Let me take you back to 2009: Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez were all queens on Disney Channel, and there were rumors that they hated each other. Well, it was more so Cyrus versus Gomez and Lovato. There were opposing YouTube channels, squabbles over boys—all the makings of catfight fodder that fed tabloids for years.
But none of it was grounded in reality. Gomez confirmed as much in 2016, telling W magazine that she and Cyrus “never feuded.” And now Cyrus is echoing this sentiment. In a new interview with Capital FM, the Younger Now singer says there was never any competition between herself, Gomez, and Lovato. She mentioned this while defending these lyrics in her new song, “Cattitude”: “I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi.” Some fans thought these words were fueling the alleged feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, but Cyrus says they do just the opposite.
“I don’t think there is beef now anymore,” Cyrus told Capital FM in regards to the rappers. “I think that you’re allowed to enjoy two artists who fill a similar lane.”
Just like fans can enjoy Cyrus’ music and Gomez’s and Lovato’s. “I just always grew up collaborating with Selena [Gomez] and Demi [Lovato], and there was never competition. Ariana [Grande] is one of my best friends,” she said.
Listen to Cyrus explain this for yourself in the clip, below.

Miley Cyrus further proved squashed any beef by posting pics from her concert over the weekend and captioning them, “I love you Selena but I listen to Demi” and “I love you me but I listen to Ari”

And in March, she uploaded this video of her and Gomez rocking out at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards:
So it’s safe to say there was never any actual drama between these women. Just people looking it, which, sadly, is nothing new.
There are dozens of wild rumors out there about Meghan Markle, but according to a new report from the Daily Express, only one is currently making Prince Harry mad. The British publication reports both the Duke of Sussex and Buckingham Palace are “incensed” at reports Markle is “banned” from wearing jewelry from the royal collection.
Sources tell the Express there’s been a “great deal of anger” over these reports because they are “simply untrue.” “It is worth noting that the queen lent Meghan a tiara for the wedding, gave her earrings for her first royal engagement, and had just agreed to partly fund her new household,” a royal insider said.
Granted, Markle hasn’t worn much royal jewelry lately, but the insider says there’s a perfectly good explanation for that: “The jewelry in question is only usually worn at extremely special functions or state occasions and there simply haven’t been many of those since Meghan became a member of the royal family.”

That being said, the insider who spoke to the Express says there are stipulations in place for when Markle wears royal jewelry, but an outright “ban” is ludicrous. “It is true that Buckingham Palace did not want all the items in the royal collection to be opened up to Meghan at this time,” the source says. “Obviously Kate as the next Princess of Wales and a senior member of the family does have them made available to her. That’s not to say items won’t be loaned to Meghan in the future if situations change.”
Of course, it’s important to take all stories like this with a grain of salt. There’s been a narrative in the press for months now that Markle and Kate Middleton are “feuding”—but royals expert Katie Nicholl shot that down to Glamour last week.
“I think this idea of there being a catfight between the two duchesses has made tantalizing headlines, but I don’t believe that,” she said.
A rumor popped up last week that Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt, two of the hottest people on Earth, are dating. According to The Sun, the A-list actors were set up by Theron’s ex-fiancé Sean Penn and have been hanging out since December. Their potential union, though, is like staring into the literal sun. Seriously, Theron and Pitt’s combined beauty is just too much for us mere mortals to handle! Imagine walking down the street and seeing them hold hands. I’d lose control of my limbs! How would our minds even process such hotness joining forces?
Well, it looks like we don’t have to worry about this now. Both People magazine and Entertainment Tonight report the dating rumors between Theron and Pitt are false.
Per People, the two stars met while filming an ad for Breitling watches but they’ve never been romantically involved. “They did a shoot together six months ago,” a source tells the magazine. “They have not been out together recently, and were never dating. Reports of them being involved romantically are false.” This source also added The Sun‘s claim that Penn set up Theron and Pitt “couldn’t be more false.”
ET doubled down on this, too, with a source telling the outlet, “They are both very single at the moment so it’s no surprise people are talking romance. They truly would make a Hollywood power couple, but at this point, they’re friends.”
“Brad and Charlize have known each other for years and recently became even better friends after working together,” ET‘s source added, referring to the Breitling campaign. “They enjoy each other’s company and connect on many levels. Brad and Charlize have a lot of mutual friends and share their love of acting, but neither of them are ready for a serious relationship right now.”
Well, that settles things, I guess. Here’s the Breitling commercial both People and ET reference:

