Khloé Kardashian Responds to Jordyn Woods: ‘Why Are You Lying?’

It felt like the entire Internet tuned in to watch Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch talk show, Red Table Talk, earlier today, March 1, to see Jordyn Woods finally share her side of the Khloé Kardashian–Tristan Thompson scandal. (Quick recap, in case you’ve somehow missed it: Reports surfaced that Woods, who is best friends with Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner, had hooked up with Thompson after a night of partying. Kardashian and the rest of her family have reportedly cut Woods out of their lives following the incident.)

In the interview Woods admitted that Thompson kissed her at the party—but she left soon after. “It was like a kiss on the lips, but no tongue kiss, no making out,” she said. “Nothing. But I don’t think that he’s wrong either, because I allowed myself to be in that position. And when alcohol’s involved, people make dumb moves or people get caught up in the moment.”

Woods was adamant that nothing more happened between the two. She says she told Kardashian and Jenner the next day that she had been at his house…but not about the kiss.

While Woods admitted that she should have told the truth, she also doesn’t think she was the cause of Kardashian and Thompson’s issues. “I know I’m not the reason Tristan and Khloé aren’t together,” she said. She says she did call and text Kardashian to apologize.

This apparently didn’t sit well with Kardashian, who took to Twitter shortly after the Red Table Talk episode aired with her thoughts. “Why are you lying @jordynwoods?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story,” she wrote. “BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!”

Soon after, many people then called out Kardashian, telling her she should be focusing on Thompson and his actions, not Woods. “Tristan is THE REASON YOUR FAMILY BROKE UP,” one user wrote. “Blame your man sis,” another added.

Kardashian addressed this on Twitter as well, writing, “Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well.”

Since the incident broke, Thompson has not spoken publicly about what happened. As for Woods, she said in the interview that it was fear that kept her from being honest. “I didn’t tell the truth to the people that I loved,” she said, “not because of malicious intent, but because I was just scared.”

How to Deal With Difficult People, According to Khloe Kardashian's Former Assistant and Other Unlikely Experts

This summer Netflix released the most honest film about what it’s like to work for a horrible boss since, well, Horrible Bosses. The beloved romcom Set It Up. tells the tale of Harper (Zoey Deutch), who is the assistant to Kirsten (Lucy Liu), a high-powered media impresario in the vein of The Devil Wears Prada‘s immaculate Miranda Priestly.

In one especially dark sequence, Harper runs around the office wearing Kirsten’s Fitbit—so she can hit her desired 10,000 step count—and has to order “that thing Kirsten likes from that place with that delivery guy” for Kirsten’s 11:00 PM second dinner. The film paints a dismal picture of what it’s like to work for a difficult person—but as the expression goes, real life is stranger than fiction. The tasks Harper is asked to do in the movie don’t hold a candle to the stories we heard while talking to the assistants and caretakers of the rich and famous.

To deliver the ultimate guide in how to tolerate impossible coworkers, bosses, friends, and relatives, we spoke with the assistant who used to fetch Oreos for Khloe Kardashian’s impossibly ‘grammable cookie jar, the Upper East Side nanny who assisted in a parent’s weed delivery, and the Below Deck star who had to import a particular brand of nuts (from another country!) for a client while she and her crew were on the high seas. Below, their their wildest, weirdest stories—and their best advice for how to deal with difficult people.

Former Assistant to Khloe Kardashian

“During my time working for Koko, a lot of my job was to go grocery shopping. If you’ve ever seen Keeping Up With the Kardashians you know what immaculate kitchens the sisters have, and I was in charge of stocking up on the snacks, or what I like to call “prop food.” I remember one day in particular when I was tasked with buying organic fruit for a scene they were shooting in Khloe’s kitchen.

“At first, I was asked to buy fresh, organic pineapples (which were, of course, out of season). After driving 45 minutes to a farm on the outskirts of Calabasas I was able to procure the pineapples. But as soon as I returned to the house, I was immediately sent back out—without so much as a thank you—to purchase another out of season fruit, plums. Being in charge of tracking down hard-to-find foods was frustrating and often felt fruitless (pun intended), but I had to remind myself that even the small things that I was in charge of that seemed banal were all a part of the larger operation. Even if you’re doing something thankless and aren’t getting that “thank you” from your boss, know that you’re making their life easier—and day go smoother—and for that they’re immensely grateful (even if they don’t tell you).” — Anonymous, Los Angeles

Divorce Mediator

“As you can imagine, people are often not at their best when they are going through a divorce. I’ve learned to be compassionate, and to try to get a sense of what they are experiencing. It often involves a lot of fear of the unknown, of transitioning into a new life, and grief for the relationship they had (or thought they had.). I work hard to understand them, and to acknowledge their reality, while helping them stay positive and mange their emotions so we can keep the conversations we have during mediation positive and productive.

