Chrissy Teigen Had the Best Response to a Troll Who Accused Her of Photoshopping Her Butt


At this point, Instagram users have to know that coming for Chrissy Teigen in her comments is not going to end well for them. Unfortunately, there are still fans out there who haven’t received the memo. Either that or they’re hoping to be called out by the supermodel, which isn’t a good look.

On February 6, Teigen posted a pic in a pair of…interesting leggings that were sent to her house as a gift:

As you can see, images of Teigen’s very famous husband, John Legend, are affixed to both cheeks and surrounded by hearts. “we get…really random stuff sent to the house,” Teigen captioned the photo. Really random stuff, indeed. Perhaps the sender was inspired by those Sexiest Man Alive onesies the model mom had made in honor of her husband’s latest accomplishment?

Anyway, what should have been just a silly moment on the ‘gram went sour when the Instagram account @fvcksympathy replied, “photoshopped. Why didn’t it [Teigen’s butt] look like that when John was in the jacuzzi, like wth is that ??” At least their username is accurate.

For context, the user is likely referring to a paparazzi photo from 2019 that seems to show Legend looking disappointedly at his wife’s derriere in a jacuzzi (which probably wasn’t even the case). At the time, Teigen hit back at body-shamers by tweeting, “everyone so used to ass shots and photoshopped instagrams. I’ve had no ass forever—is this new news to some of you?”

Teigen used the same energy to reply to her latest troll. “Maybe you’ve just never seen a girl in this position before but it’s good for looking like you have an ass,” she wrote back.

Just this past December, Teigen went up against another rude fan who told her to “cover up” after the mother of two posted a sweet pic with her daughter, Luna, that just so happened to feature some side boob. “Your daughter is right there,” the user protested.

“She sucked it for months and doesn’t mind it much,” Teigen shot back.

Will these ridiculous attacks against Chrissy Teigen ever cease? Who knows. One thing is for sure: she’s never going to take them lying down.

Victoria's Secret Exec Accused of Sexually Harassing Employees and Models: Report


A new New York Times report has exposed the alleged “culture of misogyny inside Victoria’s Secret.” The report, which was published on February 1, features interviews with over 30 current and former executives, employees, and models who claim the brand has a history of misogyny, bullying, and sexual harassment.

Most allegations revolved around Ed Razek, former president and chief marketing officer, who stepped down from his position in August 2019 after making controversial comments about hiring transgender or curvy models for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

In one of the alleged incidents, Razek made lewd comments about Bella Hadid before the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show as she was getting measured for underwear. According to newspaper, he was sitting on a couch in the same room and allegedly said “forget the panties” before commenting that she should walk “down the runway with those perfect” breasts.

The allegations come just months after the 23-year-old supermodel admitted that she had never felt comfortable on the runway until walking in Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty show.

“That was the first time on a runway that I felt really sexy. Because when I first did Fenty, I was doing other lingerie shows and I never felt powerful on a runway, like, in my underwear,” Hadid said.

Model Andi Muise, who had participated in the VS fashion show for two consecutive years, said she repeatedly turned down Razek’s advances in 2007 and then was not cast in the next year’s show.

The Times also alleges Razek touched another model’s privates over her underwear, among several other allegations, including harassing women with intimate emails, asking them to sit on his lap, and trying to kiss them.

The report further alleges that L Brands founder and owner Leslie Wexner was aware of Razek’s behavior, but that he was also known to allegedly abuse his power and use demeaning language toward women.

“What was most alarming to me, as someone who was always raised as an independent woman, was just how ingrained this behavior was,” a former public relations employee said to the Times. “This abuse was just laughed off and accepted as normal. It was almost like brainwashing. And anyone who tried to do anything about it wasn’t just ignored. They were punished.”

Razek has since denied the allegations to the Times, insisting they are “categorically untrue, misconstrued or taken out of context,” adding that he’s been “fortunate to work with countless, world-class models and gifted professionals and take great pride in the mutual respect we have for each other.”

Victoria’s Secret has not addressed the accusations.

