Fans Think Adele Threw Jennifer Lawrence a Bachelorette Party, and It Looked So Fun

Prepare to get very jealous of all the people who happened to be having a fun Friday night out at a certain bar New York City—because their nights went next level, thanks to the arrival of Jennifer Lawrence and Adele. Cannot. Imagine.

But, according to multiple fan accounts, that’s exactly what happened last night (March 22) at Pieces, a gay bar in Greenwich Village. People are speculating that it might have been a bachelorette party to celebrate Lawrence’s recent engagement to Cooke Maroney. If ever there were a textbook case of FOMO, this is it. One person at the bar had all of our reactions (had, you know, we been there): “I’M AT PIECES AND ADELE AND JENNIFER LAWRENCE ARE HERE LMFAOO.”

Apparently, the duo (who famously hung out a while back with Emma Stone) were at the bar with a group of friends when Adele and Lawrence were called on stage by the evening’s emcee, drag queen Brita Filter. When asked what she does for a living, Adele joked that she’s “currently a stay-at-home mum.”

See for yourself below:

Another video shows Lawrence teasing Adele for losing a drinking game—and then, when the actress is asked to play, Adele teases, “She’s fucking engaged; she’s not even relevant to be here.” Lawrence proceeds to clap back with, “That has nothing to do with my drinking ability.”

“Randomly getting turnt with JeLaw and Adele. NBD,” another Pieces patron tweeted. “JENNIFER LAWRENCE AND ADELE WENT THERE TOGETHER, UGH FRIENDSHIP GOALS,” wrote another.

Even if it wasn’t a bachelorette party, it seems like Adele and Lawrence had a pretty incredible girls’ night out—we’ll just assume our invite got stuck in the spam folder.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's First Big Trip Abroad Sounds So Fun

Newlyweds Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will travel to Dublin next month, their first international trip together since their honeymoon. Kensington Palace confirmed on Tuesday (June 19) that the trip will take place on July 10 and 11 and that “this visit is at the request of Her Majesty’s Government.” Vanity Fair is reporting this trip will serve as a “mini-moon” of sorts for the couple.

“The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to learning more about Ireland’s history and experiencing its rich culture, as well as meeting the people who are shaping the country’s future,” Kensington Palace said in a statement. “Full details of the visit will be announced in due course.”

Even though Markle has only just joined the royal family officially, she’s no stranger to Ireland. The Duchess of Sussex visited Northern Ireland with Prince Harry recently with a trip to Belfast as a part of the couple’s tour of the U.K. in advance of their May 19 wedding. She also visited the country before Kensington Palace was even a part of her life: According to People, Markle traveled to Dublin to accept an award from Trinity College in 2013 and was even spotted expertly pouring a pint of Guinness on that trip.

Details of their visit have not yet been announced, but a trip to the Guinness Storehouse, which details the brewing process and history of Dublin’s most notorious beverage, is on the table, People reports.

Markle and Prince Harry will also travel to Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand later this year in their first royal tour as a married couple. Markle will also be joining her husband at the Invictus Games in Sydney, which take place from October 20 through 27, and the tour will likely take place near those dates. The 2018 Games will mark the fifth year of Prince Harry’s competitive sporting event for wounded veterans, but the first year he’ll be traveling to the event as a married man.

Taylor Swift Hilariously Makes Fun of Herself on These New 'Reputation' Magazine Covers

The theme of Taylor Swift’s new album, Reputation, is not subtle. It’s all about firing back at the rumors, scandals, and so-called “feuds” that plagued her for the past two years. A large portion of that is directed toward supermarket tabloids and gossip blogs, which routinely write untrue—and sometimes inflammatory—stories about Swift and her relationships. Swift’s covered this topic before—”Blank Space,” anyone?—but never this intensely…or this much. It’s a charged album, to put it gently.

