Madewell and Parachute Just Dropped the Comfiest Home Line Ever

Just when we thought we had enough loungewear and crisp bed sheets to last us through social distancing, two of our favorite brands—Madewell and Parachute—teamed up for the collaboration of our dreams. The capsule, which launched on April 8, includes everything from Insta-worthy bed linens to the chicest dog bed we’ve ever laid eyes on.

Madewell collaborations are always on our radar, but the capsule with Parachute feels particularly serendipitous at a time when our WFH ’fits are looking a lot like our pajamas (they basically are), and we’re spending more time in bed than we’d like to admit.

Despite the coincidental timing, the brands have actually been working on the collection for over a year. “After collaborating back in 2018 on a small capsule of travel accessories, it was such a success and so much fun working with the Parachute team that we knew we wanted to continue our partnership in a bigger way,” Madewell’s head designer, Joyce Lee, tells Glamour.

The collection celebrates what both brands are known for—Madewell’s effortless design and Parachute’s beautiful, lived-in home essentials. The pieces themselves run the gamut from cotton sheets and striped duvet covers to quilted slippers and (gasp) a denim bed for your fur kid. Madewell’s denim expertise got some love in the line too, as Lee tells us the dog bed was a natural extension for the brand: “We thought a dog bed was a fun addition because everyone deserves a stylish and comfy nighttime routine,” she says. “It looks great in any room as well, which is an added bonus!”

If there’s anything that can turn our homes into a sanctuary, it’s these comfy pieces—and if you’re looking to put your dollars toward brands giving back to coronavirus relief efforts, you’re in luck: Madewell recently partnered with No Kid Hungry and will match customer donations up to $25,000.

For a purchase you can feel good about in more ways than one, here are six things from the collection worth adding to cart. FYI, you can shop the pieces directly on Parachute or Madewell.

Selena Gomez Just Dropped a Second Song That Fans Think Is About Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez fans, a.k.a. the Selenators, were delighted last night when she dropped her second single in less than 24 hours. “And here’s my special gift to all of my ride or dies! I created this with Apple especially for you,” she wrote on Instagram. “Y’all have been through it all with me and I thank you for pushing me to be the best. Look At Her Now is out now. ❤️ #ShotOniPhone.”

In “Look At Her Now”, Gomez is singing about a breakup, and once again fans think she’s referring to her past relationship with Justin Bieber. “They fell in love one summer/A little too wild for each other/Shiny ’til it wasn’t/Feels good ’til it doesn’t,” she says in the opening lyrics. “It was her first real lover/His too ’til he had another/Oh God when she found out/Trust levels went way down.”

Gomez goes on to say that it took a few years to process the end of the relationship, but in the end the breakup was a good thing. “Of course she was sad/But now she’s glad she dodged a bullet. Took a few years/To soak up the tears/But look at her now/Watch her go.”

Listen to the song for yourself, below:

Fans were definitely here for it on Twitter.

Gomez also took to Instagram Live last night with a message for her fans about treating others with kindness. The move seems to be in response to the drama surrounding her and Bieber’s now-wife, Hailey Baldwin. (After Gomez released her first song yesterday, “Lose You to Love Me,” Baldwin posted an Instagram Story that some fans perceived to be a dig at the singer.) “”I am so grateful for the response of the song. However, I will never stand for women tearing other women down,” Gomez said. “So please be kind to everyone.”

Ariana Grande Dropped a Sequel to 'Thank U, Next' in Honor of Her New Fragrance

When she’s not tearing up the stage on tour, creating new fashion trends, or making us laugh and cry alongside her on social media, Ariana Grande is busy releasing delicious fragrances. She’s got a handful of sweet scents to her name, including Sweet Like Candy, Ari, Moonlight, and Cloud, all named after significant songs, lyrics, or, well, herself. Now a new frag named — what else — Thank U, Next is joining the family, and Ariana pulled out all the stops to promote it: She released a commercial-length sequel to her wildly popular ’00s movie throwback music video for the song of the same name, and we can’t stop LOLing.

