Even when she’s not dazzling the world (and Nick Jonas) on red carpets, Priyanka Chopra always looks on point. She’s also pretty adept at the art of the high-low mix: a $3,100 Prada bag with $50 American Eagle jeans, a $130 Mango blazer with $695 Stuart Weitzman boots. This week, she stepped out in New York City and showed that she can make a $30 skirt look priceless.
The skirt in question is part of the upcoming Vineyard Vines for Target collection, which was announced earlier this year. Chopra turned up in NYC for a launch party for the collaboration and opted for a flowing blue-and-white striped midi skirt tied at the waist. She paired it with a $210 white sleeveless turtleneck bodysuit from Wolford for a look that was classic summer—but topped off with a Max Mara coat, because it’s still chilly in NYC.

Vineyard Vines for Target’s nautical-chic collection is made up of more than 300 items that include clothing, swim, and home goods and retail from $2 and $120. Sizes range go from XS to 3X. If you’re super-into Chopra’s skirt, the collection includes a $20 off-the-shoulder-top that pairs with the skirt that Chopra wore.
Alas, you’ll have to hold onto your wallet until May 18, when the collection launches. But if you really can’t bear to wait that long for it, you can shop some similar styles below.
In a new Instagram post from Thursday, December 20, Nick Jonas revealed Priyanka Chopra’s number-one relationship rule: never step on the train of her dress. More importantly, he then shared two examples of times he almost broke it.
“Rule number one… never step on her train,” Jonas posted to Instagram alongside two photos. The first is of Chopra and Jonas at the 2017 Met Gala. Sure enough, Jonas is standing very close to the infamously-long train of the Ralph Lauren trench coat she wore that night. Right below this is a photo the couple took during their wedding festivities the weekend of November 30. For their Americanized wedding ceremony—they also had a Hindu one—Chopra opted for another Ralph Lauren ensemble with a dangerously long train. And, yet again, Jonas nearly stepped on it. Almost, of course, is the key word there. Both of Chopra’s stunning looks went off without a hitch, and she praised Jonas in the comments section of his post for keeping his distance both times. “you always knew mister,” she wrote, according to Us Weekly. (This is, obviously, a playful rule Chopra has—not an actual one.)

It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Chopra and Jonas, who had a multi-day wedding celebration at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India. The couple is back in India this week for two more wedding receptions.
“This has been an extremely special chapter in my life, and I wanted my husband to meet all the special people who have contributed to it,” Chopra said at the reception on Wednesday, December 19. “Thank you so much for being here, friends of my parents, my mom—who’s hosting this wonderful evening—my dad, who I know is here, thank you so much for coming and giving your blessing.”
How much is too much when it comes to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wedding content? The answer, obviously: The limit does not exist.
While we’ve already been treated to first looks at her incredible fashion choices for both ceremonies and their lavish reception, we’ve now got all the details on Chopra’s wedding makeup, straight from her makeup artist, Yumi Mori, who called the day “magical.”
The makeup look is timeless with an emphasis on radiant skin, Chopra’s always-incredible brows, and a strong lip. Mori used Marc Jacobs Beauty products to create “a soft and natural look to match the spirit of her Ralph Lauren wedding dress.” First up, creating “a beautiful, almost airbrushed, but still natural-looking complexion” with the brand’s Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder ($49) and Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick ($32)—a creamy concealer stick that supposedly lasts for hours. “I wanted her skin to shimmer and glow,” says Mori. “So I dusted on the new Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in Scarlet to give her a warm, luminous look after I evened out the complexion with the Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick.” (With Priyanka being Priyanka, her makeup artist got a sneak peek at some new products from the brand’s Summer 2019 collection. Both items don’t actually launch until this coming May.)
Elsewhere, though, the products are definitely shoppable—and if Chopra’s photos (or trailer-length movie) are any indication, definitely worth buying.
Did you also spend the weekend refreshing the Instagram feeds of Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, and all their celebrity friends for glimpses of their wedding? The couple has been slowly rolling out photos from their various preweddingceremonies, but exclusive images of the main events have been revealed in People.
We knew that, for the Christian portion of the event, both the bride and groom would be wearing Ralph Lauren, a tidbit dropped as part of a Vogue cover story. (For the Hindu ceremony, Indian designer Sabyasachi outfitted both Chopra and Jonas—her in a traditional red lehenga, him in a sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa.)
Ralph Lauren is a brand that has special significance for the couple: They attended the 2017 Met Gala together as its guests, marking their first major outing as a duo.

