The Kardashians Annual Christmas Eve Party Was as Over-the-Top as Ever


Kendall wore a black gown with a feathered neckline, Khloé was in a gold dress, and Kourtney stunned in red.

As for Kylie, she shared a photo of herself and her daughter Stormi, dressed in matching dark green haute couture by Ralph & Russo. The gown featured featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a thigh-high leg slit, which she paired with dark green diamond necklace.

“Most wonderful time of the year,” she captioned the shot.

Kim also went for an off-the-shoulder gown, which featured a snakeskin-print.

The guest list included Scott Disick, Sofia Richie and even some of the family’s famous exes.

Travis Scott was there…

…and Khloé’s ex Tristan Thompson also made an appearance.

Meanwhile, a gift-wrapped Sia provided the music for the night, singing from a doll box as dancers performed on stage beside her. The Kardashian sisters shared videos of her performing songs like “Chandelier.”

Kim even caught the moment the singer admitted she wants to join their family.

“You guys are my favorite. I was looking to get an adult adoption from Kris, but we realized tonight that I could marry Rob!” Sia jokingly said, adding, “I didn’t realize there’s more than one way to become a Kardashian. Obviously that’s what I’m trying to do.”

If being a Kardashian means getting an invite to this party, then we all volunteer as tribute.

Kim Kardashian’s 2019 Christmas Card Is Her Most Low-Key Yet


Kim Kardashian and Kanye West revealed their 2019 Christmas card on Friday, December 13, and it’s the family’s most understated yet. Instead of a group pic with their extended fam, Kardashian and West opted to keep things intimate this time around, posing with only their children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. The family dressed down in matching gray sweats, with Kanye breaking up the color palette in a crisp white sweater. It’s cozy, simple, and incredibly sweet.

This pic is a far cry from the Kardashian family Christmas cards of years past, which have always been massive productions. Need we remind you of last year’s, which almost didn’t come together due to the family’s hectic schedules?

“CHRISTMAS 2018. This year we waited until the last minute to do a card. Schedules were changing, my husband was in and out of town,” Kardashian captioned at the time. “But the day of this card last minute realized we were all together so we had all of our kids come meet us. Kendall and my mom rushed to a meeting after this shoot so this is what we have! As many of us as possible! From our family to yours Merry Christmas.”

Or how about the card from 2015, which featured only the Kardashian-Jenner grandchildren?

It’s been a hectic year for Kardashian West, who welcomed her fourth child, Psalm, via surrogate in May and revealed to Vogue magazine earlier this year she’s studying to become a lawyer. “It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society,” she told the publication. “I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.”

I Tried Khloé Kardashian’s Easy Trick for Glowy Skin


The first and only time I have ever been early in my life was when I was born a few weeks ahead of my due date. Ever since then, I’ve been running behind, always showing up in the nick of time or fashionably late. I also refuse to leave the house without makeup on (thank you, acne), which is a terrible combination that leaves me scrambling to get out of the house as quickly as possible. So when I hear a tip that promises to cut my getting-ready time in half, I’m all ears.

The latest suggestion came from an unlikely source: Khloé Kardashian. (I have nothing against the Kardashians; I just tend to look toward vintage starlets and ’90s It girls for beauty inspiration rather than their current-day Calabasas counterparts.) In a new Vogue Beauty Secrets video, Kardashian details how her makeup routine has changed since becoming a mom. “I’ve had to learn how to do makeup really quickly and not do too many wet things,” she says. “If it’s wet and I have to run after [True], it’s going to set really weird and I’m gonna look super blotchy.”

While Kardashian still gets her makeup done on days when the family is filming, on her day off she relies on a homemade BB cream to get her face on as fast as possible. In the video she starts by applying her skin care, skipping moisturizer and going right to sunscreen. She then reaches for her Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer. At first I thought it was that odd she applied SPF under her moisturizer, but when she then reached for her Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick, it started to click.

Kardashian mixed the two products together on the back of her hand with a Kabuki brush and then quickly stippled it all over her face. The result was a super-glowy lightweight veil of color that she applied in less than a minute. Seeing as I covet luminous skin and conveniently had both products in my stash, I decided to put it to the test.

The cream is very whipped and luxurious, so you don’t need a lot. I prefer a little more coverage, so I found luck with about a 2.5 to 1 ratio of foundation to moisturizer, but if you want to show more skin, just add less foundation. I think the combo would work with any foundation stick and moisturizer you have on hand, but the textures of these two are very luxe and they feel nice and creamy when mixed together. I’ve also found the Tom Ford to be a little heavy for my skin when I’ve used it solo, so this is a great way to make it more wearable for me.

