Of Course Chrissy Teigen Had the Best Reactions During John Legend's Live-Stream Concert

To entertain people stuck at home practicing social distancing as a coronavirus precaution, John Legend decided to perform a free, live-stream concert on Instagram. And, of course, Chrissy Teigen had the best reactions during it.

For context: Legend is one of several artists, including Pink and Chris Martin, who are doing this for their fans. But those singers don’t have Chrissy Teigen sitting behind them while they’re performing, drinking wine and making incredible faces.

Fans captured just a few of Teigen’s reactions during the concert and posted them to social media. “@chrissyteigen during @johnlegend’s live concert is a mood,” one person tweeted, alongside a pic of Teigen drinking wine and looking unimpressed. Another fan captured a clip of CT pouring herself a generous glass of wine, which she says was for both her and Legend (but if I were her, that glass would be just for me).

Check out some more A+ Teigen reactions for yourself, below:

Legend announced on March 16 that he’d be playing a show on IG the next day. “My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together,” he tweeted.

Teigen then posted, “I’ll be there!! because I literally have no choice,” to which Legend replied, “Chrissy Teigen has confirmed that she too will be there. Who knows what awesomeness and hilarity will come from her presence!? Tune in to my Instagram Live at 1pm pacific/4pm eastern/do the math for the other time zones please. See you soon.”

She certainly did bring the “awesomeness and hilarity,” as Legend so aptly put it. Honestly, if my future doesn’t include sitting atop a piano pouring wine as my EGOT-winning husband sings to his millions of fans, then what’s the point?

Priyanka Chopra Went to Her First Jonas Brothers Concert and Documented the Whole Thing

Sure, Priyanka Chopra might be married to a Jonas Brother; be close friends with Sophie Turner, who is dating another Jonas Brother; and have starred in a Jonas Brothers music video. But she still hadn’t actually been to a Jonas Brothers concert—until Saturday night, that is.

Chopra attended her first-ever Jonas Brothers concert (!) over the weekend in Atlanta. And naturally, she documented the whole thing on social media. Her verdict? She loved every single moment of it.

“My first ever #jonasbrothers show. And it was incredible!!! I’m so proud of these guys!! #Family ❤️???,” she captioned an Instagram post featuring her, the band, and, in a second picture, the Jonas parents.

Throughout the night, Chopra kindly shared all the backstage action with fans through her Instagram Stories, from the line outside the venue to show-goers sending well-wishes to her husband, Nick. Behold, her play-by-play of the evening.

First, she was whisked into the Tabernacle Atlanta, where the Jonas Brothers would be performing, past what looks like crowds of fans waiting to get in.

Instagram Stories/@priyankachopra

Then, she admitted for the record that, yes, this was her first Jonas Brothers concert ever. But she was willing to give away a backstage secret or two.

Later, she came across some big Jonas Brothers fans and offered to pass along their messages to the boys.

Fellow show-goers spotted Chopra at the show, and captured some cute interactions between her and Nick—including him singing “I love you” to his wife in the crowd. (Ah, think of all the Jonas Brothers fans who have fantasized about being in Chopra’s position.)

Clearly, it was a successful night (and first Jonas Brothers concert, surely of many) for Chopra. Here’s to much more fangirling in the future. Meanwhile, we’ll be here, waiting for more tour dates to be released. C’mon, JoBros!

Beyoncé Stopped Herself From Falling Down the Stairs in Concert Like a Pro

Beyoncé performs almost every single one of her concerts in stilettos, and her ongoing On the Run II tour with Jay-Z is no exception. That means, though, that the occasional trip or misstep is bound to happen. The latest hiccup happened Thursday night (August 23) at Bey and Jay’s OTRII show in Nashville: Queen B nearly fell down the stairs on stage, but she used some kind of otherworldly strength to catch her balance on one foot. That, my friends, is truly defying gravity.

One concertgoer, who shared their angle of the breathtaking save on Instagram, titled the moment “Beyoncé Vs ‘The Stairs,'” declaring, “Beyoncé Wins!” In the video, you see Bey walk down the stairs; her right ankle begins to wobble, causing her to come down hard on her left foot and sink into a squat. At this point, a normal human would’ve been unable to stop their legs from flying out in front of them, but not Beyoncé: Instead, she did a subtle body roll to fight the fall and used her leg strength to push up and out of the squat.

See it for yourself, below:

This isn’t the first on-stage mishap to happen on the OTRII Tour. During her and Jay-Z’s show in Warsaw, Poland in early July, Bey was flying over the audience while performing “Young Forever” when her floating stage malfunctioned, leaving her stranded in midair. Rather than freaking out, Beyoncé remained nonchalant and blew kisses to the fans below until a crew member could set up an emergency ladder.

During her Philadelphia concert at the end of July, Bey’s ponytail braid reportedly got stuck in her earring while she was dancing up a storm. Fans described on Twitter how, despite that annoyance, she never missed a step and never even tried to unhook her hair. Dedication!

