Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Went on Not One, But Two Double Dates With Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas This Weekend


Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been in all the headlines lately, thanks to a seemingly never-ending series of (gorgeous) wedding celebrations in Mumbai. Now, however, it appears that the newlyweds are in London, where they joined Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner for a double date.

The four had a late lunch in London’s Mayfair neighborhood on Sunday—a favorite area for the friends to dine out in. Specifically, they headed to Sexy Fish, and yes, that is the restaurant’s real name.

But that wasn’t the only double date they went on: The four headed out for dinner in Covent Garden on Saturday night, too. The newlyweds were spotted holding hands as they left The Delaunay in Covent Garden, Chopra wearing a neon-green version of the knitted cardigans that have been all over Instagram. They had another guest at the meal too: the Jonas’ younger brother, Frankie.

Date nights aside, Chopra has another reason to be proud of her new husband: Nick was named GQ‘s most stylish man on Friday—and the style icon in her own right is pretty excited about it.

Time will tell if the four are spending Christmas together, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for more London fun with these four.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Say Their 'Perfect' Wedding Weekend Was 'All Tears'


Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding weekend wrapped on Sunday night, and it included 225 guests, elaborate musical numbers, and not one but two ceremonies. People magazine chatted with the couple about the festivities leading up to “I do,” and it all just sounds, well, “perfect.”

“The emotions were running high during the ceremonies, I think especially during the Western wedding for me,” Jonas says. (The couple had both a traditional Hindu wedding and a Western ceremony.) “You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional.”

Chopra echoes this sentiment. “It was all tears. All tears,” she says. “I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”

The celebration took place over four days at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, a lavish residence that boasts 347 rooms, a full-service hotel, and a museum. The couple had a Mehendi ceremony on November 30, where they received henna tattoos, and a Sangeet ceremony later that night included elaborate musical performances from both Chopra and Jonas. A Western ceremony, where Chopra wore a stunning Ralph Lauren gown with a 75=foot long veil, took place on Saturday (December 1), and the Hindu wedding took place on Sunday.

“I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up,” Chopra says. “We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It’s been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way.”

See All the Celebrity Guests Arriving For Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra's Wedding Weekend


We’ve heard all about the first date “back pat”, the romantic proposal, the Amazon gift registry, and the Hindu puja ceremony, but now the Priyanka Chopra/Nick Jonas wedding weekend is kicking into high gear as their celebrity family and friends are starting to arrive in India.

Sadly, there are two very famous faces who won’t be making the journey to Jodhpur to watch the couple tie the knot in the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Us Weekly reports that Priyanka’s close friend Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, will not be attendance even though the bride was a guest at their royal wedding back in May. “Meghan will not be going to Priyanka’s wedding, especially now that she is pregnant,” says one of their sources.

While we really wish we’d get to see the Duke and Duchess dressed for a traditional Hindu ceremony, there will be no shortage of A-listers for the nuptials and many of them have already touched down in Jodhpur.

First up, the bride and groom arrived at the airport to massive crowds, but looking happy and radiant.

And what’s a wedding without your family. Nick’s brother Joe Jonas and his fiancée Sophie Turner are obviously on the guest list. Plus, Turner and Chopra already nicknamed themselves the “J Sisters” during what looked to be an amazing bachelorette weekend in Amsterdam.

The third Jonas Brother, Kevin, and his wife Danielle also made the long trip. Danielle previously missed out on the bachelorette fun because they were moving into a new house.

Nick’s parents, Denise and Paul, along with Priyanka’s mother, Madhu, and other members are her family were also spotted on arrival. Actor Jack McBrayer of 30 Rock fame is in town for the wedding and while Armie Hammer and his wife Elizabeth Chambers have not yet been photographed, it would be a surprise if they weren’t in attendance. Chambers was photographed at the bachelorette weekend with Chopra in Amsterdam.

Priyanka Chopra's Bachelorette Weekend in Amsterdam Looks Incredible


Priyanka Chopra‘s bachelorette party—make that a bachelorette weekend—is underway, and honestly, the photos that have been posted from the trip so far look amazing. If you haven’t heard, she’s getting ready to marry Nick Jonas, reportedly in Jodhpur, India on December 2: The two had a traditional Hindu engagement ceremony earlier this year, and last Sunday, Chopra had her bridal shower at the iconic Manhattan location of Tiffany’s (wearing a feathery bridal gown, no less).

We spotted the celebrations on Priyanka’s Instagram page, where she put up a picture of her on an Amsterdam canal. In the photo, she’s smiling gorgeously—and her engagement ring is sparkling in the light. She’s also still going strong with the feather motif, too; this time, however, they’re a detail on her sweater rather than on a wedding dress—though we wouldn’t be surprised if they make another appearance as an appliqué on her gown on the big day.

Nick’s mom also had a playful message for her future daughter-in-law: “Be good!” she commented on Priyanka’s post.

The festivities seem to continue under the hashtag #pcsbachelorette with pics posted by both Chopra and her friend, filmmaker Shrishti Behl Arya (she posted the below Stories). From Arya’s stories alone, the weekend looks like a great time, what with the canal cruising, buckets of champagne, and incredible lunch spreads.

Jamie Lee Curtis Can't Help Bragging About Halloween's Record-Breaking Opening Weekend


Almost exactly 40 years after she made her film debut as Laurie Strode in 1978’s Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis is still unbelievably proud to be a member of the Strode family.

On Sunday, as the film’s 2018 sequel of the same name wrapped up a record-smashing opening weekend at the box office, Curtis shared her excitement about the film’s debut on Instagram. “OK. I’m going to go for one BOAST post,” she captioned a photo of her standing next to Judy Greer and Andi Matichak, who play her daughter and granddaughter, respectively, in the new horror film.

“Biggest horror movie opening with a female lead. Biggest movie opening with a female lead over 55. Second biggest horror movie opening ever. Second biggest October movie opening ever. Biggest Halloween opening ever. Couldn’t be prouder of ALL who made this creative experiment have such a thrilling result!” Curtis continued, adding, “#womengetthingsdone #threetallwomen #threestrodewomen #strodestrong #timesup.”

The post earned tons of supportive comments from many of Curtis’s past costars. “Yes queen,” Emma Roberts wrote. “CONGRATULATIONS,” Abigail Breslin added, while Niecy Nash commented, “Congrats my Queen!!!” alongside plenty of red heart emojis.

According to Box Office Mojo, in its opening weekend, Halloween raked in $77.5 million in the U.S., plus another $14.3 million internationally. That $91.8 million total does indeed set all the records Curtis mentioned in her post. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the biggest horror movie opening came courtesy of 2017’s It, which garnered a whopping $123.4 million in its first few days in theaters. The biggest October opening, meanwhile, goes to Venom, which premiered just a few weeks before Halloween to an $80 million opening.

Beyond just financial success, Halloween has also been praised by many critics. The movie is already “certified fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, with 80 percent positive reviews, and it has a respectable B+ rating on Cinemascore. Of course, we here at Glamour have also praised the film, noting that it’s strongest as a “tribute to the many ironies of the mother-daughter relationship.”
