Chrissy Teigen Had the Best Response to People Body-Shaming Her New Bathing Suit Video

Many things in life have changed lately, but not Chrissy Teigen’s online presence. Whether she’s talking about life at home with John Legend and their two children, Luna and Miles, or confronting body-shamers online, the Cravings author always keeps it real. And what happened on April 26 is no exception.

That’s when Teigen posted a video of herself in a black bathing suit and joked, “Don’t get too trapped,” referencing the fine online art of posting thirst trap images. But the world being what it is, some of the responses were less than kind about her body. “Shaped like sponge bob lol,” one person tweeted. Another wrote, “Boobs are sagging.”

Some people seemed to think she shouldn’t be posting bathing suit shots at all because…she’s married? “Didn’t know you were a porn star. Yuck. Is this how you want to be seen? I bet hubby loves it but please leave it for him only,” one person commented.

Thankfully, many of her fans came to Teigen’s defense and started calling out the harsh commenters. Then, in true Teigen style, she just went ahead and took matters into her own hands. “Everyone used to….surgically enhanced curves. I’ve been a square my whole life and let me tell you, it’s paid off nicely in many ways!” she quote-tweeted, and added, “Imagine if one day I showed up with hips and an ass. Ooooo you guys would be pissed then too! I’m happy, John’s happy, we all happy and doing a-okay!”

Jameela Jamil chimed in, writing, “I loved the video. Didn’t see a shape. Just saw fire” to which Teigen responded, “Thank u 🙁 I’ve gotten used to my right angle bod, you’d think people have seen it enough that it doesn’t shock them anymore but nope lol.” The rest of the replies were also filled with lots of positivity.

We love you just as you are, Chrissy Teigen. Please never change.

Chrissy Teigen Has Thoughts About People Calling the Coronavirus Test ‘Invasive’

We’re living through strange times in America, but that hasn’t stopped Chrissy Teigen from being her wonderfully authentic self on social media—from showing up to husband John Legend’s Instagram Live concert in a towel to sharing some real talk about childbirth.

Teigen took umbrage with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence talking about the discomfort they felt during their own coronavirus tests, which involve swabbing inside the nostrils. “[It’s] not something I want to do every day, I can tell you that,” Trump told reporters last week. “It’s a little bit of — good doctors in the White House, but it’s a test. It’s a test, it’s a medical test,” he continued. “Nothing pleasant about it.” Pence and his wife, Karen, were also recently tested. The VP described the test as “kind of invasive” and “not comfortable.”

“My vagina was ripped to my asshole giving birth to Luna. I had a vagasshole. fuck your swab pain,” Teigen tweeted in response to a tweet about Trump. “They had to put a garbage bag at the end of the bed to collect my blood before stiching [sic] me up, where I then had to pee using a water bottle as a pain fountain for 3 months. so yeah. the swab, I bet it’s super rough.”

Lots of other moms started to weigh in on social media, too.

“Do men have a low pain threshold or what? Mike Pence on the test: ‘It was kind of a pinch. It was kind of invasive. But we were grateful for the support.’ I pushed a 10 lbs baby out of my vagina…” Shannon Watts of Moms Demand Action tweeted.

“I was in labor with my first kid for 52 hours. 52. Hours. Of. Labor. Y’all can all manage a nasal swab for 30 seconds,” another woman wrote.

It seems the moms of America have spoken.

Of Course Chrissy Teigen Had the Best Reactions During John Legend's Live-Stream Concert

To entertain people stuck at home practicing social distancing as a coronavirus precaution, John Legend decided to perform a free, live-stream concert on Instagram. And, of course, Chrissy Teigen had the best reactions during it.

For context: Legend is one of several artists, including Pink and Chris Martin, who are doing this for their fans. But those singers don’t have Chrissy Teigen sitting behind them while they’re performing, drinking wine and making incredible faces.

Fans captured just a few of Teigen’s reactions during the concert and posted them to social media. “@chrissyteigen during @johnlegend’s live concert is a mood,” one person tweeted, alongside a pic of Teigen drinking wine and looking unimpressed. Another fan captured a clip of CT pouring herself a generous glass of wine, which she says was for both her and Legend (but if I were her, that glass would be just for me).

Check out some more A+ Teigen reactions for yourself, below:

Legend announced on March 16 that he’d be playing a show on IG the next day. “My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together,” he tweeted.

Teigen then posted, “I’ll be there!! because I literally have no choice,” to which Legend replied, “Chrissy Teigen has confirmed that she too will be there. Who knows what awesomeness and hilarity will come from her presence!? Tune in to my Instagram Live at 1pm pacific/4pm eastern/do the math for the other time zones please. See you soon.”

She certainly did bring the “awesomeness and hilarity,” as Legend so aptly put it. Honestly, if my future doesn’t include sitting atop a piano pouring wine as my EGOT-winning husband sings to his millions of fans, then what’s the point?

Chrissy Teigen Reveals She Got Breast Implants When She Was 20

Chrissy Teigen shares so much of her life that you might think you know everything about her—but you’d be wrong.

In a new interview with Glamour UK, Teigen revealed for the first time that she got breast implants when she was younger. Teigen, of course, rose to fame as a swimsuit model, and that job can come with its own specific pressures about body image.“Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,” she said. “It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”

In true Teigen fashion, she kept the conversation extremely real after the revelation. “Honestly, I kept them the same cup size. I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer,” she said. “I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every 10 years. But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.’”

