'The Bachelor' Fans Are Overwhelmingly Team Madi Over Peter Regarding Their New Instagram Beef

Okay, so it took a while to get here, but it’s happening: The Bachelor stars Peter Weber and Madison Prewett are fighting online.

It all started on April 21, when Prewett gave an interview about her breakup with Weber, and also the Kelley Flanagan drama, via Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast. Prewett specifically alleged that Weber had asked her to get back together just two days before he was photographed with Flanagan.

“He was, like, calling me and texting me being like, ‘I miss you, let’s get back together,’” Prewett said, according to Us Weekly. “I mean, I think that to me was a little confusing, but I think, like, when you break up and you’re going through a heartbreak and you just came off a show that was emotionally, physically and [every] which way exhausting, everybody handles that differently. Everybody leans on different things.”

Prewett also said she was “thrown off” by Flanagan’s coupling up with Weber because the two women were apparently close during filming. “We were best friends, actually. We were inseparable throughout the entire process,” she said. “I was definitely hurt and thrown off by that whole situation. I want the best for the both of them, but I definitely was thrown off.”

Shortly after this, Weber took to the Instagram account @Bachelornation.Scoop to air his grievances with Prewett. “You’d think you’d have a little more respect for this situation given we both know there’s more to the story,” he wrote, tagging his ex.

So what is the truth? @Bachelormation.Scoop decided to pose the question to its over 92,000 followers. Who is being honest here: Weber or Prewett?

Let’s just say the comments, so far, are overwhelmingly Team Madi. “Team Madi all the way,” one user wrote. “She said the same things he said in his previous podcasts except he had conveniently left out some details that made him look bad.”

Another fan wrote, “In my humble opinion, I don’t think Peter is ready for a serious relationship. Nice guy, not ready for a commitment. Peter likes being free to fly.”

A third fan noted that we all have a Weber in our dating history. “Pilot Pete just doesn’t like to be alone,” they said. “Haven’t we all had one of those in our lives before? Won’t commit, but will try to get attention any way possible when nobody is paying attention to him. Hence texting Madi wanting her to site on him, then turning around and going for Kelley because she’s there.”

Though most of the comments I encountered, both on Twitter and this Bachelor account, are in Prewett’s favor, there are some Pro Pilot Pete stans around. “Never liked Madi,” one user wrote, simply. Ouch.

Then, of course, some just want the whole thing to be over. “Lol they’re both children I can’t even be bothered,” one fan admitted. “Still wishing that [Mike Johnson] was the Bachelor.” Now that’s something I would still like to see!

Who Is 'The Bachelor' Season 24?

Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette isn’t even over yet, but people are already betting on who the Bachelor will be next year. Not that we blame them. I mean, Brown has left us with some pretty fantastic contenders.

There’s Mike Johnson, an obvious front-runner, who would make history as the franchise’s first black and veteran Bachelor. There’s also Peter Weber, whose breakup with Brown on last night’s episode made even the most cynical Bachelor viewers tear up. And don’t forget about Tyler Cameron, who, yes, is still competing for Brown’s heart, but if he loses tonight will surely become a top choice.

Below, we’ve compiled a complete breakdown of all the men who could reasonably become the next Bachelor after Hannah Brown gives out her final rose. Read on to impress your friends when this question inevitably comes up at your viewing party tonight.

John Fleenor/Getty/ABC

The chances of Johnson suiting up for The Bachelor are incredibly high. Not only is social media clamoring for it, but several of his fellow contestants are too. “I’m really hoping Mike’s the next Bachelor because I think he wears his heart on his sleeve,” Dylan Barbour, who appeared on Brown’s season and is slated to go on Bachelor in Paradise later this summer, tells Glamour. “Based off the first impression, I was really intimidated by Mike. But after talking to him, he’s a great guy, he’s a real teddy bear, and he’s also strong at the same time. He’s intelligent and really in tune with himself, so I hope he’s able to have the opportunity to find love.”

