Kim Kardashian Finally Revealed That Perfume Bottle Made From a Mold of Her Body

Let no one say Kim Kardashian isn’t a genius. In case anyone forgot, a million years ago, she skyrocketed to fame by capitalizing on the world’s obsession with her body. Through every KKW incarnation, that’s been the thing she’s come back to. Now she’s essentially turning objectification on its head, and she’s coming for our money by literally making herself an object: her latest perfume features a bottle that’s molded from her torso.

ICYMI, Kardashian’s spent the last week building hype on Instagram with a series of close-up nude photos. Obviously, KKW was transparent about the game; on Tuesday she captioned a photo of herself in a full-body clay cast, “We took a mold of my body and made it a perfume bottle.” Then this morning, Kardashian posted an Instagram story unboxing her latest perfume. It comes encased in a heather gray material, with sides that fall away to show the perfume bust on a pedestal.

She explains in the video that it’s not a press box, like the huge, heart-shaped chocolate boxes she sent out with the Kimoji perfumes for Valentine’s Day. Nope, this is what everyone’s getting: “I didn’t do press boxes because I wanted everyone to get this amazing box,” she says. “I thought this was such a cool box within itself, that the bottle is on a statue pedestal, like a statue in a museum.”

So what do her body’s insides smell like? It has sweet, floral citrus top notes, deepens after wear with jasmine and rose, and sticks to your skin, thanks to its base notes of musk, amber, sandalwood, and vetiver. Vetiver’s a hard word to conjure a smell, but imagine something that’s deep, musky sweet, and hard to put down. Swing by a Diptyque counter and spend ten whole minutes smelling its Vetiver perfume, and you’ll get it. Pricing details aren’t out yet, but KKW Body is launching April 30.

'Riverdale' Season 2 Episode 19 Recap: The Truth About Chic Is Finally Revealed

Two people were held for ransom during tonight’s Riverdale episode, and that’s not even the craziest thing that happened. We haven’t even gotten to Betty pointing a gun at Chic yet, but we’ll get to that. Read on as I take an Alka Seltzer:

OK, so all episodes of Riverdale from here on out need to begin with Cheryl in a black Vixens outfit, singing a funeral hymnal. Basically, everyone’s shook over Midge Klump’s death at the hands of someone who claims to be the Black Hood. Archie thinks this person is the real deal, and that the person they thought was the Black Hood, Mr. Svenson, was a fake.

Hot Sheriff Keller doesn’t believe him, though, and for the first time in my life I’m going to say these words out loud: Archie’s right. He’s actually being smart in this situation—hot and smart! Mark this down in your history books, because it won’t last long. The Black Hood is 100 percent still out there. Anyway, the town’s pissed at Sheriff Keller because he continues to be dumb about these murders. Midge Klump’s mom slaps him à la that scene in Jaws where a mom smacks Chief Brody. Cheryl says his days of “failing” this town are numbered. I’d heed her warning, dude. Cheryl literally doused herself in blood last week! She’s on edge!

Jughead thinks Chic is the Black Hood, which is a plausible assumption to make because he’s creepy and randomly murdered someone in Betty’s kitchen. Archie, on the other hand, is fully convinced the Black Hood is still out there—and even starts hallucinating him behind bushes, like he’s Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween or some shit. Veronica wants Archie to drop this bone, which obviously means he won’t. Chest-puffing is Archie’s favorite activity, right after “playing the guitar.”

“It came from the core of my bosom.” — Cheryl, saving this episode one iconic line at a time.

Betty thinks Chic should leave town before Keller interrogates him, which Alice says is a horrible idea because it’ll make him look guilty. Meanwhile, Archie thinks his father, Fred, should skip out because the Black Hood threatened to kill “all those who escaped him.” Fred says no, and if this is foreshadowing for Luke Perry’s death, then I’m writing a stern letter to The CW. All this accumulates to Betty suggesting to Jughead that they look into Chic as a potential Black Hood suspect. Whad’ya know: Detective Bughead is on the case again. Where are their Scooby Snacks?

