Apparently, Liam Hemsworth Doesn’t Care About Miley Cyrus’s Relationship Status

Liam Hemsworth is reportedly completely unfazed by his ex Miley Cyrus‘s highly-publicized relationships following their split in August. If you’re having trouble keeping up, the “Slide Away” singer was first linked to Kaitlynn Carter after she and Hemsworth announced their divorce. Now, she’s dating Australian singer Cody Simpson. But Hemsworth isn’t keeping up with any of this gossip—he’s moved on.

“[Liam] doesn’t have a reaction or plan on engaging with Miley [at this time],” a source tells E! News. “[He] has moved on.”

The insider adds that Hemsworth hasn’t been “seeking out updates on her and what she’s gotten up to. He doesn’t want to hear about it and usually doesn’t.”

Apparently, “nothing is really a surprise at this point” for the Hunger Games star, per this source: “He’s leaving it all in the past and is in a different place now. He is busy on set and working. That’s his focus now and what he is going to keep doing.”

Liam Hemsworth also has a new fling going on of his own. Earlier this month he was spotted out and about with Dynasty actor Maddison Brown. Their exact status isn’t known to the public, but they were spotted kissing in New York on October 10. The Daily Mail has those photos.

Meanwhile, Cyrus’s new boyfriend Simpson threw some low-key shade at all her exes in a recent interview on the Kylie & Jackie O Show. According to E!, Simpson said that Cyrus hasn’t been able to “experience” romance in any of her previous relationships. “I’d like to be the best boyfriend I could possibly be,” he said.

Hemsworth probably won’t talk about his relationship status any time soon. He was very tight-lipped following his breakup from Cyrus, only offering a brief statement on Instagram. “Hi all.
Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,” he wrote. “This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.”

Chrissy Teigen's Lips Got Crazy-Swollen Thanks to Altitude Sickness, Apparently

Chrissy Teigen rarely shies away from sharing updates about her personal life on social media—and over the weekend, she let her followers know about the reaction she suffered after flying from Los Angeles to Utah for the wedding of her friends Meghan Mackenzie and Luke Dillon. In a series of tweets, Teigen explained the condition is called angioedema, which she believes is due to altitude sickness. Not only did it cause her mouth to feel like it was “about to explode,” but photos show her bottom lip swollen to almost twice the normal size.

According to Mayo Clinic, angioedema causes the deeper layers in your skin to swell as a result of an accumulation of fluid and usually affects loose tissue areas like the eyes and mouth.

“Very upset and saddened that my own birth state, Utah, has chosen to poison me with terrible altitude sickness,” Teigen first tweeted on Saturday, August 16.

She followed that up with a close-up photo of her swollen mouth. “Did u know angioedema can be triggered from altitude sickness? Learn something new every day! My lip about to explode. Goodbye world,” she added.

Teigen also described her lip as “so big it’s shiny and hard like glass.”

But, in true Chrissy Teigen fashion, the Cravings author made light of the situation by joking with her friends. “This is premeditated murder if you ask me,” she tweeted.

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton Apparently Text Each Other All the Time

Rumors of a royal “feud” between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have been brewing for months now—and they’ve been denounced many times. A royals expert, Katie Nicholl, even told Glamour in March that it’s all rubbish. “I think this idea of there being a catfight between the two duchesses has made tantalizing headlines, but I don’t believe that,” she said. “I’ve never heard from my sources that there has ever been a feud or a falling-out.”

But nevertheless the idea that Markle and Middleton dislike each other has persisted. This narrative reached a ridiculous fever pitch in early July when fans speculated that Middleton wore a pair of earrings owned by Princess Diana to Baby Archie’s christening in an attempt to “upstage” Markle. It’s like we’ve somehow forgotten these two women are grown adults whose schedules are far too busy for petty feuds.

Hopefully this new report from Hello! magazine helps end the “feud” speculation once and for all. The Daily Mail reports that sources told Hello! that Markle and Middleton have become quite close and frequently text each other about parenting.

“Kate was a great source of support to Meghan in the days leading up to Archie’s birth and, despite reports of a rift, they are family and have a really lovely friendship,” the source tells Hello!

They continue, “Their relationship has certainly evolved over time and they have become closer since Meghan’s wedding. They talk and text regularly, they have more in common, and Kate has wanted to make sure Meghan has felt welcome into the family.”

This positive report comes just a few days after Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton were spotted together with their kids at Prince Harry and Prince William’s polo match. Tabloids say this outing—plus the duchess’s date at Wimbledon—were deliberate attempts to show a “united front.” Regardless of whether or not that’s true, Hello!’s report asserts the two duchess’s relationship is warm behind the cameras too, which is comforting.

Kylie Jenner Apparently Talked About ‘How Rich She Is’ at the Met Gala

My favorite thing to daydream about is what my life would be like if I were rich. I’d absolutely wear diamonds everywhere, even to the DMV. My house would have a room dedicated to Britney Spears dance parties. And I’d 100 percent, without a doubt, greet people by saying, “Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m rich.

Which is apparently what Kylie Jenner did at the 2019 Met Gala last month. Well, not exactly. In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Alex Rodriguez, who sat at Jenner’s table during the soiree, says a topic of conversation that night was the beauty mogul talking about “how rich she is.”

“We had a great table,” Rodriguez told the magazine about his Met Gala experience. “We had Kylie [Jenner] and Kendall [Jenner]. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is.”