Adds John Paul Jones, another Bachelor contender: “I think it would be pretty cool to see Mike Johnson as the next Bachelor. I think he’s definitely a fan favorite, and there’s never been an African American Bachelor, so that would be interesting to watch.”

As for how Johnson feels about the job, he tells Glamour, “The hesitation is because I don’t do it for…to be the first veteran Bachelor. I would do it because I feel the 30 potential suitors are there for the right reasons. I know that in Bachelor and Bachelorette, love can happen in this process. I just want to make sure the 30 suitors are there for the right reasons as well.”

Hulu's 'Can I Steal You For a Second? The Ringer’s Guide to Colton’s Season' Review: This 'The Bachelor' Special Will Shock Even the Biggest Superfan

To say I was unhappy about this season of The Bachelor ending would be an understatement. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that Colton Underwood has found love with Cassie Randolph (and potentially lost his V-card), but I’ve gone into full panic mode over what I’m supposed to do with my Monday nights for the next two months. (The Bachelorette premieres May 13, but who’s counting?)

So I started scrolling through Hulu the other night to see if I could find something to fill my Bachelor void, and let me tell you, I struck gold. Can I Steal You For a Second? The Ringer’s Guide to Colton’s Season—starring former Bachelor Ben Higgins, former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay, The Ringer’s Juliet Litman, and E!’s Lauren Zima—is a hilarious one-off special that recaps the latest season while providing some juicy behind-the-scenes info about the show.

Let’s recap what I learned, shall we?

“I think it’s more like, ‘Enjoy it,’” Rachel revealed of the advice she received before kicking off season 13 of The Bachelorette. “Everybody’s nervous. It’s the first time, you know, for some people, you’re ever on camera. For the lead it’s the first time you’re holding this role. You don’t get any direction.”

Ben agrees: “Zero direction. Chris [Harrison] is standing there like, ‘All right, here you go’ and the limo pulls up. No coaching, no direction.”

This worked for Rachel when she competed on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor. “I was like, ‘No, I sweat easily. Like, I can’t. I’ve got to be the first one out to meet Nick.’ They were like, ‘OK,’” she recalls.

“I think it’s a big misconception that we know about all the drama that’s going on in the house,” Rachel said. “They truly do separate us, and the only time we know that there is drama is if you just happen to hear it in the house, like if someone is yelling like crazy, or if someone comes and tattles on the next person.”

Ben added, “When somebody does come to you with, ‘Oh, these people aren’t here for the right reasons’ or ‘This person’s mean and they’re fighting in the house,’ it’s good for us because it gives us information that we wouldn’t have and it allows us to make a fair judgement when it comes to rose ceremonies.”

Getty Images

“I would go with general terms like, ‘Hey boo, hey you, hey there,’” Rachel admitted, confirming that it wasn’t until midway through her season of The Bachelorette that the names fully started to register for her. Ben, however, took a more strategic approach to remembering names when he was the Bachelor: “I did word associations. So when somebody would come up out of the limo and say, ‘Hi, I’m Rachel and I like sports,’ I would, in my head, come up with a little song.”

Ben admitted that during his first one-on-one date with Lauren Bushnell, they filmed in a hot tub that was completely cold. “It was cold because there was no electricity,” he confirmed. “So it was just like, cold water that you’re sitting in and acting like it’s hot.”

Ben revealed that when he was on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette, he was never told if he was the first, second, or third person that she had a fantasy suite date with. “I didn’t know what order I went and I didn’t care,” he said. I don’t think I’d want to know.”

Sexual Assault Survivors on 'The Bachelor' Sharing Caelynn Miller-Keyes' Story

The following article, based on this week’s episode of The Bachelor, could be triggering for anyone who’s experienced sexual assault. If you or someone you know need help, call RAINN’s hotline at 800-656-HOPE (4673).

