The Kardashian Sisters Are Fighting on Twitter, and People Think Kris Staged It


Grab an oversize salad and one of those Sprites from Khloé’s refrigerator that she’ll never drink, because there is some maybe real, maybe staged Kardashian drama happening on Twitter right now—and it’s all I can think about.

Like most Kardashian fights, the root of this one is something very serious and life-changing: the family’s Christmas card photo. Last week E! shared two clips of Kim and Kourtney arguing because they couldn’t coordinate their schedules for the card’s photo shoot. Kourtney wanted to stop at 4:00 P.M., but Kim had a business meeting then, ergo conflict. It was A Whole Thing that ended with Kim saying Kourtney is the “least interesting” sister to look at. Yikes.

Please note that both Kourtney and mama Kris Jenner laugh during this argument, so…how real is it? I mean, Kim does raise her voice a few octaves, so there must be a smidgen of truth to it.

Shortly after, E! shared part two of the fight, in which Kourtney calls Kim an “evil human being,” and Kim rebuffs by saying Kourtney is acting like a “lunatic.” At one point, Khloé and Kim are basically running around a backyard. It’s very important.

This all led to a stream of social media posts from Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé. First, Kim replied to a fan who took Kourtney’s side, saying the eldest sister is “sick and tired of being forced to stay relevant” by participating in a bunch of photo shoots. “Oh word, did Kourt tell you this? She sure wanna live that Kardashian life though, and BTW this photo shoot was our Christmas card,” Kim wrote.

When another fan chimed in, saying this fight was just your standard sibling drama that’ll be resolved in a day, Kim took the affirmative.

The tension escalated, though, when Kourtney offered a little insight to E! News about why she’s at such odds with her sisters. “I think it started at the end of season 14, a lot of tension building between us,” Kourtney said. “I felt like every day almost I was being picked on and criticized, and I just couldn’t take it anymore.”

She said the tension among herself, Kim, and Khloé is still “ongoing.” “I’ve been really working on myself a lot, and I think through my growth, I’m better at expressing myself,” Kourtney added. “I think in the past I’ve always been great at like not being emotional. I think that I’m better now at expressing my feelings. So I think this is ongoing. It’s a lot of communication instead of letting things go back into the way that they were. It’s definitely a process, and you’ll see it throughout the season.”

Then Kourtney posted this cryptic Snapchat about anger management, which fans took to be a diss at Kim.

Everything came to a head last night (August 5) on Twitter, conveniently during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians season-15 premiere. “You hear that??? If I don’t take my meeting as scheduled then I couldn’t launch my ULB KKW BEAUTY collection! AND I had this ONLY time slot to plan my baby shower, but Kourt wouldn’t budge to help a sis out,” Kim said, in reference to the aforementioned Christmas card schedule showdown.

Kourtney soon responded with a comment about how her main priority is being a mother.

Which Kim found insulting. “And mine is not? The shoot was with our kids!!!!! My #1 priority is being a mother as well and I can work too, so can you,” she wrote to Kourtney.

That’s when Kourtney conceded—slightly—saying Kim is an “amazing” mother, but they just have two separate outlooks on parenthood. She noted the sisters are always “ride or die,” in case any fans are worried #ChristmasCardGate is going to dissolve the Kardashian empire.

Kim echoed the love. “dont ever get it twisted, me, Kourtney and Khloe are GOOD! ALWAYS!!!! Never question that,” she wrote. Kourtney agreed, simply replying back, “Unconditional love.”

But wait! There’s more! Khloé chimed in on Kourtney and Kim’s tussle, claiming she just wanted “peace” between the sisters. Kourtney called bullshit on that, writing, “Khloé let’s be honest here.”

And that…didn’t sit well with Khloé. “What the fuck does that mean?? I didn’t want peace??” she wrote, to which Kourtney replied she did “eventually.”

Khloé then started chewing Kourtney out in a series of tweets. “Stop looping me into your drama with Kim! Don’t ever tweet me that shit again,” she wrote. She was sure to hashtag #KUWTK in all her tweets too, which is perfectly normal behavior in a spontaneous family fight.

The sisters were apparently supposed to have a conference call to settle their differences (LOL). That didn’t happen.

Oh, and Kourtney’s apparently pissed at Kris, as well.

Who, keep in mind, fans think staged this entire brawl for ratings. The devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder, etc., etc.

