Jordyn Woods Responds to Fans Who Think She Shaded Khloé Kardashian Last Night

If you thought the drama between Jordyn Woods, Khloé Kardashian, and Tristan Thompson was over, think again. Almost 10 months after Woods, Kylie Jenner’s former BFF, was caught allegedly kissing Thompson (the father of Kardashian’s daughter, True) the saga continues.

On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé received some expensive gifts from Thompson, now her ex, and some fans questioned why she was showing kindness and forgiveness to him, but not Woods. The reality star posted a long Instagram Story after the episode. “I don’t hold any negative or hateful feelings towards ANYONE! I mean that,” she wrote. “Life is short! We are all humans trying to figure out this thing called life … Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart.”

She then further clarified her message. “The reason why I decided to post my previous post is because I’m seeing a lot of back-and-forth with people asking ‘Why don’t I keep that same energy with Jordyn?’ That message is for Jordyn,” she wrote. “It’s for anyone else who has ever hurt me. For some reason people want to assume that I’m talking only about Tristan. This message applies to ALL parties involved in situations that have ever hurt me. I have moved on, found forgiveness and wish you only happiness and joy!”

Then, Jordyn Woods posted a quote that many thought was directed at Khloé Kardashian: “Someone somewhere is still discussing the old you because they don’t have access to the new you.” Woods, however, says that’s not the case. “Not every quote that is posted is a sub or a ‘clap back’ and not everything posted is directed towards one person in general. I deal with a lot of different shit daily. It’s all love. Only positive vibrations ??♥️,” she tweeted.

So, that’s that. But what we really want to know is what Kylie thinks about these latest developments.

Watch the Moment When the Kardashians Found Out About Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods

Ever since news broke that Khloé Kardashian‘s boyfriend (and father of her daughter, True), Tristan Thompson, had allegedly hooked up with her sister Kylie Jenner‘s best friend Jordyn Woods, fans have been waiting to see the drama unfold on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Now, the moment has finally arrived. In a new clip from Sunday’s upcoming finale, we get to see the moment Kim Kardashian learns about the scandal and quickly loops in Kourtney, Khloé, and Kylie on an epic conference call. Kim is waiting to film some of her confessional interviews, just as she was the first time a cheating story about Thompson broke: “My friend Larsa [Pippen] called me to explain that a reporter that she knows was about to write a story that Jordyn and Tristan were at his home last night, or until 7 in the morning,” she says. “They said they were, like, making out and I immediately didn’t believe it. You know, I was, like, this can’t be true.”

We then see her on a call with Khloé and Kourt, where Khloé says she has talked to Jordyn. “It’s really weird,” she says. “She’s not giving me all the information. She was like, ‘He was trying to kiss me…’ and was like, ‘I can’t remember if we did or didn’t.'” This is when Kylie gets looped in and learns the allegation about Jordyn sitting on Tristan’s lap.

It’s all pretty dramatic—and this seems like just the tip of the iceberg. As anyone who’s been following the story knows, Thompson and Khloé broke up. Woods eventually moved out of Kylie’s house in the aftermath, and later appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk to tell her side of the story. (There have been rumors that Woods and Kylie are hanging out again.)

Jordyn Woods Is Reportedly Fully Moved Out of Kylie Jenner's Mansion

Back in February, Jordyn Woods was thrust into the media spotlight when Khloé Kardashian’s now-ex-boyfriend and father of her child Tristan Thompson kissed her as she left a party at his house. Woods, who before all this was Kylie Jenner‘s best friend, took a lot of vitriol as a result: The internet blew up with memes and angry tweets, and Woods’ relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family took a turn.

Three months have come and gone since then, and it seems as though the drama has finally come to an end. All signs point to the fact that Jordyn and Kylie, who once lived together in Jenner’s Hidden Hills, California home (as documented on the reality show Life of Kylie), are no longer as close as they once were. In fact, Woods is fully moved out of Jenner’s home.
According to TMZ, Woods swung by Jenner’s about a week and a half ago to pick up her things.

The outlet also reports that the two women are still amicable—and have been, it seems: They reportedly got lunch together in March. But they’re each doing their own thing now: Yesterday Kylie and her boyfriend Travis Scott got matching tattoos Stormi tattoos on their right arms.

And for Woods? She posted on Saturday night that she’s found a new place of her own—and she’s busy furnishing it.

Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods Are Reportedly Hanging Out Again

Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have reportedly been seen in public together for the first time since the Khloé-Tristan-Jordyn drama kicked off shortly after Valentine’s Day. Jenner and her daughter Stormi were spotted sharing breakfast with Woods in a Calabasas restaurant on Friday morning, according to E! News.

“It seemed very casual and they both were having a discussion together while eating,” an eyewitness told E! News about the reported meal at the Calabasas restaurant Pedalers Fork.

The breakfast meeting is the first time the pair have been spotted together since news broke that Khloé Kardashian’s then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson had cheated on her with Woods.

Shortly after, Woods moved out of Jenner’s Calabasas home, which she had lived in for more than a year, E! News reported, though Woods adamantly maintained that she and Jenner were still communicating during her appearance on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Facebook show Red Table Talk. Thompson and Kardashian have since broken up.

Beyond Kylie, the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family has reportedly severed all ties with Woods. But according to a source who spoke to People, cutting ties isn’t as easy for the younger Jenner sister.