On the surface, the fourth episode of Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor was entirely typical. There were two romantic one-on-one dates, a chaotic group date, a trip to a stunning location, and the usual “villain” drama. That all shifted, though, when contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes opened up to Colton about being sexually assaulted in college. This was different from anything we’ve seen from the franchise before, and The Bachelor got this #MeToo moment right.

During her date with Colton, Caelynn shared every painful detail of her story as she described being drugged and assaulted at a party during her sophomore year of college. “I woke up the next morning completely naked in my bed and had no memory of the night before,” she says. “I had a small vision of a guy in my bed, and I just had this pit in my stomach that something really bad happened last night.” Caelynn says she later learned through a friend what had happened, and that another student allegedly lifted her skirt and took Snapchat photos. “It was horrible,” she says. Her assailant, she says, was expelled from school but faced no other charges.

Caelynn explained that she tried to get a rape kit but said she was turned away from the first hospital she visited. “The reporting process is a lot more difficult than people realize. I had no idea what to do,” she told People in a later interview. “I was completely stranded, I was completely alone. I didn’t even think it was possible to be turned away from a hospital. Thankfully, I had a good support system and people went to a second hospital with me and I was able to get a rape kit and speak to authorities and go through that process. But it’s a lot more difficult than it seems.” (In addition to Caelynn’s experience, there’s a noted backlog of untested rape kits across the country, which interferes with prosecuting perpetrators of rape and assault.)

Caelynn’s story matters for a lot of reasons—but in the context of The Bachelor, it hopefully marks a turning point for how the franchise will address issues of sexual assault going forward. After all, this show doesn’t have the best track record. In 2017 the spinoff series Bachelor in Paradise was steeped in controversy when a producer brought forward sexual assault allegations regarding two contestants, Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson. Much of the public discourse surrounding Olympios was full of slut-shaming, and while the series did attempt to clear the air with a televised conversation about consent led by host Chris Harrison, the entire situation left a bad taste in many viewers’ mouths.

Last year news broke that The Bachelorette contestant Lincoln Adim had been convicted of indecent assault and battery. Warner Bros., the studio behind the franchise, issued a statement saying the production was unaware of the charges when he was cast. But the show never addressed the controversy; Adim was excluded from the “Men Tell All” special.

But Monday’s episode was poignant for many viewers, especially those who are sexual assault survivors—and there are likely many of them. According to RAINN, one out of every six American women (and three percent of men) have been the victims of an attempted or completed rape. What’s more, the vast majority of sexual assaults go unreported; out of every 1,000 sexual assaults, only 230 are ever reported to the police.

Anna, 25, a sexual assault survivor who asked Glamour to withhold her name for privacy reasons, said she “couldn’t breathe” while watching Caelynn tell her story. Like the Bachelor contestant, Anna woke up after a party with no memory of the previous night’s events but later had flashbacks of being assaulted by a coworker. “I never got a rape kit done, and I still have no solid conclusion as to what happened that night,” she says. “I fell into a deep depression for a couple years, but I’ve been able to slowly come out of it more recently.”

On 'The Bachelor,' A Woman Over 27 Is Considered a 'Cougar'

Last night on The Bachelor, the contestants were asked to write a short story about a “first time” in their life. After a few tales about college high jinks and first-impression roses, one woman, Elyse, stood up and revealed that Colton Underwood, at 26, is the first younger guy she’s dated. Her competitor Demi called this act “so brave.” Later, as Colton and Elyse discussed their age difference, she told him the contestants over 27 had bunked together and dubbed their room the “cougar den.” Colton gave Elyse the group date rose, praising her for opening up and being so “vulnerable.”

Elyse is 31.

Thirty-one! As I pointed out in my recap last night, that is still much younger than last year’s then 36-year-old Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. It’s younger than both times Brad Womack was the lead, first at 35 then at 38. And definitely younger than the oldest Bachelor in the show’s history: season six’s Byron Velvick, who was 40 at the time. The average age of the Bachelor is 31. The same age as Elyse.