This wedding is a pretty significant moment for Ralph Lauren as a brand: According to Vogue, the brand has designed bespoke bridal and bridesmaid looks only for members of Lauren’s family—but he made an exception for this couple. (“He personally came to Chopra with sketches,” the magazine noted.) And the result did not disappoint.
Ralph Lauren created a total of 34 outfits for the wedding ceremony: Chopra’s dress, Jonas’ tuxedo, Chopra’s mother’s look, Jonas’ mother’s outfit, Jonas’ father’s suit, 12 bridesmaid dresses, 12 groomsmen tuxedos, four flower girl dresses, and the ring bearer look. (For the reception following the Christian ceremony, the bride changed into a different ivory dress, also by Ralph Lauren.)

The main event was obviously the bride’s gown: a long-sleeve, high-neck, hand-beaded, hand-embroidered two-layer dress. The sheer top was crafted from tulle and embellished with mother-of-pearl paillettes, crystal seed beads, Swarovski crystals, and satin colored buttons; according to the brand, this portion of the dress took 1,826 hours alone to make. Underneath, there was a strapless, sequined column dress—complete with 2,380,000 mother-of-pearl sequins, per Ralph Lauren. Her veil was a very low-key 75-feet long. Chopra’s Ralph Lauren wedding dress was filled with hidden personal details. Firstly, a piece of her now mother-in-law’s wedding dress was incorporated into the design. Then she had eight words and phrases sprinkled throughout the embroidery: Nicholas Jerry Jonas (her husband’s name), 1st December 2018 (her wedding date), Madhu & Ashok (her mother’s and father’s names), Om Namah Shivay (a Hindi mantra), Family, Hope, Compassion, and Love.
Jonas, too, opted to sprinkle some nods to his wife into his wedding tuxedo: A piece of Chopra’s gown was stitched to the inside of his Ralph Lauren Purple Label blazer, with the words My Jaan (“My Life” in Urdu).
Sadly, there are two very famous faces who won’t be making the journey to Jodhpur to watch the couple tie the knot in the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Us Weekly reports that Priyanka’s close friend Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, will not be attendance even though the bride was a guest at their royal wedding back in May. “Meghan will not be going to Priyanka’s wedding, especially now that she is pregnant,” says one of their sources.
While we really wish we’d get to see the Duke and Duchess dressed for a traditional Hindu ceremony, there will be no shortage of A-listers for the nuptials and many of them have already touched down in Jodhpur.
First up, the bride and groom arrived at the airport to massive crowds, but looking happy and radiant.

And what’s a wedding without your family. Nick’s brother Joe Jonas and his fiancée Sophie Turner are obviously on the guest list. Plus, Turner and Chopra already nicknamed themselves the “J Sisters” during what looked to be an amazing bachelorette weekend in Amsterdam.

The third Jonas Brother, Kevin, and his wife Danielle also made the long trip. Danielle previously missed out on the bachelorette fun because they were moving into a new house.

Nick’s parents, Denise and Paul, along with Priyanka’s mother, Madhu, and other members are her family were also spotted on arrival. Actor Jack McBrayer of 30 Rock fame is in town for the wedding and while Armie Hammer and his wife Elizabeth Chambers have not yet been photographed, it would be a surprise if they weren’t in attendance. Chambers was photographed at the bachelorette weekend with Chopra in Amsterdam.

Priyanka Chopra‘s wedding registry is here and it’s, well, confusing. The Amazon-sponsored list is a hodgepodge of items that range from your typical wedding gift fare—like silverware and pillows—to…snowboards. And dog raincoats. And roller blades. Is Chopra planning to walk down the aisle in roller blades? Does the activity hold a special place in her heart? Is she just a big fan of Rocket Power? Because there’s absolutely no reason why roller blades should be on her wedding registry unless there’s a specific reason.
In fact, many of the items on this registry read more like “things Priyanka Chopra would impulse-buy” instead of “things Priyanka Chopra needs to start a life with Nick Jonas.” Who am I to judge, though? Maybe a table tennis set is exactly what Chopra and Jonas need to feel like a married couple.