Theron and Penn split in June 2015. Meanwhile, the Internet broke in September 2016 when Pitt and Angelina Jolie confirmed they were divorcing after their decade-plus relationship. For now, at least, it appears Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt are both just single, hot friends.
Alison Brie and Chrissy Metz have nothing but love for each other after all those bizarre rumors from last night’s Golden Globes.
Don’t know what I’m talking about? Here’s quick recap. Outlets started reporting Sunday night that Metz called Brie a “b-tch” during a Facebook Live pre-show interview on the Globes red carpet. “Do you know a girl named Alison Brie?” one of the hosts asked Metz during the chat. “Do I?” the This Is Us star responded before mumbling something inaudible that the Internet heard as “She’s such a b-tch.”
Metz quickly took to Twitter and shut this story down, though. “It’s terribly unfortunate anyone would think much less run a story that was completely fabricated,” the actress wrote. “I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I sure hope she knows my heart.”
Several responses from Brie, Metz, and people in their inner circles followed shortly after this. Below, check out a timeline of quotes and posts about this incident that prove, once and for all, there’s no bad blood between Metz and Brie:
The original statement from Metz’s rep, Cheryl McLean. “Chrissy has nothing but admiration and respect for Alison and, frankly, every fellow actor who must wade through this much-too-common attempt to create a feud among colleagues,” the statement reads, according to USA Today. “This ‘story’ is a complete fabrication and deserves no further momentum.”
Metz’s first interview about what happened. “I’m so distraught and upset,” she told People. “I don’t speak about anyone like that, I don’t speak like that. I love Alison, I follow her. … When I was walking up they said, ‘Do you know Alison,’ and I said, ‘Oh boy, do I.’ I love her.”
This Is Us director Ken Olin comes to Metz’s defense. “Folks, I’ve known @ChrissyMetz for three years and I have NEVER heard her say a mean word about anyone. Move on,” he tweeted.
Brie’s initial response. “But why?,” the GLOW actress said to Vanity Fair writer and reporter Nicole Sperling when asked about the rumor. “I know her. I saw her on the carpet and I told her how beautiful she looked.”
And, then, her sweet post about Metz on Instagram Story. “Nothing but love for @chrissymetz!!” Brie posted, alongside a photo of herself and Metz. “Rumors can’t keep us down!”
Metz saying she and Brie texted about the situation. She told Us Weekly she and Brie have already cleared the air. “It’s unfortunate people want to say stuff that they don’t know is true or not. Alison and I obviously are friends,” Metz said. “She knows that I would never say something like that…It’s kind of terrible. So I’m glad that … I mean, I know the truth. If you actually listen to the video, I don’t say anything. It’s actually not me speaking about that, so it’s unfortunate.”
The Facebook co-host clarifies Metz’ comments. AJ Gibson, who interviewed Metz on the carpet, tells People he believes she called Brie a “babe,” not a “b-tch.” “While interviewing Chrissy during the HFPA Presents: Globes Red Carpet LIVE pre-show and as our conversation came to its natural conclusion, we were told to wrap and toss over to our co-hosts on another portion of the carpet, who were on standby with Alison Brie,” Gibson told People in a statement. “I jokingly asked Chrissy if she knew who Alison was, as a way to transition into the ‘toss’ and she played along. She then referred to Alison as a ‘babe’ and the fun exchange ended.”
He continued, “Chrissy is an absolute sweetheart and an immensely talented and kindhearted woman. On the heels of the powerful show of solidarity via the Time’s Up movement amongst women and allies in the industry on the same Golden Globes Red Carpet just one year ago, I can’t imagine a scenario where Chrissy would want anything more than to support her female counterparts…It’s more important than ever that we ALL support and love on one another and from my position on that stage, a few feet from Chrissy, it was clear to me that she had nothing but love for Alison.”
If I had to guess, I’d say Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton probably have the same relationship you’d share with a sister-in-law. You’re not best friends—because you have separate lives—but you’ll happily bond at Thanksgiving over the Netflix show you’re both binge-ing or look at photos of her kids. (Especially if they have hilarious Instagram fan accounts.)
The rumor mill, however, has been working overtime to create some type of feud between the Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge. Never mind that Kensington Palace released a statement denying any ill will between the women. If a random website says Kate left a bridesmaids dress fitting for Meghan’s wedding “in tears,” then it’s obviously true, right?
And the stories keep getting more and more wild—so much so that the latest one doesn’t even make sense. According to Us Weekly, Kate and Meghan had a chat on Christmas Day where they aired out their grievances. Can we confirm or deny that? No, but what comes after this has me like…???
“Kate opened up about feeling like Meghan had used her to climb the royal ladder,” a source reveals to Us Weekly.
Sorry, but I’m confused: Was Kate the one flying to Toronto every few weeks to visit Meghan on the set of Suits? Was it over a roasted chicken Meghan made that Kate decided to propose? Did Kate put on a really convincing ginger beard and wig for her royal wedding to Meghan?
No, really: How did Meghan use Kate to climb the social ladder? Meghan dated Prince Harry. She got engaged to Prince Harry. She married Prince Harry. The closest I’ve ever been to London is listening to Rita Ora’s album, Phoenix, but I have a feeling marrying Prince Harry is a pretty quick way to jump rank with the royals. No help from Kate is required.
And this is all assuming Meghan is trying to social climb, which she probably isn’t. Have you seen the way she looks at Prince Harry? That’s true love. She held an umbrella for him one time, for goodness sake. Do you know what that means? It means, “I love you even though the only throne in your future is Game of Thrones season eight.”