“When you’re working with highly emotional people, help them parse through their feelings. When people are upset, they can often express their feelings in an unhelpful way, like yelling. The best thing to do in that scenario is help your client find a better way to articulate what they want and need. You can even do this in subtle ways, like asking them simple questions to calm them down and get to the root of the problem. It will be better for you—because nobody likes getting yelled at—but also will help them get what they want much faster and easier.” — Joy Rosenthal, Rosenthal Law & Mediation, New York

Upper East Side Nanny

“Working for the elite families of New York City is a balancing act. On any given day, I’m expected to fill in for wealthy Upper East Side moms as they go to their boutique fitness classes, tennis lessons, or lunch meetings. That leaves me to pack snacks, cart along book bags filled with art projects and chapter books, and make sure we arrive to any activity the children might have that day. While that in and of itself is difficult, I have found it even more challenging to meet the demands of the difficult mothers. From having my bosses ask me to stay “a little late” while they head out to a party (only to be woken up at 4 AM), to picking up flowers for a bris ceremony, or being asked to check three stores for a specific brand of pasta for a two-year-old, my days are never boring. I’ve even been asked to use my discretion after watching parents meet with their weed delivery person in their son’s room!

Kim Kardashian Is Not Here for This Troll's Shady Tweet About Khloé and Tristan

Khloé Kardashian made her first appearance since the Tristan Thompson–Jordyn Woods cheating drama Wednesday night, February 20, in Los Angeles at a party for the style brand PrettyLittleThing. And unfortunately, many people are spending hours analyzing Kardashian’s face in pictures from the event. One outlet even went as far as to say she “failed to raise a smile” the entire evening. Ugh.

A second outlet had a similar opinion—only this time it caught Kim Kardashian West‘s attention. “If someone cheats on you publicly. Y’all going outside the next day?” reads the tweet, which Kardashian West wasted no time responding to.

“Would you prefer she lose the ? too?” she tweeted. “A single mom has to work too boo! This was a professional commitment planned far in advance and you better believe she is not waiting on anyone to pay her bills or provide for her daughter. PERDIODT!!!”

See Kardashian West’s response for yourself, below. This is the first time any of Khloé’s sisters has spoken out—at least tangentially—about what happened.

We have a full recap of the Khloé-Tristan-Jordyn saga, but for those who just want a quick summary: News broke Tuesday that Khloé Kardashian and Thompson were breaking up amid rumors he cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. Everything out there about the situation is speculative at this point—though Kardashian did post a few telling quotes to her Instagram Story. “The worst pain is gettin hurt by a person you explained your pain to,” reads one of them.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Kim Kardashian West is the first relative to address this drama. She was quite vocal the first time Thompson cheated on Khloé in April 2018—just days before Khloé gave birth. “Like, I don’t even know how to describe it besides it’s just so fucked up,” she told Ellen DeGeneres at the time.

Khloé Kardashian Might Be the Next Bachelorette—and People Are Here for It

The only reality show more bonkers than The Bachelor is Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and those worlds might be colliding very soon. Mike Fleiss, creator of The Bachelor, tweeted Thursday afternoon (February 21) that Khloé Kardashian—yes, Khloé Kardashian—is in the running to be the next Bachelorette.

“@khloekardashian is very much in contention… Stay tuned! #TheBachelorette,” Fleiss tweeted before quickly following up with, “Any decision regarding @khloekardashian as the new #TheBachelorette will need to be approved by my dear friend @KrisJenner….” That last one is a given, obviously. I mean, the Kardashian-Jenners don’t breathe without Mama Kris’ sign-off. (Kidding.)

This Bachelorette rumor is coming either at the best or worst time for Kardashian. Just three days ago, news broke she and boyfriend Tristan Thompson were breaking up amid rumors he cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. Is Khloé ready to jump into the dating scene so quickly after that dramatic saga? Crazier things have happened on The Bachelor. That’s for sure.

