North West Performing at the Yeezy Show in Paris Is the Best Thing You’ll See Today

North West continues to be way chicer and cooler than all the adults on earth combined. Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s 6-year-old daughter took the stage at the Yeezy show at Paris Fashion Week on Monday (March 2) and effortlessly rapped as models strutted up and down the runway. Yes, you read that correctly: North West is now officially in the rap game. We’re sure her father, one of the most prolific hip hop artists ever, is so proud.

In fact, I can say with relative certainty that he is. Just look at the smile on his face when he joins North on stage. This is the famous-person equivalent of a parent cheering their kid on at a community soccer game—except instead of Gatorade and apple slices, we have a sea of cream-colored couture.

Fashionista editor in chief Tyler McCall was at the show and posted a video of North to her Twitter:

And check out these video screen grabs from Kardashian West’s Instagram Stories that were also posted to Twitter:

Where is North’s Grammy? Her American Music Award? Her Pulitzer Prize? The only thing that would’ve made this better is if her siblings (Saint, Chicago, and Psalm) joined her on stage. Oh, well. There’s always the next Yeezy fashion show.

“A house of four is wild,” Kardashian said on The View about her children. “But complete. Very balanced.”

When asked if she’d be having more children, she said, “Absolutely no more.” She added, “When you have to be responsible for every single soul and morning…. I can’t even begin to tell you what getting ready in the morning is like…I do [have help]…and I love everyone who has been so helpful. But my husband is on this no-help kick, so I’m like, ‘Okay, you try the morning.’”

Here’s hoping an album is North West’s future. I’m ready for her to stampede the charts.

L'Oréal Paris Bambi Eye Mascara Review With Photos

I’ve always been enchanted by huge, cartoonish eyes. After graduating from Disney princesses, I fixed my obsession on anime characters, whose colorful outfits and huge eyelashes equally spoke to me. Early on in high school, I idolized Zooey Deschanel and her wide-eyed look, and drew Twiggy lashes on my lower lash line when I went out at night.

I’ve since moved on to more sophisticated methods of enhancing my lashes in hopes of making my tiny eyes look like a cartoon. Lash extensions and lifts have been the most successful, but they’re expensive and time consuming, so finding a good mascara has been crucial. While I have some go-tos, I’d yet to find one that replicates the doll-eyed look of a lash lift.

Then the new L’Oréal Paris Bambi Eye Mascara came along, and I knew I had something to be excited about. For starters, L’Oréal makes some of my all-time favorite mascaras (at any price point), and anything that promises crazy volume and “a doe-eyed effect” has my attention. But, let’s be real here, obviously the real draw was the name. Bambi is the ultimate big-eye icon in my book. The fact that model Camille Rowe is heavily featured in the ads alongside Bambi himself just adds to my theory that this mascara was made specifically with me in mind.

Adorable branding aside, where this mascara truly stands out is the brush, which has a mix of long and short bristles to grab every lash. It’s on the spiky-plasticy side, which is great for shorter lashes like mine, yet has some heft to it to help with volume.

The first time I tested it out, I was ridiculously sick—I more closely resembled the Corpse Bride than my usual self. But after one swipe of the stuff (singing the Bambi eyes line from “This Is What Makes Us Girls” to myself, naturally), I was wowed. I looked wide awake, and all the life instantly came back to my face. It fanned out my lashes so they were super fluttery, and the brush made it seem like I have double the lashes I actually do. My lashes were instantly lifted and crazy curled (no lash curler needed!), giving me the doll-y eyes of my dreams in seconds. Essentially, it gave me the same effect as my beloved lash lift, without the trip to the salon. In short, I’m obsessed.

Look at that curl.

If you’re looking for a natural look, this might not be the best choice for you, although it doesn’t clump no matter how many layers I apply. It just definitely looks like you have mascara on, a look I personally love. But despite the crazy volume I didn’t sacrifice any definition, and the inky black formula stays on all day without any flaking or smudging.

It didn’t turn me into a cartoon character, but it came pretty damn close.

Kim Kardashian Reveals She and Paris Hilton Had a Joint Halloween Costume Planned

Kim Kardashian West appears to be on a quest to become the queen of Halloween. Normally, we’d say she could never beat the masterful work of Hiedi Klum, the one true Halloween master among us, but in a new interview with Vogue, Kardashian revealed a costume so good it could have won contests the world over. And it even involved Paris Hilton.

In a video she made for Vogue‘s Life in Looks series, Kardashian takes viewers through her many different iconic fashion eras. And, of course, things kick off with a photo of her and Paris Hilton circa 2006. In the photo, Hilton and Kardashian make their way through Australia, both wearing metallic outfits and holding massive matching metallic Louis Vuitton Alma bags.

“Oh my god, this look. This is literally one of my favorite, most iconic looks,” she said while smiling at the photo.”This is what Paris and I were going to be for Halloween this year. But we ran out of time. I think we need to do this next year. How fun would that be?”

Fun indeed. While the world may have missed out on a truly nostalgic Halloween, Kardashian at least spilled a little tea on what was really inside those massive bags. It turns out, it was nothing.

“Paris does not take care of her purses, so if you see what’s inside of her bag there’s a million things,” Kardashian said. “Makeup, lashes just everything. It’s like a pharmacy inside of her bag, so I would not let her put anything inside of her bag. It’s an empty bag that she’s carrying.”

