Khloé Kardashian Perfectly Shut Down Trolls on Instagram for Good

Khloé Kardashian has officially had enough of trolls. This week, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star hit back at critics by turning off her Instagram comments after some accused her of getting lip injections. Though Kardashian is known to clap back at her haters, she decided her move here was to avoid giving the negativity a platform altogether.

The criticism all started after Good American co-founder shared a series of photos to promote an ad for Skin Thesis.

“Hey glow!!! ✨ #ad Shout out to Melissa @skinthesisinc for my healthy glowing skin ?,” Kardashian captioned the post, which highlighted her skin-care regime.

But instead of focusing on her glowing appearance, comments quickly started to roll in questioning whether the reality star she’s had any work done on her face—and the messages ranged from mean to straight-up nasty.

“God what happened,” one person reportedly wrote.

“I’m sorry but your lips are overdone, it looks nasty,” another commented.

“If you can’t close your lips ?… too much filler,” someone else remarked.

By quietly disabled everyone’s ability to comment, it not only helped her avoid further trolling, but it served as an important reminder that whether Kardashian’s had work done or not is none of anyone’s business.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Kardashian has been called out in regards to how she lives her life.

Earlier this month, she was accused of using her daughter as an accessory after posting a photo walking along the beach carrying baby True.

“U do know that your baby isn’t an accessory right?” a user asked.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Average Americans, Ate at Cheesecake Factory Twice in a Row

Kim Kardashian going to—or even just talking about—chain restaurants is one of my favorite pop-culture subcategories. What? You didn’t realize this was a thing? Well, you’ve been missing out, my friend. I’ll always remember when she opened up about her Chipotle order a few years back, plainly saying, “I always get a Diet Coke from the fountain with LOTS of ice. If they don’t put enough ice in it, I die.” Or when she confirmed that she “ALWAYS” orders a side of small fries at McDonald’s. Always. She probably “dies” if that also doesn’t happen.

So you can imagine my pure elation when news came out today (August 28) that Kardashian, Kanye West, and their children dined at the Cheesecake Factory two times in a row while visiting Dayton, Ohio over the weekend. (They were there for West’s Sunday Services.) According to People magazine, the famous family had several dishes while eating at the popular chain, including a slice of its famous Strawberry Cheesecake.

A fan named Kayla snapped photos of the Kardashian-Wests getting their cheesecake on, and they’re as iconic as you’d expect. Check them out for yourself, below.

I’m not sure what piece of information is more delicious: the fact that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ate at Cheesecake Factory at all, or the fact they went twice. Have you ever been to Cheesecake Factory? It’s incredible, yes, but so, so filling. It’s the type of place even the most devoted chain restaurant-goers can only handle eating at once in a while. So to go there back-to-back is some serious dedication to cheesecake.

To be honest, I can absolutely picture a world where Kardashian had never heard of Cheesecake Factory until she ate there in Ohio—and then became so infatuated with it, she had to go again immediately. “Babe, have you ever heard of this place called Cheesecake Factory?” Kim asked Kanye, in my imagination. “They, like, sell pasta and tacos and, like, these giant pieces of cheesecake. I’m dying.”

I can’t wait to see how Keeping Up With the Kardashians documents this culinary experience.

Kim Kardashian Is Renaming Her Shapewear Line Following Criticism

Following accusations of cultural appropriation, Kim Kardashian West announced she’ll be renaming her forthcoming shapewear line, previously called Kimono.

“Being an entrepreneur and my own boss has been one of the most rewarding challenges I’ve been blessed with in my life,” she wrote on Instagram. “What’s made it possible for me after all of these years has been the direct line of communication with my fans and the public. I am always listening, learning and growing—I so appreciate the passion and varied perspectives that people bring to me.”

“When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind. My brands and products are built with inclusivity and diversity at their core and after careful thought and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand under a new name. I will be in touch soon. Thank you for your understanding and support always.”

Kardashian announced her latest venture, a “solutionwear” brand of undergarments available in sizes XXS to 4XL and in nine shades, last week. And though it was praised for its inclusive approach to sizing and pricing, the name Kimono drew criticism, specifically from people of Japanese origin, who felt it was disrespectful to the traditional garment.

As this conversation started gaining traction on social media—even inspiring a hashtag, #KimOhNo—Kardashian issued a response to the New York Times, clarifying her intention with the name: “I understand and have deep respect for the significance of the kimono in Japanese culture and have no plans to design or release any garments that would in any way resemble or dishonor the traditional garment. I made the decision to name my company Kimono, not to disassociate the word from its Japanese roots but as a nod to the beauty and detail that goes into a garment. Filing a trademark is a source identifier that will allow me to use the word for my shapewear and intimates line but does not preclude or restrict anyone, in this instance, from making kimonos or using the word kimono in reference to the traditional garment. My solutionwear brand is built with inclusivity and diversity at its core and I’m incredibly proud of what’s to come.”

Kardashian didn’t reveal the new name for the brand, but promised to share it with the public soon. The products are expected to launch this month.