Wanna know the age of the oldest Bachelorette? I mean, no, but I’ll tell you anyway: 32. (That honor goes to Rachel Lindsay.) The median age for the Bachelorette is 27.

Her delivery was off, but maybe Demi was right after all when she snipes, “There’s no advantage to being an older woman here.”

Women (and even some men) on social media agree: The Bachelor has an ageism problem. “The fact that being in your upper twenties qualifies you in the cougar den in Colton’s season is very concerning,” one woman wrote. “Like I haven’t even accepted the fact that I’m an adult and now I have to accept that I’m a cougar?”

Another joked, “Colton is giving Elyse the rose because she was ‘brave’ and ‘vulnerable.’ She admitted she was over 30.”

Some took the “cougar den” in stride, like this user who tweeted, “Apparently on #thebachelor they designated a room for 27+ women called the “cougar den”…WELCOME TO THE DEN BITCHES. WELCOME TO BEING AWESOME AND KNOWING WHAT WE WANT.”

While others directed their jokes (and probably a little anger) at Demi, who was the main instigator of the older-versus-younger women debate. “I will show up to every birthday every year for the rest of Demi’s life to remind her she just got a year older,” one person wrote. “Don’t doubt me, I’ve got time.”

The Demi jokes are good and fun, but let’s not skim over the fact that she’s part of a wider problem. The Bachelor and The Bachelorette has a storied history of casting mostly early-twenties women for their 30-something Bachelor, and vice versa. (One notable exception: Rachel Lindsay’s guys were younger than her on average! Leave it to the first woman of color Bachelorette to break multiple barriers.)

I don’t expect the show to suddenly change this practice for every season to come—it’s all about the baby steps when it comes to The Bachelor—but it would be nice to have a world where a woman’s age isn’t a big reveal or a plot device. This goes both ways: Remember all the so-called controversy about 22-year-old Bekah Martinez being too young for Arie last season? The numbers might be different, but the argument is the same: restrictions are being placed around whether or not a woman’s age is “correct” for the guy she’s dating.

If we could stop focusing on that so much, there’d be more time to discuss the really important things. Like my new hero, the woman who told Colton she’s not ready for kids, “just a bunch of dogs right now.”

'The Bachelor' Season 23 Episode 1 Recap: Did You Know Colton's a Virgin?

The Bachelor is back for another season, and you know what that means: another round of giving up Monday nights to watch women in sequined dresses compete for a guy who addresses Bachelor Nation as “Hey, bro!”:

Reader, I cannot wait. Colton Underwood’s search for love is bound to be a wild ride. Of course, it helps that I’m more invested in his journey than Arie’s, though I am already over the show’s non-stop references to his virginity. Colton has more interesting personality traits than that…right? Actually, don’t answer that. It doesn’t matter anyway, because we all know the contestants fuel the drama and comedy around here. Which is why I’m going to stop with this preamble and get straight to the recap. Spoilers ahead. (Note: I’m skipping the live event coverage, sorry!)

We start with Cassie, a woman with exactly zero flaws. She has perfect teeth! She surfs! She’s smart! She works with children! She pulls off striped pants without looking like a clown! Cassie is a reminder that the women on The Bachelor are practically perfect, while the male contestants for The Bachelorette are like, “Hey, I’m a personal trainer and by personal trainer I mean I work out in my garage with my dad sometimes.” A guy on The Bachelorette can imply that victims of a school shooting are crisis actors and win. A female contestant on The Bachelor, however, can be a man’s fiancé and still get dumped on national TV for the season’s third Lauren. Men.

We then meet Hannah B. She’s from Alabama and our heir to Raven and Tia’s Southern Queen throne. Hannah B. stands on the side of the road begging trucks to honk for “Roll tide,” which is something that can only be cute in the Bachelor universe. If your friend was like, “I’m moving to California to be in a relationship with one man and 29 women but first let me stand by this highway for an hour,” you would have QUESTIONS. But Hannah B. is Miss Alabama, so I think she’ll be OK navigating the murky waters of a rose ceremony cocktail hour.

