The former One Direction member guided the show pretty seamlessly and even got the Internet talking when he welcomed his rumored ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner to set and filmed a segment of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” a game in which players have to decide between answering tough questions or eating truly disgusting concoctions.

Things got interesting when Jenner read one question that Styles really didn’t want to respond to: When she asked what songs from his debut album were about her, he got super evasive. Jenner took the whole thing in stride and laughed, saying, “I’m dying to know this,” and for a second, it looked like Styles might answer. “So I’d say track…” he started, but then trailed off and grabbed a fork. He briefly turned to the audience and joked in disbelief, “What are we doing?” Eventually, he took a bite of the cod sperm and almost immediately spit it back out.

The two of them joked around a lot, seeming to prove that there’s no bad blood after they sparked relationship rumors in 2016. And they were actually kind of forthcoming when it came to other questions: Jenner listed her siblings in order of best parenting skills (she stressed they were all “amazing,” but then revealed Rob was her number one, followed by Khloe, Kim, Kylie, and Kourtney.) She did chose to drink a salmon smoothie (ick) instead of sharing which supermodel is the most unlikeable and she boldly ate bull penis to avoid telling the world the name of the most surprising celebrity to slide into her DMS.

Styles, meanwhile, spilled that he has in fact watched episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (he used the opportunity to poke fun at the Kardashian-Jenner clan, saying, “It was the one where you’re eating salads in the kitchen and then you all were shouting at each other.”) But when Jenner asked him to rank the albums of his former bandmates, he bit into a giant water scorpion before she could even finish the question. That’s definitely commitment.

Kendall Jenner Now Has an Ombré Hair Color — Photos


Between being a model, a member of the Kardashian-Jenner brood, and a spokesperson for a styling-tool brand, Kendall Jenner‘s hair is pretty much always in the spotlight. So even if she posts an Instagram photo that has nothing to do with her hair, it can steal the show, especially when she’s sporting a look other than her signature glossy, dark-brown style. And such is the case in the series of photos she posted to Instagram on Friday, November 29.

Jenner shared three post-Thanksgiving photos in which she’s enjoying the “coziest weather”—at least Southern California’s version of it—wearing black leggings and a black turtleneck next to a beautiful pool with a view of the mountains. We see her from several angles, but it’s in the very first photo, in which her back is to the camera and she’s arching backward, that it’s apparent Jenner is currently rocking an ombré look. Her roots are her natural dark brown shade, and color shifts to a golden caramel shade toward the ends.

It’s not entirely clear if Jenner visited a colorist to intentionally give her hair color a gradient look or if this is just the natural evolution of couple of quick changes she made earlier in the fall. In September, Jenner surprised everyone by bleaching her hair, walking in London Fashion Week’s Burberry show and Milan Fashion Week’s Versace and Fendi shows with sandy blonde hair—a color we’d never seen on her without the help of a wig. And then, just a few days later, her hair was dyed back to nearly black for the Emmy Awards. And as anyone who’s ever put dark dye over a lighter color can tell you, that dark dye will inevitably fade and let the lighter tones peek through, regardless of if your hair is naturally dark to begin with.

Bur whether Jenner’s current color is an accidental or intentional ombré, it looks fantastic and is sure to send a few fans running to the salon for their own versions of the look.

Kendall Jenner Debuted Bright Blond Hair at London Fashion Week


Jenner certainly had the ability to walk in New York Fashion Week this year, but instead she decided to take it all in as a showgoer. “It’s a lot more mellow to just go,” she told Vogue. “But I won’t lie, today I was missing it. I was watching the girls, and I was like, ‘Damn, I kind of want to walk.’”

One of the models in question she watched was Bella Hadid, who also recently went through a pretty major blond transformation herself. Perhaps she was Kendall’s inspiration for going over to the bright side? Or it could be the rest of the Kar-Jenner fam, who are no strangers to constant hair changes—Kim, Kourtney, and Kylie go blond and back like it’s nothing—who gave Kendall the push to blond. Whatever the reason, be prepared for this specific shade to be everywhere this fall.

Kendall Jenner’s #BottleCapChallenge Video Is Unreal


The #BottleCapChallenge has officially taken over social media—with celebrities and noncelebs alike. Yesterday we thought nobody would top Mariah Carey‘s entry, in which she popped off a bottle top using her magnificent voice, but then Kendall Jenner got involved.

In case you’ve been offline for the past week, the #BottleCapChallenge is basically this summer’s version of the #InMyFeelingsChallenge (which had people across the country hopping out of moving vehicles to dance to the Drake hit). This time around, though, the internet has decided that we should all attempt to remove a bottle cap with our feet and some fancy spin moves.

According to the New York Times, the origins may be tracked to Farabi Davletchin, a tae kwon do champion, who posted his video on June 25.

Jason Statham, who was tagged by Davletchin, was one of the first famous people to get involved. “This thing landed on my head from @johnmayer but will quickly go to a couple of fellas we’ve seen do push ups badly. All yours @guyritchie and @jmoontasri,” he wrote in the caption, accompanied by his impressive video, which has now been viewed over 19 million times.

Soon other celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, Justin Bieber, and Carey were posting their own takes on the challenge.

The degree of difficulty seemed to go up with each passing day. Hailey Bieber, challenged by her husband, used an ATV as an accessory and then nominated her good friend Kendall Jenner, who took it to a whole new level.

Seriously, check out these skills as the supermodel expertly gets the cap to spin off while riding a jet ski in a bikini. “You asked for it @haileybieber,” she wrote it the caption.

We knew Jenner was athletic, but this is an insane level of coordination on display. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if anyone can top it.