Ariana Grande Shut Down a Troll Who Accused Her of Using Autotune in Concerts


On Friday, August 30, Ariana Grande defended her vocal abilities after a hater called her out for possibly auto-tuning her voice. The “Thank U, Next” hitmaker, who is currently on the European leg of her Sweetener world tour, shared a snippet of herself on Instagram singing “Breathin” at one of her concerts. However, one person decided to question whether she can hold a note for that long. Grande really did not appreciate the accusation, so she clapped back in epic proportion—making it clear she’s just relying on her pipes.

“It sounds like autotune and probably not live. I mean you are a great singer and I love your voice and your songs but this doesn’t sound live,” the person wrote under her Instagram post.

“naw, with all due respect I could do this in your living room for you, fam. with no sound mixing or help at all,” Grande replied in the comments section.

“I could do it on broadway (and did). I can do it in the shower. it’s my gift / it’s why I’m here. I sing 30+ songs a night. every word. it’s my thing. let me shine like damn,” she added.

Grande’s clapback came shortly after she was forced to cancel a meet-and-greet with fans in Belgium due to mental health reasons. According to a screenshot taken by HuffPost UK, the singer announced the cancellation on her Instagram Story on Friday (August 30) ahead of her concert.

In the statement, she shared that her “anxiety and depression have been at an all-time high lately” and that she would rather “preserve her energy for the show.”

The pop star, who has been notably candid about her struggles with mental health and about how therapy “saved her life,” then opened up what she’s going through, telling fans that sometimes the way she feels is out of her control.

“Hi my loves,” Grande allegedly wrote. “Time for some honesty. My depression and anxiety have been at an all-time high lately. I have been giving you all I’ve got and trying to push through as hard as I can and mask it.”

“Today has been an extra rough one. After a handful of panic attacks, I feel like the wisest decision would be to not do soundcheck party or [meet-and-greet] today and preserve my energy for the show,” she continued. “I don’t want to rush through our time together or seem shaky. I like spending actual time with you and I won’t be able to be present or give you the best of me today.”

“I wish I had control over these attacks but as anybody with anxiety or depression understands, sometimes you can only operate on its terms and not your own,” Grande added.

Kim Kardashian’s New Shapewear Brand Is Being Accused of Cultural Appropriation


Earlier this week Kim Kardashian West announced she’d be launching yet another new business venture: an affordable, size-inclusive shapewear line.

“Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years,” she wrote on Instagram. “I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a [shapewear] color that blended with my skin tone, so we needed a solution for all of this.”

Many were excited about the range of the collection: pieces going up to a 4XL, available in nine different shades, priced accessibly. However, in the days since her reveal, there has been backlash bubbling up on the Internet because of the brand’s name, Kimono.

People have accused Kardashian West of cultural appropriation over the name of her shapewear line. There’s even a hashtag: #KimOhNo.

“Wow, @KimKardashian. Thanks for BUTCHERING Japanese culture!!! My culture is not your plaything.” one Twitter user wrote. “You don’t have any respect for people who are not your family, do you? In the 15 yrs developing this project, couldn’t you find a cultural advisor?”

“The year is 2039. A child is asked what a kimono is. They reply with “Kim Kardashian’s shapewear range.” And there begins the gradual erasure & dilution of the kimono’s rich cultural history for future generations. One of many reasons why trademarking it is NOT OKAY #KimOhNo,” another said.

Kylie Jenner Has Reportedly Accused Travis Scott of Cheating


When it rains in the Kardashian-Jenner house, it pours: TMZ is now reporting Kylie Jenner has accused Travis Scott of cheating. This comes roughly one week after news broke Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloé Kardashian with Kylie’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. It’s a lot to keep up with—pun completely intended.

So let’s focus on one thing at a time. Travis postponed his AstroWorld concert in Buffalo, New York on Thursday night (February 28), citing illness, but TMZ offers a different story. According to the outlet, Kylie accused Travis of cheating, and he opted to stay in Los Angeles to work things out with her. This whole saga reportedly started on Wednesday, when Travis flew home to surprise Kylie and their baby, Stormi, and she discovered “evidence” of his cheating. Per TMZ, a fight then ensued.

For what it’s worth, a rep for Travis tells People he strongly denies the cheating accusations. Kylie Jenner hasn’t commented on this situation—yet.

