Madison Prewett Says She ‘Never Cried Harder in Her Life’ Than After Her Confrontation With Barb Weber

On April 21, news broke that Madison Prewett revealed Bachelor Peter Weber asked her to get back together just days before he was spotted with ex-contestant Kelley Flanagan. Obviously, this was a huge bombshell.

“He was, like, calling me and texting me being like, ‘I miss you, let’s get back together,’” Prewett told Kaitlyn Bristowe on her Off the Vine podcast, according to Us Weekly. “I mean, I think that to me was a little confusing, but I think, like, when you break up and you’re going through a heartbreak and you just came off a show that was emotionally, physically, and [every] which way exhausting, everybody handles that differently. Everybody leans on different things.” She added that it felt like a personal jab when the photos of Weber and Flanagan came out on her birthday.

Weber swiftly replied to Prewett’s comments. “You’d think you’d have a little more respect for this situation given we both know there’s more to the story,” Weber wrote in an Instagram comment, tagging Prewett.

This isn’t the only controversial Bachelor moment Prewett touched on during her interview with Bristowe. She also had a lot to say about the infamous showdown between her and Weber’s mom, Barb, during the “After the Final Rose” special. The couple, as you know, broke up just days later after a “super sad” six-hour conversation.

Now Prewett is finally ready to talk about how she felt in that moment during the live show with Barb. “I wish that I would have just apologized and been apologetic in that moment,” Prewett admitted to Bristowe, per Us Weekly. “I think I was so taken back and I was so hurt by the things that were being said to me in this time that was so beautiful for me and Peter.”

Prewett added that they had “overcome so much” and were “trying to fight so hard” for their relationship at the time. “For that opportunity to kind of be taken from the both of us…for that to be the ending of the season, I mean, I walked off that stage and I had never cried harder in my life,” she said.

Who knows if we’ll hear from Barb about all this in the days to come, but I hope the group can finally put this all behind them.

Emilia Clarke Cried When She Read the Game of Thrones Series Finale Script

Warning: Major Game of Thrones spoilers ahead.

Tonight’s series finale of Game of Thrones was surprising, to say the least. In a shocking turn of events, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) killed Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and was sentenced to rejoin the Night’s Watch. Also, the heads of Westeros appointed Bran Stark as king, and Sansa broke the North from the seven (now six) kingdoms to become queen in the North. The reactions to this finale have been mixed, but no one is more impassioned about it than Emilia Clarke, a.k.a. Dany.

“I cried,” Clarke told Entertainment Weekly about what it was like when she read the script for the first time. “And I went for a walk. I walked out of the house and took my keys and phone and walked back with blisters on my feet. I didn’t come back for five hours. I’m like, ‘How am I going to do this?’”

Interestingly, Kit Harington didn’t read the script until the cast’s final table read. Clarke was on a flight with Harington before this read-through and had a very hard time revealing spoilers. When he actually found out what happened, though, his reaction was not good.

HBO

“I looked at Emilia and there was a moment of me realizing, ‘No, no…’” Harington said, according to EW.

Clarke, however, nodded back, “Yes… He was crying,” she recalls. “And then it was kind of great him not having read it.”

Dany’s journey throughout the final season of GoT has been intense. Clarke summed it up perfectly in this quote she gave to EW:

“She genuinely starts with the best intentions and truly hopes there
isn’t going to be something scuttling her greatest plans. The problem
is [the Starks] don’t like her and she sees it. She goes, ‘Okay, one
chance.’ She gives them that chance and it doesn’t work and she’s too
far to turn around. She’s made her bed, she’s laying in it. It’s done.
And that’s the thing. I don’t think she realizes until it happens —
the real effect of their reactions on her is: ‘I don’t give a s—t.’
This is my whole existence. Since birth! She literally was brought
into this world going, ‘Run!’ These fuckers have fucked everything up,
and now it’s, ‘You’re our only hope.’ There’s so much she’s taken on
in her duty in life to rectify, so much she’s seen and witnessed and
been through and lost and suffered and hurt. Suddenly these people are
turning around and saying, ‘We don’t accept you.’ But she’s too far
down the line. She’s killed so many people already. I can’t turn this
ship around. It’s too much. One by one, you see all these strings
being cut. And there’s just this last thread she’s holding onto:
There’s this boy. And she thinks, ‘He loves me, and I think that’s
enough.’ But is it enough? Is it? And it’s just that hope and wishing
that finally there is someone who accepts her for everything she is
and … he fucking doesn’t.”

It’s only a matter of time before the theories on this Game of Thrones finale start rolling in. As always, we’ll keep you posted.

Pete Davidson Says He Cried With His Mom After Splitting With Ariana Grande

During a standup performance in Boston on New Year’s Eve, Pete Davidson revealed that he cried with his mother after splitting up with Ariana Grande.

This story comes from Us Weekly, which reports that the SNL comedian made several jokes about his short-lived relationship with Grande during his set. “It made me see how ugly people can get, and how cool people can be,” Davidson said, according to the publication.

Davidson and Grande started dating publicly in summer 2018 and quickly got engaged. Things took a turn, though, in October when the couple revealed they were breaking up. One month after this, Grande released her smash-hit single “Thank U, Next,” which name-checks several of her ex-boyfriends, including Davidson. He mentioned the song during his NYE standup set, joking that Grande was a “diabolical genius” for literally naming the men in her song.

“Thank U, Next” infamously debuted on Saturday, November 3, just 30 minutes before Davidson had to perform on SNL. Davidson told his friends at the time, “We all have to listen to this song and you all have to look at me. It’s gonna be rough.”

In early December, Davidson opened up about the bullying he’s experienced both online and off over his relationship with Grande.

