Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Have a Long, Hilarious History of Trolling Each Other

Instagram

February 2018: The V-Day shenanigans continued with this “glue” cake Reynolds made for Lively. It looks delicious.

April 2018: Two months later Lively decided to praise the back of her head in a photo with Reynolds at the center. I’d 10/10 do the same if my braid looked this good.

April 2018: Ryan Reynolds Uses Trolling to Shut Down Break-Up Rumors, Part 1

April 2018: Ryan Reynolds Uses Trolling to Shut Down Break-Up Rumors, Part 2

May 2018: The trailer for Lively’s new film A Simple Favor drops. It’s confusing, so Reynolds tweets Lively and asks what the hell’s going on. Instead of giving an answer, she trolls, naturally.

May 2018: “Is the extra distance between you supposed to convince me that you DON’T love him more than me?? Nice try,” Lively commented on this photo of Hugh Jackman and Reynolds. What Lively doesn’t know is Jackman and Reynolds have the space between them so I can pop in the middle.

June 2018: In perhaps their funniest case of trolling yet, Lively and Reynolds have a back-and-forth about his fictional twin brother Gordon. I want a husband to be witty with on Instagram! Until that time comes, though, at least I have these two.

June 2018: Lively calls her Simple Favor costar Anna Kendrick the “hotter, female(r)” version of her husband, and jokes about cheating on him. Reynolds replies in good, hilarious spirits.

August 2019: In honor of Lively’s birthday, Reynolds pulled off a master troll by posting a series of unflattering photos of the b-day girl. “Happy Birthday, @blakelively,” he wrote alongside images that show her blinking, making funny faces, and looking generally unprepared.

September 2019: Lively strikes back by sharing a hilarious screenshot from her Instagram photo app of Reynolds in a goofy-looking hat shaped like a chicken. Her image appears next to it, looking grave and unamused. She published it on her Instagram Stories.

The First Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Wine Country’ Is Here—and It’s Hilarious

When news broke that Amy Poehler would be making her directorial debut with the Netflix comedy Wine Country, I could barely contain my excitement—especially after finding out she hired some of her best SNL girlfriends for the cast. The first trailer for the movie dropped on Thursday, April 11, and it’s everything I could’ve imagined and more.

Wine Country follows Poehler’s character, Abby, as she tries to plan a classy Napa getaway for her friend Rebecca (Rachel Dratch), who’s turning 50. She invites her longtime squad along for the ride, which includes comedy heavy hitters like Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey, and Cherry Jones. (Tina Fey also makes an appearance.) It’s essentially just a movie about your favorite SNL women getting tipsy on wine while on vacation, and I’m 100 percent here for it.

Check out the trailer for yourself, below. It’s serving some major Girls’ Trip vibes.

Based on this trailer, it seems these women are going to get into some serious Bridesmaids-esque shenanigans. In just the few short scenes we see, Maya Rudolph gives us a drunk serenade (and falls off the piano), Ana Gasteyer pulls out a bag of drugs, and the rest of the cast all rolls down a hill in unison. According to the film’s tagline, though, “as the alcohol flows, real world uncertainties intrude on the punch lines and gossip, and the women begin questioning their friendships and futures.” As long as all of them are friends again before the hangovers kick in, I’m OK.

Wine Country will debut May 10 on Netflix, so be sure to save a bottle of wine (or three) for the occasion. I seriously can’t wait to watch these women drink chardonnay for two hours.

While you’re waiting for Wine Country, though, check out the best movies currently on Netflix.

Maisie Williams Has a Pretty Hilarious Theory About Game of Thrones and Sophie Turner

Game of Thrones may be coming to an end this year, but the off-screen friendship of Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams will definitely live on. From having matching moments on the red carpet to talking all night long at sleepovers, the Stark sisters have certainly kept their sibling bond going even when the cameras stopped rolling.

In fact, Maisie has a pretty funny theory that the entire eight-season run of the hit HBO series was just a conspiracy for her and Sophie to become BFFs. “It was like one big elaborate thing to find me a best friend. This whole show!” the actor joked with E! News at the premiere for Game of Thrones’s final season.

She’s totally kidding of course, but her friendship with Sophie is definitely the real deal. “It’s been incredible,” Maisie added, telling E! that it’s been so important to have a friend like Sophie during her Game of Thrones journey.

But it hasn’t always been easy; especially when they had to film more ~serious~ scenes together. “You know like when someone’s got little tears because they’re gonna laugh? That’s kind of how I felt the whole time,” Maisie revealed, adding that she was “corpsing” a lot while sharing the screen with Sophie.

While it will definitely be sad to say goodbye to the Stark sisters when Game of Thrones airs its final episode, we have full confidence that the #Mophie legend will keep going. After all, with matching friendship tattoos, an upcoming wedding, and an arsenal of sweet memories between them, we wouldn’t expect anything less.

Watch the First Hilarious Trailer for Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson’s ‘Late Night’

Get excited, people, because the first trailer for Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson‘s new movie, Late Night, is officially here.

