Blake Lively Jokes About All of Ryan Reynolds's Trolling: “It's Aggravating”

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are known for trolling each other on social media. Whether she’s posting funny photos of him on his birthday or vice versa, this very hot couple clearly has a cheeky sense of humor.

Lively was finally asked about their penchant for trolling in a new interview for Good Morning America. (She was on promoting her new movie, The Rhythm Section, which hits theaters this Friday, January 31.) When the hosts brought up photos Reynolds posted for Lively’s birthday last August—in which she’s either slightly cropped out or making a funny face—she had the greatest response.

“It’s alarming to me how many of these photos he found, though, where I look like this,” she said, jokingly. “What is happening? But he looks handsome in all of them. I really gotta work on my photo face.”

“It’s aggravating, isn’t it?” host Robin Roberts asked Lively, to which she agreed, “It is aggravating.”

Of course, this is all in good fun. Lively hilariously quipped that she’s “working on” her next trolling against Reynolds. “I gotta dig something up.” Watch the interview clip for yourself, above.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have three daughters together; their youngest was born last summer. One key to making their family work, Lively says, is she and her husband don’t work at the same time.

“I admire people who find that what fulfills them is their art or their work, but what fulfills both me and my husband is our family,” she told Glamour in 2017. “Knowing that, everything else comes second. We’ve each given up stuff we loved in order to not work at the same time. I’m fortunate to be in a place now where I get to find the material—a book or script—early and develop it. So I know ahead of time that I’m going to be working on this job at this time. And we can plan around it.”

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Have a Long, Hilarious History of Trolling Each Other

Instagram

February 2018: The V-Day shenanigans continued with this “glue” cake Reynolds made for Lively. It looks delicious.

April 2018: Two months later Lively decided to praise the back of her head in a photo with Reynolds at the center. I’d 10/10 do the same if my braid looked this good.

April 2018: Ryan Reynolds Uses Trolling to Shut Down Break-Up Rumors, Part 1

April 2018: Ryan Reynolds Uses Trolling to Shut Down Break-Up Rumors, Part 2

May 2018: The trailer for Lively’s new film A Simple Favor drops. It’s confusing, so Reynolds tweets Lively and asks what the hell’s going on. Instead of giving an answer, she trolls, naturally.

May 2018: “Is the extra distance between you supposed to convince me that you DON’T love him more than me?? Nice try,” Lively commented on this photo of Hugh Jackman and Reynolds. What Lively doesn’t know is Jackman and Reynolds have the space between them so I can pop in the middle.

June 2018: In perhaps their funniest case of trolling yet, Lively and Reynolds have a back-and-forth about his fictional twin brother Gordon. I want a husband to be witty with on Instagram! Until that time comes, though, at least I have these two.

June 2018: Lively calls her Simple Favor costar Anna Kendrick the “hotter, female(r)” version of her husband, and jokes about cheating on him. Reynolds replies in good, hilarious spirits.

August 2019: In honor of Lively’s birthday, Reynolds pulled off a master troll by posting a series of unflattering photos of the b-day girl. “Happy Birthday, @blakelively,” he wrote alongside images that show her blinking, making funny faces, and looking generally unprepared.

September 2019: Lively strikes back by sharing a hilarious screenshot from her Instagram photo app of Reynolds in a goofy-looking hat shaped like a chicken. Her image appears next to it, looking grave and unamused. She published it on her Instagram Stories.

Instead of Trolling Ryan Reynolds on His Birthday, Blake Lively Did This

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds took a break from their usual Instagram trolling for a good cause: to get out the vote.

In honor of Reynolds’s birthday, on Tuesday (October 23), Lively posted a photo to her feed of her and Reynolds sending in their own ballots ahead of the November 6 midterm elections. “Happy Birthday to 2018’s Sexiest Voter Alive @vancityreynolds #justvoted ??#absenteeballot party!” she captioned the shot, which showed the lovebirds standing in front of a bunch of multicolored balloons. The A Simple Favor star also posted a photo to her Story of the two of them in their “birthday voting limelight,” and asked her followers whether they’d be voting absentee or in person this season.

Reynolds posted a similar shot to his own feed, writing, “What a birthday! I just smoked a huge bowl of early voting.”

Reynolds and Lively aren’t the only A-listers commemorating big milestones by getting out the vote. On Monday night, Amy Schumer directed her followers to journalist Jessica Yellin’s page, where she shared her voting recommendations alongside the news that she’s expecting her first child. And in recent weeks, Taylor Swift has become more politically active than ever on social media, first by sharing her support of Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper, and then by posting countless photos to her Story celebrating her fans who have opted to vote early. Considering Swift’s first post reportedly may have contributed to a 65,000-person increase in voter registration after just 24 hours, clearly, these types of posts really can make an impact.

Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse Just Beat the 'Riverdale' Cast at Their Own Trolling Game

Possiblymaybebut-most-likely-definitely couple Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are at it again with the Instagram PDA, this time with Reinhart posting a shirtless photo of Sprouse with the caption, “I hope you don’t mind.”

The public record has shown that this is usually the part when one of their Riverdale co-stars swoops in to brilliantly troll the two of them with a sarcastic comment or question about their relationship status—but this time, Sprouse beat them to the punch. He quickly responded to Reinhart’s photo by writing, “Are you guys dating?”

Well done, Sprouse. This is almost as good as the time his co-stars Casey Cott and KJ Apa recreated his birthday tribute to Reinhart by using a hilarious shirtless ‘gram of Apa and Sprouse’s same caption: “Both the birthday and my gift. My little muse, have a good day my love.”

Or the time Camila Mendes dug up a meme from the movie Ghost that read, “when you third wheel so much you basically become part of the relationship,” and captioned it, “@lilireinhart @colesprouse we’re such a cute couple.”