This really is the Shakespearean tragedy of our time.

Fendi's New Family-Focused Campaign Stars Kim Kardashian, North West, and Kris Jenner


It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Jenners love Fendi: They wear the brand frequently, and even push around their babies in their logo-covered strollers. It seems like the Italian fashion houses loves the family right back, casting three generations of Kardashian women in its latest campaign.

Fendi released a series of ads celebrating the 10th anniversary of its classic Peekaboo bag, titled #MeAndMyPeekaboo. The latest installment stars Kim Kardashian West, Kris Jenner, and North West, lounging about in equestrian-chic outfits with, of course, Peekaboo bags. On July 10, Fendi will be releasing a short film starring the trio, with Kanye West‘s “Love Lockdown” serving as the soundtrack. (So many Kardashian layers!)

The first chapter of the #MeAndMyPeekaboo campaign centered around Silvia Venturini Fendi (the brand’s creative director for accessories, menswear, and kidswear) and her daughters, Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi. Other female relatives featured in this series include Clara and Esther McGregor (Ewan McGregor’s daughters); Jessica and Krystal Jung (both singers and actors); Hong Kong–based musician Joey Yung and her mother, Kam Fung; and photographer Gao Yuan with her daughter, musician Dou Jiayuan.

“The idea was to expand the concept of family, as it’s part of our history, and we wanted other families of women,” Venturini Fendi told WWD. “In the case of the Kardashians, they are all three of them very strong women, with strong personalities. It’s an iconic family, who is known for its appearance, but we wanted to bring more of an intimate side to the table.”

Fendi CEO Serge Brunschwig added: “We wanted to show the most genuine and authentic aspect that is behind the people we collaborate with, and the complicity between the women of the family. We have chosen to collaborate with family-related members that have been relevant in general, as well as known as a family, from the more controversial ones, who more and more express a courageous point of view and they have a vision, to more unexpected and unexplored ones.”

Kris Jenner's Momager Makeup Collection for Kylie Cosmetics Is Everything


Social media comes as naturally to the Kardashian-Jenners as contouring, which is why when Kylie Jenner‘s Instagram for Kylie Cosmetics got hacked, it wasn’t random. Instead, it was Kris Jenner’s handiwork, as she later revealed in a series of cryptic posts. The occasion? Jenner was celebrating her first collaboration with Kylie Cosmetics, timed to Mother’s Day.

Because the Kardashian-Jenners don’t do anything small, the matriarch went as far as to change the Instagram handle of @kyliecosmetics to @kriscosmetics. Her first post on the page was a static screen showing Kylie’s name before flashing “hacking…” “Hi dolls,” Jenner wrote in the caption, “Ready for me to takeover? guess who.. ?” Once the next video hit, though, it was immediately apparent who was behind it. Who else would step out of a Rolls-Royce to walk up to a gold throne with a black-and-white checkerboard background (just like the floors in Jenner’s home famously shown on Keeping Up With the Kardashians).

“Hey guys.. it’s me! and oh, my collection drops on Mother’s Day,” reads the caption, in a stroke of the marketing savvy Jenner has become known for.

Fittingly, her collaboration for Kylie Cosmetics includes a “Momager” lip collection, which Jenner explained as “eight minis which are fabulous… Mattes, liquids, velvets!” She even swatched them, set to her son-in-law Kanye West’s 2005 classic “Gold Digger”—perhaps reassuring the world that there’s no lost love in the wake of his recent Twitter sprees. “My first time swatching,” she commented in Instagram stories, sharing the color “Too Blessed.” “I’m using Kylie’s arm.”

It’s “Middle Finger,” a bright red, however, that’s Jenner’s favorite, as she revealed.

It may be the eyeshadow palette, though, that has the best names. The metallic grouping includes shades like “I Love Myself,” “Vodka Tonic,” “Haters,” “Payback’s a B-tch,” and “I’m Watching You.” Not to mention that the case includes the words “I have one word for tonight: Vodka.”

As if that wasn’t extra enough, Jenner also created a face palette, which, of course, features her face emblazoned across it. The most Kris Jenner thing of all about the Momager collection has to be the quote she printed on the back of her face palette, a reference to a viral moment early on in Keeping Up With the Kardashians when, at Kim’s Playboy shoot, she told her daughter, “You’re doing amazing, sweetie.” Is it any wonder Kylie recently quoted the Mean Girls line “I’m Not a Regular Mom, I’m a Cool Mom?” The apple doesn’t fall far from the Jenner.

