Kim Kardashian Reveals She and Paris Hilton Had a Joint Halloween Costume Planned


Kim Kardashian West appears to be on a quest to become the queen of Halloween. Normally, we’d say she could never beat the masterful work of Hiedi Klum, the one true Halloween master among us, but in a new interview with Vogue, Kardashian revealed a costume so good it could have won contests the world over. And it even involved Paris Hilton.

In a video she made for Vogue‘s Life in Looks series, Kardashian takes viewers through her many different iconic fashion eras. And, of course, things kick off with a photo of her and Paris Hilton circa 2006. In the photo, Hilton and Kardashian make their way through Australia, both wearing metallic outfits and holding massive matching metallic Louis Vuitton Alma bags.

“Oh my god, this look. This is literally one of my favorite, most iconic looks,” she said while smiling at the photo.”This is what Paris and I were going to be for Halloween this year. But we ran out of time. I think we need to do this next year. How fun would that be?”

Fun indeed. While the world may have missed out on a truly nostalgic Halloween, Kardashian at least spilled a little tea on what was really inside those massive bags. It turns out, it was nothing.

“Paris does not take care of her purses, so if you see what’s inside of her bag there’s a million things,” Kardashian said. “Makeup, lashes just everything. It’s like a pharmacy inside of her bag, so I would not let her put anything inside of her bag. It’s an empty bag that she’s carrying.”

The good news is, it may be easy for the duo to pull off this classic look for Halloween 2020. That’s because Kardashian admitted she took both of the bags and still has them stored away in her own closet for safekeeping. Kind of makes you wish you kept all your old 2006 styles too, right?

While we may not have gotten a dose of early aughts fashion via a Kardashian-Hilton joint costume this year, the reality star still had plenty of noteworthy Halloween looks, including a spot-on homage to Legally Blonde, an ultra-creepy family bug costume, and a sweet Flinstones look.

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan Might Be Doing a Reboot of ‘The Simple Life’


In 2003, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie blessed us with The Simple Life, a gloriously bonkers reality show in which the two socialites “roughed it” in blue-collar America. They traded in their designer clothes and penthouse apartments for bunkbeds and evening shifts at fast food restaurants. Was it problematic? Sure, but undeniably funny at times—and a formative piece of 2000s pop culture.

So it’s no surprise fans are begging for it to come back. (We are in the era of reboots, after all.) But Hilton has said time and time again that nothing is on the books. “They actually approached me to redo it again, but my schedule was so insane that I didn’t have time to do it, so I said no, but it would be pretty epic,” she told the Gay Times last fall.

Maybe her schedule is a bit more flexible now, though. There’s a theory floating around the internet that a Simple Life reboot is happening, and it will star Paris Hilton and—wait for it—Lindsay Lohan.

The only evidence comes from The Simple Life‘s “official” Twitter account (which isn’t verified). On Tuesday, June 25, whoever runs the page tweeted out a classic image of Hilton and Richie and wrote, “#SimpleLife6” alongside an eye emoji.

They then followed this up with two female emojis: one blond and one redhead. It didn’t take long for people to put two and two together. When one fan inquired if this meant the reboot would star Hilton and Lohan, the account responded with a “shhh” emoji. Interesting….

Then the account basically confirmed the suspicions by posting a photo of Lohan and Hilton from 2005 and captioning it, “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”

Enemies isn’t exactly the word I’d use to describe Hilton and Lohan—I’d venture to say they’re “frenemies.” The two were close at one point during the early aughts, but their relationship has since fizzled. Hilton’s made several shady comments about Lohan but confirmed they don’t get along this year on Watch What Happens Live. When host Andy Cohen asked Hilton to say three nice things about the Mean Girls star, she responded with “beyond, lame, and embarrassing.”

Paris Hilton Dressed Up as Kim Kardashian to Model for Yeezy Season 6


Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian have both come a long way since the early aughts: Back then, Hilton was the queen of reality TV, and Kardashian a newcomer (not to mention: the latter’s one-time assistant). Fast-forward a decade, and we’re talking about bonafide legends—one-woman empires, with stakes in beauty, fashion, fitness, and DJ-ing. And though the tabloids have painted these once-best friends as bitter enemies for years, they’ve both denied any bad blood. If you need further proof, look no further than the latest campaign images for Yeezy, Kanye West’s fashion line.

In a series of just-released campaign images, several Instagram models and influencers emulate the Yeezy Season 6 lookbook, which was simply a collection of paparazzi shots of Kardashian wearing the collection. Among the Kimmy clones are Jordyn Woods, Chinqpink, and, yes, Ms. Hilton.

That’s right, people: Paris Hilton literally dressed up as Kim Kardashian to promote Yeezy Season Six. No, we haven’t traveled back in time. Yes, the photos are glorious—check them out for yourself.

