Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Had the Most Awkward Kiss Cam Moment at a Basketball Game


Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West attended the NBA All-Star game on Sunday (February 16) and had a slightly awkward moment on the jumbotron. When cameras pointed to Kim in the audience, she smiled and blew a kiss—looking as chic as ever—but then things turned hilariously cringe-y when she went to kiss Kanye. The rapper clearly didn’t notice Kim was going in for a smooch because he just sat next to her, totally expression-less. It’s truly so, so good.

Of course, you shouldn’t read too much into this. It’s clear Kanye wasn’t aware Kim was trying to kiss him. If he was, things probably would’ve panned out differently. Some fans pointed out that, despite being such an open couple, Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West don’t really do much PDA in the traditional sense.

“I don’t think he was paying attention lol y’all make something out of anything,” one person tweeted. Another wrote, “He’s obsessed with her. I’m sure he wasn’t paying attention lol.”

Kim’s had a string of viral moments lately. Earlier in February, the internet went bananas over her children’s playroom, which includes a mini-supermarket and concert stage.

“You guys always say my house is so minimal—well, you guys haven’t seen my playroom,” she said on Instagram Story before giving a tour of the space. And in January, people were just as infatuated with Kim’s fridge, which is walk-in. “I saw a bunch of comments from people wondering what I feed my four children,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories caption. “And since you guys are dying to know, here a little peak [sic] inside our main fridge filled with lots of fruits and veggies!”

It’s only a matter of time before the next viral Kardashian moment comes rolling in.

This Awkward Dakota Johnson and Ellen DeGeneres Interview Will Keep You Up at Night


Most people know Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele from Fifty Shades of Grey, but I know her as “celebrity who gives the most iconic interviews on talk shows.” Seriously, if you haven’t gone down a Dakota Johnson interview hole, then I strongly suggest you do. She is refreshingly unfiltered with a dry, almost awkward sense of humor. Look at this clip from The Tonight Show—when she shut down Jimmy Fallon for not letting her talk—or her acceptance speech from the 2016 People’s Choice Awards as proof. (Before getting to the microphone she had a slight wardrobe malfunction and said, “It’s not like nobody here hasn’t already seen my boobs.”)

The latest example of Johnson’s quick wit happened last week during her interview on The Ellen Show. Host Ellen DeGeneres claimed Johnson didn’t invite her to her birthday party in early October—which Johnson countered in a cheeky, deadpan tone.

“Actually, no. That’s not the truth, Ellen. You were invited,” Johnson said. “Last time I was on the show, last year, you gave me a bunch of shit about not inviting you, but I didn’t even know you wanted to be invited.”

“Who doesn’t want to be invited to a party?” DeGeneres asked, to which Johnson said, “Well, I didn’t even know you liked me.”

“Of course, I like you! You know I like you! You’ve been on the show many times,” DeGeneres replied.

But Johnson contests that she did invite DeGeneres to her party. Their exchange gets even more hilariously awkward from there, with DeGeneres ultimately realizing she was out of town the weekend of Johnson’s birthday. (A few people have pointed out Johnson’s party was the same weekend DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were photographed at a football game in Dallas with former president George W. Bush.)

Twitter is having an absolute field day with this—though it’s important to note there probably wasn’t any actual tension between Johnson and DeGeneres, as some have suggested. This was clearly just a funny miscommunication between two celebs, and Johnson’s sense of humor just gave off the illusion of awkwardness. Nevertheless, the reactions are gold.

One thing is for sure: You can count on Ellen DeGeneres attending Dakota Johnson’s birthday party next year.

Khloé Kardashian's Response to Tristan Thompson Saying 'I Love You' Is So Awkward


Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have been estranged ever since earlier this year, when news broke that he and Kylie Jenner‘s best friend, Jordyn Woods, kissed at a party. The two of them play nice for the sake of their daughter, True, but they very much are not a couple right now. Remember in April, when that video of Kardashian ignoring Thompson at True’s first birthday party went viral? That about sums up their relationship status.

But something happened on this week’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians that’s even more awkward. In one scene, we see Kardashian FaceTiming True and Thompson from Connecticut. When Thompson ends the conversation by saying, “I love you,” Kardashian’s response is a bit tense. All she says is “Thank you.”

The reply is so icy, in fact, that Kardashian’s friend Malika Haqq calls her out for it. “I love you. ‘Thank you,'” she says in the clip, laughing.

“I don’t know what to say,” Kardashian says. “I just think now, I’ve already seen how this ride goes, and I don’t enjoy it. Why would I want to do it for a third time?”

