Karlie Kloss Had a Second Wedding This Weekend, and the Photos Are Unreal

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner tied the knot last October during an intimate ceremony in upstate to New York—but when you’re hot and famous, why limit yourself to just one wedding? Everyone who’s anyone is doing two or more these days. I’m kidding. It’s literally just rich people who do that, including, as it would have it, Kushner and Kloss. The duo hosted a second wedding celebration this weekend in Wyoming, and the photos they and their guests posted to social media are unreal.

This was a larger gathering than October. Several of the couple’s famous friends were in attendance, including Diane Von Furstenberg, Orlando Bloom, and Katy Perry. (No, Taylor Swift was not there, but don’t think there’s some kind of three-way feud going on. Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” video squashed any and all bad blood.) The wedding theme was “Wild West,” which is perfect given the location, and the attendees really leaned in, wearing cowboy hats and boots and lots of denim. There was some big “yeehaw” energy for sure. Kacey Musgraves would be proud.

But before we get to those pics, check out this cute snap Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner took during the festivities.

Taylor Swift Was a Key Part of Karlie Kloss' Bachelorette Party

Before there was “the squad,” Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss had each other. Ever since 2012, the pair’s close friendship has been on display. But when Kloss recently married Joshua Kushner (Jared Kushner’s brother), rumors of a rift swirled. That can finally be put to bed, though: While Swift wasn’t at the wedding, she was a key part of Kloss’ bachelorette party.

Kloss shared that revelation in a video where she reflected on the past year. “2018 has hands down been the most transformational year of my life,” she says in the clip, “I’ve been reflecting on all the things that have happened in the past 365 days and it’s kind of surreal.” One of those moments was when she “celebrated my bachelorette with my sisters in Nashville,” as she described in the video at the (5:27 mark) before sharing a photo of her sisters with Swift in the center. In the photo, Kloss and Swift are wearing the same outfits they wore in a photo Kloss previously shared of her and Swift in Nashville after taking in the Reputation tour.

“No one puts on a show like @taylorswift,” Kloss wrote in her caption at the time. “Nashville was out of this world, I am SO proud of you.” Now, it’s a lot more clear why Nashville was out of this world—and it wasn’t just because of the concert.

Kloss is currently on a honeymoon safari in South Africa, which is why she didn’t join Swift and the rest of the squad for the pop singer’s costume-themed NYE party. But just because the pair haven’t been spotted together for a bit doesn’t mean their friendship is any less strong.

“Taylor and I are still really good friends,” as Kloss confirmed with Vogue’s 73 Questions in October 2018. A handful of months earlier, Kloss declined to comment on their friendship with Porter, explaining her silence as “It’s not like I’ve ever wanted to be so secretive about my private life… I know in my life what really matters to me. I’m not trying to hide that from the world; I just really like having a more private private life… I’ve got nothing to hide, though!” She was just waiting to reveal it all on YouTube at the turn of 2019.

Karlie Kloss Just Shared Gorgeous Photos from Her Honeymoon With Joshua Kushner

Back in October, supermodel Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner pulled off a private wedding (on a Thursday!) in upstate New York. It was so under wraps that everyone slept on it until Kloss shared a photo of the ceremony on social media.

Now, the couple is giving the world a peek at their amazing honeymoon in South Africa—and giving us all vacation envy in the process. Kloss captioned a photo of the two looking happy and relaxed with the simple emojis ‘??.’ The model also posted photos of some of the area’s wildlife, including an elephant, a lion, and giraffes—or as the very tall Kloss put it, “my tribe.”

Kushner is the younger brother of Jared Kushner and brother-in-law of Ivanka Trump, who has referred to Kloss as her “sister.” But Kloss says that her now-husband shares her “liberal values,” despite family ties to the Trump administration.

“Josh and I share a lot of the same liberal values that guide our lives and the things we stand for,” she said in a recent interview with Vogue. “We’ve really grown together personally and professionally. Josh knows that I’m just a nerdy, curious human being. I think that’s why he loves me. We have each other’s back.”

Peep the pics below:

The couple began dating back in 2012 and got engaged over the summer. “The proposal was romantic and sweet,” Kloss told Vogue. ”We spent the weekend in upstate New York, just the two of us.”

“I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate,” she wrote on Instagram after the engagement. “I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over ?”

Enjoy the rest of your honeymoon, lovebirds—and keep sharing pics so we can live vicariously, please.

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner Are Officially Married

It’s official: Karlie Kloss is a married woman.

On Thursday, October 18, Kloss and Joshua Kushner wed in an intimate ceremony in upstate New York. (The upstate area is special to the couple as it’s also the place where Kushner proposed to Kloss back in July.) According to People, there were less than 80 people in attendance; however, the couple is planning to hold a larger event for more of their friends and family in the spring. No word yet on whether or not Kushner’s brother, White House Senior Advisor Jared Kushner, or his wife, Ivanka Trump, attended the wedding.

“The wedding was intimate and moving. The couple was beaming with happiness,” a friend who attended the ceremony shared with People about Kloss and Kushner, who have been together since 2012.

Kloss announced the marriage herself via a gorgeous photo she posted on social media:

After Kloss and Kushner got engaged over the summer, the model and Kode with Klossy founder shared her own excitement about the engagement, writing on Instagram, “I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over.”

In September, Kloss shared more details about the proposal, telling Vogue, “The proposal was romantic and sweet. We spent the weekend in upstate New York, just the two of us.”

For the ceremony, Kloss wore a white gown with lace detail that was designed by Dior, according to People. She also wore her hair back with a flowing full-length veil. Kloss appeared to accessorize with tiny studded earrings, a small necklace, and, of course, her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, which is set in a platinum solitaire setting with a diamond pavé band.

Congratulations to the couple!

Karlie Kloss Says She and Jared Kushner Share the Same 'Liberal Values’ Despite His Ties to Trump

When it comes to her relationship, Karlie Kloss doesn’t care what people think. The supermodel, who recently became engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Joshua Kushner, has faced criticism for choosing to be with someone who’s at least peripherally in the Trump orbit. (Joshua is the younger brother of Jared Kushner, which makes him Ivanka Trump’s brother-in-law.)

For a recent interview with Vogue, the usually private Kloss admits that being with Kushner hasn’t come without its complications, but that at the end of the day, they share the same liberal belief system that flies in the face of the president and his administration.

“Josh and I share a lot of the same liberal values that guide our lives and the things we stand for,” she said in the interview. “We’ve really grown together personally and professionally. Josh knows that I’m just a nerdy, curious human being. I think that’s why he loves me. We have each other’s back.”

While this marks the first time Kloss has opened up about her and Kushner’s political beliefs, the couple made a huge statement when they attended the Women’s March on Washington last year. The Cut also reported that despite their familial ties to President Trump, both Kloss and Kushner voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

As for Kloss, don’t expect her to open up anymore about her relationship with Kushner moving forward. When Vogue tried to press on whether or not she plans on converting to Orthodox Judaism, like Ivanka did prior to marrying into the Kushner family, Kloss replied, “At the end of the day, I’ve had to make decisions based on my own moral compass — forget what the public says, forget social media. I’ve chosen to be with the man I love despite the complications.”

She continued, explaining how being hounded about her relationship is sexist. “It’s frustrating, to be honest, that the spotlight is always shifted away from my career toward my relationship,” she said. “I don’t think the same happens in conversations with men.”
