Hilary Duff married her longtime-boyfriend Matthew Koma last month, and the celebration was a low-key, intimate event in her backyard. Following the private nuptials, she posted a few images to Instagram that captured the picture-perfect event and the actor even shared the details of creating her romantic Jenny Packham gown. And now, Duff is giving fans a look at her enviable honeymoon, which includes some stunning views of South Africa.
Duff posted several shots that show she and Koma hanging out a the beach, hugging over mountain landscapes, and enjoying super colorful sunsets. In one of the photos, Duff and Koma can be seen peering out from their window while sipping drinks. “Honeymooning with my honey. Already seen the big 5 and had so many naps. Doesn’t get better than this….” she wrote. “Moonin’ n swoonin’,” she captioned another.
Koma also shared several images of their safari in Kruger National Park. “This place is unreal,” he wrote in a post that includes a selfie of the two of them, plus pictures of a lion, lioness, and an elephant. He capped the trip off with a longer collection of photos detailing their trip: “We climbed Table Mountain in Cape Town, played bananagrams in Mozambique, read a book with a disappointing ending together on our flights, experienced a dream safari in Sabi Sands, had the best meal of our lives at Test Kitchen, and I got to bask in the high of doing it all with my best friend turned wife. I truly am the luckiest.”
Both of them looked sad to see the whole thing end. “Long journey home after the most insane trip of my life! We can’t wait to squeeze the babbbbies and rub their skin offffffffff,” she wrote in the Instagram caption of a photo that shows her and Koma making sad faces at the airport.
The vacation seems to have come at a good time; Duff has been working on the highly-anticipated reboot of her old show Lizzie McGuire. However, some recent drama temporarily ended production on the show. Hopefully, she was too busy enjoying South Africa to stress.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are currently on their honeymoon, and I have FOMO. Yes, that’s right: I have FOMO from a couple’s honeymoon, a party that’s specifically designated for just two people. But I have good reasons! For one, Chopra and Jonas’ postwedding getaway is happening somewhere in the Caribbean. (Meanwhile, I’m in New York City, dreading leaving my apartment because it’s so freezing.) Also, the honeymoon came as a complete surprise to Chopra, according to E! Online.
“[Jonas] surprised Priyanka with the celebration,” a source tells the outlet. “She had no idea it was going to be the Caribbean, and Nick is planning everything for the trip. It’s all a complete surprise to Priyanka. She knew it was a honeymoon trip but didn’t find out where they were going until they landed.” So…a surprise trip to the Caribbean with hot Nick Jonas in the middle of January? Yup, that sounds exactly like the kind of trip I want to be on—even if it is a couple’s honeymoon.

On Instagram Stories, Jonas shared a video of himself staring lovingly at Chopra as she catches some air on a beach swing. This is all just so picturesque!
Jonas and Chopra tied the knot over a multiday ceremony in Jodhpur, India. They pushed back their honeymoon for work obligations, but these posts prove it was worth the wait. No worries, you two: I’ll just be over here…sad and very cold.
A little more than a week ago, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth managed to do what few celebrities can: a super-low-key surprise wedding. Now, it sure does look like the couple is enjoying their new marital status on a magical snowy vacation, according to Cyrus’ Instagram activity.
On December 23, Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot in their Tennessee home in front of a small group of friends and family. At first, the world didn’t know for sure if the couple was really married—for a bit, the only images of the event came courtesy of a friend and wedding attendee’s Instagram Stories—but Cyrus later confirmed it with some gorgeously romantic photos of her in a white dress, and more importantly confirmation-wise, Hemsworth wearing a wedding ring as they embraced. Shortly after, the couple reportedly jetted off for a honeymoon over the holidays on the snowy slopes of Montana with a ton of family members in tow.
Although the newlyweds stayed fairly silent on social media up until now, that didn’t stop extended family from posting pics from the ski trip. Cyrus’ new brother-in-law, Chris Hemsworth, posted a picture of him and his wife, model, actress, and producer Elsa Pataky, in the great outdoors.

A few days later, as everyone got ready for New Year’s Eve, Cyrus—who had paused on the ‘gram since her wedding—posted a perfectly cool OOTD pic that’s frankly enough to convince anyone to try a beret…

Of course, Cyrus went all out with a gold balloon wall and glitter couch for the New Year’s Eve festivities.
She also added a little reminder, courtesy of what looks like a very festive onesie, that she’s still happy being her goofy self: “I can try & act cool, but this is me FoReVeR #NewYearsFit #FindYouSomeoneWhoCanDoBoth,” Cyrus captioned the post.
We’re glad that no matter what 2019 brings—or what major life changes take place—Miley will never stop being Miley.
Back in October, supermodel Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner pulled off a private wedding (on a Thursday!) in upstate New York. It was so under wraps that everyone slept on it until Kloss shared a photo of the ceremony on social media.
Now, the couple is giving the world a peek at their amazing honeymoon in South Africa—and giving us all vacation envy in the process. Kloss captioned a photo of the two looking happy and relaxed with the simple emojis ‘??.’ The model also posted photos of some of the area’s wildlife, including an elephant, a lion, and giraffes—or as the very tall Kloss put it, “my tribe.”
Kushner is the younger brother of Jared Kushner and brother-in-law of Ivanka Trump, who has referred to Kloss as her “sister.” But Kloss says that her now-husband shares her “liberal values,” despite family ties to the Trump administration.
“Josh and I share a lot of the same liberal values that guide our lives and the things we stand for,” she said in a recent interview with Vogue. “We’ve really grown together personally and professionally. Josh knows that I’m just a nerdy, curious human being. I think that’s why he loves me. We have each other’s back.”