They go to Sisters of Quiet Mercy, where Svenson and Chic both spent time and might’ve crossed paths. However, the photo in the file for Chic isn’t Chic, confirming something we’ve known all along: “Chic” is a lying scam artist who’s pretending to be Betty’s brother. And may even be the Black Hood!

Jughead and Betty go home to find “Chic” with Alice in the kitchen. They confront him about not really being Chic, and he grabs a knife and starts swinging at them. Thankfully, though, Betty comes in clutch and knocks “Chic” out with a rolling pin. If Alice still thinks “Chic” is harmless after this, then I’m done with this damn family.

Nope, they finally come to their senses…and Chic comes clean: He knew Betty’s brother, Charles. They lived together in that crappy motel where Betty and Alice found him. Apparently one night, the real Charles attempted to get in contact with the Cooper family, but Alice shunned him. He overdosed on Jingle Jangle as a result. Oof. That’s intense, but I won’t lie: The phrase: “He overdosed on Jingle Jangle” made me chuckle. It literally just sounds like he ate too much candy at a carnival. Alice is devastated and relays all this information to Chic’s real father, F.P.

Switching gears: Hermione Lodge has a stake on Sheriff Keller’s head and asks Cheryl to write an op-ed calling for his removal as sheriff. Veronica, however, wants nothing to do with whatever scheme her parents are cooking up. Someone then throws a rock at Keller’s cop car, and I’m pissed. Listen, leave my salt-and-pepper snack alone. He’s doing the best he can! The campaigning works, though, and Keller steps down as Sheriff.

“Shut the hell up, impostor!” — Jughead, who always needs to “shut the hell up.”

But who cares about this because Archie gets attacked by weird men in black hoods outside an abandoned house. One of them is Nick St. Clair, Veronica’s old NYC friend who assaulted her and tried to assault Cheryl. He calls Veronica from Archie’s phone and says he “has Archie” and it will cost her a “cool million” to get him back. Wow, this show’s really taking a turn for the gruesome, isn’t it?

Veronica gives Nick the money, but it’s not enough. He says she can pay him the rest by sleeping with him. It’s disgusting. Even more disgusting is that Nick St. Clair is setting up a feed so Archie can watch this as it goes down.

Plot whiplash: Now we’re back to Betty. The Black Hood—the real one—calls her and says she knew deep down their game wasn’t over. He then rattles off a bunch of nonsense about sinners and hangs up. Betty, for whatever reason, lies about this call to Jughead, but says they should go to Chic’s old motel to investigate his claims about Charles.

A neighbor essentially claims Chic murdered Charles—which makes more sense than his convoluted “Jingle Jangle overdose” story. Chic neither confirms nor denies it, which drives Bughead crazy. The Black Hood calls Betty and says she can “deliver” Chic to him and make this problem go away. This is just so much blood and carnage and not enough Cheryl, TBH.

Betty and Alice get Hal involved in this mess. He thinks they should go to the police, failing to realize that would also incriminate Betty and Alice for the time they helped dispose of the body for Chic. So Betty takes matters into her own hands, grabs a gun (???), and leads Chic out the backdoor of their basement and to a graveyard, where the Black Hood is waiting. Bye, crazy Chic!

Later, Betty goes home, lies about how she got rid of Chic, and is shook to find that Hal is now missing. Apparently, he “went out to look” for Betty, but the ominous music that plays as Alice explains this obviously implies some other fuckery is afoot.

“For all we know, daddy, Nick’s cutting off Archie’s ear right now” — Veronica, being the most extra.

Meanwhile, Veronica is on a “date” with Nick St. Clair in a suite as an imprisoned Archie watches miles away. Archie manages to escape Nick’s goonies and starts heading toward the suite. Nick, a monster, says drugging Cheryl was “school boy mischief” and “all in the past.” Horrifying. The way Veronica stares at his champagne fluke, though, makes me think she’s somehow poisoned his drink.

Yeah, she did—and Nick’s knocked out cold by the time Archie shows up, bloodied up and out of breath. The two of them then tie up Nick and hold him for ransom. This is so much violence for a show about teens. Aren’t normal high school shenanigans dramatic enough?

