Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska Are Your New *Charlie's Angels*


On Thursday (July 26), Variety confirmed that Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska have officially joined the new Charlie’s Angels reboot as, you guessed it, the three Angels. The new movie will be directed by Elizabeth Banks, who’s also playing the Angels’ manager, Bosley.

Per Variety, this new Charlie’s Angels will focus on a new generation of Angels working for the ubiquitous Charlie. Apparently, the movie’s Townsend Agency hub is now a huge organization, with teams of agents working cases worldwide. The film will focus on three members of one of those “teams” (Stewart, Scott, and Balinska) as they work a big mission. Other details are sparse, but we do have a confirmed premiere date: September 27, 2019.The last major iteration of Charlie’s Angels happened in 2000, with Lucy Liu, Drew Barrymore, and Cameron Diaz stepping into the roles.

Stewart, of course, achieved worldwide fame when she starred in the Twilight series nearly a decade ago. Meanwhile, you might know Scott from her recent work in Power Rangers or future work in the live-action Aladdin (she’s playing Jasmine). Balinska is best known for her television work in the U.K., such as Midsomer Murders and Casualty. Banks told Variety she’s excited to make a movie about a “new era of modern and global Angels.”

“Charlie’s Angels, for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the ’70s,” Banks said. “This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels. I couldn’t be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world.” Is it next September yet?

Welp, the Kardashians Won't Be Throwing Shade at Scott Disick and Sofia Richie Anymore


It seems like the Kardashians are going to have to dial down their shade levels a bit, because Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have reportedly called it quits after almost a year of traveling—and kissing in front of cameras together. A source has apparently confirmed to People that Richie has broken up with Disick, citing his “old issues” as contributing to their split.

“When Scott drinks, he is a sloppy mess and fools around,” the source told People.

There were also rumors floating around that Disick had cheated on Richie.

If you remember, the Kardashians were not happy when they heard that father and then-34-year-old Disick was in a relationship with 19-year-old Sofia Richie. There were savage Instagram comments (see: Kendall writing “Aww, Scott and his kids” on a photo of Richie and Disick) and televised interrogations (see: matriarch Kris straight-up trolling Disick by asking him to confirm both Richie’s age and his own age during an episode of KUWTK).

We’re not here to judge the relationships of consenting adults, but the 14-year age difference between Disick and Richie did raise some eyebrows, especially after Disick flipped out about ex Kourtney’s relationship with Younes Bendjima, an almost-equally younger man, earlier this year. Double standards, y’all.

This wasn’t Disick’s first relationship with someone younger than the youngest of the KarJenner sisters. Disick had a short-lived and extremely confusing fling with Bella Thorne in the summer of 2017. They were spotted making out and getting real PDA-y poolside in Cannes. When the Internet responded by freaking out, Thorne said she and Disick were “legit nothing,” and then Disick said he only dated Thorne to make Kourtney angry. So…yikes.

Although the Kardashians can’t cast their shade on this relationship any longer, it’s only a matter of time until another family-adjacent juicy relationship makes headlines. Please watch this space for more.

The MAC x Jeremy Scott Palettes Look Like Your High School Mix Tapes


If you were a kid of the nineties/early aughts, you most certainly remember the thrill of firing up Napster. Waiting 10 minutes for each song to download was absolutely worth the indelible feeling of coming up with a great name to Sharpie on a warm, freshly burned CD. In terms of nostalgia, it’s high up there with Steve Madden’s stretchy sandals and anything Britney. Which bring us to this: MAC and designer Jeremy Scott are teaming up on collection of palettes that look exactly like mixed tapes—down to the scrawled-on handwriting that only came with meticulous practice.

Given pop culture’s current obsession with all things from the era and the fact that Scott is the one behind the recent Ugg resurgence, the line isn’t all that surprising. Nonetheless, the packaging is so cute it’s pretty hard not to love. Starting with the Acoustica Cheek palette ($35), every detail is spot on: It’s got everything from the delightfully punny name (“Cheeky Mixtape Vol. 1”) to the bubble-dot “I”.