The video, which clocks in at a little over a minute, opens with the same Mean Girls-style “I heard …” clips of “students” in a high school setting. “I heard that Ariana has a new perfume,” says her friend Colleen Ballinger, who appeared in the original music video while pregnant and now has a baby strapped to her chest. (Aww!) “I heard she sings to her rose garden every day. They get a private concert,” says another faux-student. “Well, I heard she swam with actual mermaids in the Bermuda Triangle and convinced them to give her the velvety musk of their new sea god,” says yet another. (Musk is a key ingredient in the Thank U, Next fragrance, in case you hadn’t figured that out.) “Rumor has it, she put part of her ponytail in it,” is another LOL-worthy rumor included in the video. We have a feeling she didn’t actually put strands of her hair in the mix, though you do see her snipping off a bit of her iconic style, but you never know!

Ariana doesn’t stop at Mean Girls, either. The Bring It On references are alive and well in the Thank U, Next fragrance commercial, with the Clovers and Toros cheerleaders making appearances. “I heard how she went to space to find the best pears for her little fragrance,” says the Clovers head cheerleader. “She should have just come to Compton.”

“Are you sure it was pear? I heard it was coconut,” says Ariana-as-Torrance Shipman, making her first appearance in the video. She shows up again to throw a little tongue-in-cheek shade at herself, saying, “Honestly, I’m not the biggest Ariana Grande fan, but I do hear the new fragrance is … somewhat promising.” Even her beloved dog Toulouse pops in towards the end. Everyone’s on board for Thank U, Next, and so are we!

Ariana trademarked the phrase “Thank U, Next” back in April, leading fans to believe that “Thank U, Next”-inspired body and beauty products were on the way. They were right! Thank U Next the fragrance is a creamy, juicy blend of white pear, white raspberry, creme de coconut, pink rose petals, and velvet musk, and comes in a sweet-yet-saucy broken heart-shaped bottle. The fragrance retails for $42.00 for 1oz. exclusively at Ulta, who describes it as “Optimistically outspoken. Playful yet cool.” Just like Ariana herself.

Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey Just Dropped a Music Video—and People Are Freaking Out

Good morning, angels.

Or perhaps I shouldn’t say that, at least according to the lyrics to the new song from Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey—”Don’t Call Me Angel.” That’s right: Three of the biggest names in pop music got together to record a track for the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska—and directed by Elizabeth Banks.

The lyrics are definitely fitting for both these singers and the vibe of Charlie’s Angels. Could this verse sound more like Miley? “Uh, don’t call me angel when I’m a mess / Don’t call me angel when I get undressed / You know I, I don’t like that, boy / Uh, I make my money, and I write the checks / So say my name with a little respect / All my girls successful, and you’re just our guest.”

Then, Ariana chimes in with, “See you here with somebody / You sizin’ up my body, oh yeah / Don’t you know that I bite when the sun set? Yeah, so don’t you try come around me / Might work with her, but not me, oh yeah / Don’t you know that I bite when the sun set?”

And finally Lana closes us out by singing, “I appreciate the way you watch me, I can’t lie / I drop it down, I pick it up, I back it off the county line / I fell from Heaven, now I’m living like a devil / You can’t get me off your mind.”

The video plays into the singers’ public personas, as you can see for yourself, below.

Obviously, fans on social media are very excited about this. “I love how they changed nothing from their personalities to their type of music to make it fit into one song,” one fan tweeted. “Lana is uniquely lana, Ariana is uniquely Ariana and miley is uniquely miley. I LOVE THIS.”

Charlie’s Angels opens in theaters on November 15.

Cole Sprouse Just Dropped a Big Hint About Bughead's Future on 'Riverdale' Season 4

Season four of Riverdale doesn’t come out until October, but that doesn’t keep fans from wanting answers and hints about what’s to come in the new season. Over the weekend, members of the show’s cast stopped by the San Diego Comic-Con convention to share glimpses of the upcoming season—including what will be happening with a few key relationships on the show. Namely, those of “Bughead” (that’s Jughead and Betty) and “Varchie” (Archie and Veronica).