Fans Think Khloé Kardashian Looks Exactly Like Kim Kardashian in This Photo

On Friday (June 21) Khloé Kardashian posted a selfie to Instagram that left some of her fans scratching their heads in confusion. Why? In the ‘gram, she looks dead-on like her sister, Kim Kardashian. Although the Kar-Jenners definitely look like sisters, they don’t tend to look much like doppelgängers of each other—it’s usually not super-difficult to tell them apart. But with this pic, even we did a double-take: Whether it’s Khloé’s long blond hair or it happens to be the angle she’s posing in, the Good American co-founder is basically a mirror of Kim in the picture.

The photo shows Khloé in a blue scoop-neck tank, arm behind her head, looking off into the distance. She didn’t have a lot to say about the pic herself: For her caption, she just dropped in the dog print emoji. Then again, she didn’t have to say much: Fans immediately began commenting about her resemblance to Kim.

“Is this kim or khole i cant tell,” one follower commented.

“I honestly couldn’t tell which kardashian this was for a moment, I had to look at the name,” another wrote.

“I legit thought this was kim,” another declared.

Meanwhile, one fan noted the pic looks like a combination of both sisters. “Khime perhaps?” they wrote.

The resemblance is uncanny, no? For comparison, here’s Kim with Kris below.

It’s not just Kim who Khloé could potentially twin with, either: Khloé and younger sis Kylie Jenner have done ads for their cosmetics collaborations highlighting how similar they can look. Still, it’s not that often the twinning realness hits quite this level.

Kim Kardashian Just Revealed the First Pic of Psalm, and of Course He’s Adorable

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child, a son named Psalm, via surrogate on Friday, May 10. The beauty mogul has kept mum about the latest addition to her family since then, but she broke her silence on Monday, June 10, posting a photo of baby Psalm to Instagram.

“Psalm Ye,” she captioned the pic, which shows the little guy sleeping in an adorable white onesie. So this means, presumably, that Psalm’s middle name is “Ye,” a.k.a the nickname of his famous rapper father.

Check out the cute snap for yourself, below:

Kardashian previously posted a photo of Psalm sleeping in his crib, but she deleted it after critics pointed out that it’s unsafe to put so many soft items in a newborn’s sleeping area. (According to Today, Psalm’s crib in the photo was adorned with padded bumpers and blankets, among other loose items.)

Psalm is the second child Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed via surrogate. Kardashian turned to this option after she developed a condition called placenta accreta following the birth of her son, Saint. (For those who don’t know, placenta accreta happens when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall.)

“My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails,” Kardashian wrote in her blog about the condition. “My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before. My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that—it was the most painful experience of my life! They gave me a second epidural but we were racing against time, so I just had to deal.”

She’s also opened up about her decision to use surrogate, knocking critics who say it’s the easier alternative to naturally conceiving. “Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong,” she told Entertainment Tonight.”I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control.”

Khloé Kardashian Just Went to Her First High School Prom

Khloé Kardashian has had quite the busy weekend. While live-tweeting the most recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she revealed two things: (1) She’s moving, which isn’t that interesting. (Well, it will be if she stays with Kris Jenner in the interim, like Kim and Kanye did, and the KUWTK cameras film it.) And (2) She attended her first high school prom. Yup, the Good American mogul confirmed on social media that she did, in fact, go to prom with one of her super-fans named Narbeh, who runs a Kardashian-centric Instagram account with more than 240,000 followers.

“My very first prom and I went with THE BEST date ever @NarbehKardash !!!!! We had so much fun!!! How handsome is my date???” she tweeted.

The prom took place at Hoover High School in Glendale, California, and for the occasion Kardashian wore a slinky black dress with a keyhole cutout. Narbeh was in a sleek black suit and, of course, bought his famous date a corsage. Naturally, they both shared a bunch of photos from the evening on social media. “Thank you for inviting me boo ?? it was perfect!!” Kardashian tweeted. “I loved meeting your family!! We can’t forget how gorgeous your Queen grandmother is!!!”

Narbeh documented most of his evening on Instagram. “Took @khloekardashian as my date to prom… so many more photos to come. I’m feeling over the moon ,” he wrote in one caption.

“Wow. Sharing my prom with @khloekardashian was an over the moon experience for me,” he later posted. “I want to thank Khloé, her team, @hoovertornados, my amazing mentor @mmelikian, and my family for making this all happen. Being w Khloé made me feel like i was with just one of my cousins. I’ll never forget this night! Enjoy these beautiful pictures! I’m so thankful! and Kokkkesssss you’re beautiful! ?”

I need to hear a play-by-play of their evening. Did Narbeh greet Khloé by quoting one of her classic KUWTK lines? Did they have in-depth conversations at dinner about the cultural impact of Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami? Did they slow dance to Kim’s song “Jam?!”

It’s not clear at this point how the prom date came to be, but maybe we’ll see it all on an upcoming episode of KUWTK. You may remember that Khloé’s sister Kylie Jenner also famously attended prom with a fan (and ex-BFF Jordyn Woods) back in 2017, which was documented on her short-lived show, Life of Kylie.

We’re sure it was a fantastic night for all in attendance at Hoover High, but especially for Narbeh, who told E!, “We had such a fun time! I’m so thankful and I’ll never ever forget my prom night!”