To be clear, Jenner probably didn’t say the words “I’m rich,” but imagine if she did. On the one hand, eye roll, but on the other: goals. If Renata Klein is teaching us anything on Big Little Lies this season, it’s that we shouldn’t hide our opulence: We should lean into it whenever we can. For me, who has zero dollars, that means strutting down the street listening to “Glamorous” by Fergie and pretending I’m Kylie Jenner. For Kylie Jenner, it means…well, being Kylie Jenner.

In March 2019, Forbes named Jenner the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, a title that caused some debate online. “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Jenner told Forbes upon receiving the honor. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”

Self-made or not, I’m not judging Jenner if she did brag a little bit about her money at the Met Gala. Hell, I’d do the same if I were her. In fact, I’d do the same if I just randomly found $5 in my pocket.

Apparently, Sex After 40 Is Worthy of International Tabloid News

“Melanie!” my friend messaged me, “the U.K. tabloids LOVE you!”

I first found out I’d become international tabloid news when this message along with a screen grab of an article from the Daily Mail popped up on my phone. The headline included a picture of me riding my bike and the word COUGAR. In all caps.

I immediately googled myself, my screen flooding with similar headlines next to grainy pictures of me taken from my Facebook page. The Sun, The Daily Star, The World News—over a dozen tabloids (so far) have picked up my most recent Glamour article pulling salacious quotes from the story I wrote about my sex life as a 41-year-old single woman. My personal favorite was the headline for The Mirror: “Cougar, 41, says sex life’s better than ever with ‘lonely cub’ tinder hook-ups.”

Earlier this month, I wrote about my dating life, which is apparently so shocking it’s newsworthy. As a woman in her 40s on Tinder, I quickly realized men my age, true to stereotype, weren’t interested. But after lowering my age minimum on the app, my inbox flooded with messages from twenty- and thirty-something men seemingly dying to date me. As I wrote about in my article, I have never had this much sex—let alone good sex—in my life. The international tabloid media apparently can’t handle this.

After discovering that my name would be associated with the word cougar (ALL CAPS) in any google search of me for all of eternity I felt a little violated (and slightly worried that all the press would ruin the hot streak currently tearing through my dating life…). One tabloid reached out to extend the courtesy of at least letting me choose the photos that would run with the article, rather than picking at random from my Facebook page, at the same time reassuring me they wouldn’t make me sound like a terrible person.

I know I’m not a terrible person! I know there’s nothing wrong with me or the relationships I share with other consenting adults, but apparently others think there is indeed something terrible about a woman in her 40’s having satisfying sex with men who think she’s amazing and treat her well. The fact this cougar story made headline news to begin with—in not just one but over a dozen tabloids in different countries—is what I find unbelievably disturbing. I knew the patriarchy is still alive and well, but I didn’t fully comprehend just how much our society hates aging women until my active and awesome sex life became a scandalous headline. Have none of these people ever seen The Graduate? Dating younger men isn’t new! Women have been doing it since the beginning of time.

The obsession with analyzing older women dating younger men is baffling—this isn’t National Geographic and women are not animals.

It sure seems as though society thinks we are, however. If we’re fat, we’re whales (or cows, depending on just how fat). If we’re assertive, we’re bitches. If we are any type of woman under age 35, we’re chicks. If we disagree with women, we’re catty. If we’re young and horny, we’re vixens. And if we’re horny, over 35 and prefer men who aren’t too damn tired to have sex now, we’re cougars. When society talks about women’s sex lives and our relationship statuses, they constantly rob us of our humanity and complexity and instead reduce us to a trait that has absolutely nothing to do with who we actually are, whether it’s our age, size, or sex drive.

Apparently Prince George Has a Nickname—and It's Not What You Would Expect

Prince George of Cambridge—you know, that adorable little 5-year-old royal who will likely one day be king—is a boy of many names, apparently. Of course, he literally has many names on his birth certificate: George Alexander Louis, to be exact. But he also reportedly revealed that he goes by another name that we never would have guessed.

The Daily Mail reports that a woman walking her dog casually happened upon the young prince and his sister Princess Charlotte while they were playing in a stream near their grandmother Carole Middleton’s home in Berkshire, England.

First, can you imagine going out for a leisurely stroll and seeing the heir to the throne and his little sister? Luckily, this unnamed woman kept her composure—and followed the directions of the royals’ protection officer to not snap any photos.

But she did strike up a convo with the little ones while George petted her dog. “Just to be friendly, I engaged in a bit of small talk, and I asked George what his name was, even though obviously I knew it,” she says. “To my astonishment, he said, ‘I’m called Archie,’ with a big smile on his face. I don’t know why he calls himself Archie, but kids often play with their names and I think it’s lovely.”

This revelation could mean a number of things. Maybe he’s been sneaking into the room while his parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, are bingeing Riverdale on Netflix (a hypothetical, of course). Perhaps George already has an alter ego, like the royal version of Beyonc´é’s Sasha Fierce. Or maybe, at age 5, he already knows how to brilliantly troll people—and the press. (I feel like maybe his Uncle Harry would be proud of that one.)

Needless to say, it seems we can now add Archie to the list of George’s names and nicknames which also include, per the Daily Mail: PG (which is what he’s called at school—and is likely short for Prince George, of course), “PG Tips” (a spin on the school nickname by his parents, which is is also a common brand of tea in the UK), and the shortened version, “Tips”.

No word on which one the Queen prefers, but we love that the little royal has already dubbed himself with an adorable nickname.
