This Photo of the 'Big Little Lies' Cast Back Together Has Us So Ready for Season Two

The ladies of Monterey are officially back together, and we already can’t wait for the second season of Big Little Lies. On Sunday, Zoë Kravitz, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, and Shailene Woodley shared a photo of the four of them going to see Woodley’s new movie Adrift, being the loving and supportive friends we finally saw their characters becoming in the last scene of season one.

They all shared the exact same photo, but their heartfelt captions all conveyed their support for Woodley:

“What a night at the movies ! @adriftmovie Blew me away!!” Witherspoon wrote. “Seeing this incredible true story , i was on the edge of my seat, cheering on @shailenewoodley & @mrsamclaflin who are stuck adrift on a sailboat in the Pacific Ocean. Shailene is outstanding in a rare performance of woman vs. nature that is not to be missed. You must see this movie !! ??”

“Saw the unbelievable true story, ADRIFT, with amazing Shai. Wow. Go. ♥️,” Dern wrote on hers.

“EVERYONE ! Runnnnnnn, don’t walk to see @adriftmovie !” Kravitz captioned her pic. “What an inspiring, badass, beautiful, CRAZY and TRUE story about the power of the human spirit. With stunning performances by @mrsamclaflin and @shailenewoodley • so proud of you girl. ♥️ THANK YOU FOR TELLING THIS STORY. #adrift”

Pretty great, right? Woodley was, of course, appreciative of the sisterhood vibes herself: “WHAT TRUE SUPPORT AND SISTERHOOD LOOKS LIKE. i feel so shown up for. #adrift @adriftmovie,” she wrote on her own post of the pic.

It’s great to see the cast hanging out off the screen, but Big Little Lies fans are also getting pumped for their return to the screen. We don’t know a great deal about it yet, but we have learned some details over the last few months: Most of the original cast is returning—even Alexander Skarsgård, whose character Perry was murdered at the end of season one (so expect some flashback scenes).

The one main character who seems to be missing from the above movie theater reunion is Nicole Kidman—but don’t worry. We definitely know she’s returning for season two, plus she’s already shared photos of her scenes with new castmate Meryl Streep, who’s joining the show to play Kidman’s mother-in-law.

Unfortunately, season two won’t be released until early 2019, so we’ve got a lot of waiting left to do. But hopefully we’ll continue to see more behind-the-scenes and off-screen moments in the meantime. Witherspoon has shared a few other photos from set, including this one where she’s wearing a sweatshirt all BLL fans will covet.

Plus, she shared a photo with her on-screen daughter, Kathryn Newton, whose character Abigail ended season one deciding to not sell her virginity online and moved in with her dad and stepmom (played by James Tupper and Kravitz).

Woodley also shared what seems like a behind-the-scenes moment at what fans have identified as the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Maybe Jane has gotten a new job? Or perhaps the actress was just enjoying a day of playing tourist.

Nicole Kidman was back in character in April when she shared this photo of her greeting local fans on set.

Laura Dern was also back on set in April, captioning this ‘gram “Off to work #biglittlelies2.”

2019 can’t come soon enough, but we’re loving these photos of cast camaraderie—and sisterhood—in the meantime.

Queen Elizabeth II Has a Never-Before-Seen Photo of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Her Mantle

Queen Elizabeth II may be the head of the British Monarchy, but, deep down, she’s just like any other grandmother, decorating her home with photos of her grandkids.

Want proof? An eagle-eyed reporter at Hello magazine spotted a never-before-seen picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle adorning the queen’s table in Buckingham Palace. The reporter spotted the pic in the background of a shot taken Wednesday during the queen’s private audience with George Brandis, the Australian high commissioner to the U.K. The framed photo — one of a few others that are blocked — shows Markle wearing a pale blue dress nuzzled up against her prince in a blue suit. It’s unclear where, exactly, the picture was taken, though Hello speculates that it could be from a selection of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s engagement photos that were never released publicly.

See the pic up close, below:

The queen and Prince Harry are known to have a close bond, so it’s hardly surprising that she’d decorate her home with photos of him and Markle. “Don’t forget she’s hugely close to her grandson,” royal expert Katie Nicholl said ahead of the royal wedding. “They have a very special relationship. She is thrilled to be seeing Harry settle down and finally marry.”

Not to mention that there was another tough audience that immediately took to Harry’s significant other: the queen’s corgis.

“It was very sweet,” Markle said of meeting the pups. To which Prince Harry responded: “For the last 33 years, I’ve been barked at. This one walks in, and absolutely nothing! Just wagging tails.”

Considering there was also an entire batch of official portraits taken on the day of the royal wedding that included Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the queen herself, we’re willing to bet that there will be a new addition to the mantle in the near future.

Chrissy Teigen Just Shared the First Photo of Luna and Miles Together

Miles Theodore Stephens, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s second child, was born less than one month ago, and it seems big sister Luna Simone, 2, is already adjusting well to her new role. Late Sunday (May 27), the 32-year-old supermodel shared the first picture of her two children together, and, needless to say, it’s seriously adorable. In the snap, baby Miles lays in a fuzzy bassinet while big sister Luna helps with his pacifier. Just look at that concentration and tenderness!

See the picture, below, and try not to smile.

It’s particularly heartwarming to see Luna interacting with Miles after her dad joked that there have been some difficulties with their new addition. “I think she’s just becoming aware that he’s the competition,” Legend told Entertainment Tonight shortly after Miles was born. “We’ll see how that plays out, but I think it might be good because it’s making her, like, she’s doing more to ingratiate herself to us, which means it might be a good thing for her to have a little competition.”

