Nick and Joe Jonas Hid Love Notes to Priyanka and Sophie in the New Jonas Brothers Album

The Jonas Brothers released their first album in over 10 years on Friday, June 7. Titled Happiness Begins, the record is chock-full of bops, including “Sucker,” which has found immense success on Billboard‘s Hot 100. But the album is also emotionally resonant, filled with lyrics about Kevin, Nick, and Joe‘s personal lives. All the brothers are happily married now, and that’s evident on a few of the songs—particularly “Hesitate” and “I Believe,” which contain love notes of sorts to Joe and Nick’s significant others, Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra.

Let’s start with “Hesitate,” which is Joe’s ode to Sophie. “Kiss the tears right off your face,” Joe sings on the track. “Won’t get scared, that’s the old, old, old me. I’ll be there time and place. Lay it on me, all you’re hold, hold, holding.”

Joe is the emotional rock here, which tracks with some of the soundbites Turner has given about their relationship. “He was like, ‘I can’t be with you until you love yourself. I can’t see you love me more than you love yourself,'” she told the Sunday Times in May. “That was something, him doing that. I think he kind of saved my life, in a way.”

But Turner is Joe’s emotional rock, as well, as evidenced when he sings, “You saved me once, and now I’ll save you too.”

Taylor Swift Says She Hid the Title of Her New Album in Her 'ME!' Video

Taylor Swift drowned the Internet in a wave of butterflies and rainbows when she dropped her new video for”ME!,” featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco. The second it dropped, fans started analyzing every frame for potential clues about her upcoming music, and Swift just added fuel to the fire: She shared on Twitter that the video is actually hiding the name of her seventh album.

“So… the new album title is actually revealed somewhere in the video AND so is the title of the second single, but I haven’t seen people finding them yet…,” she wrote on Friday just hours after “ME!” dropped online. Swifties almost immediately started putting forth their theories, but she hasn’t confirmed any of them yet.

Lots of people have latched onto the word “Lover,” which appears in neon letters in the background of one scene. Some think the clue is too easy to be the album title and have instead hypothesized that “Lover” is the name of her next single. Others really dived into detective work and found a pair of teeny-tiny white letters at the bottom of a different scene; super-tight zooming suggests that they spell out the phrase “pattern design.”

“Taylor really had me working all my ocular muscles and almost ruining my retinas just so i can read ‘pattern design” im tired,’ one fan joked on Twitter.

But quite a few of the Swifities seem to think that the album name has more to do with the video’s over-the-top, Lisa Frank-esque swirl of colors, which sometimes look like they’re blending together kaleidoscope-style. There’s a part in the video where the lens turns into a heart-shaped kaleidoscope, and extra-diligent fans noted that the word “kaleidoscope” is also a term for a pack of butterflies (the more you know). Swift has been leaning on the butterfly theme pretty heavily, too: They’re all over this video, and she posed in front of a butterfly mural just before the song came out.

Everyone will have to wait to see if they were right, but there is one theory that Swift did confirm: Many believed that the video was a chance for her to introduce a new addition to her family. In one scene, Urie hands her a kitten.

Swift went on Instagram Friday and shared that she actually did get a new cat. “And then there were three…” she captioned a photo. This, at least, is proof that the theories Swifties come up with are sometimes exactly right.

Meghan Markle Hid a Secret Tribute to Prince Harry in Her Wedding Veil

By now, it feels like every tiny detail of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding has been covered. We know the foundation she wore, what the thank-you notes said, and that Harry picked flowers for the wedding bouquet himself. So it’s surprising that a new fact has emerged, one we somehow totally missed until now: There was a secret “something blue” sewn into Meghan’s wedding veil.

In a clip from HBO’s upcoming documentary Queen of the World, which you can see here, the Duchess of Sussex sees her wedding dress and veil for the first time since the royal wedding. “It’s amazing, isn’t it?” she says of the almost 16-and-a-half-foot veil, which was custom made by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller. “The work that they did here is just so beautiful.”

That’s when Meghan reveals there’s something more to the design. “Somewhere in here there’s a piece of blue fabric that’s stitched inside,” she says. “It was my something blue. It’s fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date.” I repeat: Meghan used fabric from the dress she wore on her first date with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, as her something blue.

That wasn’t the only tribute in the veil, either. According to Kensington Palace, Meghan had flowers from all 53 U.K. Commonwealth countries represented in its design.

In a second clip from Queen of the World, she opens up about how much that decision meant to her husband as well as the royal family. “[Harry was] really over the moon to find out that I would make this choice for our day together,” she says. “And I think the other members of the family had a similar reaction and just appreciation for the fact we understand how important this is for us and the role that we play and the work that we’re going to continue to do within the Commonwealth countries.”

“It was good news all around, I think,” she continued. “So I hope people liked it as much as I liked helping to create it.”