“Their friendship is not 100-percent over,” the source told People on Friday. The source added: “Although she doesn’t live at Kylie’s, Jordyn still has things there. She and Kylie aren’t socializing but are in contact. They are texting each other.”

On Friday, Woods posted to Instagram for the first time since the scandal broke. In her post, she shared two sunny selfies with the caption, “If you’re reading this.. it means God has given you another day to wake up and be grateful & better than you were yesterday.”

Khloé Kardashian Just Walked Back Some of What She Said About Jordyn Woods

It’s been a week (well, a few weeks) in the collective Kardashian-Jenner household. Before Kylie Jenner reportedly accused Travis Scott of cheating on her, there was the whirlwind demise of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship, which was confirmed dead on Tuesday, February 19. ICYMI, the reason why was dramatic even for Kardashian-Jenner standards: Thompson reportedly cheated on Kardashian with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.

The Internet went crazy, quickly vilifying Woods and blaming her for the whole scandal. On Friday, she finally spoke out to give her side of the story on Red Table Talk (hosted by long-time Woods family friend Jada Pinkett Smith.) A tearful Woods maintained her innocence but said she regretted the decision to attend a party at Thompson’s house and admitting he kissed her on the lips on her way out.

Kardashian responded to Woods’ interview via Twitter:

“Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up! “

“Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then [sic] yes I would address him publicly as well,” she continued.

People on Twitter were quick to point out that Kardashian’s comments about Woods seemed unfair given Thomson’s past behavior, and on Saturday, Kardashian appeared to walk back her comments, acknowledging Thompson is to blame for her family breaking up. “This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I),” she said. “I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.”

“What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault,” Kardashian continued.

“I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”

Why Jordyn Woods Should Not Have to Take the Blame for Tristan Thompson's Actions

On Friday afternoon, March 1, Jordyn Woods’ Red Table Talk interview with host and longtime family friend Jada Pinkett-Smith finally went live. In the 30-minute segment, Woods shared her side of the salacious story that’s been consuming gossip media for nearly two weeks: the rumor that she hooked up with Tristan Thompson, the father of friend Khloé Kardahian’s child. Teary-eyed and somber, Woods’ account of what really happened that night seemed earnest and credible—but it also revealed that Woods has internalized the deeply held cultural belief that women are responsible for the misdeeds and bad behavior of grown men. “I don’t think he’s wrong,” she says of Thompson in the interview, “because I allowed myself in that position.”

In the time since the scandal first broke, it seems the Kardashian family has orchestrated a scorched earth campaign against Woods, exiling her from the family businesses and taking to social media to fan the flames. Family friends Malika Haqq and Larsa Pippen have also gotten in on the action, with Khloé Kardashian herself taking shots at the 21-year-old.

As young model and influencer who owes most of her fame to her association with the Kardashian family, Woods is an easy target; while she’s highly visible in the Kardashian ecosystem, she seemingly has little to no agency within it. It’s disappointing that the family would make Woods a scapegoat in their domestic foibles, but it isn’t surprising: Blaming another woman, especially a black woman, for the wandering eye of a partner is a tried and true tactic that somehow always works in society, regardless of the configuration of the relationships involved. Historically, black women are both Mammies and Jezebels; too frigid and asexual to keep a man once she has him, too lascivious and promiscuous for anyone else’s man to resist. The script had already been written.

What’s most troublesome about the entire scandal is Jordyn’s apparent conflict between accepting her prescribed position in the narrative, while simultaneously pushing back against the fury coming her way from the family and society at large. Her willingness to accept the blame comes through loud and clear as she mentions several times that doesn’t fault Thompson for what happened. “I feel like I can’t point fingers and I can’t say, ‘You did this’ because I allowed myself to be in that position,” she says at one point. “I allowed myself to be there.”

Multiple times, she says she was at fault for what she describes as a non-consensual kiss. Despite denying the most serious allegations outright—that she and Thompson hooked up beyond a kiss—Woods accepted culpability for the incident, essentially punishing herself for ever being anywhere near Thompson in the first place. And while she admits she was not immediately forthright about what did happen, she skips over the fact that she should be able to spend time with someone who is, for all intents and purposes, a family member without worrying he’ll try to initiate an intimate encounter. It’s probably safe to assume that Thompson’s version of events heavily contradicts Woods’, but when it comes down to it: Why should anyone believe his version of events over hers? When he’s the proven cheater and she’s a longtime family friend?

Thompson and Kardashian

Hollywood To You/Star Max

Given the way the story has been framed, it’s little wonder that Woods felt compelled to seek out a friendly and, yes, very public platform to state her case. After all, it didn’t take long for the usual trope-laden narrative to take hold in the press and on social media: that Woods was a malicious harpy who seduced Thompson away from his familial obligations, betraying her white friends (and benefactors) along the way. Most of the coverage of the story has centered on Woods: what she did, what she lost, and how the family is choosing to punish her. The memes following the scandal were all a variation of the same warning: Don’t bite the hand that feeds.

Regardless of which version of the story you believe, Tristan Thompson has somehow managed to become a footnote in the story of his own infidelity. It’s a colossal feat that doesn’t happen without the larger context that automatically frames black women as perpetrators of harms they haven’t committed.