“I’m a total trainwreck. … The hot mess express, and I’m the conductor!” — Hannah B.

Katie is 26, from the east coast, and living in Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of becoming a dancer. There’s a whole scene of her dancing, I think, but her moves mostly involve waving her arms around in the air (like she just doesn’t care). Katie likes Colton because he’s her type: “blond hair, green eyes, athletic, super kind, kind of weird.”

Moving on to Heather, a 22-year-old California babe who’s never had sex or even been kissed before. Heather seems sweet and does not deserve whatever “OMG two virgins?!?!” storyline we’re undoubtedly about to see.

Onyekachukwu Ehie (a.k.a. Onyeka) claims she’s a lot to handle but doesn’t care what people think—usually the sign of a soon-to-be villain edit. She might be a good match for Colton, though: Her parents dated two weeks before getting engaged—they’ve been married 28 years—so she’s not bothered by the short time frame of a Bachelor production cycle.

Next is Nicole, a gorgeous woman who says it’s hard to be single in Miami if you’re attractive. What? Please explain. “Like, when I go out clubbing, you’re not going to meet eligible bachelors.” Oh, OK, so…don’t do that? You know there are other options, like getting set up by friends and dating apps? Applying to a reality show, especially this reality show, should be the last resort. I can’t be too harsh on Nicole, though, because we’re shown a very adorable moment with her brother AJ, who has autism.

I also can’t get a full read on Kirpa, a dental hygienist who hopes Colton flosses. For some reason she reminds me a little bit of Raquel from Vanderpump Rules, in a good way. It seems like they might have the same sweet naiveté—but at least Kirpa’s not dating a DJ who screams about summer bodies.

Demi is a “sassy” country girl who loves four-wheeling, skateboarding, and Texas. She reveals that her mom is in federal prison for embezzlement, which is new for The Bachelor. Her mom’s about to get out soon, but instead of spending time with her family or preparing for that Demi is off to the Bachelor mansion. Her only concern: Colton’s virginity. Because, “If you’ve only had a vanilla cupcake, how do you know you don’t like chocolate? Or strawberry?” Luckily she’s “the damn confetti cake.”

That leads us to our first shot of Colton, a thirst-trap scene of him showering outside while sexy rock music plays. My God, Bachelor editors, why are you so obsessed with this man’s virginity?

As if that weren’t enough, poor Colton has to talk about what it’s like to be the “first virgin Bachelor” over a montage of him working out and showering again. If The Bachelor is to be believed, then a day in the life of Colton is just showering, getting sweaty, showering, and talking about sex. Not the worst day, I guess. Colton opens up about not fitting in as a kid; he eventually found confidence through football, but he was too busy to find love. He says he was ready to have sex with Becca, but then she dumped him. Yikes.

In a sit down with Chris Harrison, Colton is told he was a “controversial” choice. They talk about the negative reaction and comments and…hold on a minute. Googles everything I’ve written about Colton. ? “I can see where they come from,” Colton says, kindly. “I get it.” He’s not here to win over the fans, or me, or Chris—he’s in it for himself. Chris Harrison brings up Colton’s virginity and implies that’s a reason some of us weren’t on board. Uh, no. I thought Colton wasn’t ready to be The Bachelor because he strung along Tia in Paradise while crying over Becca. Why would I cheer for that over cutie pies Jason and Blake?

“There’s always a stigma around being a virgin…” – Colton “He’s not a man!” – Chris Harrison

Now, it’s time for the limo arrivals. Our girl Demi is the first one out and drops this line: “So, I have not dated a virgin since I was 12, but I’m excited to give it another shot.” Poor Colton has to stand there and smile and be so patient with all this virgin nonsense. If I were him, I’d be like:

Instead he says, “All right. I love that!”

