Peter Weber Explains Why He Reached Out to Hannah Brown While Engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss

Peter Weber has finally explained the Hannah Brown bombshell that Hannah Ann Sluss dropped during the After the Final Rose special of The Bachelor earlier this year.

To briefly recap, Sluss was rightfully upset that Weber proposed to her during the Bachelor finale without being honest about his remaining feelings for Madison Prewett. But this wasn’t the only woman still on his mind: On After the Final Rose, Sluss revealed, “I should have really picked up on the first red flag that you gave to me when you wanted to reach out to Hannah Brown to find closure with her [during our engagement]. So really, looking back on it, our engagement involved three women: me, you still being in love with Madison and proposing to me, and needing closure with Hannah Brown.”

Weber has since spoken at length about his feelings for Prewett, who he broke up with just three days after the same live show. But we’ve never heard the full story about the whole Hannah Brown situation until now.

During his recent interview on Bachelor Nation alum Nick Viall’s podcast The Viall Files, Weber explained that he and Hannah Brown ran out of time to discuss their issues when she first appeared on his season. Then, the two of them were both sent the first episode before it aired (when he was engaged to Sluss), which brought everything back to the surface. He also claims that Brown reached out to him first.

“One day I saw that [Hannah Brown] DM’d me on Instagram—I didn’t have her number at that point,” Weber said. “She was being really honest and open and wondering if I had seen the episodes yet. She was kinda struggling with it, it was tough to watch.”

This all happened when Weber was with Sluss, watching the series together. “I saw this message and [Hannah Ann and I] were on a ‘Happy Couple’ weekend, and we were watching the episodes together, and I told her that Hannah Brown had reached out, that it could be good for both of us to get some closure,” he said. “To be completely honest, the way that whole conversation ended [with Hannah Brown on The Bachelor] wasn’t very definite. I was so confused in that moment.”

That’s when he asked Sluss if he could chat with his ex…again. “She was, obviously, a little hesitant,” Weber said, “And that’s why I wanted to be transparent about her with everything. Ultimately, she gave me the okay and Hannah Brown and I discussed things.”

Well, I guess that’s that on that. Weird to think Kelley Flanagan, the only woman left out of Sluss’s speech, is the one Peter Weber is quarantining with now. But I’m not surprised that Brown, Sluss, and Prewett have moved right along.

Prince Harry's Close Friend Explains Why He and Meghan Markle Stepped Down

Hopefully Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and baby Archie are settling into their new North American life nicely after stepping down as senior members of the royal family. While we still don’t know exactly what their post-palace life will look like—Markle is reportedly looking for a new agent or manager—we are getting new insight into all that led to their big decision.

The prince’s longtime friend, polo star Nacho Figueras, spoke out about Harry in a new ABC special, Royal Divide: Harry, Meghan and The Crown. He offered more insight as to why the duke and duchess stepped down as senior royals. “I spoke to Harry a few days ago,” he said. “He has suffered a lot from all of the things that have happened to him. He wants to live a normal life, as normal as his life is going to be, right? Because when you have a thousand paparazzi outside your house in Canada waiting to get a picture of your son that’s not very normal.”

Figueras hinted at the struggles Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, had with the press—including their possible culpability in the Paris car accident that took her life. “He’s protecting his family, he’s protecting his wife and his child,” he said. “He was a son of someone that has suffered the attack from the press firsthand, and it’s undeniable, and he doesn’t want for that to happen to his family.”

That certainly tracks with what we heard from Prince Harry himself in a speech he gave before leaving England to reunite with Markle and Archie in Canada. “The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges,” he said. “I’ve accepted this knowing it doesn’t change who I am or how committed I am, but I hope it helps you understand what it had come to, that I would step my family back from all I have ever known to take a step forward into what I hope can be a more peaceful life.”

What Does An Orgasm Feel Like? A Neuroscientist Explains

For all the time our society spends talking about sex, many women are still asking themselves this question: What does an orgasm feel like?

