Camila Cabello Filmed Her Mom Cutting Her Hair

We’re at that point in self isolation where people are starting to make hasty decisions about their hair. In the case of Camila Cabello, that means asking your mom to cut your overgrown bangs.

When you’re a famous pop star, you then document the entire process for all of your fans, of course—which is exactly what Cabello did on her Instagram Stories. We appreciate that she acknowledged attempting to do this herself would be a very bad idea. “This is what it’s come to. The bangs are too long…can’t go outside,” she said in the video. “I’m going to have to trust this woman with my bangs because I can’t trust myself.” She says she chose poorly in middle school to terrible results: “In seventh grade, I used to cut my own bangs, and they looked like mountains.

“I’ve been seeing a lot of posts warning people not to do this, let’s see how it turns out. Right now, I look like Snape [from Harry Potter],” she said.

Enter her mom, Sinuhe Estrabao, to save the day. Cabello gave hilarious commentary throughout the process as her mom trimmed her wet hair. The initial results were “not great” according to the singer, since her mom didn’t follow her directions to angle her bangs to blend the longer ends with the rest of her hair near her temples. Instead, Cabello said, she just cut straight across her forehead. “She just horizontal-lined that shit,” she said, teasing her mom. “So, we’ll see how I look.”

Also, their lighthearted bickering will likely remind you of many a conversation with your own mom. And the final result? “It actually ended up looking not that bad,” Cabello said.

This 'Bored' Sports Broadcaster Filmed A Play-By-Play of His Dogs Racing to Eat Their Dinner and It's Brilliant

People are finding all sorts of interesting ways to stay busy while social distancing, but this sports broadcaster’s play-by-play of his pups racing to eat their food is exactly what we all need right now.

Though many sporting events have been canceled and postponed across the world due to the coronavirus pandemic—including the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games—BBC sports broadcaster Andrew Cotter found a new way to keep doing what he loves.

The clip, which was posted to Twitter on Friday, March 27, shows his two Labradors, Mabel and Olive, racing to see who can finish off a bowl of dog food the quickest. However, it was Cotter’s colorful commentary that made the footage so brilliant.

“I was bored,” Cotter captioned the recording, which has garnered over five million views in just 24 hours.

In the video, he put all his skill and experience to good use by describing his dogs’ mealtime as though it was a competition. It featured all the elements of a real sporting event and there was even a sassy person in the “crowd” telling him to “get on with it” at the beginning of the race.

“You can see the contrast in styles. Mabel’s heavy tail use. Happy to be alive. Everything’s amazing. Olive more steady, wasting little energy,” Cotter commented before delivering the best line of the video, “Focused, relentless, tasting absolutely nothing.”

You can watch the video for yourself below:

In the end, the winner was Olive, who finished her bowl first. “What a final we’ve had here. Great rivals, but great friends,” Cotter concluded. “Join us again tomorrow live coverage of a snooze on the sofa.”

The clip has been so well received online that people are urging Cotter to release a sequel.

They’ve also been thanking him for providing them with this feel-good content.

It’s safe to say people are obsessed. Here’s hoping there are more funny dog videos like this one to come from Cotter. We deserve it.

Gal Gadot, Natalie Portman, and a Bunch of Other Celebs Filmed Themselves Singing ‘Imagine’

“Imagine all the people, living for today.”

Those are famous lyrics from John Lennon’s hit song “Imagine”—and thanks to Gal Gadot, you can now see a bunch of celebrities singing it online in the hope of bringing people together during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Day six in self-quarantine, and I gotta say these past few days got me feeling philosophical,” Gadot says in the beginning of the video posted to her Instagram. “You know, this virus has affected the entire world, everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from, we’re all in this together.” She then mentions a video she saw of an Italian man playing “Imagine” on his trumpet from his balcony to all the other people inside their homes, and how there was something “so powerful and pure” about it.

And that inspiration brought us this new video, featuring stars like Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Zoë Kravitz, Sarah Silverman, Jimmy Fallon, James Marsden, Will Ferrell, Cara Delevingne, Norah Jones, Kristen Wiig, Lynda Carter (the OG Wonder Woman), Jamie Dornan, Ashley Benson, Gal Gadot, and more singing “Imagine.”

Obviously, the celebrities’ hearts are in the right place as they try to keep “entertaining” while all of our individual worlds get a little smaller by the day. But the response on social media was mixed, to say the least. “You are such a blessing to the world❤️,” one fan commented on Gadot’s post. “This is powerful❤️,” another wrote.

Many called on the rich and famous to use their money to donate to causes in need at the moment. “I’m somehow not terribly inspired by rich people singing ‘Imagine no possessions’ from their million-dollar mansions,” one person tweeted.

Others just found the video incredibly awkward to view. “Please watch this and then tell me how far you got before turning it off (for me it was sia, although i’m not even sure it was sia),” writer Tyler Coates tweeted.

However you feel about the “Imagine” video, I think we all know that the internet is only going to get weirder as social distancing and isolation continue. And that’s going to be fun, right? Right?!

This Pic of the Friends Cast the Night Before They Filmed the Finale Will Make You Emotional

Friends may be gone from Netflix, but it still holds a Central Perk-sized place in our hearts forevermore.

The show will be streaming again soon enough when HBO Max launches later this year, but until then we have some of the cast out here on Instagram sharing behind-the-scenes memories and reunion dinners.

