People have been semi-certain for a while that Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are dating, but the two officially confirmed the rumors on Friday night (June 14) via—what else?—an Instagram. They reportedly met on the set of the film Her Smell, which was released in April, and have since been snapped kissing in London. Benson’s also been spotted wearing a necklace with “A” and “C” on it and spent Delevingne’s birthday with her. But despite a comment in September by Benson on a ‘gram of Delevingne’s, which seemed to confirm the two were dating (Benson later said she was hacked), there’s been no official word on their status until now.
The Instagram was posted to Delevingne’s account, and it’s basically them making out. Delevingne captioned the ‘gram: “#PRIDE ?❤️??❤️?” and tagged Benson in it.
Benson left a comment of her own: three hearts, which makes it about as official as possible.

The couple’s proud Instagram comes in the wake of a homophobic comment left on a ‘gram of Benson’s by a troll in late April. “Ashley I know you are here,” they wrote, according to BuzzFeed. “I’m serious, you need to stay away from that devil and never go back. I’m sure many strong, handsome, religious man [sic] would take you back in a heartbeat. You are not like this. You aren’t gay. You love men, and you need one.”
Benson and Delevingne promptly clapped back, of course: “You need to mind your own business,” Benson wrote, according to Buzzfeed. “Stop making things up.”
Princess Charlotte turns 4 years old on May 2, and to celebrate Kensington Palace shared three new photos of her taken by her mother, Kate Middleton
They’re adorable, obviously—and Princess Charlotte is turning lewks in them. In one photo, she’s wearing a floral blue dress with navy shoes and in two of them she has on a grey cardigan and plaid skirt. This is 100 percent what Blair Waldorf wore as a child, and I’m living for Middleton’s fashion inspiration.
“Happy Birthday Princess Charlotte,” Kensington Palace posted to Instagram on Wednesday night, May 1. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday. The photographs were taken in April by The Duchess at Kensington Palace and at their home in Norfolk.”
Check out the cute pics for yourself, below.
Her hair bow game is seriously on point.
As are her flower-catching skills.
We stan the new queen of sitting on fences in open fields.
Princess Charlotte‘s photos come just a few days after Kensington Palace shared new photos of her younger brother, Prince Louis, in honor of his first 1st birthday. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share these new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow,” a statement from KP’s Instagram reads. “The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”
He, too, was dressed to the nines. I’m living for this color scheme especially:
It’s only a matter of time before Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Prince George welcome their new cousin, Baby Sussex. Meghan Markle is reportedly due in early May, and her mother, Doria Ragland, has already flown in for the birth. Unfortunately, we may not see cute photos like this of Baby Sussex for a while: Markle and Prince Harry are opting to celebrate their newborn privately before sharing images with the world.
Taylor Swift‘s new era is officially here. The pop singer just announced the first single from her upcoming seventh album. It’s called “ME!,” and, interestingly, it features Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco. Swift revealed on Instagram that both the song and music video for “ME!” will drop at midnight on Friday, April 26.
She’ll be answering some questions ahead of the song and video’s reveal on YouTube, which you’ll be able to watch in the video below:

