Beyonce Wore a $165 Dress to Rihanna's Diamond Ball

We’ve seriously missed Beyoncé during her hiatus from the spotlight. (Though, she has blessed us with some pretty epic pictures of her and her newborn twins, Rumi and Sir Carter.) Last night, our wishes for more Queen Bey were granted, finally, when she made her grand re-entrance to the red carpet at Rihanna’s third annual Diamond Ball. Well, she technically didn’t stop at the step-and-repeat—but she gamely posed for pictures inside of the charity event with all of our favorite attendees. Our favorite part about this appearance, though? How surprisingly affordable her ensemble was.

For Rihanna’s ultra-fancy gala, Beyoncé opted or a teal satin maxi dress by London-based brand House of CB, according to InStyle. However, unlike the other gowns on display at the Diamond Ball, her exact style retails for only $165. (She paired the affordable wrap silhouette with Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels, because even Queen Bey enjoys a good high-low moment.)

The Serafina (Beyoncé’s style of choice) is in stock on House of CB’s online shop, surprisingly enough. But if the hype around any of her other shoppable endeavors is any indication (hi, Ivy Park), it won’t be available much longer.

Not every celebrity could make a budget-friendly dress look this luxe—but then again, not every celebrity is Beyoncé. We’re hoping that her next public appearance will include more affordable pieces to copy. (She’s been known to rock her House of CB as well as her Gucci, after all.)

Until that next bit of outfit inspo, see some more pictures of how Queen Bey styled her affordable ensemble, below.

Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Veronica’s Wedding Dress on ‘Riverdale’

Riverdale has a lot of questions to answer when the second season unfolds: Who shot Fred? Does Jughead have an evil twin? Why—lord, why?—is Veronica wearing a wedding dress? Where do you even buy a wedding dress in Riverdale, where the only noteworthy retail establishment is Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe?

You’ll have to wait until the October 11 season premiere for answers to most of those questions, but we went ahead and solved the last mystery for you. Paparazzi photos from the Riverdale set and the season two trailer showed us enough of Veronica’s wedding dress that we were able to track down the exact style. Here are the on-set photos, if you need a reminder:

Veronica’s dress is the Taciana gown from Pronovias, which makes sense, since the Spanish design house’s U.S. flagship store is located in New York City, the city that the disgraced Veronica and Hermione Lodge were fleeing when they landed in Riverdale. Of course Ronnie would go back to her big-city roots to shop for a wedding dress. Pronovias’ wedding gowns are also carried at Kleinfeld, which is located in NYC as well. (Are you picturing Veronica’s Say Yes moment? Us, too.)

Here’s a photo of the full dress:

Given the dress’s intricate rear view, we’re kind of surprised that bride Veronica wore her hair down, but hey, it’s her day.

If you’re a bride dreaming of your own Veronica Lodge moment, bad news: It seems Pronovias has discontinued the Taciana gown. (A link on their site redirects, and The Knot lists the dress as archived.) The good news is, Pronovias still has a bunch of very similar styles:

And the Taciana wedding dress is available on used-wedding-dress sites, including Preowned Wedding Dresses and Sell My Wedding Dress. If you’re looking to copy Jughead and Archie’s wedding attire—formal vests, kilts, and ankle-tied dress shoes—you’re on your own.

Bella Hadid Wore a Cardigan as a Dress, and Honestly We Don't Hate It

Bella Hadid could belt a paper bag and still look like the coolest girl in the room, so we’re honestly not that surprised that she just made a piece of basic outerwear into a fashion statement.

The model was spotted leaving the Prabal Gurung fashion show during New York Fashion Week wearing a black cardigan as a mini dress, paired with knee-high black boots and her signature little shades. We can’t even call this a sweater dress because, well, note the zipper and the hood. Belted with a fanny pack and fitted to sit off-the-shoulder, we had to do a double take to realize it is in fact, a sweatshirt-style cardigan. Take a look:

And a closer one:

Bella wore the same cardigan while she was rehearsing for the Prabal Gurung show earlier that day. However she paired it with a simple white T-shirt underneath, and left off the fanny pack belt.

Whether the look was created because Bella forgot to pack a change of clothes to wear for the rest of the night or just really believed in the knit piece’s going-out potential, we’re into it.

Selena Gomez Looked Stunning in This Fresh Take on the Naked Dress

Ah, the naked dress. Whether made from a single string or worn only with a thong, it’s one trend that is definitely not for the faint of heart. Unless, of course, you consider Selena Gomez‘s fresh—and completely romantic—take on the look, which she wore to the Business of Fashion’s #BoF500 party last night in New York City.

The “Fetish” singer skipped the mesh and almost completely sheer versions favored by the Kardashian clan when she stepped out, opting instead for a decidedly less see-through dress from Rodarte’s Spring 2018 Ready to Wear collection. The fabric, a medium-translucent beige lace, let the dark high-waisted briefs Gomez was wearing underneath peek through. It’s a beautiful look: the juxtaposition of light and dark helps set off the gown’s beautiful beading and floral appliqué.

Gomez was at the event celebrating her BoF 500 cover, which she shared on Instagram earlier this week saying she was “very grateful” for the honor.

Here’s a closer look at her dreamy gown:

As you can see, Gomez’s longtime makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, channeled retro glamour to finish off her look: he put a deep side part in her wavy bob (something we’ve been seeing all over the runways this Fashion Week) and paired it with a dark burgundy lip.

The overall look is very Old Hollywood-meets-woodland-fairy, and we’re here for it. Although we won’t know what her brand-new (and adorable) puppy thought about Selena’s look, her Instagram Story from later that night reveals how Charlie feels about the star herself, and it’s super cute:
