Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have, as of Sunday, arrived in Paris for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ upcoming second wedding—which, while the exact date and location is still unknown, was most recently rumored to be set for the end of June in France. And, well, it’s the end of June, and everyone’s in France! Besides, the fact that the “J Sisters” are taking time from their busy schedules in another corner of the world seems to indicate that something special is going to happen.
Priyanka and Nick were spotted taking a stroll in Paris on Sunday afternoon, according to Entertainment Online, although Sophie and Joe were nowhere to be seen. But they aren’t the only celebrities who have arrived in Paris for the upcoming festivities: Wilmer Valderrama, who’s friends with Joe, posted on his ‘gram that he was in Paris too.
Later on Sunday, Joe, Sophie, Wilmer and two other friends were caught on film by this lucky bystander as they left a building in the city.
But the J Sisters didn’t spent the whole day apart—they got together with Nick, Joe, Wilmer, and others in the group for dinner later Sunday evening.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas surprised us once with that wedding in Las Vegas, but they’re not going to surprise us twice. Well, at least not if we can help it. The couple are reportedly going to get married again in France, and although they’re keeping the exact date under wraps, all Instagram Story signs point to them being on location (or nearing location) in Paris and having a pretty romantic time, leading some to speculate that the wedding is pretty imminent.
We’ve known since a December leak that the couple was planning to get married in France this summer, but we haven’t heard a ton of details so far (other than that there’s apparently going to be plenty of Coors Light on hand, which, OK). Recently, Us Weeklyreported that the two were going to get married in late June, and wouldn’t you know, here we are in late June.
And fine, skeptics, yes, it’s Paris Men’s Fashion Week, which Jonas has been photographed attending as of yesterday. So could it be for work? Sure.

But doesn’t it just make sense to get hitched once the runway shows wrap? I mean, they’re already there and everything—and it is the end of June, as hinted.

What bachelorette weekend is complete without McDonald’s on a private plane? “We can’t have nice things,” one of Turner’s friends wrote. “The entire plane spilled their McDonald’s & drinks on take off. Bless that flight attendant’s heart.”
Honestly, this looks like a perfect weekend, though there were two important people missing—the other two “J Sisters”, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas. Chopra and Turner famously celebrated in Amsterdam ahead of Chopra’s wedding to Nick Jonas, but the actress appears to be hard at work in India, causing her to miss out on the festivities in Spain.
We’re sure they’ll all be reunited for that big second wedding this summer. Us Weekly reports that it’s going to be quite the bash. “Joe and Sophie want to have a huge party,” a source told the magazine. “The decor is going to be sophisticated, but there’ll be some kitschy elements, including a really wild cake. There’ll be a live band, and the Jonas Brothers are expected to take the stage.”
Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have a very public best-friendship, which is understandable considering they’ve spent the past eight years playing sisters on Game of Thrones—a.k.a. all of their adult lives. (Turner is 23; Williams is 22.) They’ve shared a Rolling Stone cover, coordinated wedding guest outfits and Halloween costumes, and hashtagged their ‘grams with “Mophie,” their couple’s nickname. But it hasn’t been all sunshine and roses: Turner opened up in April about how her friendship with Williams could turn “destructive,” explaining how, as their friendship grew stronger, the two had a habit of shutting others out and isolating themselves. Ups and downs are normal in any friendship, of course, but Turner and Williams aren’t exactly your average pair of friends—they’ve grown up together in the spotlight. And they’re not just learning from their experiences to build a healthier friendship: Williams and Turner want to make a movie out of them. And honestly? Consider our tickets bought.
In a new Vogue Paris video, Turner has a conversation over dinner with her friend, actress Jessica Chastain, where she talks about what she wants to do in the future: produce and direct.
“As an actor, you can only have so much creative control,” Turner tells Chastain. “I want to be able to have full creative control and create my own vision, and that’s something I’m quite passionate about.”
The Game of Thrones star then explains that she wants to work with Williams in the future on a pretty cool project: a movie about their friendship.
“My best friend Maisie—who’s on Game of Thrones with me, who plays Arya—she and I have a very intense friendship, a friendship that I haven’t had with any of my other girlfriends before,” Turner said. “We felt like we wanted to write a movie about a friendship where it’s kind of like you’re soulmates, but you’re friends, and it’s like this beautiful connection, but it can also be quite destructive.”
Apparently the two haven’t quite started the project yet, but Turner’s getting ready: She tells Chastain she’s already bought a screenplay-writing book to teach herself the skill. We’ll definitely be keeping our ears out for further developments on this front, though.
The Jonas Brothers released their first album in over 10 years on Friday, June 7. Titled Happiness Begins, the record is chock-full of bops, including “Sucker,” which has found immense success on Billboard‘s Hot 100. But the album is also emotionally resonant, filled with lyrics about Kevin, Nick, and Joe‘s personal lives. All the brothers are happily married now, and that’s evident on a few of the songs—particularly “Hesitate” and “I Believe,” which contain love notes of sorts to Joe and Nick’s significant others, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra.
Let’s start with “Hesitate,” which is Joe’s ode to Sophie. “Kiss the tears right off your face,” Joe sings on the track. “Won’t get scared, that’s the old, old, old me. I’ll be there time and place. Lay it on me, all you’re hold, hold, holding.”
Joe is the emotional rock here, which tracks with some of the soundbites Turner has given about their relationship. “He was like, ‘I can’t be with you until you love yourself. I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself,'” she told the Sunday Times in May. “That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”
Genius
But Turner is Joe’s emotional rock, as well, as evidenced when he sings, “You saved me once, and now I’ll save you too.”
Sophie Turner just put one of the world’s biggest mysteries to rest: the coffee cup gaffe of Game of Thrones season eight.
Don’t know what I’m talking about? Let’s back up for a second. If you watched this season of GoT, then you most likely remember how snoozy episode four was. To be fair, it had a lot to live up to, seeing as how it directly followed Arya Stark killing the Night King. All this dead air, though, probably explains why fans chose not to focus on the plot and instead on a rogue coffee cup that somehow made it into one of the scenes. Here it is to jog your memory:
And a few Twitter reactions to remind you of the sheer pandemonium it caused:
So how the hell did this happen? Game of Thrones is a detailed, big-budget production, so the fact such an obvious mistake made it into a final episode cut is head-scratching. At first Turner blamed the incident on Emilia Clarke, joking to Jimmy Fallon, “Look who it’s placed in front of. Emilia Clarke. She’s the culprit.”
But now Turner’s changing her tune. She now posits that Kit Harington is the one responsible for coffee cup-gate. “I hear this every day of my life. This coffee cup thing,” Turner told Conan O’Brien in a interview on Conan Thursday night, June 6. “It’s good to know the coffee cup got more press than the final season altogether. The coffee cup was where Kit’s chair was. At first I blamed it on Emilia, but I don’t think Emilia would do that. Kit is lazy, and I think he would’ve done that. It was in front of Kit’s chair and then, obviously, he moved so this picture was taken and it looked like it was in my seat. But I wasn’t there, either. It was Kit. It was 100 percent Kit.”
