Of Course Chrissy Teigen Had the Best Reactions During John Legend's Live-Stream Concert

To entertain people stuck at home practicing social distancing as a coronavirus precaution, John Legend decided to perform a free, live-stream concert on Instagram. And, of course, Chrissy Teigen had the best reactions during it.

For context: Legend is one of several artists, including Pink and Chris Martin, who are doing this for their fans. But those singers don’t have Chrissy Teigen sitting behind them while they’re performing, drinking wine and making incredible faces.

Fans captured just a few of Teigen’s reactions during the concert and posted them to social media. “@chrissyteigen during @johnlegend’s live concert is a mood,” one person tweeted, alongside a pic of Teigen drinking wine and looking unimpressed. Another fan captured a clip of CT pouring herself a generous glass of wine, which she says was for both her and Legend (but if I were her, that glass would be just for me).

Check out some more A+ Teigen reactions for yourself, below:

Legend announced on March 16 that he’d be playing a show on IG the next day. “My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together,” he tweeted.

Teigen then posted, “I’ll be there!! because I literally have no choice,” to which Legend replied, “Chrissy Teigen has confirmed that she too will be there. Who knows what awesomeness and hilarity will come from her presence!? Tune in to my Instagram Live at 1pm pacific/4pm eastern/do the math for the other time zones please. See you soon.”

She certainly did bring the “awesomeness and hilarity,” as Legend so aptly put it. Honestly, if my future doesn’t include sitting atop a piano pouring wine as my EGOT-winning husband sings to his millions of fans, then what’s the point?

Elizabeth Warren Made A Surprise Appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ — Twitter Reactions

Elizabeth Warren may have dropped out of the presidential race, but she returned to the spotlight on March 7 for the Saturday Night Live cold open.

During another coronavirus-related opening sketch, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, played by Kate McKinnon, advises her viewers that the outbreak is an “urban legend—yes, I’m using ‘urban’ as a dog whistle,” and complains that criticism of President Donald Trump’s response to COVID-19 is the work of stark raving mad liberals.

After speaking to Jeanine Pirro (Cecily Strong), Donald Trump Jr. (Mikey Day) and Eric Trump (Alex Moffat), and Chris Matthews (Darrell Hammond), Ingraham patches in Elizabeth Warren to discuss her exit from the race…the actual Elizabeth Warren.

This skit is full of moments that Warren supporters will no doubt find enjoyable. When Ingrahm decides to roll tape of Warren pummeling Michael Bloomberg during the debates, she hits play on a recent viral video of Warren’s dog, Bailey, fighting staffers for a burrito. “Just to be clear, were you the dog or the burrito?” Ingraham asks.

“I was the dog,” Warren responds, to uproarious applauds by the live studio audience.

Warren added that she didn’t have any regrets about her presidential bid, especially because she got to give a billionaire a “swirlie on live TV.” The senator explains that she’s been practicing some self-care stepping down, which includes prank calling big banks, drag-racing Subarus, and staying off Twitter. The cold open then ended with McKinnon running into the room in full Warren gear, unwilling to miss the opportunity to thank her in person for her life’s work. “I’m not dead. I’m just in the Senate,” Warren replies. Watch the full sketch, below:

That’s not all. Having Warren on set at 30 Rock meant some behind-the-scenes antics with her impersonator.

The moment quickly made the rounds on Twitter, via Warren supporters and McKinnon enthusiasts, alike. U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who endorsed Bernie Sanders for president, even replied, “ok this is legendary.”

Here are some more reactions from the night:

Maybe Warren doesn’t need to avoid Twitter after all.

The ‘Love Is Blind’ Reunion Show Is Here—And the Fan Reactions Are Hilarious

Warning: This post contains major Love Is Blind spoilers.

The Love Is Blind reunion show dropped on Netflix in the wee hours of Thursday, March 5—and it most certainly didn’t disappoint.

The 12 main cast members reunited with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey to rehash all that happened on the show—and everything that has transpired in the year and a half since. (The show filmed in 2018.) And they had a lot to say. Amber confronted Jessica over her continued flirtation with Barnett. Carlton and Diamond seemed to get some closure. Damian and Giannina told us they are back together. We all fell collectively more in love with Lauren and Cameron, who are still together—thank goodness. We don’t need that heartbreak in this dark and twisty world right now.

As they have throughout the show’s run, people on social media had strong reactions to the Love Is Blind reunion.

Of course, there was the Barnett, Amber, and Jessica of it all. “Amber dragging Jessica for filth is exactly what I needed to happen in the Love is blind reunion,” one person tweeted. Another commented on Barnett’s facial reactions during the confrontation, “Barnett’s face while amber is going in on Jessica on the love is blind reunion is a big moood.”

People continued to have a lot of opinions about what went down between Carlton and Diamond. “LMFAO the Love Is Blind reunion was interesting. Highlights, Carlton doing the most in the apology to Diamond ??‍♂️, Amber reading tf out of ‘Mess-ica’ and Lauren and Cameron being the best thing to come out of the show,” one fan wrote.