“I’ve kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything. I’m trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference,” he posted to Instagram. “Especially in today’s climate where everyone loves to be offended and upset, it truly is mind boggling.”

Gisele Bündchen Cried Before Her First Major Runway Show—and It Wasn't Out of Happiness

Gisele Bündchen has walked down 600-plus runways throughout her 20-year career as a model. But in her new memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, she reveals that her first major fashion show was far from a positive experience. In fact, she broke down crying before stepping on the runway.

Bündchen recalls being set to appear in an Alexander McQueen show in 1998—her first ever international gig, according to Cosmopolitan—and “couldn’t believe” that she had been chosen. But that excitement would melt away when she saw her look for the first time, the day of: a skirt—and nothing else.

“Where’s the top?” Bündchen remembers asking someone, who informed her that there wasn’t one. The model then started to cry, as she was afraid that coming down the runway topless would disappoint her family. “I was a good girl. I was a tomboy. I was someone whose big breasts had embarrassed her since she’d hit puberty,” she writes, per Cosmopolitan. “I was a girl gripped by the fear that my family would feel so embarrassed they would never speak to me again. I was terrified.”

Thankfully, someone backstage had her back: “As soon as Val, the makeup artist, saw the situation, she said she would paint a top on me using white makeup… Val told me how beautiful it looked and said that the runway was so dark nobody would know,” Bündchen recalls. Because the show took place in the rain, “no one could tell what was rain and what was tears.”

Bündchen writes that her family never saw the photos from the show. And according to Cosmopolitan, she credits that Alexander McQueen show as one of the most important jumping-off points of her career. Still, she’s not the only model to speak out about the pressure of going topless, especially when you’re starting out: Kate Moss recently opened up about a similar experience at a photoshoot, saying, “There was pressure… I worked with a woman photographer called Corinne Day, and she always liked me with no top on. And I did not like it at all when I first started.”

In the wake of the #MeToo, the fashion industry has been taking steps to protect models in these types of situations, through programs and even legislation, to give support and offer them resources.

Priyanka Chopra Just Hinted That Meghan Markle Cried When She Found Her Wedding Dress

After months of playing coy, Priyanka Chopra finally confirmed last week that she will, indeed, be attending her friend Meghan Markle‘s fast-approaching wedding to Prince Harry.

And now that the floodgates have been opened, the Quantico actress is spilling all kinds of royal wedding tea. On Thursday, May 3 Chopra appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen asked her a few questions about Meghan, Harry, and their upcoming nuptials. When Chopra wasn’t able to answer a question, Cohen did his best to interpret her facial expressions and, in the process, uncovered a few secrets about the royal lovebirds.

The questions that Chopra was able to answer included whether she’d ever met Prince Harry (nope); if she, like Markle, likes “a ginge” (“Red hair is kinda my thing,” Chopra said); and if she’d bought a wedding present (not yet). Much more telling were the questions she couldn’t answer. When Cohen asked if Markle is “a bridezilla,” Chopra did an exaggerated shrug and raised her hands, which Cohen interpreted as a diplomatic no. Cohen then asked Chopra if the Suits actress had cried when she said yes to her wedding dress. In a pretty easy-to-understand nonverbal response, Chopra burst into a huge grin, covered her face in her hands, and broke into a silent fit of giggles. Like the rest of us, Cohen took that to mean a resounding yes, making Markle even more relatable.

What exactly that dress looks like, though, is still a mystery and will likely remain one to us and Prince Harry until the big day. So far Victoria Beckham and Vera Wang have denied rumors that they will be designing the dress, but that’s all the info we know.

At the end of April, Chopra, who met Markle at Elle‘s Women in Television event in 2016, finally admitted that she’ll be in London to celebrate her friend’s wedding come May 19, but added that she still has yet to choose an outfit. “I sort of may have an idea,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “But no, I haven’t picked one out yet.” This week Chopra went on to reveal that she and Markle have kept in touch since the soon-to-be duchess moved from Toronto to London. “She still texts a lot, which is great,” Chopra said on Rachael Ray’s talk show on Wednesday, adding, “I think she has a phone. She really is a [normal girl].”

Kit Harington Cried Reading the Last 'Game of Thrones' Script

For Game of Thrones fans, anticipation over the impending eighth and final season is enough to turn stomachs into knots. For eight years—almost a decade!—we’ve been following the clashing kingdoms of Westeros, worshipping Khaleesi‘s relentless queenly fierceness (and icy winter fashion, and platinum waves), and falling a tiny bit in love with IKEA-rug-wearing Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington. Apparently, Harington’s loved being on the show as much as we’ve loved watching him it, and he’s quite torn up about how it all ends.

“I’m really emotional about it. We had the read-through last week, so I know everything,” he told “The One Show” this week. “I cried at the end—not over anything particular that happened—but it’s been eight years, and no one cares about it more than we do.”

“It’s been an institution longer than any other institution I’ve been in,” he-of-the-perfectly-wavy-hair-even-in-blizzards continued. “School, drama school, anything. I get a bit weepy thinking about it. It’s going to be a strange year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person. Not only you’re attached to it, loads of people around the world are attached to it.”

(Well, not everyone: he won’t be saying goodbye to fiancée Rose Leslie, who played his former love Ygritte on the show. Ah, Game of Thrones, you work in wonderful ways.)

According to a Guardian profile about Harington published on Saturday, Jon Snow was a role he auditioned for shortly after drama school—so there’s no doubt that this is a hard one to walk away from (though the show didn’t actually kick off for another four years after he tried out).

Sigh. All good things must come to an end, but are we sure there’s no hope for an encore season??