For the full experience, the exterior packaging is also a relic with realistic CD sleeves. The cheek colors inside are just as good, a peachy pink blush, warm bronzer, and shimmery champagne highlighter.

That attention to detail keeps up through the Future Emotion lip palette ($35), a set of nine lip colors packaged in a cassette case. Sharpie alias: Bumpin Jamz with a squiggly underline, in true nineties style. Like the cheek colors, the colors inside are likewise timeless. They run from crimson, to fuchsia, to wine, and hit a vibrant purple along the way.

And here’s where things go seriously AV club (or Say Anything). The collection’s last piece is the boombox-packaged Lo-Fi eyeshadow palette ($75), with 29 shadows inside. Picture club neons in shades of gold, pink, blue, green, purple, and orange, plus a center set of work-appropriate cool neutrals. The front is again beyond accurate, from the mixboard where you could pump up the bass to the cassette slot with a mini, faux version of the lip palette.

The line starts rolling out to select MAC stores on February 8, which gives you just enough time to painstakingly put together the perfect getting-ready playlist—and not a minute sooner. What Spotify?

Scott Disick Said He Dated Bella Thorne to Make Kourtney Kardashian Mad


Bella Thorne and Scott Disick set Twitter on fire over the summer when photos of them making out in Cannes leaked. It was the WTF fling the world couldn’t stop talking about. How the hell did these two get together? What did they talk about? Was Thorne aware of Disick’s Todd Kraines impression? Was he a fan of Shake It Up? It’s been nearly six months since their “romance,” and many of these questions have still gone unanswered.

But one of the mysteries was solved on last night’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In the twist literally everyone saw coming, Kendall Jenner revealed Disick only started seeing Thorne to make his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, upset. Jenner apparently had a phone conversation with Disick about his relationship with Thorne, and he straight-up said, “Yeah I’m doing it to make Kourtney mad.”

And the tea didn’t stop there. While flipping through paparazzi photos of Disick and Thorne, Kim Kardashian said, “They looked so desperate… Like who goes to LAX together?” Ouch.

What Jenner and Kardashian said about Disick and Thorne on KUWTK last night is not entirely far off from what Thorne herself contends. The former Disney star said in July that she and Disick were “never involved sexually.” When a fan asked on Twitter what her relationship is with Disick, she said “legit nothing.” If Disick was just using Thorne for photo opportunities to make Kourtney mad, it makes sense why their time together was never physical.

In an interview with Complex, Thorne drove this point home even further, saying, “Scott is really nice, sweet, charming. I don’t drink, and he really drinks a lot. And it just ended up…I just wasn’t down. I was like, ‘I gotta leave’… I love to go out and have fun, I love to fucking dance, but I just don’t party hardcore like that and it was way too much for me.”

Scott Disick Says Khloé Kardashian Doesn't Need His Parenting Advice


The Kardashian-Jenner clan broke the Internet for the billionth time last month when several outlets reported Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are pregnant. Granted, this news still hasn’t been confirmed by Khloé or Kylie themselves; Kylie hasn’t said anything about it, and the only thing Khloé’s done is shut down social media chatter about a certain “baby bump” photo. In fact, most of the family has remained tight-lipped about these reports; sure, Kim Kardashian dismissed a few stories adjacent to these pregnancies, but no one has directly addressed the idea of Khloé or Kylie becoming mothers.

Well, until now. E! News caught up with Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, over the weekend and asked him if he has any advice for Khloé about raising a baby. Here’s what he said:

“Well, if she ever asks I’m sure I would try. But I feel like all of
us are so close that all of our children are kind of brought up in the
same vicinity, or one block over, that everybody’s kind of there for
each other, I don’t really need to give advice per se because, we are
right there. It’s not like long-distance, ‘Hey, maybe you should try
this?’ Everybody so hands-on that I feel like it will happen within
time. So no real advice in that sense.”

It’s a vague answer, but notice how he doesn’t deny that Khloé is expecting. Of course, it’s possible he’s speaking in a completely hypothetical scenario. E! News could’ve just been asking, innocuously, if Scott has any advice for Khloé if and when she decides to become a mom.