While Reinhart and Sprouse have never actually told the world they’re dating, the relationship has been pretty much confirmed through all of their social media flirting and their recent appearance together at the Met Gala. Still, Reinhart opened up on Tumblr about wanting to keep her private life away from so much mindless scrutiny.

“It’s horrifying how invested some people are in my love life. Emphasis on ‘my.’ It is mine. It is private,” she wrote. “If a stranger’s love life is causing you anger, frustration or anxiety…please reevaluate your priorities.”

It looks like the Riverdale cast hasn’t jumped in on Sprouse’s latest Instagram hijinks, but if we know anything about them, it’s pretty likely they’ll come up with some hilarious comebacks. Sprouse may have won this round, but we’ll just have to see who is quickest on the trolling draw next time around.

Chrissy Teigen Has a Very Long, Hilarious History of Trolling John Legend

Chrissy Teigen is the queen of the Twitter clap-back, but her finest work might be her John Legend trolls. Teigen is a pro at throwing all kinds of shade at her singer husband, from innocent to the most savage. Her comments are widely-reported on, and Twitter lives for every time Teigen dishes out a (harmless) jab. It’s pretty obvious that Legend has a sense of humor about it, too; I wouldn’t be surprised if these two laugh at how big of a deal the Internet makes their social media interactions.

Teigen’s disses date back to 2012, and they’ve been steady and life-giving since then. Below, a quick-and-dirty timeline of her funny quips, in chronological order.

These six cheeky posts are great table-setters.

Her Twitter trolling dates back years ago, too. Take this tweet from August 2014, for example, about sending nudes.

Or this one about her fool-proof plan for making sure Legend doesn’t marry anyone else.

This Teigen tweet about Legend’s 2014 Grammy nominations was seriously A+.

And so are these three posts, where the shade is low-key but still great.

Things, of course, escalated from there. Trolling tweets also involving One Direction quickly popped up.

There was this joke Teigen made shortly after giving birth to her first child, Luna.

Not to mention back-and-forth shade sessions.

And subtle shut-downs.

Also, political jabs.

There’ve been some straight-up savage moments.

But mostly just shut-downs.

In “retaliation” of Legend dancing with a woman at one of his concerts, Teigen asked a complete stranger to get a lower-back tattoo with her—ya know, as one does.

The tattoo incident may also explain this tweet.

It was honestly epic when Teigen roasted Legend in September 2017 for not answering her calls during an earthquake.

The next month, Legend serenaded Teigen with a singing post, but she shut him down because he apparently didn’t answer her FaceTime.

And then, there was last November, when Legend uploaded a photo of Teigen for her birthday but she was having none of it. “How about a hi-res,” she wrote in the comments in reference to the fact the photo Legend picked was LQ. A few weeks later, news that Legend would be playing Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar was too good for Teigen to ignore. (Her tweets about the actual broadcast were just as great.)

In early 2018, Teigen grilled Legend for using her phone chargers, and social media went nuts.

She also shaded him about SpongeBob Squarepants, naturally.

Later that spring, after she and Legend welcomed their baby, Miles, Teigen used Twitter as a platform for some (innocent) husband-bashing.

Not long after, she shaded him for not having as many Instagram followers as her.

Teigen’s Father’s Day tribute to Legend was three parts sweet, one part salty.

There have been more Arthur jokes, obviously.

Seriously. So many.

We leave you with this tweet from March 2018, which sums up Teigen’s history of trolling Legend better than words can.

Rihanna Responded to Memes of Her Arguing with Her Boyfriend By Trolling Us All

The internet should know by now, Rihanna is the reigning queen of…well, everything. That especially includes memes, which Rihanna has been the subject of many times before—including one circulated within the past 24 hours centered around a series of photos of Rihanna and her boyfriend Hassan Jameel engaged in what many assumed was a fight. The joke’s on everyone else, though, because Rihanna responded by trolling us all.

BadGalRiRi posted a photo on Instagram of a female lion roaring a male lion into submission in a corner, a winking nod to the photos of her raising her hand while talking to Jameel as he leaned away from her. The caption? “When u think u know more bout soccer ??? #worldcup2018.”

Whether or not Rihanna and Jameel were arguing about soccer, Rihanna is an undisputed World Cup connoisseur. The last one, in 2014, she cheered on Germany from the sidelines in Brazil, in between hanging out with the team, flashing her bra when they beat Argentina, and actually holding the team’s trophy, which, no, is not a thing that normal celebrities get to do.

Rihanna actually broke FIFIA protocol by holding the trophy—not to mention kissing it and taking selfies with it—as only the winners and heads of state are allowed to hold them, according to Pulse. But, because she’s Rihanna, no consequences ever materialized. She wasn’t the only one who did, though, as The Daily Mail also published pictures of Sami Khedira’s girlfriend Lena Gercke hugging it.

As for her relationship with Jameel, Rihanna confirmed that she was in a relationship back in May, telling Vogue, “I used to feel guilty about taking personal time, but I also think I never met someone who was worth it before.” While she didn’t confirm her boyfriend’s identity, she has been linked to Jameel since June of 2017. That month they were spotted kissing in Ibiza, where they were later photographed on a subsequent date. Last month, though, it was rumored that they had broken up because Rihanna “gets tired of men sometimes.”

True or not, Rihanna has admitted how exhausting relationships can be before, telling British Vogue in 2011, “I mean it is nice being single in one way, because a relationship can feel like a chore, and that’s not good. That’s not what I need.” Rihanna needs all of the energy she can get right now, at least until this Sunday, when the final World Cup game between France and Croatia airs.
