All the Moments From 'Stranger Things' Season 2 That Set Twitter on Fire

Warning: major spoilers ahead.

This weekend, the television gods smiled down on us by making all nine episodes of the second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things available to fans—just in time for Halloween. If you haven’t had contact with the outside world since Friday and Saturday’s parties because you’ve been glued to your couch, you’re not alone. An army of excited viewers devoured the latest season over the weekend—then quickly took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Thanks to the official trailer, we knew going in that the door to the Upside Down was still wide open and that literally none of our favorite characters—Will! Mike! Eleven!—were safe. So even though this season definitely had its share of suspenseful moments, the terrifying monster plot seemed to take a backseat to some of the other storylines this time around.

Would there finally be justice for Barb? What happened to Eleven? Did Joyce ever get her house put back together? Here, all the greatest moments from season two that fans couldn’t stop talking about.

Rejoice: Two of your favorite “will they or won’t they?” couples finally got together.
Mike and Nancy: two siblings who have some serious luck in the love department.

But, as it turns out, the new #relationshipgoals is a duo you never saw coming.
Twitter is so happy that Dustin and Steve have found each other.

Speaking of Steve, he’s the internet’s new boyfriend.
Season One Steve as Nancy’s jealous boyfriend? Not our favorite. But Season Two Steve as a big brother figure/action hero? He’s grown up.

#PoorBarb is out, #PoorBob is in.
Poor Sean Astin. He was too good for this world.

Joyce is still everyone’s favorite mama bear.
Obviously.

Viewers were left with some important questions…

…and everyone agreed the post-binge comedown was real.

If you too are feeling sad that season two is over, never fear: The Duffer brothers have confirmed we have two more seasons to look forward to! Meanwhile, we’ll just be discussing and dissecting these episodes endlessly over brunch.

Chrissy Teigen Reveals the Horrible Messages That Inspired Her to Boycott Twitter

Chrissy Teigen is Twitter’s reigning clap-back queen. Everyone knows this. The Cravings author is famous for dishing out delicious shade whenever a troll writes her a rude comment. Whether she’s slamming someone who said she “peaked” or checking a person for criticizing her fertility plan, Teigen doesn’t hold back.

Most of the time, Teigen just calls out one person—one tweet—which gives off the impression most of the messages in her mentions are positive. Perhaps she tweets one thing, receives a swarm of nice responses, but then a few bad apples get in there and spoil the bunch. That’s why Teigen notices them and claps back accordingly.

But that’s wishful thinking. Teigen’s latest tweet shows this absolutely isn’t the case. It’s not just a few bad apples who sneak into her mentions; it’s a bunch. And they crawl into her feed within seconds. She proved this last night by exposing the tweets she received just minutes after suggesting that women boycott Twitter. A quick backup: Teigen urged women last night to stop using the platform because she thinks it needs to be safer for them.

“Ladies. Let’s do this. #WomenBoycottTwitter. Not because of hate but because I love this platform and know it can be better. Tomorrow. No secret timeline checking, no tweets, no clicking the bluebird square. They need to see we matter.I’m boycotting for many reasons. To stand with the victims of sexual assault, online threats, and abuse. And to boycott the fact our demented, pussy grabbing president can tweet nuclear threats of war I can’t even see,” she wrote.

The gross responses she received shortly after posting this prove why she pushed for a boycott in the first place. “My mentions since posting #WomenBoycottTwitter 3 minutes ago #thisiswhy,” she tweeted, along with a few screen-shots of some truly horrible messages. See it for yourself, below:

If this is what Teigen received only a few minutes after tweeting, we can’t imagine what her mentions look like now. Several female celebrities have talked openly about the offensive comments they’ve received online, but these screen-shots put a visual to the problem. And it’s a major. Hopefully, Twitter sees this and devises a plan to combat trolls for good.

Khloé Kardashian Is Reportedly Pregnant: Twitter Reacts

Are you ready for this, friends? Multiple outlets are reporting that Khloé Kardashian is expecting her first child. Yes, that Khloé Kardashian—the same Khloé Kardashian who’s half-sisters with Kylie Jenner…who is also reportedly pregnant.

