Ellen Pompeo Just Revealed Her Dream Plot for the Grey's Anatomy Series Finale


Grey’s Anatomy returned to ABC this week for its season 16 (16!) premiere. There doesn’t seem to be a finale in sight for TV’s longest-running medical drama—which Dr. Meredith Grey’s fans are surely relieved to hear. But if and when the lights go out at Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital, star Ellen Pompeo has an epic plan for the series finale.

On a visit to The Late Late Show With James Corden, Pompeo said she’d like the Grey’s Anatomy series finale to be a reunion like TV has never seen. Her dream finale wouldn’t just bring back Dr. Cristina Yang (played by Sandra Oh) or McDreamy (played by Patrick Dempsey). She’d want the entire original cast to return.

“I’d love to have some of the old cast come back,” she said. “But that probably won’t happen. But that would be the most amazing way to end.”

The reason it might not work out? There would be some logistical hurdles to clear if every single character returned, thanks to show runner Shonda Rhimes’s legendary plot twists. “Some of them were killed on the show,” the actress noted.

And, Pompeo added, even the woman who brought us Meredith Grey for almost two decades can prescribe the wrong ending. “The ending, the final episode, matters so much,” she said. “And the fans are never going to be happy no matter what. Sopranos, Game of Thrones, they’re pissed no matter what you do. So, there’s a lot of pressure on that final episode.”

But anything can happen on Grey’s Anatomy, so why not explore wild plot directions including the resurrection of the original cast? After all, this is the drama that gave viewers secret long-lost siblings, surgeries that doubled as bomb detonations, and musicals set at a hospital.

“You know, the fun thing about doing a show for 16 years and having a loyal, amazing, fantastic audience is we can really just play and have fun,” Pompeo said. And if any fandom could accept a crazy finale with open arms, it’s the legions who’ve been checked into Seattle Grace Memorial’s dramas from the beginning.

Meghan Markle Just Revealed Her Nickname for Baby Archie


Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s current 10-day tour of southern Africa has given fans a chance to see them in a more personal light. And that includes, much to the delight of the internet, several moments with baby Archie, who joined his royal parents on the excursion.

On Wednesday, September 25, Markle brought Archie to his first royal engagement and revealed a nickname she has for him. According to People, the Duchess of Sussex was holding Archie during a visit with South African human rights activist Archbishop Desmond Tutu and cooed, “Say hello! Hello, hi.” Archie had a little bit of dribble spilling down his chin, and when Markle noticed it, she laughed, “Oh, Bubba!” She’s heard using the same nickname again in another video posted on the joint Sussex Instagram account. That same video also included a moment when Prince Harry whispers to the baby, “You’re going to meet Arch, Arch!”

The couple shared a few other images of their meeting with Desmond Tutu, and captioned one, “Arch meets Archie!”

“This morning The Duke and Duchess were honoured to introduce their son Archie, to Archbishop, Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka,” the caption continues. “The Archbishop, a globally respected figure in anti-apartheid movement, is one of the world’s great champions of equality, and has spent his life tirelessly battling injustice.”

Even though it’s Archie’s very first royal tour, both his parents noted that he’s relaxed and natural in front of all the cameras. Harper’s Bazaar reports that while they were having their picture taken, Prince Harry said to the cameras, “I think [Archie’s] used to it already.” Markle reportedly added, “He’s an old soul.” It looks like this whole public figure thing is coming pretty natural to him.

Fingers crossed more cute moments with baby Archie are coming on this tour soon.

Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones Just Revealed Their Relationship Status


John Paul Jones and Tayshia Adams were fan favorites on their respective seasons of The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, so you can imagine fans’ excitement when they became a couple on Bachelor in Paradise. But their union wasn’t exactly drama-free. The two experienced conflict both together and apart (remember Jones’ feud with Derek Peth)? Adams and Jones’ time on Paradise ultimately ended with a breakup of sorts, but there’s still so much more to their story. Below, the two reality stars discuss the status of their relationship, the BiP group text, and what’s next for both of them.

Glamour: JPJ, you revealed tonight that there’s a Bachelor in Paradise group text chain. Is there anyone not on it?

Tayshia Adams: I think everybody’s on it.

John Paul Jones: I think most of the people that stayed around for more than one night are on it, simply because if you were on for more than one rose ceremony, you just had the chance to develop friendships, and some people were on for such a short period of time, they just didn’t have the time to connect with anyone.

Tayshia: Also, John Paul Jones is no longer in the group chat, because he left!

Why did you leave?

JPJ: So at the time I was in the group chat, I was just trying to get over Tayshia, and we were both in the group chat, and I just didn’t want anything to do with her.

Tayshia: Isn’t that so rude?

No, because it makes sense!

JPJ: Tayshia broke up with me, and the best way to get over someone is to just not interact with them everyday or be constantly reminded of them.

I agree.

Tayshia: It’s true, it’s true.

So that’s why you left it?

JPJ: Yeah.

And you haven’t rejoined it?

JPJ: Yeah, no, and honestly, I’m in a group chat with the Bachelorette guys, and I don’t really have the time to stay updated on everything that goes on.

But you’re still on the Paradise group chat, Tayshia?

Tayshia: I am, I am, but I put it on silent because it kind of goes off sometimes, but it’s good, it’s fun.