Kardashian shared these photos of Hilton to her Instagram account, writing that the Simple Life legend is “#ForeverTheOG.”

Hilton is stoked about these photos, too. She took to Instagram to say she had “so much fun being a #KimClone in the new #YeezySeason6 campaign.” See, y’all: Their friendship is real, and it’s about to make Yeezy a ton of money.

Paris Hilton Just Shut Down Rumors About Why She Zoomed Off Without Her Fiancé


Paris Hilton and her fiancé, Chris Zylka, landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday night after their holiday trip to Aspen—and their commute home started on a bumpy, albeit hilarious, note.

The reality star, who’s pretty good at maneuvering around paparazzi at this point in her life, hopped into the backseat of her SUV right after leaving the airport. A few seconds later, the driver swiftly got into the front seat and drove Hilton and her new $2 million engagement ring away without Zylka in the car.

Back on the curb. paparazzi start to congratulate The Leftovers actor on his new engagement. He seems to be in pretty good spirits for what just happened to him in front of dozens of cameras—even shaking one of the photographer’s hands. Needless to say, the moment caused a little uproar—and more than a few headlines.

You can see 32-year-old Zylka left in the dust curbside in the video footage below.

“I’m her fiancé, [they] might not want to leave me,” Zylka said lightheartedly to the photographers.

Luckily, the moment wasn’t a premonition of what’s to come in their relationship—or some huge public fight. The hotel heiress cleared the air on her Twitter account and explained that it was just a major mixup after all.

“The driver thought he was in the car with us,” Hilton commented. “He didn’t realize with all the cameras & commotion. As soon as he sped off, I said “You left my Fiance!!” Then he backed his car up right away & got him within a few seconds. #Beyond”

Hilton, 36, came home to a fun surprise that likely made her and Zylka quickly forget about the embarrassing airport moment. She shared the adorable balloon-filled gesture in a series of Instagram photos. Further proof that all’s well that ends well—especially when you’re Paris Hilton.

Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka Are Engaged


Though there’s no such thing as a bad time to revisit Paris Hilton‘s seminal classic “Stars Are Blind” and/or spritz yourself with any of the heiress’ 23 perfumes, now is an especially good time to celebrate the reality star/early aughts fashion icon/DJ. The multi-hyphenate revealed to People on Tuesday that her boyfriend, actor Chris Zylka, proposed over the weekend during the pair’s ski trip getaway in Aspen, Colorado.

“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” Hilton said. “I have never felt so happy, safe, and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!” She told the outlet that she and Zylka were posing for a photo in the snow when Zylka suddenly got down on one knee and pulled out a huge ring. Pictures from the proposal show Hilton, wearing a black-and-white ski outfit covered in shiny silver stars, grinning from ear to ear while Zylka pops the question.

“I was so excited and surprised! I immediately said yes!” the 36-year-old said, adding that she definitely approves of Zylka’s jewelry taste. “The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling. I was shaking as I put it on. It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen!”

Hilton posted a few photos from the proposal on Instagram on Tuesday. In the caption, she called Zylka her “best friend & soulmate. Perfect for me in every way. So dedicated, loyal, loving & kindhearted.” She also posted a very Paris Hilton announcement on Twitter. “I’m engaged That’s hot!!!” she wrote.

Hilton and Zylka, 32, reportedly started dating sometime in 2016, before making their love Instagram official in February 2017, when Hilton shared several photos of her and The Leftovers actor, calling him “My #Valentine.” Since then, she’s shared countless photos with Zylka and sweet messages addressed to him on social media. “Never in a million years did I think I would find someone so completely perfectly for me. Someone who would make me happier than I ever dreamed I could be. Someone that would touch my life so profoundly & give me a whole new reason to breathe,” she wrote in a late December post.

“Ever since our first date I knew there was something special about him,” Hilton told People of Zylka. “I have never in my life met a man so loyal, dedicated, and loving. I knew right from the start that I wanted to be with him forever.” Zylka echoed his fiancée’s sentiments. “Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out,” he said. “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy magazine, died Wednesday at the age of 91. Whatever you thought of his work, there’s no denying that Hefner had a colossal impact on American culture. What first started as a magazine in 1953 eventually grew into a multiplatform brand complete with media production branches, a clothing line, and clubs and casinos that all bore the Playboy moniker. And though the brand faded after hitting its peak in the 1970s, Hefner consistently remained a symbol of sexual liberation.

Of course, plenty of celebrities were impacted by Hefner’s death and took to social media to offer their condolences.

Former Playboy cover stars like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton shared their thoughts.

Others like Busy Philipps and Kat Dennings shared their memories of Hef and time spent at the Playboy mansion.

Activist Reverend Jesse Jackson praised Hefner for supporting the civil rights movement.

And plenty more were simply shocked and saddened by the news.