And the materials she’s releasing with the album are equally as charged, albeit a little more tongue-in-cheek. Swift created two magazines that fans can snag exclusively at Target (when they buy Reputation on Friday) that seemingly mock the tabloids she confronts on her album. Each glossy features Swift’s face on the front, along with sensational, intentionally hyperbolic lines about her life that could easily be on the cover of any gossip magazine. “Taylor shocker! Taylor tells all her in shocking intro,” reads one line. “Handwritten lyrics reveal the truth,” reads another.

The intent here is clear: Swift’s trying to illustrate how ridiculous these articles can sometimes come across. And she’s trolling herself (and her cats), which is pretty hilarious. Of course, several pop stars have done this before (Britney Spears’ song “Piece of Me” is essentially a middle finger to Us Weekly), but Swift took things to another level by literally creating publications. It’s petty in the most delicious way possible.

“Forgot to show the back of the Target magazines. On Friday, you can get your hands on this quality reading material,”Swift tweeted, along with photos of the magazine covers. Check it out for yourself, below:

Reputation is slated to drop this Friday, November 10.

We Tried Those Lush Jelly Masks, and They're Fun As Hell

PHOTO: Instagram / @lushbirmingham

As a brand, it feels like Lush lives by the John Mayer mantra: “your body is a wonderland,” except it’s not just your body, it’s your bathroom at large. Because thanks to the brand, getting ready’s gotten more fun: Lush has given us bath bombs, basically explosions of joy and glitter; it’s given us flubber-y shower jellies to totally one-up the bathing process; and now, it’s taking that technology to face masks. The good news is, they’re incredible. The bad: you’ll need some serious willpower to stop fiddling with them and actually put them on. They’re like silly putty for adults.

If you haven’t been keeping up with everything landing at Sephora lately, everything’s coming up jelly. From Butter London’s bouncy Glazen Eye Glosses to Boscia’s Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser, we’re collectively obsessed with jiggly, jelly products that are as addictive to play with as they are to use. And why not? Anything that makes beauty more fun and playful is rarely a bad thing.

Coming back to Lush’s masks, it just comes down to picking your best fit, there are five in total from the new line. First up is Bunny Moon, a mild, soothing medley for sensitive skin. 1000 Millihelens contains anti-inflammatory green tea and witch hazel, which is great for anyone with acne-prone skin. FOMO features a redness-reducing blend of calamine and rose, while Birth of Venus has a smoothing combo of kaolin clay and sea water that’s great for moisturizing oily skin. And lastly, there’s Just to Clarify, a brightening mask with scrubby bamboo bits and exfoliating papaya juice. Obviously, the names are amazing.

As a mask enthusiast eager to experience every single one, as soon as I got my hands on the jellies I whisked them home and did an “all of you get on my face” situation. Using the jellies is at first a little bizarre: you shake the blob out of its recycled plastic carton, pinch off a bit and work it between your dry hands, then smear the resulting paste across your face. Pro tip: keep them in the fridge to help them slide out easily. I really had to dig the jelly out, and it hurt my heart to maul it like that (still super fun, though).

For the full experience, I slathered Bunny Moon on the left side of my face eyes-down, FOMO (fittingly) on my right, and Just to Clarify across my forehead, because who doesn’t love a bright forehead? Ten minutes later, I washed all three off, and, to be honest, I didn’t notice an immediately significant difference. But these guys are a waiting game, because this morning I woke up to crazy-soft, velvety smooth skin, especially on the FOMO side.

Each jelly mask goes for $13.95, which would be reasonable in mask-land by itself. Add in that literally a pinch off the blob is all it takes for a full face go, and these should last you about six masks. But, with the brand’s rep for fresh-made products, that means you’ll have to use it quickly—given the lack of preservatives, you’re typically supposed to toss Lush products on their expiration date or else they’ll go bad.

Luckily, Lush says that the very agar (i.e. jelly-like) ingredient that gives the masks their texture keeps them fresh in the fridge for 20 days, so you’re good to go for about a month of weekly masks. They’ll be available on Friday, September 1, on Lush’s website and in its North American stores, alongside the upcoming bath bomb that literally turns your bath into jelly. I never thought the day would come when I’d want to bathe in Jell-O, but Lush has sold the lifestyle.