This is all unfolding as Jordyn Woods is set to appear on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk series and, presumably, open up about what happened with Tristan the evening they allegedly hooked up. She’s only talked about the situation once—and it was brief, at an event launching her false eyelash collaboration with Eylure. “Thank you guys for coming out and supporting me through everything that’s going on,” she said, according to a video captured by beauty influencer Jade Simone. “It’s been real, and Eylure has been super real with a project I’ve been working on for over nine months right now.”

Kylie, meanwhile, is reportedly torn about what happened. “Jordyn has been like Kylie’s sister,” a source tells People. “They were inseparable, and always together. Jordyn often helped Kylie with Stormi. Kylie was always so excited to have Jordyn around. It seems Kylie isn’t sure what to do, but it seems impossible for her to keep Jordyn around.”

Walmart Is Being Accused of Only Locking up Black Hair Products Again


Imagine going to buy shampoo and conditioner at your local drugstore only to find that the products made specifically for your hair texture are locked up behind glass. It’s an unsettling reality that’s happened to black women time and time again, and most recently to Patricia Fulford during her Saturday morning trip to a Long Island Walmart. “I went to where [my hair products] are usually kept, and I looked up and down the aisle for about a minute or so before discovering that they were in a case locked with a key,” Fulford tells Glamour. Eventually, she went to find a manager after waiting for an associate to come back with the key.

But it wasn’t the wait that bothered her. It was the implication that black women were more likely to steal than others. After asking the store manager—and then customer service—why hair products made specifically for textured hair were locked up, she was then told those items were frequently stolen in the past. Fulford did end up buying what she needed, but not before posting about the interaction on Facebook. “I need to ask the manager at Riverhead Walmart why is it that the black hair products are the only ones under lock and key and now I have to wait for them to find the key smh,” she wrote, along with a photo of products from brands like SheaMoisture, Carol’s Daughter, and Cantu behind a glass case. She later ended up returning the products after she was able to buy them without assistance at Target.

As these instances have in the past, her post started to go viral and began garnering national attention: both positive and negative. Fulford tells Glamour she soon deleted her post after receiving an influx of hateful and racist comments—including some in which people accused her of being a thief. “It started taking a toll on me physically and emotionally,” she says. “So in order to prevent most of it, I decided to delete it. People were trolling my personal page. I had to change my profile picture and make my page private.”

Fulford didn’t let the backlash deter her from doing what she felt was right. “I never wanted this fight with Walmart, ok. never,” Fulford wrote on her Facebook page. “But it was not right for products to be locked up targeted toward one race. I really don’t care about your negative ignorant comments.” According to Fulford’s local news outlet, Riverhead Local, she met with a town councilmember and co-chairperson of the town’s anti-bias task force, who went to Walmart to look into the complaint. The president of the NAACP’s Eastern Long Island branch said the organization is also looking into the matter.

Walmart gave Glamour the following statement:

“We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind at Walmart. We serve more than 140 million customers weekly, crossing all demographics, and are focused on meeting their needs while providing the best shopping experience at each store. Like other retailers, Walmart uses enhanced security on some products such as electronics, automotive, cosmetics and other personal care products. Those determinations are made on a store-by-store basis using data supporting the need for the heightened measures. Our goal is to ensure that we offer a wide variety of products to our diverse array of customers at the low prices they have come to expect.”

Shortly after the incident, Fulford’s local Walmart removed the products that were locked up and put them on open shelves with all the rest. “We did it‼️‼️‼️ the locks are off Riverhead and Middle Island they heard US loud and clear,” Fulford wrote in a new post on Facebook. “Thank you everyone who supported my efforts so that everyone can have the same shopping experience at our local Walmarts. It was tiring at times but well worth it. Thank you for your encouraging text, calls and posts we did it‼️‼️‼️????????”

This isn’t the first time that Walmart has been accused of racial discrimination. In January 2018, a California woman filed a lawsuit against Walmart. The woman, Essie Grundy, alleged that the company violated her civil rights by keeping African-American personal care products locked up in a glass anti-theft case. Meanwhile, she claims similar products not geared toward women of color were easily accessible and did not require employee assistance to buy. Grundy’s suit, filed by women’s rights lawyer Gloria Allred, refers to California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, a law that prohibits businesses from discriminating against customers on account of their race. Allred told Glamour that keeping products marketed to a specific race under lock and key, regardless of security concerns, is unlawful. The case is still in pending in court.