Nick’s parents pay $1 million to free him, and now Hiram Lodge has to explain to Archie why he did nothing to stop Nick’s ransom scheme. Archie’s oddly cool about it and just says he wants Hiram’s help bringing down the Black Hood. That’s his mission now. Whatever. I’ll never understand straight dudes.

Kris Jenner Just Revealed the Meaning Behind Khloé Kardashian's Baby Name

Khloé Kardashian revealed on Monday (April 16) the name of her baby girl, whom she welcome with Tristan Thompson last week: True. “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True,” Khloé wrote in an Instagram post. The name, naturally, caused a social media frenzy, with thousands of fans hypothesizing the meaning behind it.

And now we know. Khloé’s mother, Kris Jenner, also posted a congratulatory post to Instagram on Monday and revealed the story behind True’s name. Apparently, it runs in the family. “I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True,” Kris posted. See her message for yourself, below:

Khloé gave birth to True last Thursday (April 12) in Cleveland, Ohio. Tristan is a forward for the Cavaliers, so Khloé’s been spending a lot of time in the city as a result. Of course, all this news is coming off the heels of both The Daily Mail and TMZ reporting Tristan allegedly cheated on Khloé last weekend in New York City. Those rumors, however, haven’t been confirmed or denied by the couple.

Reports that Khloé was expecting her first baby popped up in September 2017, and she confirmed them in December. “Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Just Revealed Their Daughter's Name

Despite rumors otherwise, we now know for sure that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West one-thousand percent did not name their daughter after Louis Vuitton. So what did they name her, you ask? After Kanye’s hometown: Chicago. Yes, the newest member of the Kardashian-West family is officially Chicago West. Kim revealed her daughter’s name on her app today, along with Chicago’s birthday (January 15, 2018), time of birth (12:47 A.M.), and birth weight (7 pounds, 6 ounces). She then followed that up with a tweet that seems to indicate Chicago will have a nickname: “North, Saint & Chi.”

“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” Kim wrote on her website Monday to announce Chicago’s birth. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”

Chicago has only been in the world a few days, but she’s already caused quite a stir. (She does share Kim and Kanye’s genes, after all.) After Kim posted the Louis Vuitton symbols on Instagram earlier this week, many fans speculated that the child was named after the fashion brand. But that’s relatively harmless compared to the theories that have been floating around that Kylie Jenner, who is reportedly pregnant, was Kim’s surrogate or gestational carrier. Kim dismissed those rumors, though, in a blog post yesterday about her choice to use a gestational carrier through an agency.

“It’s not for everyone, but I absolutely love my gestational carrier and this was the best experience I’ve ever had,” she wrote. “The connection with our baby came instantly and it’s as if she was with us the whole time.”

'This Is Us' Season 2 Episode 12 Recap: An Important Detail About the Fire Is Revealed

Tonight’s episode of This Is Us is titled “Clooney,” which we’re reminded at the beginning is the name of William’s cat. So, like, is this whole episode going to be about some cat? Because if so let’s just skip this week. I don’t have the patience.

Praise be, it’s not: We start in the ’90s, where the Pearson three are teens. Kate needs a dress for Winter Formal and actually asks Rebecca to take her to the mall. Kevin’s knee is broken from his football accident, so he’s lying on the couch, guzzling soda and feeling sorry for himself. Jack tells him to snap out of it and drags him to the mall to get a Winter Formal outfit, too. Randall also tags along and is enthusiastic because he’s the best.

While Kate and Rebecca are browsing dresses, Kate’s clearly uncomfortable. It looks like she has the number “7” written on her wrist, which is confusing. Is that…the dress size she’s aiming for? I don’t know. The dresses seem to not fit Kate, so she scurries off while Rebecca isn’t looking. When Rebecca finds Kate and suggests they look for other dresses, Kate snaps. It’s the first time ever I’ve empathized with one of the Pearson teens’ bratty outbursts. Have you ever struggled to fit into clothes inside a public dressing room? The panic, the embarrassment, the sweat beating down your neck—it’s horrible.