Tayshia is next, followed by “Never Been Kissed” Heather. On behalf of Bachelor Nation, I want to apologize to all the virgins who’ve ever appeared on this franchise. That includes Ashley I.

Nicole steps out in a green dress that is a lewk, and I love it. Caelynn is Miss North Carolina, so maybe she knows Hannah B.? If we can have four Laurens, we can certainly have two beauty queens. Sydney is an NBA dancer who says she had to choose between quitting her job and coming here to meet Colton. She thinks she made the right choice, but I say it’s TBD.

Elyse has Amy Adams hair realness going on. Tahzjuan’s entire bit is about how to pronounce her name. Maybe if everyone wasn’t named Lauren she wouldn’t have to do that but here we are. Cassie packed a box with fake butterflies, and Colton keeps one. Ooh, she’s getting the wifey edit. Kirpa is here, followed by Caitlin with a red balloon so they can “pop his cherry.” Make it stop.

“I mean, he is just a big, huge teddy bear who makes me feel like a little tiny baby, and I loved it.” – Demi

Cue a montage of virgin jokes and sexual innuendos. “Have you ever tasted a Georgia peach?” from Courtney. Katie makes a “V card” joke. Alex D. dressed like a sloth because he “takes things slowly.” Nicole has taken on the “voice of the audience” role, quipping about how lame the virginity jokes are and giving a side eye to Alex’s sloth costume.

PHOTO: Rick Rowell

Onyeka also tells Colton how to pronounce her name, while Erika brings a bag of nuts because her last name is Mcnutt. Hannah B. does a “roll tide!” before going into the mansion and revealing that, yup, she and Miss North Carolina know each other. Caelynn was first runner up at Miss USA and beat Hannah, but Hannah is cool with it: “I just hope we don’t have to kill each other.”

Tracy, she of problematic tweets, pulls up in a cop car because she is the fashion police. Nicole is happy a stylist has arrived because she’s never seen so many sequins in her life, which cues the arrival of Angelique and Devin, both in sparkles.

Nicole is like, well, at least I stood out by speaking Spanish! Cut to Revian speaking in Mandarin and Nina in Croatian. Alex B. does the Love Actually card move because she’s too sick to speak. Then Bri takes it to another level by talking in an Australian accent. And twist: She’s not Australian, she just did that to stand out. Can’t wait to see how that plays out.

Moving on, Hannah G. gives Colton his “favorite brand of underwear,” an empty box. (Get it?) Annie hugs. Jane Photoshops a photo of his dog next to her dog.

Meanwhile, Caelynn is still waiting for the girl that’s gonna stir the pot—or as she calls her, “that bitch”—and surprise! She’s here: Catherine, a 26-year-old DJ from Ft. Lauderdale. She brought her dog, Lucy, along to give to Colton. Um, wouldn’t he prefer having his own dog to take care of instead of your elderly Pomeranian? I’d be concerned about the kind of person willing to dump their beloved pet onto a stranger so they can drink rosé with 30 women. Chris Harrison steps in to dog sit, and you better believe he’s getting a raise for this shit. He has not spent years dealing with tears, the Paradise humidity, and Juan Pablo just to add “dog walker” to his résumé.

CATHERINE, COLTON UNDERWOOD

PHOTO: Rick Rowell

A horse-drawn carriage then comes up carrying Erin. She’s wearing blue, her job description says Cinderella, and she leaves a shoe behind as she tells Colton to find her before the clock strikes midnight. Your move, Snow White.

“Wow, I really could have done a lot more than a bag of nuts.” – Erika

Time to check in with Colton: He’s ready to enter the Lion’s den. Demi grabs Colton first after his speech. After they talk, she’s confident that he already has a crush on her. I must adopt this for my 2019 mood.