And it’s a perfect match, if you think about it. Kardashian’s basically lived her entire life on television, so she could easily find love on The Bachelor. Maybe Mike Fleiss is onto something….

Of course, take this news with a grain of salt. The odds of Kardashian actually becoming the next Bachelorette are slim. She has an entire empire to tend to, not to mention her daughter, whom she welcomed with Tristan last April. Putting her life on hold for The Bachelorette would be an undertaking, to say the least.

But that’s not stopping fans from freaking out over this idea. “I mean there’s no way it’d happen but I’d love it,” one person tweeted. “She deserves to find love,” posted another.

Check out some more reactions for yourself, below:

If this does happen—and that’s a big if—one thing is certain: All the family cameos would be iconic. I mean, come on: Kris Jenner crashing a rose ceremony? TV doesn’t get any better than that.

Khloé Kardashian Broke Her Silence on the Tristan Thompson-Jordyn Woods Drama

Unless you’ve been sequestered somewhere without WiFi, you probably heard there’s a new scandal rocking the Kardashian-Jenner family. Earlier this week, news broke that Khloé Kardashian‘s boyfriend—and father of her daughter, True—Tristan Thompson allegedly cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. Kardashian and Thompson are reportedly no longer together as a result—”[She’s] completely done with [Thompson] for good,” a source tells Us Weekly.

Save for a highly-scrutinized Instagram comment, Kardashian has remained silent on the incident—until now. The Good American mogul recently posted a series of quotes to Instagram Stories about heartbreak and betrayal. There’s no direct mention of Thompson or Woods, but it’s not hard to guess who she’s likely referring to.

“The worst pain is gettin hurt by a person you explained your pain to,” Kardashian posted first, which eerily describes her current situation. After all, Woods has been close with the Kardashian-Jenners for years. “Jordyn has been like Kylie’s sister,” a source tells People. “They were inseparable, and always together.”

The second is a spin on the “everything happens for a reason” mantra: “Somebody needs to hear this…That betrayal was your blessing!!!!”

The third post seems like a pretty direct reference to Thompson, whose first cheating scandal occurred just days before Kardashian gave birth to baby True. It reads, “If they ask you about me, tell them: ‘She was the only person that loved me with honesty, and I broke her.'”

Khloé Kardashian followed these quotes with an illustration of a woman crying and a close-up of a beautiful bouquet of flowers:

The rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has remained silent so far, but Khloé’s sister Kim recently unfollowed both Woods and Thompson on Instagram. Woods has also reportedly moved out of Kylie Jenner’s home, where she was living. Read our complete breakdown of this saga here.

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Have Reportedly Broken Up

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have ended their relationship, Us Weekly confirmed on Tuesday, February 19. “They aren’t speaking,” a source tells the magazine.

There have been signs recently hinting that this might happen. For one, Kardashian and Thompson reportedly didn’t spend Valentine’s Day together—though he did send her flowers, which she posted to Instagram Stories—and they haven’t been seen in public together since January 13. Kardashian also hasn’t made plans to move back to Cleveland, where Thompson lives during basketball season. Add in the cryptic messages Kardashian has been posting lately to Instagram (see below) and you have reason to believe all is not well with Kardashian and Thompson.

TMZ reports that Kardashian ended things after Thompson cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. Shortly after this rumor surfaced, Thompson tweeted (then deleted), “FAKE NEWS.”

But it looks like Kardashian and her best friend Malika Haqq may have confirmed it. “STRONG FACTS,” Haqq commented underneath a Hollywood Unlocked post about the story. Kardashian quickly followed with a string of emojis.

If true, this wouldn’t be Thompson’s first cheating scandal. In April 2018, just days before Kardashian gave birth to their daughter, Thompson was spotted kissing another woman in New York City. The story became a focal point on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that season. In June, Kardashian defended her decision to stay with Thompson, tweeting, “You have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist. I’m proud of my strength. I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.”

Her sister Kim was less kind about the situation, telling Ellen DeGeneres, “Like, I don’t even know how to describe it besides it’s just so fucked up.”

We’ve reached out to Khloé Kardashian’s and Jordyn Woods’ reps for comment and will update this post if and when they respond.