The good news is, it may be easy for the duo to pull off this classic look for Halloween 2020. That’s because Kardashian admitted she took both of the bags and still has them stored away in her own closet for safekeeping. Kind of makes you wish you kept all your old 2006 styles too, right?

While we may not have gotten a dose of early aughts fashion via a Kardashian-Hilton joint costume this year, the reality star still had plenty of noteworthy Halloween looks, including a spot-on homage to Legally Blonde, an ultra-creepy family bug costume, and a sweet Flinstones look.

Viola Davis Is the New Face of L'Oréal Paris

L’Oréal Paris has been on a mission lately to make one thing clear—every woman is “worth it,” no matter her age. Over the past few years, the beauty brand’s been working to expand its roster of spokeswomen beyond the typical starlets in their twenties. Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Courteney Cox, and Vanessa Williams have all been tapped to be a part of the L’Oréal family. In fact, as of this fall, its portfolio included nine women over the age of 40. Now its latest announcement makes 10.

At 54 years old, actress and activist Viola Davis is the new face of L’Oréal Paris, making it her first-ever contract with a big beauty brand. (And if you’ve ever seen her walk a red carpet or watched a minute of her on How to Get Away With Murder, you’ll join me in saying it’s about freaking time.)

Davis announced the news on Instagram today, writing: “The self affirming words of, ‘Because I’m worth it’ have always given me chill bumps. What a joy it will be to not just say them over and over again…but to spread the message of worth to women around the world. It is a gift.”

Introduced by L’Oréal’s deputy general manager (and Glamour Women of the Year, All Year honoree) Anne Marie Nelson-Bogle at an intimate press event yesterday, Viola told a crowd of beauty editors exactly what being labeled “worth it” means to her.

“I believe that the greatest privilege is to be who you are,” she said. “No apologies for your age, your color, anything. As long as you’re you and living up to who that is and what that means, you’re worth it. That’s self-worth.”

She went on to tell the room how when she began acting she felt pressure to conform to Hollywood’s “classic” (read: stale, singular, Eurocentric ) definition of “pretty.”

“Earlier in my career when I was much more affected, [conforming] almost felt like prerequisite to success, which is crazy if you think about it—what do looks have to do with acting ability?” she said. “In order to succeed, you had to meet these impossible standards. Now I am much more secure in who I am, but there was a time that I did feel those pressures and succumb to them to a degree.”

But also, she pointed to her role as Annalise Keating on HTGAWM (who wasn’t originally written to be a black woman) as proof Hollywood is evolving. “To have been a part of that shift is so powerful and humbling,” she said.

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan Might Be Doing a Reboot of ‘The Simple Life’

In 2003, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie blessed us with The Simple Life, a gloriously bonkers reality show in which the two socialites “roughed it” in blue-collar America. They traded in their designer clothes and penthouse apartments for bunkbeds and evening shifts at fast food restaurants. Was it problematic? Sure, but undeniably funny at times—and a formative piece of 2000s pop culture.

So it’s no surprise fans are begging for it to come back. (We are in the era of reboots, after all.) But Hilton has said time and time again that nothing is on the books. “They actually approached me to redo it again, but my schedule was so insane that I didn’t have time to do it, so I said no, but it would be pretty epic,” she told the Gay Times last fall.

Maybe her schedule is a bit more flexible now, though. There’s a theory floating around the internet that a Simple Life reboot is happening, and it will star Paris Hilton and—wait for it—Lindsay Lohan.

The only evidence comes from The Simple Life‘s “official” Twitter account (which isn’t verified). On Tuesday, June 25, whoever runs the page tweeted out a classic image of Hilton and Richie and wrote, “#SimpleLife6” alongside an eye emoji.

They then followed this up with two female emojis: one blond and one redhead. It didn’t take long for people to put two and two together. When one fan inquired if this meant the reboot would star Hilton and Lohan, the account responded with a “shhh” emoji. Interesting….

Then the account basically confirmed the suspicions by posting a photo of Lohan and Hilton from 2005 and captioning it, “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”

Enemies isn’t exactly the word I’d use to describe Hilton and Lohan—I’d venture to say they’re “frenemies.” The two were close at one point during the early aughts, but their relationship has since fizzled. Hilton’s made several shady comments about Lohan but confirmed they don’t get along this year on Watch What Happens Live. When host Andy Cohen asked Hilton to say three nice things about the Mean Girls star, she responded with “beyond, lame, and embarrassing.”

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Have Arrived in Paris for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' Second Wedding

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have, as of Sunday, arrived in Paris for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ upcoming second wedding—which, while the exact date and location is still unknown, was most recently rumored to be set for the end of June in France. And, well, it’s the end of June, and everyone’s in France! Besides, the fact that the “J Sisters” are taking time from their busy schedules in another corner of the world seems to indicate that something special is going to happen.

Priyanka and Nick were spotted taking a stroll in Paris on Sunday afternoon, according to Entertainment Online, although Sophie and Joe were nowhere to be seen. But they aren’t the only celebrities who have arrived in Paris for the upcoming festivities: Wilmer Valderrama, who’s friends with Joe, posted on his ‘gram that he was in Paris too.

Later on Sunday, Joe, Sophie, Wilmer and two other friends were caught on film by this lucky bystander as they left a building in the city.

But the J Sisters didn’t spent the whole day apart—they got together with Nick, Joe, Wilmer, and others in the group for dinner later Sunday evening.