“Yes, Khloé and Tristan are expecting and they are absolutely thrilled,” a source tells People. “This isn’t something they were in a rush to announce to the whole world, and it’s only been in just the past week or so that they’ve felt comfortable telling most of their inner circle. Things were complicated a bit by Kylie’s announcement as they don’t want to be seen as intruding on that moment for her but it is now reaching a point where Khloé doesn’t want to be openly lying to people, and just staying quiet isn’t going to work anymore.”

And these two aren’t the only people in the Kardashian-Jenner brood reportedly expecting children: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West also have another child on the way via surrogate. That’s three sisters in this family who’re about to expand their families. Crazy, right?

Twitter thinks so, too. They had a complete field day last Friday over Kylie’s (again, alleged) pregnancy, and they’re having similar feelings about Khloé’s. Check out the best reactions we found, below:

Twitter Is Dragging Melania Trump's $1,380 Gardening Shirt

PHOTO: Win McNamee/Getty Images

First Lady Melania Trump harvested the White House vegetable garden on Friday with some help from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington. To do so, she wore a $1,380 Balmain shirt—and Twitter realllllly had a problem with it.

Needless to say, a $1,380 shirt isn’t the most practical thing to be digging around in the dirt in—and Trump was, in fact, doing some work in the garden Michelle Obama started. Most of us might opt for an old T-shirt or something that has a few coffee stains down the front. But she’s a First Lady, and so her fashion choices will always be up for endless analyzation and critique.

Of course, the Internet hasn’t been too happy with a few of her looks lately: there was the $2,950 Delpozo dress she wore to give a speech about childhood hunger to the United Nations General Assembly, which Twitter was quick to point out came off as a little tone-deaf. And just a few weeks ago, Trump was criticized for wearing heels en route to Houston after Hurricane Harvey it (Manolo Blahniks, no less).

Anyway, here is the shirt and a ripe-looking green pepper:

It’s worth pointing out that, while, yes, a $1,380 shirt errs on the side of being ridiculous, especially for gardening, the spouses of world leaders aren’t exactly known for shopping at Old Navy or Target, or, heck, even J. Crew—until Obama came along. To some degree, designer fashion is de rigueur if you’re married to someone who contributes, for better or worse, to running the world—and it’s not fair to drag Trump just for sticking to the dress code, however crazy it might seem to some of us mortals (for many of us, her shirt is a month or two of rent). At the same time, Obama wasn’t immune herself to designer duds in the dirt: she wore some Jimmy Choos as she broke ground on the garden.

That brings us to Twitter’s take on it. Kate Bennett, a CNN reporter opened the can of worms:

And then others chimed in with a whole range of opinions:

Bennett had a final response to the kerfluffle:

So, yes: First Ladies traditionally wear expensive things, and taxpayers don’t contribute to their wardrobe—so maybe it’s best to let them wear what they want? Overdressing for the garden isn’t and shouldn’t be a partisan issue, though she’s unlikely to score relatability points.

Chrissy Teigen Asked Moms on Twitter for Moral Support, and the Responses Are Hilarious

If there’s an celebrity who has been transparent about being a mom—meaning she’s shown us that not every single moment is sunshine and rainbows—it’s Chrissy Teigen. She’s put mom-shamers in their place when they gotten out of hand. She’s taken down trolls who criticize her for undergoing IVF treatments. She’s even opened up to Glamour about her struggles with postpartum depression. It’s refreshing to see a woman being so open about the hard parts of being a mom, because society still tends to treat mamas like they have to be beacons of perfection—right when life is getting a little chaotic for them.

On Friday Teigen must have been having a particularly difficult day with her 1-year-old daughter, Luna, because she turned to Twitter for some support from her fellow moms. She might have also been looking for a good laugh with her tweet: “I am having a very rough day and it would help me a lot if any moms would like to share stories of their kids being mean to them.”

Hilarity ensued: if you didn’t already know, kids can be really freaking mean. Teigen’s tweet already has over 3,000 replies from moms and dads bullied by their savage offspring.

Here are some of the funniest responses:

Chrissy even joined in to commiserate:

Of course Teigen’s followers brought out their best mean kid stories because, let’s be honest, we all have them. And while it’s frustrating to deal with in the moment, looking back on the crazy things kids say and do when they’re little is pretty hilarious. We’re hoping Chrissy reveals what’s been going on with her own little one. She did admit she’s gotten a few slaps in one response to a follower. But baby Luna is so cute, it would be impossible to stay mad at her.