Khloé Kardashian has been quite open with her followers and fans about the Tristan Thompson-Jordyn Woods situation. “This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time,” she tweeted shortly after the incident happened.

The reality star continued, “What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”

There’s a Very Awkward Fact You Don’t Know About Emilia Clarke’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Sex Scenes


Game of Thrones is famous for many things: surprise beheadings, complex political machinations, dragons, and, yes, sex scenes. Over the course of the past eight seasons, there have been a lot of them—many involving actress Emilia Clarke, who plays the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.

Honestly, I can’t even imagine filming something so intimate in front of a crew of people. But Clarke revealed last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live that there was another factor that made her feel even more awkward than usual: Her brother works in the camera department on the show. Most of the time, Clarke says it’s “brilliant” to have family around, but not so much when it came time to shoot her sex scenes with Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow.

“Yeah, there’s some days when he’s like, ‘Oh, I’ll swing by’ and I’m like, ‘No, it’s good! You can stay there,'” Clarke says. When Kimmel asked who would be more embarrassed in that situation, Clarke emphatically answers, “Definitely him.” Oof. Luckily, it seems she was able to keep him away on those days.

The actress also revealed she “felt a little weird” when it came time for Harington to ride a dragon, but that he was sure he could do it easily. “He was kind of arrogant about it,” she says. “But that’s when I learned that men riding dragons is like a whole other thing than a lady who rides a dragon. [It’s] a little more uncomfortable for them.” To this, Kimmel responded, “Because of the human testicles,” which, fair point.

This Video of Khloé Kardashian Ignoring Tristan Thompson at True's Birthday Is So Awkward


Khloé Kardashian threw her daughter, True, an epic first birthday party over the weekend. The pastel-colored bash was extravagant, to say the least—filled with balloons, cotton candy vendors, butterfly decorations, and actual ponies (dressed as unicorns, of course).

But the moment getting everyone’s attention isn’t exactly a happy one. True’s father and Kardashian’s estranged boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, attended the party as well, and in one Snapchat post it appears she completely gives him the cold shoulder.

It happened while Kardashian was posing for a video selfie with True. Thompson attempts to cut in, but Kardashian doesn’t speak to him or even look in his direction. Instead, she just walks away and starts talking to someone else at the party.

It’s unclear if this is the first time Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have seen each other since the cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods broke in February. (Click here for a refresh on that ordeal.)

To play devil’s advocate, this is a brief snippet from what looked like an hours-long party. We can’t really deduce anything about Kardashian and Thompson’s relationship from a 30-second video. And this moment aside, everyone seemed to be in great spirits the whole day. Thompson eventually got his video with True:

“My princess❤️❤️ I love you soo much,” the NBA star posted to his Instagram.

Kardashian also published a tribute on her IG. “Happy birthday my sweet True,” she wrote. “You are my ultimate True love! I am honored and so thankful to be your mommy! Today and until the end of time, I love you!! We have forever.”

The Good American designer hasn’t directly said much about the situation involving Woods and Thompson, but in early March she tweeted, “This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). Kim Kardashian's First Face-to-Face Interaction With Tristan Thompson Post-Cheating Was So Awkward


In a new clip teasing Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we see Kim Kardashian‘s first interaction with Tristan Thompson after his cheating scandal happened—and it’s very awkward.

To be fair, it’s not debilitatingly awkward. In fact, Kim even says in the video that she’s keeping her anger contained to be supportive of Khloé through her birth. (If you forget, news of Tristan cheating on Khloé broke just days before she gave birth.) That being said, it’s still uncomfortable to watch.

It all went down in Khloés delivery room at a Cleveland, Ohio hospital. Kim, Kourtney, and Kris arrived just in the nick of time for Khloé’s birth, meanwhile Tristan had been there for a little longer. When Kim walks past Tristan to use the bathroom, she can’t help but make shady, hilarious faces behind his back.

“Are you gonna say hi to each other or no?” Khloé asks Kim, causing her to give Tristan a terse and icy embrace. “Hi,” Kim says, plastering on a fake smile.

“The vibe in the room is calm,” Kim says. “I thought there would be way more tension. As much as I want to go off, I just don’t think it’s the time. So I’m gonna keep it cute. I don’t have to have a lot of interaction. I just have to be there for [Khloé].”

However, Kim didn’t mince words about Tristan when she appeared on the Ellen show shortly after Khloé welcomed her daughter, True. “I don’t even know how to describe it besides it’s just so fucked up,” she said. “We really were rooting for Khloé—and we still are. She’s so strong, and she’s doing the best that she can.”