Teigen also previously suspected that it might be hard for Luna to adjust to her new sibling, so she preemptively began prepping her daughter. “She’s got her little baby doll now that she’s been really taking care of,” the Lip Sync Battle host told ET in January. “It’s hard though, because she’s definitely jealous of John and I.”

Teigen added, “[Lunas’] so protective of John and when we kiss, she, like, looks [up] from no matter where she is. You see her little dark eyes somewhere. It’s a little scary.” Despite her jokes, Teigen is seriously working on her relationships with her kids, like any new mom. “I think the balance is hard. I mean, you want to be able to give one so much attention and shower them with love and affection, but then you have a little baby too, and that’ll be rough to balance,” she continued in the same interview. “I’m excited to figure it out, because, hopefully, we won’t stop at two, and we’ll be on our way to Todville.”

Michelle Obama Shares Amazing Throwback Photo From Wedding to Barack: 'We're Still Having Fun'

The reason we believe in true love pretty much starts with a Michelle and ends with a Barack. The former First Couple thrills us every time they pop into our lives to show each other affection or to announce joint ventures, so we’re absolutely ecstatic to hear that Michelle Obama will be on our Instagram feeds a lot in the next few days as she shares amazing throwback photos from her new memoir, Becoming. Today’s image might be the most touching one yet: It’s an adorable shot of Barack removing her garter belt on their wedding day, and its captioned with the sweetest story.

“You can’t tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold. Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night,” Michelle wrote in the caption. “Twenty five years later, we’re still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals. I can’t imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else.”

We’re not crying, you’re crying. Honestly, we’re not at all surprised to hear that Barack magically healed in time to keep up with his wife on the dance floor (we’ve all seen her moves). The best part is this is just the beginning: Michelle announced in an Instagram post yesterday that more of these heartfelt memories will continue as she teases the new book. Her first picture was a beautiful ode to her parents, Fraser and Marian, whom she honored by eloquently listing out all the ways in which they had shaped her.

“My father, Fraser, taught me to work hard, laugh often, and keep my word. My mother, Marian, showed me how to think for myself and to use my voice. Together, in our cramped apartment on the South Side of Chicago, my family helped me see the value in our story, in my story, and in the larger story of our country,” the caption reads.

She later posted a picture of herself as a student at Princeton, where she graduated from in 1985. In the caption, she discussed how scary it was to be a first-generation college student and black woman in a majority white student body. She explained that she’d never “stood out in a crowd or a classroom because of the color of my skin before,” and celebrated the close friends and mentor “who gave me the confidence to be myself.” Being the endlessly supportive champion she’s always been, she of course used the moment to uplift recent graduates.

“Going to college is hard work, but every day I meet people whose lives have been profoundly changed by education, just as mine was,” she wrote. “My advice to students is to be brave and stay with it. Congratulations to the Class of 2018!”

Becoming is reportedly part of a joint deal the Obamas struck with Penguin Random House, estimated at an “excess of $30 million,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. Michelle revealed that she was writing a deeply personal memoir back in February and said the book would cover her journey from the South Side of Chicago to becoming one of the country’s most empowering public figure. She shared, ” I hope my journey inspires readers to find the courage to become whoever they aspire to be. I can’t wait to share my story.”

We can’t wait to hear it! The book comes out on November 13, and we’ll be the ones camped out at any and every public reading Michelle does.

4 Presidents and 4 First Ladies Honored Barbara Bush in This Incredible Photo

It’s not often you get past Presidents in the same room—and sometimes, with our political climate, the chances of everyone coming together like that seem close to zero. But such moments do exist—remember when five living former Presidents came together for hurricane relief last October? They looked like they were having a pretty great time, too.

Well, it’s happened again—with the addition of one very notable person from the current administration. At former First Lady Barbara Bush’s funeral on Sunday, former Presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama gathered for a photo together. But also, notably, joining the picture were Former First Ladies Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton (who was also very close to being President!), and Michelle Obama—as well as First Lady Melania Trump representing the current administration.

The best part? Even given the solemn context for the photo, everyone looks like they’re genuinely enjoying each other’s company (look at Melania’s smile!). Of course, everyone’s going to agree with each of the ideologies or decisions the individuals in the photo have made. Regardless, it’s beyond refreshing to see these historic figures as people, not their politics—and it’s a reminder to all of us that maybe we can find some commonalities too.

The photo’s quickly gone viral on Twitter since, with many Americans on both sides of the aisle feeling their spirits lifted by this historic coming-together.

This Photo Is Proof That Reese Witherspoon and Emilia Clarke Could Be Sisters

In a cross-over universe we never dreamed would exist, it appears that Elle Woods and Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons, are actually sisters—if not downright twins. The two (OK, fine, the actresses that play them) posed for a picture together on the red carpet of the Annual Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday, and it’s actual perfection. Twitter is also freaking out because well, it’s absolutely iconic legends Reese Witherspoon and Emilia Clarke together, and honestly what more could you ever want from life a picture?

The moment between the Big Little Lies and Game of Thrones actresses was caught on camera, and everything about it was incredible: take, for instance, the matching confident smiles and insanely complementary dresses. Both wore black—presumably a continuation of the all-black dress code at the week’s earlier Golden Globes ceremony to support Time’s Up. Clarke opted for an embellished Dolce and Gabbana dress (she’s the face of its new frangrance), and Witherspoon went for Prada. Apparently they share the same stylist, so similar vibes might be expected, but this is just next-level good.

Don’t believe us? Take a look yourself:

The Twittersphere, of course, promptly went into action:

As another commenter tweeted, “EMILIA CLARKE AND REESE WITHERSPOON I WILL NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS.” Time to get started on that fan fiction, you guys—Big Little Lies featuring the women of Westeros, perhaps?