The latest throwback comes from Courteney Cox, who posted a photo to commemorate the 16th anniversary of final episode taping. (It happened on January 23, 2004.) She also shared a shot of the final script’s cover. “‘The Last Supper’ before taping ‘The Last One’ on Jan. 23, 2004. #tbt #friends,” Cox wrote in the caption. All six main cast members—Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer—are present, along with copious amounts of food and sodas.

Kudrow wrote in the comments section, “Awwww???,” while Aniston used emojis to express her feelings with a simple, “???.” Jennifer Meyer, the jewelry designer and a close friend of Aniston and Cox, spoke for all Friends fans when she commented, “Stop teasing us and make this shit happen again @courteneycoxofficial @jenniferaniston thx ?.”

A Friends reunion show (of the non-scripted variety) has been in the works at HBO Max with interest from the entire cast. “We would love for there to be something,” she told Ellen DeGeneres in 2019. “But we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.” Unfortunately, though, the project recently hit a snag. Last week, HBO Max chief creative officer Kevin Reilly told the Television Critics Association, according to Deadline, “There is interest all around and yet we can’t get the interests all alighted to push the button on it.” For now, he called the reunion “just a maybe.”

Consider all of our fingers crossed. In the meantime, we have Instagram posts like Cox’s to keep us warm.

Taylor Swift Cooked Dinner for Tiffany Haddish After They Filmed 'Saturday Night Live' Together

Tiffany Haddish and Taylor Swift’s Saturday Night Live episode was epic for several reasons. First and foremost, it made history: Haddish was the first non-cast black female to ever host the show. (Crazy, right? Talk about long overdue.) The evening also featured Swift’s first live performances from her Reputation era; she performed two of her singles, “Call It What You Want” and “Ready for It” In short, it was a pretty phenomenal night.

But arguably the greatest thing about it happened off-camera: Haddish and Swift became friends after doing the show together. In fact, Swift liked Haddish so much that she invited her to a potluck dinner party—and even agreed to make Haddish’s favorite dishes.

“Taylor was like, ‘Tiffany, oh my God, I like you. We ‘gotta hang out,'” Haddish told Ellen DeGeneres on her show. “And I was like, ‘Yes, girl. We ‘gotta hang out girl. Let’s hang out!’ I told her, ‘If I come over, you ‘gotta make me some barbecue chicken, some potato salad, and a brisket. And she was like, ‘OK.’ And I was like, ‘I’m ‘gonna bring some collard greens because I got my own garden and I got greens.'”

This dinner party actually happened, too, and Swift is apparently an excellent cook. “Taylor can cook,” Haddish praised. “She can cook! The chicken was bomb. And she made cornbread. Bomb! So good.”

Swift was a huge fan of Haddish’s collard greens, too, which had a secret ingredient. “When I pick my greens, I smile,” Haddish said. “When I wash the greens, I smile. Then when I cut them up, I smile. And then when I cook them, I smile. They call it joyful greens…And then [Swift] ate my greens. She was like, ‘Oh my gosh, Tiffany, I have been wanting greens for so long. I go to all these different places and get greens, and they’re never good. These greens are so delicious. And I was like, ‘Girl, because them is joyful greens!'”

Incredible. Watch Haddish explain this for yourself in the video, below:

Listen, if Swift films a “Bad Blood” sequel, Haddish needs to be the star. This is the friendship we didn’t know we needed.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Wear Matching Rings While on Vacation Where They Filmed 'The Last Song'

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are sparking even more rumors that they’ve finally gotten married. Hemsworth is currently filming Killerman on none other than Tybee Island, an island off the coast of Savannah, Georgia, where the two met and fell in love in 2010 on the set of The Last Song. And recently Cyrus showed up on set, prompting fans to speculate that the pair would re-create their iconic kiss scene (which was also their first ever kiss). While we’ve yet to see that happen, the two have been showing a lot of love on the beach.

On Saturday Cyrus and Hemsworth were spotted jet-skiing and taking adorable pictures together, InStyle reports, noting they were wearing some accessories on those fingers. Cyrus paired the engagement ring that Hemsworth first gave to her in 2012 (which she began wearing again after the couple reconnected in 2016) with a sparkling band, which could be a wedding band. Hemsworth was also spotted wearing a silver band on his left finger.

Take a look:

Wearing matching rings in the place that they first met? Coincidence or wedding bells? It’s hard to say, but this isn’t even the first time fans were convinced the two tied the knot.

In March Billy Ray Cyrus sent the Internet into a frenzy when he posted a picture of a blissful-looking Cyrus wearing a white dress with the caption, “I’m so happy…you are happy.” Since then, everyone including Billy Ray, Mama Tish, Noah Cyrus, and even Cyrus herself have stated in multiple interviews that the two are just happy living their lives in Malibu as an engaged couple. Just last month Cyrus said, “I don’t envision marriage. I’m 24. I hope to get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do.” Despite all the talk, this isn’t the first time that Hemsworth wore a band on his left ring finger; the actor was seen wearing a similar-looking one in August.

Whether the rings are, in fact, wedding bands or just new bling, it seems like Cyrus and Hemsworth are happy now that they are back together. And the rest of us can just rewatch The Last Song to our hearts content.