The couple began dating back in 2012 and got engaged over the summer. “The proposal was romantic and sweet,” Kloss toldVogue. ”We spent the weekend in upstate New York, just the two of us.”
“I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate,” she wrote on Instagram after the engagement. “I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over ?”
That’s not happening quite yet, though. Why? A very un-sexy reason: work obligations. The newlyweds made their first official public appearance as a married couple at the India launch of the app Bumble in New Delhi. Chopra, who joined the company as an investor and advisor this fall, said that the date for the launch was set before her wedding—and she didn’t want to miss the important event.

“My work and Nick’s work are very important to us,” she told India’s NDTV. “My commitments matter to me a lot. My word is my bond. And we had decided to do this a long time ago before anyone was getting married and so I stuck to my commitment. But besides that it’s something I’m really excited about as well.”
OK, that makes sense. So where will they go once they are able to slip away? Chopra insists that even she doesn’t know, as the trip seems to be on Jonas to plan—not that they’d necessarily tell the world anyway. “I have no idea,” she said. “Right now, I have just work commitments this whole month … And I don’t know. We still haven’t figured out where. I think it’s going to be a surprise though. I think that’s what my husband’s planning.”
But Chopra also offered some good advice for other newlyweds. “I would just tell brides out there, whatever your priority is, is right. It doesn’t matter if your priority is work, that’s right,” she said. “If your priority is honeymoon, that’s right. If your priority is doing nothing, that’s right too. Because as newlyweds, it’s really your turn. You get to do whatever you want. And with us, these are the choices we took that work for us.”
The Big Bang Theory kicked off its final season Monday night, September 24, with Amy and Sheldon’s honeymoon to Legoland and New York City. From Lego-crafted eggs and bacon to Harry Potter robes and wands, the experience should have been a dream come true for the newlyweds. Instead, it was…not that.
It started off well, though. The episode—titled “The Conjugal Configuration”—immediately catered to Shamy fans by having Sheldon wake up his new bride and sweetly calling her his wife. (If it’s still oddly surreal to see Sheldon wear a wedding ring, join the club.) We find out the two have consummated their marriage in a hotel suite overlooking the Legoland entrance, and Sheldon has ordered room service made out of Legos. It’s beautiful—until it all goes south.
The next day, Sheldon and Amy check into a new hotel in New York City, where they’re seeing a stage production of Harry Potter and getting a tour of Nikola Tesla’s old stomping grounds. Sheldon tells the bellman they’ll be very busy exploring the city and having coitus, which rubs Amy the wrong way. Shockingly, Amy’s frustration has less to do with Sheldon being so public about their private life and more to do with the fact that he wants to have sex again. “Really, Sheldon, you want to do it again?!” she asks. “Don’t act surprised,” he replies. “It’s on the schedule!”
Later, Amy’s annoyed with Sheldon again after he makes a scene during the play by yelling safety measures from the audience. And when they return to the hotel, Sheldon suggests they engage in coitus. “It’s a bit late,” he says, “but I did block out the rest of the evening for conjugal relations.” Amy is tired and asks to reschedule, but that doesn’t fit with Sheldon’s itinerary. If they don’t have sex tonight, he says, he hasn’t scheduled it again until Thursday at 6. “And that will have to be no frills, because we have a 6:30 reservation at Benihana.”
Of course, Amy shouldn’t do anything physical she doesn’t want to do or be a puppet to her husband’s love-making schedule. But in the past, Sheldon’s been receptive to Amy when she voices her frustration. This time, though, instead of explaining why spontaneity is important to her, she quips, “Would it be so bad to mix it up?” Sheldon is floored by this. “Mix it up?! Who are you? Betty Crocker?” He leaves to take a shower, while Amy feels disappointed and defeated.

The next day, during the Testla tour, Amy’s still upset. Sheldon can tell she’s testy, but Amy claims she’s not. So, Sheldon deduces she must be sexually frustrated. “If you abided by my coital schedule, your brain would be floating on a cloud of oxytocin right now,” he says. This sends Amy over the edge. She tells him she’s walking away, while he’s got the look of a deer in headlights. “I’m only recently married,” he tells the group of Tesla fanatics. “Do I stay here or do I follow? Say something useful.”
When Sheldon eventually finds Amy, he’s able to do what the couple should have done 24 hours earlier: communicate how he’s feeling. “You realize I’m not a particularly physical person,” he says. “I want to be a good husband to you, and intimacy is a part of that. I’m just worried if I don’t schedule our bedroom endeavors, I may not think about them, and you will grow cold and distant and seek solace in the arms of a heavily muscled longshoreman.”
Amy tells Sheldon she could never be with anybody but him; it’s OK if he wants to make all the schedules in the world, but maybe he just shouldn’t tell her about them. Sheldon agrees and says he’ll create an algorithm that will generate a pseudo-random schedule. “Do you know why it won’t be a true random schedule?” Sheldon asks. “Because the generation of true random numbers remains an unsolved problem in computer science,” Amy replies.
Of course, it’s Amy’s mathematical/scientific brilliance that turns Sheldon on—and this makes him want to have spontaneous sex. “Where are we going?” she asks when he pulls her away from a park bench. “To the hotel room,” he responds. “And when we get there, I’m going to need you to say that to me again, except naked.”