America’s sweethearts, Lauren and Cameron, did not disappoint fans. Their love feels very real—and they seem so happy. Some were clamoring for a spin-off.

We just need to know one thing: if (and when) season two is happening. Your move, Netflix.

The Only Thing Better Than the Friends Reunion News Is Celebrities' Reactions to It

On Friday, HBO gave the world the news it needed: The Friends reunion is actually happening. The network announced it will soon gather all six Friends stars for an unscripted special for HBO Max—and start streaming all 236 of the show’s episodes. Though we don’t know an official date for when this unscripted special will air or when the episodes will begin to stream, we do know it “will be available to subscribers at the launch of HBO Max,” according to a press release—and HBO Max is set to launch in May 2020.

If you’re at all excited about this, you should know you’re not alone: The only thing better than the news itself is the celebrity reactions to it.

Just check out a few of the replies on Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram post sharing the news.

Among the thousands of responses, eagle-eyed fans can spot more than a few bigger names including Queer Eye star Antoni, who simply exclaimed, “NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.”

Then there was Sarah Hyland, who gave a resounding “EXCUSE ME?!”

Next, it was Awkwafina’s turn to share an all caps “WHAT”

It appears even Reece Witherspoon, Aniston’s co-star on The Morning Show, didn’t even get a heads up.

And Aniston’s good pal Gwyneth Paltrow was apparently out of the loop too.

Selena Gomez really summed up how we all feel with her comment, “NO ONE TALK TO ME I’M NOT OK.”

And Kaley Cuoco said it best when she wrote, “I can’t do anything with my life at the moment. This is too much.”

So yeah, suffice to say celebrities probably signing up for HBO Max as we speak, because, uh:

Matthew Perry’s ‘Friends’ Costars Had the Best Reactions to His Joining Instagram

Update 2/9/20:

Matthew Perry joined Instagram to much fanfare, especially from his Friends castmates including Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, and onscreen wife, Courteney Cox. But he made us all wait to see what his first post would actually be.

Of course, it was very Chandler Bing, using a GIF from the show where he dances around excitedly. “This is how thrilled I am to finally be on Instagram. So, here we go…” he wrote in the caption.

His second post also had that pitch-perfect Chandler sarcastic charm.

We can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.

Original story:

We never thought we’d see the day, but Chandler Bing is on Instagram at long last. Well, actually, the actor who played him is. Matthew Perry became the final cast member from Friends to hop onto the social media platform.

Lisa Kudrow made the announcement for him with a sweet throwback photo of the two of them—and a great reference to the show. “Finally!!! Yay!! Can’t believe my eyes MY EYES. Welcome to Instagram @mattyperry4 #friendsforlife,” she wrote in the caption. Perry already has more than 2 million followers—and he hasn’t even made a single post yet.

The Game of Thrones Finale Got Some Major Mixed Reactions From Fans

HBO premiered the highly-anticipated series finale of Game of Thrones tonight, and let’s just say some fans were not feeling it. (You can read more about how it went down, here.) Contempt for how showrunners took the direction of the narratives and the characters was palpable on Twitter. However, plenty of other fans chimed in that they dug the series finale.

Check out just a few of the reactions, below. Both the positive and negative tweets keep rolling in.

These reactions, though, only hit the tip of the iceberg. All season fans have been pointing out areas where showrunners could’ve done better. People felt like Arya didn’t get enough credit when she killed the Night King. Jon Snow kept making questionable choices left and right. At one point, Sansa basically said that experiencing rape made her grow as a person. That last one really didn’t sit well with viewers, including Jessica Chastain, who tweeted, “Rape is not a tool to make a character stronger.”

Another fan noted, “Sansa thrived DESPITE her trauma, not BECAUSE of it. That’s what is frustrating about the scene and what so many people are missing here.” A third one wrote, “I would have rather Sansa been like ‘it is what it is’ to the events that lead her to this season versus basically implying getting assaulted and shit made her ‘stronger’ Just….pitiful. And def written by a cishet man.”

But there were some moments of success. The fact that Arya did kill the Night King was badass, regardless of the aftermath. “It was so unbelievably exciting,”Maisie Williams told Entertainment Weekly about the scene. “But I immediately thought that everybody would hate it, that Arya doesn’t deserve it. The hardest thing in any series is when you build up a villain that’s so impossible to defeat and then you defeat them. It has to be intelligently done because otherwise people are like, ‘Well, [the villain] couldn’t have been that bad when some 100-pound girl comes in and stabs him.’ You gotta make it cool. And then I told my boyfriend and he was like, ‘Mmm, should be Jon though, really, shouldn’t it?’” For the record: No, it shouldn’t have been Jon Snow. That was Arya’s win, and no one can take that from her.

It’s difficult to say how the reception of this finale will inform the Game of Thrones fandom. A prequel is on the horizon, but will fans tune in? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