As a certified sex therapist turned neuroscientist, I get asked about orgasms a lot. In my new column for Glamour, I’m here to address your pressing questions about sex, love, and pleasure. With over three decades of experience studying the science of pleasure, I can say without a doubt that the ability to experience potent and satisfying pleasures like orgasm isn’t a luxury—female pleasure is a necessity for our health and wellbeing (something I talk about in much more detail in my new book Why Good Sex Matters out later this month).

The female orgasm is a fantastic thing: it can be triggered by stimulating the clitoris, vagina, nipples, cervix, or an out-of-this-world combination of all of the above. Here what you need to know about what an orgasm feels like, and how to prioritize having more of them.

For starters, what is an orgasm?

Although there’ve been many attempts to define and describe the elusive experience of the “big O,” my favorite, and simplest of all, was coined by Charles Kinsey, a pioneer in the study of human sexuality. In scientist speak, he nailed it: “The expulsive discharge of neuromuscular tensions at the peak of the sexual response.”

Here’s how that breaks down: “Neuro” refers to the nerves of the body and neurons of the brain, “muscular” refers to muscles, and explosive discharge, well, speaks for itself. An orgasm is an intensely pleasurable response to sexual stimulation.

Having one doesn’t necessarily involve the genitals. Case in point: “nipplegasms.” There are even some talented individuals who appear able to experience a “thought” or “imagery”-induced orgasm, without any physical stimulation at all. Lucky them.

My research has demonstrated that the “big O “is indeed a “big brain” event, increasing blood flow to a range of brain regions, which is good for brain health. In fact, having an orgasm may be better for your brain than doing crossword puzzles—not to mention, much more fun.

What should an orgasm feel like?

A study done back in the 1970s asked male and female college students to describe how their orgasms felt. Most of the descriptions involved a pleasurable release of built-up tensions, experienced as an explosion of sensation, sometimes bordering on the ecstatic, and finally a wave of warmth, peace, and relaxation.

The truth is, orgasms exist on a spectrum: There are orgasms, and then there are ORGASMS! Some are pleasant, but not earth-shattering, and others are screaming-laughing-crying episodes of pure ecstasy. Both are important and valid.

I tend to discourage people from “shoulding” on themselves or their experiences. When we evaluate how things should feel or how they should be, we take ourselves away from the experience. My book, Why Good Sex Matters is not entitled Why Great Sex Matters for an important reason; when we start evaluating our erotic lives, chasing and seeking great sex or super or multiple orgasms, we miss the point, likely sabotaging our own capacity for pleasure. Good sex involves being present to the experience we are having. And a good orgasm is any orgasm that comes along.

What is the difference between the female orgasm and the male orgasm?

One big difference is that males have a refractory period after orgasm, which shuts down the sex party, at least for a while. Females are not wired that way—women are capable of experiencing multiple orgasms during sexual activity. In a recent study using a nationally representative sample of 1005 women, a whopping 47% of women reported having multiple orgasms.

Victoria Pedretti Explains That Wild Plot Twist in You Season 2

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, my mind was blow when I found out Love killed Candace.

Ambyr [Childers, who plays Candace] is so great. Her character is so incredible. Her performance is so great in the show, as one of the only sane people who’s really fighting for some form of justice. [Love] doesn’t really always understand her methods, but she’s trying to protect people from this person who wronged her when she doesn’t really need to. She could just stay in Italy and be safe. But I think we know that when something bad happens and we’re scared it could affect other people, there’s this courage that can come out of it.

I thought it was a badass feminist move for Candace to advocate for getting people to stay away from Joe.

I’m definitely a woman who believes in sisterhood and the important place that women supporting other women plays in the whole movement towards equality. It’s incredible how in making up around 50% of the population, we are an oppressed majority. That has only been possible by us working against each other. That’s because of the structures that be and whatnot. [But we’re] reminding [people] that Joe is benefiting not only from the way in which we are programmed, but also by other people who protect him.

