Camila Cabello Just Teased New Music Fans Think Is Inspired by Shawn Mendes


Camila Cabello released a new video titled “What Do I Know About Love?” on Saturday, August 31, in which she delivers a moving and deeply poetic speech about the nature of love and what it means to her. The cryptic video led fans to believe new music is on the way—and that Shawn Mendes is the inspiration behind her new album.

“Where does the love go when it runs out? When does it leave? Why does it die,” she asks in the beginning of the clip. “Do you kill it in one violent blow? Or is it a million unattended, unhealed little cuts and scratches?”

Seconds later, Cabello says, “What do I know about love? Everything. It will bring you to your knees—if you did it right. What I know for sure about love is that you never come out of it the same.”

The “Havana” singer, who has been teasing that her second solo album will be inspired by her life and experiences, then goes on to describe what, for her, it feels to be in love with someone.

“I know when you fall in love, you feel like you’re the first and only two people in the world,” Cabello continues. “Every kiss, every touch, every caress is like something you feel nobody has ever felt before. And you think, has everybody that’s ever fallen in love before just walked around this nonchalantly the whole time?”

“What I know for sure is falling in love with life itself makes an artist out of everyone,” she adds. “I thought I was making art before. Writing songs was me making art, but now I want my life to be the work of art and my songwriting to be the camera that I take a picture of it with. It’s what I’m living. That’s the art.”

Cabello’s cryptic video comes after the end of her two-year relationship with ex Matthew Hussey and amid a rumored romance with Mendes. Following the breakup and the release of their music video for”Señorita,” she and the Canadian singer have been spotting kissing and holding hands in public on multiple occasions. The two also delivered a steamy performance during the 2019 MTV VMAs just last week.

Despite spending all summer together, Cabello and Mendes have yet to confirm their relationship. This hasn’t stopped fans from coming up with their own conclusions about what this cryptic video means, though.

Justin Bieber Just Teased That Hailey Baldwin Might Be Pregnant


It’s April Fool’s Day and you’re undoubtedly stressed, so I’m gonna cut right to the chase: Justin Bieber might’ve just revealed Hailey Baldwin is pregnant. And you thought this day couldn’t get any more overwhelming….

Before you have a full-blown meltdown, let me just remind you that it is April 1, so Bieber’s announcement could very well be a joke. Which isn’t funny, by the way: More than 6 million women in the U.S. struggle with fertility, so staging a fake pregnancy stunt is a bit problematic.

That might be exactly what we have on our hands, though. So here’s what happened: On Monday afternoon Bieber posted a photo of a sonogram with no caption. Soon after, Baldwin commented, “Very funny…,” which implies this is all some kind of prank. (Also, the sonogram photo is a fake. We found the original.)

But here’s where things get confusing: Bieber then posted a second photo of Baldwin at the doctor’s office, hand on her stomach, with the caption, “If U thought it was April fools.” So what is the truth? Is Baldwin pregnant? Is Bieber just messing with us? Based on how casual these posts are, I’m thinking it’s the latter.

Regardless, fans on the Internet are (naturally) bewildered and confused. “APRIL FOOLS U GOT ME!! wait, unless ur serious and ur gonna be a dad,” one person wrote, while another commented, “Wow. So good. Huge congratulations to you both.” A third person posted, “Still not convinced tho,” and that about sums up my mood on this whole ordeal.

Ariana Grande Already Teased Her Next Single in the 'Thank U, Next' Video


To say that Ariana Grande‘s “Thank U, Next” has become the song of 2018 would be an understatement. The single was released without a formal announcement following Grande’s sudden breakup with SNL cast member Pete Davidson—and it promptly became an overnight hit. Then, on Friday, the singer gave the world her music video for the single, which has racked up more than 75 million YouTube views in 48 hours.

But Grande’s a busy woman, and you can’t expect her to rest on these latest laurels for long. She confirmed on Saturday to a Twitter fan that she has a whole new album on the way—and that there’s a hidden reference to one of its upcoming singles tucked right in plain sight in the “Thank U, Next” video. Best of all? It honors her best friends.

It started when a fan asked, “Was the instrumental in the beginning really 7 rings? Cause it SLAPS.” “Seven Rings” is reportedly the name of her next single (or one of them), and the beginning of the “Thank U, Next” does sound a lot like what’s rumored to be a clip of “Seven Rings”. Grande confirmed in her response: “mhmm.”

