Chrissy Teigen Posts 'Cheer' Parody on Instagram

Hey, Monica Aldama, consider this Chrissy Teigen’s Navarro audition.

Teigen recently took to social media to share a parody she and her assistant made of Netflix’s Cheer, and honestly, the Instagram video is funny enough to land the celeb a coveted spot on the team.

In the hilarious clip, Teigen stretches her splits while her assistant, Christine, does crunches nearby. They both lament their chances of making it on mat (if you know, you know) before name-dropping everyone’s favorite “stunter” from the series, Jerry.

Teigen, like most of us, has grown completely addicted to Netflix’s newest docu-series which follows a cheerleading squad from Corsicana, Texas, as they prepare to win another national title. The sheer talent of the team is enough to get anyone, even cheerleading novices, hooked on the show, but it’s the awe-inspiring stories of each of the members that will have you bawling your eyes out by the time the squad competes in Daytona.

This isn’t the first time Teigen has shared her thoughts on the Internet’s current obsession. Earlier in the week, the cookbook author posted a throwback from her own high school cheerleading days claiming to have “sucked” at the sport (her splits would’ve fooled us).

“Watching cheer on Netflix got me reminiscing about how i sucked at cheerleading almost as much as I sucked at doing my brows,” she captioned a shot of her posing in her red and white uniform, complete with pom poms. “Truly no idea how I made this team. The best part is they claimed there was no JV/varsity but one squad got to cheer for basketball and football and the other (mine) got volleyball and wrestling. I still remember my mat cheers though. Go fight win baby. Go fight win.”

Perhaps Teigen’s video will persuade Aldama, Navarro’s tough but loving coach, to start an all-celebrity squad. Cheering With the Stars, anyone?

Ellen DeGeneres and Milo Ventimiglia Did a Hilarious *Bachelor* Parody For Halloween

Ellen DeGeneres has a pretty strong Halloween game, but she took things up a notch today by dressing up as a Bachelor contestant and staging a full reenactment of the hit dating show. I’m not exaggerating, either: On Wednesday’s episode of Ellen, the comedy powerhouse threw on a silver gown, long blond wig, and dubbed herself “Kelllly D.,” a dental assistant whose only agenda on The Bachelor is to find a man and drink tequila. So, in other words, she has the first impression rose in the bag.

Her suitor, if you’re curious, was none other than Milo Ventimiglia, a.k.a Jack Pearson on This Is Us, a.k.a the Internet’s collective husband. The two shared a super sweet two minutes together than included “Kelllly” making this A+ dental pun: “Would you like me to examine your mouth with my tongue?” FitTea, go ahead and line up a spon-con deal for “Kelllly” because she’s already a Bachelor Nation fan favorite.

She’s also a smart contestant, too. In the off chance that Milo didn’t pick her, she had a backup ready to go: Nick Viall, a Bachelor veteran. However, he decided to kick it with one of “Kelllly’s” competitors in a hot tub instead. Rude! “Kelllly” shouldn’t sweat it, though. I mean, did she see Nick’s moves on Dancing With the Stars? (Kidding.)

Unfortunately, Milo ended up picking another contestant (Rebel Wilson!), so “Kelllly” went home. In a perfectly rational exit interview, she said, “I don’t even like him. I like artichokes, OK? That’s why I’m scared of parakeets.” Yup, I 100 percent feel you, K. We’ve all been there.

This 'SNL' Parody of Arie Luyendyk Jr. From 'The Bachelor' Is Spot On

There are a few things we know after three weeks of watching this season of The Bachelor. First, Arie Luyendyk Jr. has been on a ~ journey ~ when it comes to love: He was on The Bachelorette five years ago, when he got his heart shattered by Emily Maynard. He’s also friends with former Bachelor Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, who are happily married with a baby. And he races cars. Otherwise, the guy is still kind of a mystery, even after hours of watching him watch a dozen women wrestle and crash into each other like bumper cars. Luckily, the season has given SNL plenty of material for its tradition of Bachelor parodies—giving us an almost too realistic impression of Arie and the women competing for his heart along the way.

Arie (played by Alex Moffat) is introduced as “Car Hunk,” who, “depending on the light, is handsome.” He meets all of the female contestants during a cocktail party before a rose ceremony and tries to get to know them. Of course, they each interrupt the conversations, asking, “Sorry, can I steal him for a sec?” The girls rotate in and out of the frame, sitting next to Arie and saying, “Mmm, I like this”—never really bonding with the Bachelor at all. Melissa Villasenor’s impression of short-haired Bekah is also dead-on brilliant.

SNL has done some pretty amazing parody sketches of past Bachelors, including Chris Soles as “Farm Hunk”, Ben Higgins as “Bland Man”, and Nick Viall as “Beard Hunk”. You might as well pull up a chair now, because they’re all gold.