Ariana Grande Tearfully Opens Up About 'get well soon,' Her New Song Inspired by the Manchester Concert Attack

Ariana Grande has been sharing all the stories behind her new album, Sweetener, which dropped on Friday—and there’s one song in particular that strikes an emotional chord with her. “get well soon”, the album’s final track, is in part an ode to the 22 victims of the 2017 terrorist attack that took place after one of her concerts in Manchester, England. On Friday, Grande listened to the song on Beats 1 radio with Ebro Darden and tearfully recounted the inspiration behind it.

“It’s just about just being there for each and helping each other through scary times and anxiety,” Grande said as she became more and more emotional. “There’s some dark shit out there, man, and we just have to be there for each other as much as we can because you never fucking know. I just wanted to do something to make people feel good and less alone.”

“Obviously [if you see it] on the news it affects you but not in the same way. You feel bad, you tweet it, you post a picture, you send your condolences, you say something and move on,” Grande said on the show, then continued: “It’s like people are permanently affected by this shit and it’s just like, perspective. It changes everything, changes your life quite a bit. You want to be more present and follow happy impulses and figure it out later and stay in the moment.”

Grande, who organized a benefit concert for the victims after the attack, has opened up about the experience in the past, explaining what a toll it took on her mental health. “I don’t think I’ve been through anything as traumatic as [what] we’ve been through,” she said in an interview with Coveteur.

But “get well soon” isn’t strictly about Manchester. It also tackles dealing with mental health and anxiety, Grande said on Beats 1. “It’s not just about that. It’s also about personal demons and anxiety, and more intimate tragedies, as well. Mental health is so important. People don’t pay enough mind to it.” she said, adding that people are often moving so fast in their lives they don’t pay attention to “what’s happening inside.”

“That’s why I felt like it was important,” Grande said through tears. “I just wanted to give people a hug, musically and I feel like the lyrics can be kind of corny when I talk about wanting to hug you, but I do. People gotta be nicer.”

A Fan Discovered She Took a Picture With 11-Year-Old Blake Lively at a Spice Girls Concert

Like pretty much all of us, Blake Lively was a massive Spice Girls wannabe back in the day. In fact, her fandom was so intense that she actually dressed up as Baby Spice while attending a concert back in 1997—a moment the Internet blessed us with a glimpse of this week when a Twitter user uploaded a picture of herself posing with a very young Lively at the show. As if that adorable-ness wasn’t amazing enough, the real Baby Spice actually commented on the photo, causing Lively to have a very appropriate Spice Girls-related freakout.

On Saturday, Twitter user @briamadrid posted a photo of herself with a young girl rocking the full Baby Spice look—the necklace, the pigtails, the gigantic platform shoes—and said she’d just realized the costumed fan was actually Lively. “Found a picture when I was 5 at my first concert. #SpiceGirls and took a picture with a girl dressed up as Baby Spice who I just realized now was @blakelively,” she wrote.

Lively re-posted the photo on her Instagram, writing, “Pretending to be someone else… since 1997 (Thanks @briaaamadrid for the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry -not sorry- I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton).”

That whole interaction on its own is adorable, but it got even wilder when Emma Lee Bunton, a.k.a. Baby Spice, chimed in to compliment Lively. “So cute, you’re rocking those pigtails @blakelively,” she wrote.

Getting a thumbs-up from Baby Spice was almost too much for Lively, who tweeted a bunch of skull emojis and replied, “Forever bowing down to you. I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal.”

Rumors have been circulating for a while now that the Spice Girls are planning a reunion tour soon, and Mel B recently seemed to confirm as much on the Today show.

If the reunion shows do happen, maybe Lively will have a chance to reprise her Baby Spice role—and we’d be so here for that.

Michelle and Barack Obama Are Honestly Living Their Best Lives at Beyoncé and Jay Z's Concert

On Saturday, Michelle and Barack Obama proved once again that they are living their best post-White House life when they attended Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s concert in Maryland, near their home of Washington, D.C. Not only did they prove they are having the best time, but they also showed they still have the best dance moves of any presidential family in U.S. history (and that’s zero percent an exaggeration).

During the concert, fans captured footage of the former First Couple as they sang along with the music and danced with friends in their box seats. Twitter reveled in Michelle’s perfectly executed moves, while Barack—well, Barack kept it classic, showing off his world-famous “dad” moves. The videos are thoroughly delightful.

And really, this is just the kind of thing you’d expect from the post-political Obamas. After all, this was Michelle’s second On the Run II Tour concert in as many weeks, proving she might just be queen of the Beyhive fandom. In early July, she was spotted alongside Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, and her youngest daughter Sasha at the couple’s tour stop in Paris. (To say we’re a little envious is an understatement.) This time, however, it made it all the more special that Barry was at the D.C.-area concert too.

Look at these two:

I mean, it’s adorable:

And one more just for good measure.

It’s not super-surprising, however: The two couples have been friends for years, dating back to at least 2009, when Bey performed at then-President Obama’s first inauguration. She also sang the national anthem at his second inauguration event in 2013.

In 2011, Michelle and Beyoncé teamed up to help promote the then-First Lady’s “Let’s Move” campaign to help end childhood obesity in America. And in 2014, Michelle was spotted at her first Beyoncé concert in Chicago, according to CNN, to which she also brought daughters Sasha and Malia along.

Safe to say these two are fans of Bey and Jay—and we’re so happy that video documentation exists.