“So is the album like done DONE,” one fan followed up.

“yes but i keep writing things i want to add,” replied Grande.

And that’s when a fan asked a critical question about the origin of “Seven Rings”: “can u let us know who has the 7 rings?”

“me, vic, courtney, alexa, tayla, njomza, kaydence (and my mom and nonna so technically nine but they got theirs after song was done),” Grande responded.

So, uh, how did everyone get them? One fan decided to ask:

“well…………. twas a pretty rough day in nyc,” the singer replied. “My friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings. ? it was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like ‘bitch, this gotta be a song lol’. so we wrote it that afternoon.”

It’s so great Grande’s best friends have had her back during these past few weeks—and the hidden tribute to these supportive women in a song about her exes? Brilliant.

Kim Kardashian Just Teased the First KKW Eyeshadow Palette


The time has come. After Kim Kardashian eased into makeup with her logical first stop in contour products, and then detoured into fragrance and glitter for some Insta-porn, she’s at long last coming for eyeshadow. Understandably, Instagram is amped for the shot Kardashian just teased of KKW Beauty’s upcoming shadow palette, especially because she’s collaborating with her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic on the release.

While this isn’t Kardashian’s first ever eyeshadow palette—RIP Khroma, gone but not forgotten—it is big that Dedivanovic’s involved. The two have been working together for a decade, and the role that Dedivanovic’s played in Kardashian’s meteoric rise can’t be overstated. The two of them architected her entire look, so when Dedivanovic released a palette for Anastasia Beverly Hills in 2016, it sold out immediately. Fans raved about the palette, with its mix of mattes and shimmers in soft and sultry brown, golden, taupe and jewel-toned shades. It could go day, it could go night, and no one could get their hands on it because it was gone in an instant.

Given that precedent, fans are freaking out about Dedivanovic and Kardashian pairing up. The teaser photo doesn’t show much, since Kardashian opted for the standard black-and-white filtered teaser shot. From the photo, it looks like we’ll again see a mix of mattes and shimmers, in hues including pale highlight shades, a few transitional colors, and a dark-end color for drama. Dedivanovic and Kardashian have recently been favoring gold, glossy nudes, and rosy plum shadow looks, so hints could lie there.

The palette’s clearly still in the works, so that’s all we know at the moment. But if the fervor’s anything like the one that met Dedivanovic’s ABH palette, keep your eyes peeled for updates. Stock likely won’t last long.

Chrissy Metz Low-Key Teased LOFT's First Plus-Sized Clothing Collection


Few actresses have been as vocal about plus-sized inclusion in fashion as This Is Us star Chrissy Metz. She recently gave a heartfelt keynote address at Curvy Con asking for more—and better—clothing options in larger sizes. And, judging from the outfit she wore during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night, it seems like some retailers are listening to her.

The actress visited the late-night talk show host wearing a black long-sleeved, polka-dot dress not unlike the wrap styles we’ve seen cropping up all over Instagram this year. But more than simply being on-trend, Metz’s dress signaled the launch of plus-sized clothing by none other than LOFT. In case there were any lingering doubts about this announcement, the This Is Us star basically confirmed the news by tagging the brand in her pre-show selfie on Instagram.

LOFT’s inaugural plus-sized assortment will debut in February, for Spring 2018, a representative for the brand confirmed to Glamour. Its foray into more inclusive sizing was announced by Gary Muto, the President and CEO of Ascena Brands (which owns LOFT, as well as Lou & Grey, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, and Dressbarn) on an earnings call yesterday. Though, LOFT began dabbling in plus-sized fashion earlier this month, when it launched its capsule collection with Gwynnie Bee.

While we’ve seen an ultra-chic collaborations as of late, such as Gabi Gregg’s lingerie collection with Playful Promises and Katie Sturino’s capsule for Eloquii, retailers that are truly size inclusive are still few and far between. That’s why we’re beyond excited about this LOFT collection: By adding plus to a lineup that already includes petite and tall sizes, the brand is well on its way to true inclusivity.

Shoppers may have to check back next year to buy Metz’s exact dress, but we have a feeling LOFT’s first-ever plus-sized collection will be worth the wait.