Meanwhile, Kevin and Jack are heading to a suit shop when they run into Miguel, who reveals his ex-wife is now engaged. Jack tries to make Miguel feel better, but annoying Kevin jumps down his throat and says Miguel is allowed to just let “things suck.” I’m so over his angst, it’s not even funny. (But I’m still crushing on him because I’m a masochist.)

Miguel, Randall, Jack, and Kevin are eating in the food court and talking about “lost dreams.” Jack tells the boys he once wanted to open up his own construction company but didn’t so his family could have a stable life. This is all so boring, and them eating at a food court makes me want to eat at a food court. They eventually get suits. It’s cute. Later, Jack tells Rebecca he wants to quit his job and start that construction business: The Big Three.

But who cares about that because, OMG: Randall made a homemade eight ball and used it to ask a girl at the mall on a date. He’s perfect. (This girl’s also who Randall is seen with the night of The Fire, so ? .)

Adult Randall

Randall has a job interview today, and he’s not excited about it, which is annoying Beth. He has to drive over to William’s old apartment to pick up some random box they found in storage. Oh my God: What if the cat is in that box? No way, right? That’s way too morbid.

OK, so the cat isn’t in the box. He’s missing, allegedly. I really hope we’re not expected to care about this cat. In William’s box, Randall finds poems he wrote about some “lady” and gets excited. I’m confused and, honestly, don’t care. I’ve never not cared about Randall’s storyline.

Randall then goes around from apartment to apartment in William’s building asking people if they know the women from these poems. I could cry from boredom. Where the hell is Beth?

Thank God, she’s here now, shutting down Randall’s chatter about these poems and telling him to get a job. She says he’s in “outer space” and needs to be back in the “real world” with her. He’s devastated when she says this. It’s harsh, sure, but Beth can do no wrong in my eyes, so I support her.

Randall goes for the job interview, but leaves it halfway through to answer a phone call about the mystery poem lady from William’s apartment building. Is she going to help pay for your kids’ college, Randall?!? Is she?!

The call leads Randall to William’s old super, who says she and William didn’t sleep together but the building “felt it” when he moved. Randall eventually finds himself in William’s actual apartment unit, which reveals the “lady” from the poems: Billie Holiday. A billboard of Billie Holiday, nicknamed Lady Day, is visible across the street from William’s apartment. Awww, tender. But boring.

At the end, Randall takes Beth to this building and says he wants to buy it with her and help give the tenants inside the comfort they deserve. Again, tender. (And, again, boring.)

Adult Kate

We open with Kate at Overeater’s Anonymous, talking about how she “fell off the wagon” but is getting back on track because she and Toby are getting married in the spring. She voices anxiety about picking out a wedding dress, which is completely understandable and painfully relatable. Surprisingly, Madison—the thin girl in their OA class who Kate hates—proposes to take her wedding dress shopping at a place that does custom gowns. Kate agrees. Geez. I hope this ends well.

They arrive at the wedding dress shop, and things are actually going great…for Kate. It’s Madison who seems to be on edge about something. Answer: She ate several macaroons when she arrived at the shop and threw them up. When Kate goes to confront Madison about this, she gets defensive and leaves Kate in the parking lot.

Later, Madison calls Kate in a panic. It turns out she came home, binge-ate old frozen yogurt, and fainted. Kate then opens up to Madison about some of her issues: Apparently, Kate lost a lot of weight after Jack died. She became so thin, the size-seven Winter Formal dress that didn’t fit her from the flashback was loose on her. But the weight loss didn’t bring her the happiness she thought. She felt empty; Kate says she liked being overweight because she liked hating herself and hearing the angry voice constantly telling her to lose weight.

Oof. Full personal disclosure: This storyline’s hitting pretty close to home for me. Like Kate, I’ve struggled with weight (and trying to lose it) for as long as I can remember. It’s an unhealthy, all-consuming obsession that’s somehow become a part of my identity—as it has for Kate. And here, Kate asks a question I’ve repeatedly asked myself for years: Who would I be if I wasn’t constantly thinking about losing weight? It’s incredible This Is Us is tackling a body-image issue this specific and nuanced.