During the panel, KJ Apa (Archie), Camila Mendes (Veronica), Lili Reinhart (Betty), Cole Sprouse (Jughead), and Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl) shared an update about where all their on-screen relationships stand—and fair warning, stans of the couples: It doesn’t look like it’s smooth sailing ahead, especially with a new mystery unfolding this season, too.

It seems like Veronica and Archie will remain strong after a rocky time in season three: “Varchie is looking pretty solid, am I right, KJ?” Mendes asked Apa, who, according to Entertainment Tonight, replied, “Pretty solid. Very solid.”

Betty and Jughead’s relationship will be tested due to distance, Sprouse shared, with some potential trouble in paradise ahead. Jughead won’t be attending Riverdale High School this season, after all—instead, he’ll be away at prep school for senior year.

“He’s only back in Riverdale on the weekends,” Sprouse said at Comic-Con, according to ET. “I think that is going to inevitably put stress on the relationship between Betty and Jughead.”

Reinhart chimed in, adding that “distance will probably cause some stress,” before Sprouse continued. “I think it might be a little bit tense,” he said. “They might fall, turn away from each other, only to come back together way stronger. I think they’re gonna be really good.”

On the same note, Cheryl and Toni will also face a “rocky road,” according to Petsch, because Cheryl is hiding a very big secret from her girlfriend. “[Cheryl] definitely needs some happiness, but it wouldn’t be Cheryl Blossom if there’s not a little chaos,” she said.

As far as Veronica’s thing with Reggie Mantle, it might be over, but that doesn’t mean he’s totally out of her life. “There will definitely be a confrontation about them,” Mendes said, per ET. “I think Reggie has some hurt feelings.”

We can’t wait to see how season four plays out already—in the meantime, here’s everything we know about it (so far).

Taylor Swift Just Dropped Another Huge Hint About Her New Album Title

Fans who missed seeing Taylor Swift during her reclusive reputation era have a lot to celebrate in the time of her upcoming album, presently known as TS7. It seems like since dropping her glitter bomb single “ME!”, she’s given Swifties more juicy information to chew on—particularly, via interviews with “human journalists” filled with Easter Eggs about her release.

A soundbite from a Q&A earlier this week may have eliminated one giant question mark from the outstanding questions fans still have about TS7—and that’s what, exactly, she’s dubbing her new era. In an interview with The Independent, Swift hinted that the title of her new album has been hiding in plain sight in the lyrics and music video imagery for “ME!”.

The Independent asked Swift the question we all were wondering: “How many clues are there to the album title in the music video?” She responded: “I think you see it once and you hear it twice.”

Those two numbers were all fans needed to track down the potential title—and they didn’t have to reach that hard to find it after Swift’s quote hit the Internet. It seems that Swift was referring to the word “lover.”

The word immediately caught fans’ eyes (and Glamour‘s Christopher Rosa). In the music video, it’s seen after the second verse, written in cursive on a neon sign in the background.

A neon song spelling out “lover” had fans talking when “ME!” debuted. It may be the title of Swift’s album after all.

Then, there’s the pre-chorus to the song, where the word appears twice. After both verses, Swift sings: “Baby doll when it comes to a lover/I promise that you’ll never find another like me.”

All signs point to “Lover” as the title of Swift’s seventh album, but it’s been part of her lexicon for several album cycles. She used to reference ill-fated paramours in 1989‘s “Blank Space:” “Got a long list of ex-lovers/They’ll tell you I’m insane.” It also appeared in songs about her boyfriend Joe Alwyn on reputation, including “Call It What You Want” and “…Ready For It?”

The title meshes with Swift’s apparent rose-colored outlook in TS7—and her habit for leaving clues for fans everywhere she can. In her cover story for Entertainment Weekly, where she confirmed that her next album is complete, she said she enjoys letting her fans play detective. “I love that they like the cryptic hint-dropping,” she said. “Because as long as they like it, I’ll keep doing it. It’s fun. It feels mischievous and playful.”

The clues are adding up: Reputation was all about warding off her haters, but in TS7, it seems like Swift’s only focused on her “Lover.”
