People Are Swooning Over These Pics 'Riverdale' Actor Cole Sprouse Apparently Took of Lili Reinhart


We’ve evolved from humans who want partners with enough aim to bring down a sabertooth tiger to those who simply want Instagram husbands—real or honorary, and not necessarily men—to snap a picture that makes us look incredible. It’s really not too much to ask: point and click. And filter. And edit. (Like, a little easier on the contrast, maybe?) One so-called “Instagram boyfriend” (quotes because it’s not confirmed!) who seems to have it down is Riverdale‘s own Cole Sprouse, who is apparently taking beautiful photographs of co-star Lili Reinhart. People think that a slew of photos the two have posted are Sprouse originals, and there’s plenty of evidence that points to it.

The photos shared from Reinhart’s account have Sprouse tagged in them, which is why people think he took them—though that hasn’t been explicitly verified. Still, we’ll just admire them as the works of portrait art that they are, whether they’re in arty black and white or (faux?) candid shots of Reinhart checking her appearance in the mirror.

Sprouse also shared one of his own pics of her, in which she looks like an actual Renaissance angel:

Should these indeed be his, Sprouse is clearly talented at photography—and it seems rather likely these are his: last week, he posted a cover of L’Uomo Vogue that has his work on the cover—and in a beautiful spread featuring Sam Smith (that’s right; this 25-year-old prodigy is landing Vogue covers). Also, his Instagram feed is basically an online art gallery of his other photos.

Not too shabby, Sprouse—we can’t wait to see what other work you create. Between his beind-the-camera talents and Reinhart’s Halloween makeup skills, we are low-key excited for any seasonal photoshoots that may or may not take place in the coming weeks.

Lili Reinhart Says Filming Kissing Scenes With Cole Sprouse Is 'Comfortable'


Riverdale co-stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are keeping their off-screen relationship hush-hush, but what they do on screen is more than public knowledge. Their characters, Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones, are an item on Riverdale, and show-runners have been hinting for months that trouble’s ahead for them. For now, though, they’re still pretty lovey-dovey. Granted, they haven’t turned the heat up quite like Archie and Veronica have (um, that shower scene?), but they do kiss on the show—often. And two weeks ago Betty implied to her mother she and Jughead almost had sex, so it’s safe to say there’s still a ton of passion between them.

That passion, according to Reinhart, isn’t uncomfortable to shoot, either. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the young actress reveals the Riverdale core four have no qualms about kissing each other on screen.

“I think we’re all so comfortable with one another that it’s not even really a thing,” she said. “If we have a kissing scene, it’s fine. We don’t really think twice about it. When new characters have to kiss, it’s a little different and you’re like, ‘Oh, OK! What this?’ But it’s easy, we’re all friends. It would be more nerve-wracking if you had to make out with someone that you didn’t know. So if by chance we do end up having to kiss each other, it’s fine and it doesn’t feel weird.”

Notice how Reinhart strategically says the word “friends.” She makes no indication that she and Sprouse are more than that. When asked about him, all Reinhart said was, “We get along quite well. We’re doing good.” Ugh, all these evasive responses.

Of course, Reinhart doesn’t have to say anything about her relationship with Sprouse, but all this kissing talk will definitely drive their fans nuts. At this rate, we may never know what’s happening between. Hey, at least we’ll always have Bughead.

A 'Riverdale' Cast Member Just Said He 'Really Likes Cole and Lili Together'


Riverdale returning last week reminded the world of two things: 1) Betty and Jughead are the cutest, and 2) They’d be even cuter if their IRL counterparts, Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse, were also dating off-screen. That latter question has been floating around the Riverdale universe for nearly a year. People are convinced Reinhart and Sprouse are an item, even though neither has confirmed it.

The proof is out there, though. For one, there’s the time they were caught holding hands at San Diego Comic-Con—and then they did it again on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Toss in a few sweet social media posts and this maybe-snuggle on The Tonight Show, and you have a celebrity relationship mystery for the ages.

And the plot just thickened thanks to Skeet Ulrich, who plays Jughead’s dad (F.P. Jones) on Riverdale. In a new interview with Access Hollywood, the actor accidentally let it slip that he “likes” Reinhart and Sprouse “together.”

When asked who his favorite Riverdale on-screen ships are, Ulrich said, “I really like Cole and Lili together—Betty and Jughead—I think there’s a lot of positive qualities about them together for sure.” Watch his interview for yourself, below:

Granted, Ulrich is most likely talking about Rienhart and Sprouse in the context of the show; that is, after all, what he was asked. But the fact he felt the need to clarify his statement by saying “Betty and Jughead” is suspicious. It’s almost as if he feared people would think he was talking about Reinhart and Sprouse off-screen if he didn’t say the characters’ names. And if that thought did cross his mind, isn’t this a sign something might be going on between C and L?

This Reinhart-Sprouse Instagram fan page certainly thinks so. The account’s runner posted Ulrich’s interview on Tuesday and captioned it, “Skeet nearly exposed himself for shipping both Sprousehart and Bughead.”