The film has been riding a wave of buzz since it premiered at Sundance and was subsequently purchased by Amazon Studios for a record-breaking $13 million. This new trailer sets the scene and the tone (sharp and hilarious, of course) as Thompson’s character, Katherine Newbury, is in danger of being ousted from her long-running late-night talk show. Enter Kaling’s Molly, who provides a perspective that’s lacking in the all-white male writers room. Katherine hopes Molly can help shake things up enough to save the show. “You’re a little old and a little white,” says Molly of her new boss. And Katherine says, “I need your pushiness and lack of boundaries.”

A story centered on two smart, complicated women making their way in a world primarily dominated by white men? You had me at “hello.” But after watching the trailer, I’m even more excited. Not that I should have doubted the dialogue would be quick (Kaling also wrote and produced the movie) or the performances great (it’s Emma freaking Thompson, who along with being one of our greatest living actors, is also a badass who stands up to sexual harassment). Even better: The movie also has a female director, Nisha Ganatra.

“I think this movie setting a record at Sundance is so important because the leads are a woman over the age of 50 and a woman of color,” Ganatra told Glamour at Sundance. “That, sadly, is radical alone, but there was so much talk of ‘Oh my God, will this make money? Is this marketable? Who will go see this?’ The fact that this movie broke the record at Sundance is so significant and so exciting and so amazing because it validates that you can tell your story. You can tell the story that people don’t think is worth telling, and it will find its audience and people will reward you for it.”

Late Night hits theaters June 7, 2019.

Miley Cyrus Wrote a Hilarious Valentine's Day Message to Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus kicked off her first Valentine’s Day married to Liam Hemsworth in the most Miley Cyrus way: by posting a hilarious meme.

The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer took to Instagram Stories Wednesday night (February 13) and posted a throwback photo of herself from the Bangerz Tour with the caption, “When it’s Valentine’s Day and bae says hi.” She also tagged Hemsworth and wrote “Love u.” When you see the photo, you’ll instantly understand why it’s funny.

Check out the meme for yourself, below:

Here’s the original photo, which was taken in Dublin back in May 2014. Ahhh, simpler times—when Cyrus’ stage prop of choice was a foam finger and she slid down a giant tongue at the top of her show. Take me back.

This isn’t the only racy message Miley Cyrus has sent Liam Hemsworth this week. On Monday, she attended the premiere of Hemsworth’s new movie Isn’t It Romantic by herself because he was sick, and she posted to Instagram, “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you.” Listen, everyone jumps out in February! It’s scientific fact.

Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot back in December, and they’ve made a few appearances together since then. Last month, they attended the G’Day USA Gala, where Hemsworth praised Cyrus while accepting the Excellence in Film Award. “Thank you to my beautiful wife,” he said. “You are a sweet, sweet angel.”

And just a few days before this, Cyrus wrote the sweetest note to Hemsworth for his birthday. “I love those little lines around your eyes when you laugh or look into the sun…. I love the way we speak in our own language. Sometimes with just a look,” she wrote on Instagram. “I love laying on the couch eating Chinese when we’re hung over from the night before. I love going to a random party and remembering basically everyone is fake AF out here and how lucky I am to share a life with someone so REAL. I love the way you always listen & the way that you care… (Even when it’s about RuPaul’s Drag Race.) I love having a teeth brushin’ partner & when I’m lazy how you’ll comb my hair.”

Ellen DeGeneres and Milo Ventimiglia Did a Hilarious *Bachelor* Parody For Halloween

Ellen DeGeneres has a pretty strong Halloween game, but she took things up a notch today by dressing up as a Bachelor contestant and staging a full reenactment of the hit dating show. I’m not exaggerating, either: On Wednesday’s episode of Ellen, the comedy powerhouse threw on a silver gown, long blond wig, and dubbed herself “Kelllly D.,” a dental assistant whose only agenda on The Bachelor is to find a man and drink tequila. So, in other words, she has the first impression rose in the bag.

Her suitor, if you’re curious, was none other than Milo Ventimiglia, a.k.a Jack Pearson on This Is Us, a.k.a the Internet’s collective husband. The two shared a super sweet two minutes together than included “Kelllly” making this A+ dental pun: “Would you like me to examine your mouth with my tongue?” FitTea, go ahead and line up a spon-con deal for “Kelllly” because she’s already a Bachelor Nation fan favorite.

She’s also a smart contestant, too. In the off chance that Milo didn’t pick her, she had a backup ready to go: Nick Viall, a Bachelor veteran. However, he decided to kick it with one of “Kelllly’s” competitors in a hot tub instead. Rude! “Kelllly” shouldn’t sweat it, though. I mean, did she see Nick’s moves on Dancing With the Stars? (Kidding.)

Unfortunately, Milo ended up picking another contestant (Rebel Wilson!), so “Kelllly” went home. In a perfectly rational exit interview, she said, “I don’t even like him. I like artichokes, OK? That’s why I’m scared of parakeets.” Yup, I 100 percent feel you, K. We’ve all been there.