Erika Mcnutt is like, “WHY IS HE A VIRGIN. I MUST FIND OUT.” Sweetie, chill. He doesn’t even know your name yet.

Colton talks to a few of the women—Kirpa, Laura, and Hannah G.—before bonding with Caelynn over their desire to have kids. Their talk goes so well, in fact, we get our first kiss of the night. The verdict? “He kisses very well for a virgin.” (PS: She kind of looks like a pageant queen Miley Cyrus, no?)

CAELYNN

PHOTO: Rick Rowell

After this, Chris Harrison puts the first impression rose on the coffee table. The mood instantly changes—even the sloth’s claws are out. The women are all, “Where’s Colton? I NEED MY TIME.”

I’ll tell you where he is: with Sydney, who’s organized a super romantic date out on the driveway. There’s a string quartet playing “Clair De Lune” as she teaches Colton how to dance. The women hear the music and come out to creep, exclaiming, “Oh my God, he’s falling in love right now.”

That’s not the only big move: Elyse is from Alaska, so she suggests fishing in the pool. Cute idea on paper, but she basically throws a salmon carcass into the water and asks Colton to drag it out. I really hope production drained the pool after that.

ELYSE, COLTON UNDERWOOD

PHOTO: Rick Rowell

Speaking of dates, Tayshia set up a carnival called Tayshialand. That is so extra, I love it. Tayshialand has pony rides, corn hole, and…well, that’s it. Catherine the DJ’s opinion of these dates? “Girls, calm down.”

Somebody who doesn’t need to calm down: the sloth, who is literally hanging out in a tree. Sloth eventually, slowly, climbs down to talk to Colton, and a few of the women discuss how weird this is without being bitchy. I’m impressed. The conversation goes like this:

“The sloth’s kind of weird, but I bet she’s nice.”

“I want her to slip that sloth head off and be a fierce ass bitch!”

“Oh, she’s got good hair!”

Catherine the DJ is finally enjoying her solo time with Colton while Chris Harrison is stuck walking Lucy the dog around and cleaning up its poo. But soon, Tracy comes over and cuts in. Catherine agrees to leave, but changes her mind two seconds later and steals Colton back. “I didn’t mean to interrupt your coloring,” she tells him, “But I think our conversation might be a little more important.”

The women are annoyed that Catherine’s stolen extra time, so Oneyka walks over in a snorkel, blows on a whistle, and says, “Colton, I heard you were drowning in some bitches!” I. Am. Dead. Catherine thinks this is tacky, but game recognizes game so she steps away.

But then, Catherine comes over and interrupts Colton’s talk with yet another woman. This third interruption has everyone fired up, so Onyeka takes it upon herself to call Catherine on her bullshit, telling her she looks “desperate.” Catherine says she doesn’t want any bad blood with the women, and Onyeka, a genius, uses that opportunity to say, “Exactly! I’m looking out for you at this point.” Catherine blames the whole thing on “haters.” They hug.

But! Catherine goes and does it again, interrupting Tahzjuan’s time with Colton. The look on his face as this happens is a mix of fear, intrigue, confusion, and disbelief.

Apparently this was finally enough time for Catherine, because the rest of the night Colton’s able to talk to other women. He even makes out with Cassie and Katie. However, the first impression rose goes to Hannah G. Colton says she reminds him of home, and he liked that she owned her nervousness because he’s nervous too. They kiss, the music swells, and the other women go into panic mode.

A perfect time for the rose ceremony! The roses, besides Hannah G.’s, go to: Caelynn, Katie, Alex B., Hannah B., Onyeka, Caitlin, Annie, Kirpa, Heather, Elyse, Tayshia, Courtney, Cassie, Demi, Nina, Erika, Sydney, Bri, Angelique, Tracy, Nicole, and Catherine. That means we must say goodbye to Tahzjuan, Erin, Devin, Jane, Alex D., Laura, and Revian. We’ll miss you!

See you next week, friends—I can’t wait.