But that would be…strange. Asking Scott a question about Khloé raising children is very random if that’s not in her immediate future. If Khloé isn’t planning to raise a child any time soon, why wouldn’t Scott just say that as opposed to this ambiguous nonsense? It’s essentially a non-confirmation confirmation.

Obviously, let’s wait until Khloé or Kylie comments to get truly excited. However, Scott’s quote is certainly a good indication that the Kardashian-Jenner family is expanding.

Adam Scott talks Big Little Lies, Ghosted on Fox, and the nineties horror franchise he could never infiltrate


Before posing for this adorably pensive portrait (not pictured: standard issue New Balances), Adam Scott, 44, had never been photographed by a woman for a major magazine. Seriously. First, as part of Glamour‘s second-annual “Powered by Women” initiative, we fixed that. And then we called up the brainy funnyman for a tour of his beautiful mind. Turns out he’s dreamier than we could have ever imagined.

GLAMOUR: Ghosted, your new buddy comedy series with Craig Robinson, loves to put you in awkward situations. Why do you think you’re so comfortable playing the punch line?

ADAM SCOTT: I guess I’ve always felt kind of weird. I went through a long and fruitful overweight-awkward stage, and I got teased. I had a taste—well, more than a taste—I was kind of living in that space for a while. That’s the kind of thing that shapes you.

GLAMOUR: You and Craig have an unbelievable physical comedy dynamic. What’s it like to be the little dude in the little dude-big dude paradigm?

AS: Craig is such a sweet guy, but when you look at Craig and me from the outside, there couldn’t be two more different-looking people. The writers have fun trying to subvert that and play with it.

GLAMOUR: So do you toss all the “buff guy gets girl” scripts out the window?

AS: Oh, I gave up on trying to get those parts 20 years ago. I auditioned for every ­nineties flick, but it never happened for me. I think I auditioned for all the *Screams*, actually, and didn’t get any of them. And there are a lot of those movies.

GLAMOUR: Wait, you went out for Skeet Ulrich’s role in Scream?

AS: That must have been it. That had to be it. I think it was.

GLAMOUR: As someone who was 12 when Scream came out, this is a big reveal. It doesn’t matter, though, because you went on to play Amy Poehler’s love interest on five seasons of Parks and Recreation, which led to more than one fangirl listicle. Is it cool being a hipster-nerd sex icon now?

AS: When that stuff first started happening, I was hyperaware of it. But as it continued, I grew more and more weary of it. I can only imagine if I’d had any success when I was 19 or 20. That would have surely gone to my head.

GLAMOUR: What was it about Ed, Reese Witherspoon’s hopelessly devoted husband on Big Little Lies, that
made you want to play him?

AS: He genuinely loved Madeline. And he was determined to clear the way for her. He’s there to protect her and keep her safe, which makes him feel safe. They end up finding their way on the show, which is nice. But yeah, it obviously wasn’t the healthiest relationship.

GLAMOUR: I’ve got to ask: What exactly are you doing right now? It’s awfully noisy where you are.…

AS: I’ll tell you what I’m doing! I have to get to work, and I am the last one in the house, so I have to put the dog in the kitchen. Then we have this, like, smoothie delivery service, so I’m putting a bunch of them in the freezer for my wife. I am also trying to set the alarm so I can get out of here.

GLAMOUR: I always joke that men can’t multitask, but here you are, a renaissance man.

AS: Exactly. [Laughs.] Please put that in the article.

GLAMOUR: Of course! Okay, time for a truly loaded question: “Fuck, Marry, Kill” with Madeline McKinsey, Leslie Knope, and Party Down‘s Casey Klein.

AS: Oh, boy, that’s dangerous territory. Okay, so I think any sane person would marry Leslie Knope, right?

GLAMOUR: Absolutely.

AS: I feel like Casey Klein would just be heartbreak. And we saw what kinda trouble Madeline brings. I don’t want to kill any of them, though. The other two I am just going to leave up in the air and it could be, like, interchangeable.