Teigen’s relationship with her weight and her body image has evolved, too, after having her two children, Luna and Miles, with husband, John Legend. “I used to weigh myself every morning, afternoon and night,” she told the magazine. “I knew what the scales would say after each meal. I did that for eight years and had this one weight I wanted to be at. That changed with Luna, and really changed with Miles, where it took me a year to be comfortable with my new normal number.”

As we said, this is far from the first time, Teigen has gotten extremely personal in an interview.s Back in 2017, she opened up to Glamour about her struggle with postpartum depression after giving birth to Luna in an emotional essay. “I also just didn’t think it could happen to me. I have a great life. I have all the help I could need: John, my mother (who lives with us), a nanny,” she wrote. “But postpartum does not discriminate. I couldn’t control it. And that’s part of the reason it took me so long to speak up: I felt selfish, icky, and weird saying aloud that I’m struggling. Sometimes I still do.”

“I’m speaking up now because I want people to know it can happen to anybody and I don’t want people who have it to feel embarrassed or to feel alone,” she continued. “I also don’t want to pretend like I know everything about postpartum depression, because it can be different for everybody. But one thing I do know is that—for me—just merely being open about it helps.”

When Teigen was honored as a Glamour Women of the Year in 2018, it was due, in part, to her openness and authenticity—even when that means uncertainty. “I still don’t know my exact job title,” she told us. “I have no idea what is going to happen six months from now. I don’t know anything. But maybe that’s the way it works for a lot of people. And I’m OK with that.”

It’s so refreshing to hear someone as famous as Chrissy Teigen talk about issues so many women can relate to. We hope she never stops sharing whatever pieces of herself she’s comfortable with.

Chrissy Teigen Had the Best Response to a Troll Who Accused Her of Photoshopping Her Butt

At this point, Instagram users have to know that coming for Chrissy Teigen in her comments is not going to end well for them. Unfortunately, there are still fans out there who haven’t received the memo. Either that or they’re hoping to be called out by the supermodel, which isn’t a good look.

On February 6, Teigen posted a pic in a pair of…interesting leggings that were sent to her house as a gift:

As you can see, images of Teigen’s very famous husband, John Legend, are affixed to both cheeks and surrounded by hearts. “we get…really random stuff sent to the house,” Teigen captioned the photo. Really random stuff, indeed. Perhaps the sender was inspired by those Sexiest Man Alive onesies the model mom had made in honor of her husband’s latest accomplishment?

Anyway, what should have been just a silly moment on the ‘gram went sour when the Instagram account @fvcksympathy replied, “photoshopped. Why didn’t it [Teigen’s butt] look like that when John was in the jacuzzi, like wth is that ??” At least their username is accurate.

For context, the user is likely referring to a paparazzi photo from 2019 that seems to show Legend looking disappointedly at his wife’s derriere in a jacuzzi (which probably wasn’t even the case). At the time, Teigen hit back at body-shamers by tweeting, “everyone so used to ass shots and photoshopped instagrams. I’ve had no ass forever—is this new news to some of you?”

Teigen used the same energy to reply to her latest troll. “Maybe you’ve just never seen a girl in this position before but it’s good for looking like you have an ass,” she wrote back.

Just this past December, Teigen went up against another rude fan who told her to “cover up” after the mother of two posted a sweet pic with her daughter, Luna, that just so happened to feature some side boob. “Your daughter is right there,” the user protested.

“She sucked it for months and doesn’t mind it much,” Teigen shot back.

Will these ridiculous attacks against Chrissy Teigen ever cease? Who knows. One thing is for sure: she’s never going to take them lying down.

Chrissy Teigen Posts 'Cheer' Parody on Instagram

Hey, Monica Aldama, consider this Chrissy Teigen’s Navarro audition.

Teigen recently took to social media to share a parody she and her assistant made of Netflix’s Cheer, and honestly, the Instagram video is funny enough to land the celeb a coveted spot on the team.

In the hilarious clip, Teigen stretches her splits while her assistant, Christine, does crunches nearby. They both lament their chances of making it on mat (if you know, you know) before name-dropping everyone’s favorite “stunter” from the series, Jerry.

Teigen, like most of us, has grown completely addicted to Netflix’s newest docu-series which follows a cheerleading squad from Corsicana, Texas, as they prepare to win another national title. The sheer talent of the team is enough to get anyone, even cheerleading novices, hooked on the show, but it’s the awe-inspiring stories of each of the members that will have you bawling your eyes out by the time the squad competes in Daytona.

This isn’t the first time Teigen has shared her thoughts on the Internet’s current obsession. Earlier in the week, the cookbook author posted a throwback from her own high school cheerleading days claiming to have “sucked” at the sport (her splits would’ve fooled us).

“Watching cheer on Netflix got me reminiscing about how i sucked at cheerleading almost as much as I sucked at doing my brows,” she captioned a shot of her posing in her red and white uniform, complete with pom poms. “Truly no idea how I made this team. The best part is they claimed there was no JV/varsity but one squad got to cheer for basketball and football and the other (mine) got volleyball and wrestling. I still remember my mat cheers though. Go fight win baby. Go fight win.”

Perhaps Teigen’s video will persuade Aldama, Navarro’s tough but loving coach, to start an all-celebrity squad. Cheering With the Stars, anyone?
