Kris Jenner Just Revealed the Meaning Behind Khloé Kardashian's Baby Name


Khloé Kardashian revealed on Monday (April 16) the name of her baby girl, whom she welcome with Tristan Thompson last week: True. “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True,” Khloé wrote in an Instagram post. The name, naturally, caused a social media frenzy, with thousands of fans hypothesizing the meaning behind it.

And now we know. Khloé’s mother, Kris Jenner, also posted a congratulatory post to Instagram on Monday and revealed the story behind True’s name. Apparently, it runs in the family. “I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True,” Kris posted. Khloé gave birth to True last Thursday (April 12) in Cleveland, Ohio. Tristan is a forward for the Cavaliers, so Khloé’s been spending a lot of time in the city as a result. Of course, all this news is coming off the heels of both The Daily Mail and TMZ reporting Tristan allegedly cheated on Khloé last weekend in New York City. Those rumors, however, haven’t been confirmed or denied by the couple.

Reports that Khloé was expecting her first baby popped up in September 2017, and she confirmed them in December. “Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Cardi B Has Some Advice for Everyone Wrapped Up in Khloé Kardashian's Relationship Drama


On Thursday, April 12, Khloé Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl while she was surrounded by her family and boyfriend Tristan Thompson. The good news came just days after news surfaced that Thompson, a Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player, was spotted kissing another woman while he was out at New York City rooftop bar. The news went viral, and fans are finding creative ways to show their support. Cardi B, however, has a message for all the fans and haters out there who have been making the relationship drama their primary business.

The rapper, who just revealed her own pregnancy and dropped her debut album, made an appearance on a radio show this week. When the host asked for her thoughts on the rumors about Kardashian and Thompson, she dished out wisdom in her signature candid way.

“Do what your heart feel like doing,” Cardi B said. “At the end of the day, everybody wanna act like they date deacons and pastors and their relationship is perfect.”

Kim Kardashian Reveals That She Gave Khloé a Leg Up (Literally) in the Delivery Room


In case you were worried, rest assured that yes, Khloé Kardashian‘s sisters did make it to Cleveland in time for the birth of her daughter on Thursday. In fact, as older sister Kim Kardashian West revealed on Twitter early Friday morning, she actually played a crucial role in helping Khloé deliver her baby.

“I’m so happy for you! Your baby girl is so beautiful! You are so strong, you made that look so easy! I can’t wait for our baby girls to grow up as best friends the way we are!” Kim tweeted at her sister, referring to her own newborn daughter, Chicago, who arrived on January 15. “I’m so happy I was able to return the favor of holding your leg while you pushed LOL.” In a follow-up tweeted directed at her followers, Kim added, “You guys she’s so gorgeous!!!!!”

The rest of Khloé’s tight-knit family have also congratulated her on the birth of her first child. On Thursday, mom Kris Jenner retweeted a W magazine video in which daughter Kendall Jenner repeats the word “baby” over and over, adding, “BLESSED!!!” Also on Thursday, Khloé’s youngest sister Kylie Jenner posted a video on Snapchat while riding in the passenger seat of a car; a pink filter reading “Kongrats, Khloé! It’s a girl!” was overlaid on top of the video, while Cardi B and Chance the Rapper’s song “Best Life” plays in the background. And while Kourtney has yet to post a message explicitly about Khloé’s daughter, she did take to Instagram on Thursday, shortly after reports of Khloé’s delivery first broke, to post a photo of her daughter Penelope, Kim’s daughter North, and a friend with the caption “GIRL POWER.”

This afternoon, TMZ broke the news that Khloé Kardashian had given birth to her first child in a Cleveland hospital sometime around 4:00 A.M. According to the news outlet, her family—Kris Jenner and Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, specifically—were by her side. Khloé’s boyfriend and the child’s father, Tristan Thompson, who is currently at the center of a cheating scandal, was reportedly there too.

Since the news broke, many have wondered when Khloé or her family would confirm the happy news; they were tight-lipped about Kylie Jenner for so long, after all. But leave it to matriarch Kris to be the first of the bunch to break the silence—and by social media, no less.

Shortly after reports of Khloé giving birth surfaced, Kris re-posted a tweet by W that said, “When three of your sisters give birth in under a year. Congratulations to @KhloeKardashian on welcoming another girl to the KarJenner clan” with an emphatic caption: “BLESSED!!!”

Though Kris is the only Kardashian to publicly congratulate Khloé so far, she’s certainly far from the last person to take to Twitter to talk about the birth. Fans from all around the world have shared their well-wishes and reactions, like those below:

They’ve also been rallying around Khloé following reports of Tristan’s alleged infidelity. On Wednesday, several attended a Cleveland Cavaliers game, where they brought signs saying such things as “We love Khloé” and booed whenever he appeared on court.

Khloé Kardashian Reportedly Just Gave Birth to a Baby Girl


Welcome to the world, baby Khloé! Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson just welcomed their first child together—a baby girl—TMZ reported on Thursday, April 12. Us Weekly and People also confirmed the news. According to TMZ, Kardashian gave birth around 4:00 A.M. on Thursday morning in a hospital outside Cleveland and does not have a name yet for the child.

This birth comes just two days after the outlet claimed that Thompson cheated on Kardashian over the weekend. Neither has confirmed or denied the rumors, so it’s best to take them lightly for now. TMZ says he was at her side for the birth, along with Kourtney, Kim, Kris, and Khloé’s best friend, Malika.

Reports that Khloé was expecting first popped up last September, and she finally confirmed them in December via a lengthy Instagram post.

“My greatest dream realized, Khloé wrote. “We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient.