Kris Jenner Just Revealed the Meaning Behind Khloé Kardashian's Baby Name


Khloé Kardashian revealed on Monday (April 16) the name of her baby girl, whom she welcome with Tristan Thompson last week: True. “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True,” Khloé wrote in an Instagram post. The name, naturally, caused a social media frenzy, with thousands of fans hypothesizing the meaning behind it.

And now we know. Khloé’s mother, Kris Jenner, also posted a congratulatory post to Instagram on Monday and revealed the story behind True’s name. Apparently, it runs in the family. “I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True,” Kris posted. Khloé gave birth to True last Thursday (April 12) in Cleveland, Ohio. Tristan is a forward for the Cavaliers, so Khloé’s been spending a lot of time in the city as a result. Of course, all this news is coming off the heels of both The Daily Mail and TMZ reporting Tristan allegedly cheated on Khloé last weekend in New York City. Those rumors, however, haven’t been confirmed or denied by the couple.

Reports that Khloé was expecting her first baby popped up in September 2017, and she confirmed them in December. “Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Kris Jenner Basically Just Confirmed That Khloé Kardashian Gave Birth


This afternoon, TMZ broke the news that Khloé Kardashian had given birth to her first child in a Cleveland hospital sometime around 4:00 A.M. According to the news outlet, her family—Kris Jenner and Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, specifically—were by her side. Khloé’s boyfriend and the child’s father, Tristan Thompson, who is currently at the center of a cheating scandal, was reportedly there too.

Since the news broke, many have wondered when Khloé or her family would confirm the happy news; they were tight-lipped about Kylie Jenner for so long, after all. But leave it to matriarch Kris to be the first of the bunch to break the silence—and by social media, no less.

Shortly after reports of Khloé giving birth surfaced, Kris re-posted a tweet by W that said, “When three of your sisters give birth in under a year. Congratulations to @KhloeKardashian on welcoming another girl to the KarJenner clan” with an emphatic caption: “BLESSED!!!”

Though Kris is the only Kardashian to publicly congratulate Khloé so far, she’s certainly far from the last person to take to Twitter to talk about the birth. Fans from all around the world have shared their well-wishes and reactions, like those below:

They’ve also been rallying around Khloé following reports of Tristan’s alleged infidelity. On Wednesday, several attended a Cleveland Cavaliers game, where they brought signs saying such things as “We love Khloé” and booed whenever he appeared on court.

For now, though, it’s time to simply celebrate the birth of this new Kardashian family member—and wait for the others to tweet about it, of course.

Kris Jenner Just Went Platinum Blond, and This Time It's Legit


The world loves an icon, and Kris Jenner is nothing if not that. After a casual 11 years and 14 seasons in the spotlight, to call Jenner a boss is an understatement, but no one deserves the label more than her. The smarts, the savvy, the talent for lounging around martini in hand—Jenner’s got it all, and now the platinum blond hair to match.

If that martini reference makes no sense, you might’ve missed Jenner’s brief stint as a platinum blond in October. With a single photo on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram, Jenner looked like she was living large in an incredible rose-covered white suit, red leather accessories, and her signature pixie cut in an all-new platinum shade. It was a glorious time, but it wasn’t long for this world. Jenner was back to brunette in a second.

But now, the platinum pixie rides again.

According to the Kardashian’s go-to stylist, Chris Appleton, this time it’s for real—both he and Jenner posted a photo of her with bright, white blond hair late Tuesday night. It’s not quite Kim’s silvery platinum color, but one that leans warmer and more of a true white.

From the captions, this is no fake-out. Jenner hashtagged her photo with “#MotherDaughterTuesday,” while Appleton wrote, “Look who joined the gang!,” along with some advice for going platinum white. The trick? It’s all about Olaplex, a protein treatment that rebuilds your hair’s bonds after bleach does a number on them. Appleton also wrote that he used Color Wow’s Dreamcoat, an anti-humidity treatment that seals your hair follicle to keep it silky.

The good thing is, the Kardashian households are probably stocked with bleach rescue products aplenty. Kim posted on Instagram that she’s thinking of dying her hair darker again for 2018, so if she follows through, it’ll be a one-in, one-out switch. For anyone who’s ever shared hair products with their mom, that’s probably for the best.
