Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Are Reportedly 'Taking Some Time' Apart


One of the internet’s most talked about couples is no more—at least for now.

TMZ was the first to report that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are on a break from their relationship. “We’re told they’ve been trying to make the relationship work for a while, but several weeks ago they decided to step away,” TMZ reports.

“They are taking some time but not done,” a source told People. “They still have some trust issues but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles.”

The couple, who have been together for over two years, were first linked to each other publicly at a Coachella party in 2017 after Jenner’s breakup with Tyga. In February 2018, Jenner gave birth to their daughter, Stormi Webster—Scott’s given name is Jacques Berman Webster II—and received a $1.4 million Ferarri as a push present from her boyfriend.

Neither Jenner nor Scott have publicly confirmed the split, but Scott appeared to be absent from Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin‘s wedding festivities in South Carolina, where Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, and sister Kendall were also present.

Last December, Jenner and her sisters shut down fake rumors about Scott cheating. (They ended up being a prank.) “Idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you’re messing with real people, real relationships, real family,” Jenner posted. “I’m happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The Internet scares me sometimes for real.”

Jenner and Scott have not been seen together publicly since the August 28 premiere of the rapper’s Netflix documentary Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly. And he last appeared on Jenner’s Instagram with a teaser photo from their Playboy photo shoot on September 10.

TMZ notes this isn’t the first time they’ve taken a break and that co-parenting Stormi is the top priority—so we’ll probably just need to wait and see if this break turns into an actual a breakup.

Body-Shamers Are Leaving Toxic Comments on a Photo of Kylie Jenner—Again


Kylie Jenner might be both a billionaire and a high-profile reality TV star, but she’s also a person—a person who’s currently facing a wave of derogatory and inappropriate comments from body-shamers on Instagram. While she’s been celebrating her 22nd birthday in Italy, Jenner’s also been sharing photos from the trip on both her personal account and the official accounts for her many cosmetics and skincare brands. In them, she’s sunning herself in a bikini, joined by a package of her skincare products. Trolls took the photo as permission to make comments about Jenner’s body—specifically, her butt.

Commenters rudely compared Jenner’s curves to a full diaper. “Time to change your diaper, baby girl,” one person said in the comments. “I think your diaper is full,” another commented.

The commentary only went downhill from there. Other users chimed in to question whether Jenner’s body is “natural.” “I remember when you looked like a surfboard,” one said.

One hero emerged from the toxic comment wasteland to set the others in place: “Comments like yours is [sic] what makes people want to do things differently with their bodies,” they wrote.

Of course, one kind comment doesn’t cancel out the damaging effects of several negative ones—and we’ve seen the movie before: Celebrity wears a swimsuit, celebrity decides to take a picture, body-shamers come out of the woodwork to throw in their unnecessary two cents. But frequency doesn’t make this cycle any more excusable.

Nothing about a picture of the media mogul in a swimsuit warrants the comments that body-shamers made (or comments about her body at all), and Jenner doesn’t owe anyone an explanation about procedures she may or may not have had, nor does she deserve gross barbs about her body’s shape on Instagram. If she wants to talk about her body—which she has—she will. Otherwise, let her be.

Kylie Jenner Wore a $22,000 Feather Gown to Celebrate Her 22nd Birthday


Kylie Jenner is currently ringing in 22 in style—and by style, we mean very high style indeed. The cosmetics mogul wore a truly stunning $22,290 Oscar de la Renta gown to celebrate her big day. A snapshot of the moment was posted to the designer’s Instagram account on Sunday (August 11)—the day after Kylie’s birthday. It shows Kylie and her mom Kris having a mother-daughter moment on the deck of the yacht Kylie rented for her birthday. The billionaire is striking a pose against Kris’s arm, feathers flying in the breeze, while Kris is throwing her arm out like she’s just landed a perfect 10.

“Birthday beauty. Kylie Jenner floated through her day in our enchanting #odlrfall2019 one-shoulder gown,” the Oscar de la Renta Instagram account captioned the photo. The one-shouldered dress is from the designer’s fall 2019 collection and has a dramatic high-low skirt culminating in a small train—and every single inch is covered in ostrich feathers. Although it’s hard to see in Kylie’s pic, the dress is finished off with a black waistband. Did we mention it’s $22,290? (And is it a coincidence that the price tag basically matches her birthday?)

It’s not the first feathery dress she’s worn for her birthday festivities this year: She also wore a hot pink minidress for a birthday photoshoot with photographer Amber Asaly, who also seems to be the one behind Kylie’s pic with Kris. The pink dress, by The Attico, was a more casual $4,569.

