Baby Archie's Biggest Milestones That Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Have Talked About

It seems like just yesterday that the we were all waiting not-so-patiently for the arrival of baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the first child of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. In just the first six months of his life, he’s met the world’s press, been christened in front of two future kings (his grandfather, Prince Charles and his uncle, Prince William), and gone on his first royal tour in Africa, where he casually met Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

While those are the kinds of milestones that Archie mostly has in common with his cousins—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—he’s also just a baby, doing baby things. Markle and Prince Harry revealed some of their son’s latest milestones at a previously-unannounced visit with military families in Windsor yesterday (November 6).

In a video on the Sussex Royal Instagram, Markle has a sweet interaction with a little girl. “Look at all your teeth! Archie just got two teeth, two tiny ones right there,” she says, gesturing to her bottom gum.

Another mom at the event, Amy Thompson, said she chatted with the Duchess of Sussex about their children being on the move. “My daughter Aeris is the same age as Archie and we talked about weaning and the children beginning to crawl,” she said, per Hello! magazine. “She’s just a normal mum and it was like talking to a friend.”

The visit with military families is just one of a number of events the royals have this week, leading up to Remembrance Sunday (November 10). Markle and Prince Harry visited Westminster Abbey’s Field of Remembrance today and placed crosses of remembrance there to mark the service and sacrifice of British veterans. It was Prince Harry’s seventh time at the event, and Markle’s first.

The Sussexes, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are expected to reunite this weekend for the Remembrance Sunday ceremonies.

Kylie Jenner Apparently Talked About ‘How Rich She Is’ at the Met Gala

My favorite thing to daydream about is what my life would be like if I were rich. I’d absolutely wear diamonds everywhere, even to the DMV. My house would have a room dedicated to Britney Spears dance parties. And I’d 100 percent, without a doubt, greet people by saying, “Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m rich.

Which is apparently what Kylie Jenner did at the 2019 Met Gala last month. Well, not exactly. In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Alex Rodriguez, who sat at Jenner’s table during the soiree, says a topic of conversation that night was the beauty mogul talking about “how rich she is.”

“We had a great table,” Rodriguez told the magazine about his Met Gala experience. “We had Kylie [Jenner] and Kendall [Jenner]. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is.”

To be clear, Jenner probably didn’t say the words “I’m rich,” but imagine if she did. On the one hand, eye roll, but on the other: goals. If Renata Klein is teaching us anything on Big Little Lies this season, it’s that we shouldn’t hide our opulence: We should lean into it whenever we can. For me, who has zero dollars, that means strutting down the street listening to “Glamorous” by Fergie and pretending I’m Kylie Jenner. For Kylie Jenner, it means…well, being Kylie Jenner.

In March 2019, Forbes named Jenner the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, a title that caused some debate online. “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Jenner told Forbes upon receiving the honor. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”

Self-made or not, I’m not judging Jenner if she did brag a little bit about her money at the Met Gala. Hell, I’d do the same if I were her. In fact, I’d do the same if I just randomly found $5 in my pocket.

The Secret Way Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Talked When They Started Dating

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry currently live such public lives that it’s easy to forget when their relationship was quite private. Remember, the duo waited until November 2017 to confirm their relationship—through an engagement announcement, no less. Before this, everything was speculative. No one knew whether Markle and Prince Harry were dating because they were so inconspicuous when they spent time together. There were rumors Prince Harry would fly back and forth between London and Toronto, where Markle was filming Suits at the time. She reportedly made the same trip every few weeks, as well. And they even, reportedly, had a secret way with which they communicated long distance. It’s nothing crazy: They used their cell phones, but Prince Harry reportedly used a secret Instagram account to direct-message Markle.

This comes from royal expert Omid Scobie, who says the early stages of the couple’s relationship was dependent on DMs because they lived in different countries. Prince Harry is reportedly a big fan of emoji and uses them quite often when communicating with Markle, both then and now. “A lot of their early days were spent DM-ing and texting back and forth,” Scobie told Royal Box, according to the Daily Express.

Scobie says Prince Harry’s secret Instagram account still exists, and he also has a secret Twitter one he uses to keep tabs on the media. “Prince Harry told me that he follows a lot of the royal correspondents on Twitter to see what they’re up to,” he also told Royal Box. “I think he does pay attention to what’s being written about him and, of course, now his wife.”

Because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry mostly travel together now, the amount of DMs they have is probably limited. That being said, I’m dying to know what emoji he uses when he’s annoyed by a rumor. Angry-face emoji (?)? Crying emoji (?)? Side-eye emoji (?)? All are fine choices.

Beyoncé Once Talked Tiffany Haddish Out of a Fight

Girls Trip‘s Tiffany Haddish has had an amazing year. She was the breakout star of a hit summer comedy, announced the Academy Award nominations, signed a deal with HBO, will appear in a Super Bowl ad, and is in talks to work with director Paul Thomas Anderson. But nothing can top the fact that she met the Queen herself, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, at a party and got a selfie with Her Majesty—all in the name of world peace.

Take a look:

Speaking to Vulture about her amazing ride, she told as much as she could about how she ended up getting the picture, and the wisdom Bey shared with her. “Okay, so what had happened was, something had went down with somebody at the party, right? I’m not at liberty to say what had went down at the party, but Beyoncé was just telling me to have a good time, and I was like, ‘No, I’m gonna end up fighting this bitch!’ She was like, ‘No, have fun, Tiffany,’ and I said, ‘I’m only going to have fun if you take a selfie with me,'” Haddish said.