Adult Kevin

Kevin’s leaving rehab, but his therapist says she’s worried he may slip up if he goes back to Hollywood. So he goes to stay with Rebecca and Miguel, which will probably end terribly.

It’s already awkward five minutes in. Rebecca stocked up on all this healthy food, but Kevin says he’s on a super sugary diet because…that’s allowed when you’re a recovering drug addict? At the grocery store, Rebecca and Kevin share a warm moment about their Jack necklaces. But then Miguel reveals to Kevin in private that Rebecca’s been a “wreck” since their therapy-session fight and Kevin’s arrest. He says he’s going to “protect” Rebecca from any more “bombs” Kevin plans to throw at her. Kevin then makes some horrible comment about how Jack, not Miguel, is Rebecca’s husband. Again, Kevin’s being the worst, as per usual. Is anyone surprised?

Kevin eventually apologizes to Miguel, but then jumps straight into interrogating him about Jack. Miguel says he wasn’t in love with Rebecca when Jack was alive but he is now and isn’t going anywhere. And that’s a good thing, Kevin! Why the hell do you not want your mom to be happy? He’s ridiculous. Kevin and Rebecca eventually have a nice conversation, though, and he comes around to the fact that Miguel makes her happy.

But the most important scene in this episode happens at the very end. When we opened, ’90s Rebecca told ’90s Jack they needed to pick up batteries at the mall, but they forgot. And it turns out those batteries were for a smoke detector. A smoke detector that probably didn’t go off during a certain fire. Is that why the fire was as bad as it was? The Pearsons didn’t realize it was happening because the smoke detector was broken, and it escalated? Oof. Another layer to this mystery!

Parting thoughts: Check our smoke detectors, apparently.

Ryan Murphy Just Revealed the Themes of Season 8 and Season 9 of 'American Horror Story'

The new year might have just started, but American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy is thinking way past 2018. Murphy revealed during the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in Pasadena on Friday that season eight of AHS will take place in the—wait for it—future.

“All I’ll say about it is I want to go to the future — still topical, but the future, which I’ve never done,” Murphy said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

This probably means it’ll be years, maybe decades, after season 7’s present-day setting in Trump’s America—but it could be a look at the aftermath. And even though he’s keeping quiet about other details, we do know what the season is not about: outer space, as Murphy confirmed.

The writers won’t start working on the script until February, but the storyline has been approved by FX. “I pitched it to [FX chief] John Landgraf today right after his TCA panel, and he loved it, but he’s asked me not to say what it is,” Murphy said. “I told him, and he fell out of his chair with joy. I think people will like it; it’s different from what we’ve done before, but I always try and do the opposite of what I’ve done on that show.”

Given that the show had literally just been pitched, Murphy says he hasn’t started casting yet, but he hopes that Evan Peters—who is also working on Murphy’s new FX drama Pose—will come back for another season. “It’s conceivable that they could overlap. I mean, Sarah Paulson has done two shows for me that were shooting at the same time,” he explained. “Usually, with the actors, I think of a role and then go to them and they either want to do it or not, so I haven’t even talked to Evan about what the role might be, but I would hope so. I think so.”

Surprisingly, even though season eight is in the early stages of coming together, season nine of AHS has actually already been in the works. The season will be the much-anticipated crossover between Murder House and Coven from seasons 1 and 3. “We’re working on it, but it’s not going to be the next season,” Murphy said. “Next season is season eight, and it’ll probably be the one after that. “We’ve already met about it and outlined it, but it won’t be next, because some of the people are not available.”

Murphy wants all of the original cast members back together for the crossover including Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Jessica Lang, and Kathy Bates. “Everybody who is involved in the show has always said, ‘Yeah, that sounds like fun, let’s get the band back together again.’ So that is one of the reasons why the writing process of that season is taking longer because it’s literally 25 people’s schedules. But I’m hopeful they will all be back.”