Kim Kardashian’s New Shapewear Brand Is Being Accused of Cultural Appropriation


Earlier this week Kim Kardashian West announced she’d be launching yet another new business venture: an affordable, size-inclusive shapewear line.

“Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years,” she wrote on Instagram. “I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a [shapewear] color that blended with my skin tone, so we needed a solution for all of this.”

Many were excited about the range of the collection: pieces going up to a 4XL, available in nine different shades, priced accessibly. However, in the days since her reveal, there has been backlash bubbling up on the Internet because of the brand’s name, Kimono.

People have accused Kardashian West of cultural appropriation over the name of her shapewear line. There’s even a hashtag: #KimOhNo.

“Wow, @KimKardashian. Thanks for BUTCHERING Japanese culture!!! My culture is not your plaything.” one Twitter user wrote. “You don’t have any respect for people who are not your family, do you? In the 15 yrs developing this project, couldn’t you find a cultural advisor?”

“The year is 2039. A child is asked what a kimono is. They reply with “Kim Kardashian’s shapewear range.” And there begins the gradual erasure & dilution of the kimono’s rich cultural history for future generations. One of many reasons why trademarking it is NOT OKAY #KimOhNo,” another said.

Watch the Moment When the Kardashians Found Out About Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods


Ever since news broke that Khloé Kardashian‘s boyfriend (and father of her daughter, True), Tristan Thompson, had allegedly hooked up with her sister Kylie Jenner‘s best friend Jordyn Woods, fans have been waiting to see the drama unfold on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Now, the moment has finally arrived. In a new clip from Sunday’s upcoming finale, we get to see the moment Kim Kardashian learns about the scandal and quickly loops in Kourtney, Khloé, and Kylie on an epic conference call. Kim is waiting to film some of her confessional interviews, just as she was the first time a cheating story about Thompson broke: “My friend Larsa [Pippen] called me to explain that a reporter that she knows was about to write a story that Jordyn and Tristan were at his home last night, or until 7 in the morning,” she says. “They said they were, like, making out and I immediately didn’t believe it. You know, I was, like, this can’t be true.”

We then see her on a call with Khloé and Kourt, where Khloé says she has talked to Jordyn. “It’s really weird,” she says. “She’s not giving me all the information. She was like, ‘He was trying to kiss me…’ and was like, ‘I can’t remember if we did or didn’t.'” This is when Kylie gets looped in and learns the allegation about Jordyn sitting on Tristan’s lap.

It’s all pretty dramatic—and this seems like just the tip of the iceberg. As anyone who’s been following the story knows, Thompson and Khloé broke up. Woods eventually moved out of Kylie’s house in the aftermath, and later appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk to tell her side of the story. (There have been rumors that Woods and Kylie are hanging out again.)

Kim Kardashians Says She and Her Sisters Fight After They Watch Episodes of *KUWTK*


With Keeping Up With the Kardashians now marking its 15th season of petty fights and rich people drama on the network, its main star, Kim Kardashian, has reached a creative milestone in her own right. The reality star appeared on the latest episode of Ashley Graham’s podcast to talk about the longevity of her career, revealing that E! has always given her unprecedented creative control when it comes to editing and approving scenes for the show. “I’m not in the actual editing room but I watch every cut and every edit,” she explained. “And that, I think, has always been the magic to being ourselves and showing everything, because we know that we could really have a say in it. [It’s] really rare for them to give us that from the start.”

Kardashian’s control is similar to the one her mother, Kris Jenner, has possessed for many years on the network, which has been criticized for the sheer scope of its influence—by fellow E! stars, no less. Still, Kardashian makes it clear that her creative involvement isn’t to make her look better in comparison to other family members: “We’ve never really edited out crazy content.” All of their infamous on-screen fights, in fact, have become a fundamental tenet of the show—as silly as that sounds—but re-watching those moments when they air still isn’t a fun experience for the family.

“When you watch it, you get heated all over again. We literally start fighting all over again over the same thing,” Kardashian continued. “Even if we like are so crazy mad at each other, it won’t be long before we’re all good. The fact that so many people text me even now if a rerun comes on, they’re like, ‘Are you and Kourtney okay?’ And I’m like, ‘We went on vacation together. This has been months since we filmed that.’” Ah, the magic of television.