“[Beyoncé] said, ‘Okay,’ and then she buried her face in my wig. We took the picture and I was like, ‘Is my wig slipping?’ And she was like, ‘Mmm-hmm.’ But she knew who I was! She came up to me and was like, ‘I think you are so funny, Tiffany Haddish.’ I was like, ‘What? You know me?!’ She said, ‘I’m Beyoncé.’ ‘I KNOW!'”

Okay, now we really need to know who Tiffany was about to fight. Another comedian? Another actress? Someone who said Beyoncé was overrated? Because if that’s the case, honestly, sometimes you just have to take it outside.

None of the Male Winners at the Golden Globes Talked About Time's Up in Their Speeches

To call last night’s Golden Globes ceremony powerful would be an understatement. Just six days after some of Hollywood’s most influential women launched Time’s Up, an organization dedicated to ending gender imbalance and sexual harassment in the workplace, the entertainment industry at large gathered for the annual Globes show—and it was unlike any previous year.

The female attendees, nominees, and winners used the evening to bring more awareness to Time’s Up and sexual assault survivors. Several brought important activists as their dates for the evening. Both Eva Longoria and Debra Messing called out E!—while on E!—for not giving Catt Sadler equal pay. Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern each gave moving speeches about the women’s movement. Elisabeth Moss read a Margaret Atwood excerpt following her win. And Oprah’s speech brought the house down—and Twitter to tears.

But one group of people stayed frustratingly silent: the men. None of the male winners mentioned Time’s Up or sexual assault survivors in their speeches last night. Not even Alexander Skarsgård, who won a Best Supporting Actor award for Big Little Lies…in which he plays an abusive husband. (In his speech, Skarsgård even referred to his female BLL cast mates as “girls.” Cringe.) Neither did Sam Rockwell, who portrayed a violent cop in Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri.

The divide between the male and female attendees last night was perhaps most apparent during James Franco’s speech for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for The Disaster Artist. He used the opportunity to thank what seemed like every man he’s ever known and physically pushed Tommy Wiseau—the subject of The Disaster Artist—out of the way when he joined him on stage. The night before, Franco hosted a dinner party for all the Globes Best Actor nominees. It was an actual boys’ club.

Twitter users noticed the men’s silence, too—and they weren’t happy about it.

Every man who appeared on stage last night had a chance to voice their support for women—and they missed it completely. In order for us to see real change when it comes to gender inequality and sexual harassment, we need to see loud, vocal support from both men and women. Now is not the time to be passive. Yes, it’s important that men listen and allow women to lead these conversations, but when they have an opportunity to rally behind them publicly—on live television, no less—they should take it.

There is a silver lining, though. Many of the men Glamour interviewed on the red carpet were quite outspoken about the Time’s Up movement. “I’m first and foremost a feminist,” Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us told us. “Seeing a sea of black and knowing that we’re all speaking up for some great injustices that have happened not only in our industry but across many, many industries and many, many different businesses—it’s the time to speak up and stand up. Equality, equality, equality.”

Darren Criss added, “I feel really inspired by the amount of people who’ve turned out for the all-black. I thought there was going to be somber overtones to it, and I have been proved completely wrong. It’s more of a celebration of a communal resilience, and it’s less lamenting about things that have come to pass and more looking toward the future of what we can do together.”

If only we heard more quotes like these last night during the broadcast—when millions of people were watching. Just imagine that impact.

Taylor Swift Would Reportedly 'Hunch Over' Every Time She Talked About This Ex-Boyfriend

It’s been over a month since Taylor Swift released her new album, Reputation, and fans are still decoding the lyrics. I mean, there’s a lot to unpack: Each song contains subtle (and not-so-subtle) references to Swift’s personal life—including several of her ex-boyfriends. No, she doesn’t mention anyone by name, but fans are convinced she calls out Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston several times on the record. They’re reading between the lines.

Which is exactly what they’ll do with her friend Todrick Hall’s recent interview on The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. The Daily Mail reports that Hall appeared on the radio show and dropped some details about Swift’s love life—and one tidbit in particular is going to send Swifties into a tizzy.

Hall didn’t mention anyone specifically, but he said Swift had a boyfriend at one point that made her “hunch over” every time she talked about him. “There was a time last year…I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything, but she was dating someone—I never actually met this person—but I could just tell every time I would talk to her, she would hunch over,” Hall said, according to The Daily Mail.

The “hunching” was so prevalent that Hall reportedly sent Swift a photo of Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame and warned her to to “straighten up before her then-boyfriend continued to bring her down.”

“I was like, ‘You cannot turn into Quasimodo for this guy. Every time you say his name, you hunch over,'” Hall said.

Let’s do a little investigative work to figure out who Hall’s talking about. Notice how he said this happened “last year,” so 2016. The only people Swift dated then—that we know of—are Hiddleston and Harris, so Hall’s most likely referring to one of them. And based on some of the lyrics on Reputation, our money’s on Harris.

Hall most definitely isn’t referring to Swift’s current boyfriend Joe Alwyn, though. He says he’s never seen Swift happier than she is right now, dating Alwyn.

“Now she’s so happy, standing up completely straight and so tall and so confident…I’m so, so happy for her,” Hall said. We could’ve guessed that from Reputation, too. (Please see: “Delicate,” “Gorgeous,” “Dress,” “Call It What You Want,” “King of My Heart,” and “New Year’s Day.”)