Of course, Reinhart and Sprouse never have to confirm their relationship—or lack thereof—to anyone; their personal life is completely their business. Riverdale fans have just as much fun (playfully) obsessing over interviews like this as they do fan theories.

Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse Shared a Cute Moment on 'The Tonight Show'


Rumors have been swirling for a while now that Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are dating IRL. The evidence to support this theory is thin, but it certainly exists. There was the time the two were caught holding hands during a Comic-Con interview. Plus, they’ve each written gushy posts about the other on social media, and the non-response response Sprouse gave a few weeks ago about the rumor added even more fuel to the fire. Of course, we won’t know anything for sure until Sprouse and Reinhart confirm (or deny) themselves, but that’s not stopping fans from psychoanalyzing their interactions like detectives.

And the latest moment between Reinhart and Sprouse has fans particularly hot and bothered. It happened last night on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Sprouse and Reinhart were noticeably kept apart during the entire taping. They didn’t sit next to each other during the cast interview—which also featured KJ Apa, Camila Mendes, and Madelaine Petsch—or during any of the activities Fallon had them do.

However, a fan account caught the two of them having a slight—and we mean slight—interaction. After the cast finished playing a round of Fallon’s game “Search Party,” which is essentially Family Feud, it looks like Sprouse walks over and embraces Reinhart—but it cuts to commercial before we get visual confirmation. Notice Reinhart’s body language, though; she arches her body back in Sprouse’s direction, as if she’s anticipating the embrace. Check it out for yourself, below:

Ugh, why did the commercial have to come at that exact moment? Had the camera stayed on them for literally two more seconds, we’d be able to put this rumor to rest once and for all.

But, honestly, it’ll be a bummer if or when that time comes. At this point, playfully obsessing over Reinhart and Sprouse’s relationship is half the fun of being a Riverdale fan.

Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse Were Spotted Low-Key Holding Hands…Again


Lately, every time I think about Riverdale my mind goes specifically to Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse. Are they dating? Are they just gas-lighting America? If they are an item, does Reinhart approve of the ridiculous shirts Sprouse wears on the reg? Do they hang out at Dylan Sprouse’s meadery in Brooklyn and talk about fan theories? These are the thoughts that run through my head on a daily basis.

The twosome, who play Betty and Jughead on the show, haven’t confirmed or denied their relationship. Sprouse said some vague nonsense about how the rumors he and Reinhart are dating are “very pleasing,” but that’s the only thing on record. Everything else is just speculation. There’s the time Reinhart wrote a gushy birthday message to Sprouse in August, and who can forget when they secretly held hands during a Comic-Con interview? They’re toying with our emotions.

The teasing continues with the Riverdale cast’s new Entertainment Weekly cover. It features Sprouse, Reinhart, KJ Apa (Archie), and Camila Mendes (Veronica). At first, it just looks like your standard “hot new TV cast” photo, but take a closer look at Reinhart and Sprouse’s hand placement at the far right.

Do you see it ? Their hands are touching! OK, so they’re barely touching. It’s actually more of a “single-finger embrace,” but still! There’s absolutely some caressing happening here—and I’m freaking out.

It’s possible their finger placement is just a coincidence, but these four know how the Riverdale fanbase is. They’re going to take this (very thin) interaction as a sign Reinhart and Sprouse are dating. Full fan theories will pop up on Reddit based on this photo alone.

Of course, Reinhart and Sprouse never have to confirm their relationship—and, TBH, I kinda hope they never do. Obsessing over these tiny, ridiculous clues is just too much fun.

Cole Sprouse Just Broke His Silence on Those Lili Reinhart Dating Rumors


The second season of Riverdale premieres in just a few weeks, and fans are buzzing with excitement. Specifically, there are three things they need to know ASAP: 1) Who killed Archie’s father? 2) What is going on with Cheryl’s mother? and 3) For the love of God, are Cole Sprouse (Jughead) and Lili Reinhart (Betty) dating?

Rumors that Sprouse and Reinhart are in a relationship started circulating over the summer, but nothing’s been confirmed yet. There have been hints, though: Reinhart’s Instagram post about Sprouse for his birthday was very lovey-dovey, and, oh yeah, they secretly held hands during a Comic-Con interview. The signs are totally there, but neither of them have said anything, officially, about it.

Well, until now. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sprouse broke his silence on whether or not he and Reinhart are an item off-screen, too. (Their characters are in a relationship on the show.)

“Since the show began, people have wanted Lili and I to be together. People have wanted Lili and Camila to be together. People have wanted KJ and I to be together. People have wanted every actor on this show to be in a union that they could make real,” he said, according to Just Jared. “But truthfully, it’s very pleasing that people talk about Lili and I in that way because it means that we’re resonating so strongly that people really want that to be true.”

These quotes are vague, but Sprouse isn’t denying anything. If the rumors were complete rubbish, you’d think he would just set the record straight, but instead he’s adding fuel to the fire.

Granted, Sprouse and Reinhart don’t have to talk about their relationship at all; their personal lives, truthfully, are none of our business. However, if they never confirm their relationship, we have one request for the Riverdale writers: Let Bughead live, please. We need something!