What do you hope viewers take away from the second season?

I think it’s a mix of things. I think it’s important to focus on how our instincts can’t always show us everything, that it’s important to be careful about the interactions we have and the people we interact with. And at the same time, there’s so much beauty in taking risks and having trust. I hope we don’t walk around just scared of each other because of this show. I think there’s different things for everyone. Everyone’s going to relate to it differently and take something else away from it. I hate to tell people what to think.

Would you be down for a third season?

Yeah!

Do you have any dreams for how it would go, or are you open to anything?

No. I think I learned pretty early on that I can’t predict shit with this show, so I’m ready to be blown away.

You season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.

This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.

Tyler Cameron Finally Admits He Dated Gigi Hadid—and Explains Why They Broke Up

Even after multiple sightings (that included an overseas trip for a funeral), The Bachelorette‘s Tyler Cameron never actually confirmed he was dating Gigi Hadid—until now.

In a new interview with People, the reality star opens up about his relationship and breakup with the supermodel. “We’re just friends,” he said of their current status. But it sounds like he has no regrets. “Just meeting someone that was great. She’s a great person, and I met a great friend,” Cameron said when asked about the best parts of the relationship. “She’s someone that I have a lot of respect for and think highly of, so I met a great person.”

And the breakup sounds very amicable too. “I took it as I met a great person, a great friend. It wasn’t like a bad breakup or anything like that,” he said. “It was just, we’re at different parts of our lives right now.”

Watch Cameron explain this for yourself, below. Start around the 8:10 mark:

The pair was first spotted together back in August, hanging out at the Brooklyn outpost of the celebrity-favorite Soho House. Bowling dates, an upstate road trip, and dinner with Serena Williams soon followed. Cameron even accompanied Hadid to her grandmother’s funeral services in the Netherlands.

“Although Gigi and Tyler are spending more and more time together, they are still casually dating,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in August. “The two are enjoying building a friendship first, going on dates, and having fun. Nothing more than that right now.”

By October, however, Us Weekly was reporting that the relationship was over after just two months. “Tyler is single,” a source told the magazine. “He and Gigi Hadid are no longer together.”

Cameron says he’d date in the public eye again, though. “I’m still learning so much about myself every day. Being in this light is totally different, so I’m still learning,” he told People. “I’m open to dating anybody, public eye or not, just in the right time.””

Emilia Clarke Explains Why She Turned Down Fifty Shades of Grey

Emilia Clarke became a household name playing Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons on Game of Thrones.

But she almost added another name to her resumé: Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey. During a roundtable actress discussion with the Hollywood Reporter, Clarke revealed the reason why she turned down the role that eventually went to Dakota Johnson—and it may be surprising to some.

“Well, Sam [Taylor-Johnson, the director] is a magician. I love her, and I thought her vision was beautiful. But the last time that I was naked on camera on [Game of Thrones] was a long time ago, and yet it is the only question that I ever get asked because I am a woman,” she explained. “And it’s annoying as hell, and I’m sick and tired of it because I did it for the character—I didn’t do it so some guy could check out my tits, for God’s sake. So, that coming up, I was like, ‘I can’t.'”

“I did a minimal amount, and I’m pigeonholed for life, so me saying yes to that, where the entire thing is about sensuality and sex and being naked and all of that stuff, I was just like, “No way am I going to voluntarily walk into that situation and then never be able to look someone in the eye and be like, ‘No, you can’t keep asking me this question.'”

Another reason behind her decision is not wanting to be tied down to one project for too long, which is understandable given her multi-year commitment to Game of Thrones. “One thing I would not like to do is something that would have a sequel,” she said “Something that could have, like, ‘And then two and then three and then four.’ I’d like to not do one of those for a minute.”

Whatever project Clarke chooses next, we can’t wait to see it.