Can we just let Kate and Meghan go back to making idle chat about the weather in peace? It’s what we all deserve in 2019.
If you’re Kylie Jenner, life is pretty good: You’ve just turned 21, you’ve attained billionaire status, you just covered Vogue Australia makeup free. But, alas, the Internet exists, and gossip abounds—particularly of the variety that isn’t quite true. People have speculated that she and Travis Scott—the boyfriend of Jenner and father of their daughter, Stormi—have broken up more than a few times: It seems, in fact, to happen on an almostmonthlybasis, most recently toward the end of July.
And now it has happened once more. Over the weekend, someone posted to Twitter saying that their dad had just helped Scott move out of Jenner’s house.
“YALL,” they wrote. “Remember how my dad is a mover, and moves all the Kardashian/Jenner’s?????? Well home boy spilled the tea and told me that TRAVIS SCOTT AND KYLIE SPLIT. He said they moved all of Travis’ shit out of her house. Shouts to my dad for keeping up with the Kardashian’s”
The user continued, “Kylie also gave my dad more tequila so it’s lit.”
A Kylie fan account screengrabbed the tweets and put up its own defense of the whole situation: “Kylie and Travis were seen in public together today,” they wrote. “There’s a million reasons why they would be moving some of Travis’s stuff out of her house. Maybe moving stuff to their home they share together. And I doubt Kylie was telling a mover in her house about her relationship over some of that tequila she gave him ?. No hate towards whoever tweeted this though. Just sayin I think Kylie and Travis are going strong.”
Kylie, who apparently keeps up with this kind of gossip, responded to the fan account’s post: “obviously fake,” she wrote. “shit was never moved i never gave anyone tequila ??♀️”
There you have it: Shit was never moved; no tequila was gifted; she and Scott are apparently just fine.