The ramp-up to this song has been monstrous. Swift switched up her Instagram aesthetic in February, leading fans to believe new music was on the way. Of course, from this birthed several theories about her next chapter. Palm trees, butterflies, and mermaids were all common motifs in the images she was posting, and their significance was a mystery. Some thought the bubbly new vibe just meant Swift’s music would be lighter and happier than 2017’s Reputation. Others posited the butterfly theme hinted at some kind of metamorphosis, either visually or sonically.
Swift didn’t do much to bolster or deny the theories until Thursday, April 25, when she showed up at a butterfly mural in Nashville that many speculated was about her music. Centered on this mural was the word “Me!”
“So… @kelseymontagueart [the mural artist] helped me pull off the best surprise clue reveal today in Nashville!!” Swift posted to Instagram about the stunt. “Thank you to everyone who showed up, I’ve never been more proud of your FBI level detective skills.”
“ME!” first gained traction a few months ago when Swift randomly capitalized it in one of her Instagram captions. She also capitalized the words “Begin” and “Another,” in other posts, so it’s safe to say they’ll hold some value later down the line.
Taylor Swift originally hinted at new music at the American Music Awards in October 2018 when she said, “I always look at albums as chapters of my life, so to the fans I’m so happy you liked this one. But I have to be really honest with you about something: I’m even more excited about the next chapter.”
Last fall, Lifetime debuted an absolutely bonkers show called You. It centers on Joe (Penn Badgley, a.k.a. Dan Humphrey) a bookstore clerk who forms an unhealthy obsession with an aspiring writer named Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Well, unhealthy is a bit of an understatement: He goes full-speed Fatal Attraction on Beck, stalking her every move, manipulating her friends, and—spoiler alert—murdering people in her inner circle. If you thought Dan Humphrey was creepy on Gossip Girl, just wait until you see Joe. At least Dan didn’t awkwardly stand outside Serena’s apartment and watch her have sex with someone else. (Yup, Joe does this to Beck in first episode of You, and it’s just as wild as it sounds.)
Interestingly, though, You didn’t take off when it premiered back in September. The show’s ratings were so disappointing, in fact, that Lifetime passed it over to Netflix for season two. The streaming giant made the first season available for streaming in late December, and it’s caught on like wildfire. Better late than never, am I right?
“[You] just feels like a really great story to tell with the Netflix model. It was always built to be extremely binge-able,” You‘s co-showrunner Sera Gamble told Vulture in December.
The insanely fast rate Netflix users have consumed You‘s first season is proof of that. It feels like thousands of people have already ripped through all 10 episodes, because the memes are here—and they’re hilarious.
Below, check out a few, very shook tweets from people who are just now discovering You.
It’s unclear when season two of You will debut, but you’ll have no problem catching up. Trust me: Once you start watching, you won’t be able to stop.Related Stories:
Since I’m a dress addict living in a state with seasons, black tights are my lifeline in the winter months, allowing me to wear my beloved limb-baring pieces year-round. I was never precious about where I got my tights. (To me, they are a boring means to an end—not so much a part of my look, more like a necessary layer that didn’t command any attention.) Plus, finding the best black tights in the market didn’t feel like a totally urgent task. I just needed any ones that, ideally, didn’t rip on the first wear.
In fact, I had the one pair that I’d owned for an indefinite amount of time, from a brand I’d definitely forgotten, that I always reached for—until one faithful morning I noticed a thigh-length run on one leg. For some reason, that got to me: I was running late, I was already half dressed, and I couldn’t bear the thought of wearing…pants. So I did what anyone on a time crunch in need of a quick fix to a problem would: I went to the nearest pharmacy chain.
Anyone who’s been to a local drugstore has noticed the miscellaneous undergarments section, where you can pick up stockings and undershirts before grabbing some hair ties and shampoo. I’d walked past it a million times at my neighborhood Walgreens—and this time the $5.99 opaque tights on the display called my name.
I bought the first and only pair I saw in my size: West Loop Sheer-to-Waist Opaque Tights. I thought of it as a band-aid solution to my timely problem—little did I know, the actual best black tights I’d ever own had been sitting next to the half-off scrunchies this entire time.

There weren’t any fireworks or foot pops. It was only when I’d worn them for a week straight that I realized what an incredible discovery I’d made. No joke, these tights stood up against back-to-back wears without tearing, losing shape, or fading. (Laundry is expensive, OK?) The waistband doesn’t pinch my stomach like the so-called control-top pairs I’d tried before, and they sit at my natural waist, so I don’t have to pull them up over my stomach to my rib cage for a smooth line. Also, they’re $5.99—at my usual go-to stores, tights start at $19.50 (J.Crew) and can go all the way up to $285 (Wolford).
But the best part of this whole saga was realizing that a solution to my fashion #problems was right around the corner. Rip my tights on a sharp desk corner at work? I can hop over to the nearest drugstore. Scratched by the dog I couldn’t resist petting? There’s a replacement pair one block away, all for less than a breakfast sandwich. When I leave New York City to visit family in other states over the holidays, I don’t have to worry about what happens if I forget to pack tights—there are Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aids everywhere.
When I reach the point in my life when I want to spend money on name-brand tights, I’ll consider setting change aside for an extra-special pair with a silk tag. For that easy, basic pair I’ll wear every winter until then, these will do the trick.

The wackiest display of the holiday cheer isn’t happening on the Hallmark Channel or Netflix’s original movie selection this year. Rather, you can find it in an aisle of your local Target. You know ugly sweaters are A Thing—but in 2018 the retailer is leveling up, offering a line of ugly sweaterdresses just in time for holiday parties. And they’re really something.
Target’s collection of festive knits has everything: a toy soldier, a snowman’s face, and even a two-tone blue menorah—all rendered into long-sleeve, short-skirted silhouettes. Each one takes the charm of an ugly holiday sweater and multiplies it by 10, just by having that much more room to show your seasonal spirit. And because they’re all under $50, you can justify onetime usage (or buying multiples, because why not?).
If your office, friend group, or family is having an ugly-holiday-sweater competition, these dresses are likely to win first place. Check out Target’s new riff on a seasonal favorite, ahead.