People Are Calling Kylie Jenner's New Makeup Launch 'Tone Deaf'


Kylie Jenner, certified billionaire, announced this week that she’s adding another line to her Kylie Cosmetics empire—and some people aren’t super pleased about it.

On Thursday, Jenner posted on Instagram that she would be launching a “Birthday Collection” in honor of her 22nd birthday on August 10, and in subsequent Instagram Stories, she revealed that the theme would be money. And she didn’t hold back on going all the way with the theme: The collection includes beauty products like lip glosses, eye palettes, and highlighters, packaging emblazoned with dollar signs and fake Benjamins. A lipstick trio masquerades as a roll of $20s, except this is Kylieland, and they’re $22 notes instead for her birthday. Twitter also had a lot to say once they got a peek at some of the names of the shades, which include “Work for It,” “On a Budget,” and “Money Ain’t Everything.”

Obviously, Twitter had some thoughts.

There’s also a palette that tells customers that they’re “so money baby”—part of a quote from 1996’s Swingers—in glittery hot pink block letters, but one can be forgiven for misreading it. (It seems like a lot of people are.)

It seems like Jenner might have anticipated the backlash, however. After a few people commented and asked if she was planning to donate some of the money from the sales to charity, Jenner said on Instagram Stories that “we, I, am giving back. Actually, I do mean ‘we’ because we are doing this together. You guys are going to help me give back in a huge, huge way. All I wanted for my birthday was to do this money collection and give it all away.”

Jenner also added that she has a “special person” helping her with the collection and that “we are going to do amazing things.”

What all this means isn’t entirely clear right now, but we’re sure more details will come closer to the launch.

Calm Down Everyone, Kylie Jenner Isn't Pregnant


Sorry, everyone: We won’t be seeing an over-the-top Kylie Jenner baby shower any time soon. Although some people thought they heard Jenner saying, “I’m pregnant!” in a viral video from her sister Khloé Kardashian’s birthday party, several sources have confirmed that the reality show star is not planning to add more little ones to her family right now.

The rumors started after Khloé uploaded a bunch of birthday footage to her Instagram Stories. She left the volume on in one short clip, and at the end of it, a voice could be heard making what sounded like a quick pregnancy announcement. Fans believed the voice sounded a lot like Kylie’s, and immediately, they started speculating that perhaps Jenner was having another kid and giving Stormi, her daughter with Travis Scott, a little sibling.

But E! News broke the no-baby news on Friday, saying that it had confirmed that the whole thing was actually a simple case of mistaken identity. A source of theirs had previously said that Kylie eventually does want to have more children—it just looks like now isn’t quite the time yet.

“Kylie talks about having another baby very frequently,” a source said. “She would love to have another baby with Travis and would love to be pregnant by next year. She talks about it all the time and feels like she was truly meant to be a mother.”

Page Six also confirmed that the voice from the party was somebody else’s.

Of course, Kylie isn’t known for being the most forthcoming person about her personal life: She refused to say anything when she was pregnant with Stormi—and even now, people are still wondering what the actual relationship status is with her and Scott (she’s kept everyone guessing about a possible engagement for months now). So, if she does decide to have another child, we’ll just have to accept she’ll tell us her own very Kylie way.

Kylie Jenner Apparently Talked About ‘How Rich She Is’ at the Met Gala


My favorite thing to daydream about is what my life would be like if I were rich. I’d absolutely wear diamonds everywhere, even to the DMV. My house would have a room dedicated to Britney Spears dance parties. And I’d 100 percent, without a doubt, greet people by saying, “Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m rich.“

Which is apparently what Kylie Jenner did at the 2019 Met Gala last month. Well, not exactly. In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Alex Rodriguez, who sat at Jenner’s table during the soiree, says a topic of conversation that night was the beauty mogul talking about “how rich she is.”

“We had a great table,” Rodriguez told the magazine about his Met Gala experience. “We had Kylie [Jenner] and Kendall [Jenner]. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is.”

To be clear, Jenner probably didn’t say the words “I’m rich,” but imagine if she did. On the one hand, eye roll, but on the other: goals. If Renata Klein is teaching us anything on Big Little Lies this season, it’s that we shouldn’t hide our opulence: We should lean into it whenever we can. For me, who has zero dollars, that means strutting down the street listening to “Glamorous” by Fergie and pretending I’m Kylie Jenner. For Kylie Jenner, it means…well, being Kylie Jenner.

In March 2019, Forbes named Jenner the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, a title that caused some debate online. “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Jenner told Forbes upon receiving the honor. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”

Self-made or not, I’m not judging Jenner if she did brag a little bit about her money at the Met Gala. Hell, I’d do the same if I were her. In fact, I’d do the same if I just randomly found $5 in my pocket.