What do you guys talk about?

Tayshia: The honest truth is that it’s just a lot of love and support. We call some people out, like each other, like ‘haha, that’s funny, Jordan,’ but honestly it’s mostly us saying we love each other and are here for each other and support each other.

What are you guys most excited about for your future together?

Tayshia: We’re working through what any normal couple works through, just because we did have a little bit of time away doesn’t mean that we don’t still go through our ups and downs. We’re just trying to navigate it as best we could, and I think that because we no longer have the cameras and all that stuff, we’re very open and transparent because we learned how to be really vulnerable and honest being on the show. I might be a little more vocal than maybe I should be at some times, but I’d rather him know where I’m coming from, and vice-versa.

JPJ: Right. Yeah, and I think Tayshia made the mature decision to end things on Paradise because it eliminated a lot of unnecessary pressure that may have come if we rushed into something, so I think we can let time kind of decide how this will play out.

Reese Witherspoon Revealed Her Natural Hair Color on Instagram — See Photos


Sure, Reese Witherspoon is best known for her roles in films and shows including Big Little Lies, Cruel Intentions, and Legally Blonde. But the actress is also often associated with her beautiful blond hair—we personally blame Elle Woods for that.

For pretty much ever, we’ve been convinced the 43-year-old actress’s natural color was blond, but apparently, I’m sorely mistaken. Witherspoon took to Instagram recently to share a childhood photo with her fans, revealing that her natural hair color is actually brown.

The photo was posted with the caption “Mom tip: Send your kid to school with a candy necklace so she can share it with all her new friends,” she wrote. In the throwback pic, Witherspoon’s hair is a light brown with just a hint of a natural blond highlight.

While her hair color is a surprise, we also can’t help but notice that this photo of Witherspoon looks just like her 19-year-old daughter Ava. And the comment section agrees. “Is this Ava or Reece???” says one fan while another says “I don’t know if this is you or your daughter.” Genetics are amazing, aren’t they?

Over the years, Witherspoon has tried a few different hair colors, ranging from deep brown, red hues to, of course, bright blond. Considering how great each color looks on Witherspoon, it’d be hard to figure out what her natural color is were it not for this childhood photo. She can pretty much wear anything. Still, we don’t see her ditching the blond anytime soon.

Anne Hathaway Just Revealed She's Pregnant With Her Second Child


Anne Hathaway has a baby on the way. The actress shared the exciting news Wednesday on Instagram, revealing to the world that she and her husband, Adam Shulman, are expecting three years after the birth of their first child, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman.

“It’s not for a movie,” Hathaway captioned a photo of her growing baby bump. She also hinted that this pregnancy hasn’t been so easy. “All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love,” she wrote.

Hathaway didn’t explain what her difficulties were specifically,, but she has been very willing to have honest discussions about motherhood. In 2017, she even advocated for paid parental leave at the United Nations, sharing how the experience of becoming a mom had been a transformative one that changed her priorities.

“”I remember I experienced a shift in consciousness that gave me the ability to maintain my love of career and also cherish something else, someone else, so much, much more,” she said. “Like so many parents, I wondered how I was going to balance my work with my new role as parent, and, in that moment, I remember that the statistic for the U.S.’s policy for maternity leave flashed through my mind.”

Speaking to Glamour last year, Anne Hathaway also opened up about how motherhood helped her come to terms with difficulties she faced in the past.

“How Johnny is going to feel about himself will have so much to do with how I feel about myself in front of him,” she said. “If I’m feeling insecure, I am very careful that I don’t show that. But I also work really hard to acknowledge that place, give room for that place, and then release myself from that place. I’m more loving now, and that includes toward myself.”

Prince Harry Revealed a Major Milestone About Baby Archie to Beyoncé and Jay-Z


Much like his father, Prince Harry, baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is going to have much of his young life documented by the public. Despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s desire to keep his life as normal as possible, he’s still a royal, after all.

One perk, though? Sometimes Beyoncé and Jay-Z will be the first (outside of family and friends, natch) to learn about him reaching new milestones—like holding up his baby head.

In case you missed it, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met Bey and Jay at the London premiere of The Lion King and shared a few sweet moments (and hugs) while discussing their children. Per People, Beyoncé told Markle that Archie was “so beautiful” before hearing about the baby’s big moment from Prince Harry.

The prince reenacted his son stretching his neck and holding his head straighter, to which Beyoncé replied, “He’s holding his neck up?” Prince Harry then showed off how he claps and cheers for his son and revealed that Archie is “not so little anymore.”

It’s a nice reminder that no matter how famous their parents are, babies are just babies—growing and changing every day. And those famous parents are going to celebrate those milestones just like the rest of us, even if they also get to hang with Beyoncé. People also reported that Beyoncé and Jay-Z left their twins, Rumi and Sir, at home for the Lion King premiere. “They are not here. They don’t come on every trip,” Beyoncé said. “We left them at home. They would loved to have been here.”

Perhaps they were following Jay-Z’s reported wise words for the Sussexes: “The best advice I can give you, always find some time for yourself.”

It’s not clear when the public will get its next glimpse at baby Archie. Perhaps another polo outing for the family? Or it might not be until Markle and Harry’s royal tour in Africa this fall. Either way, we can’t wait for more adorable photos.
