People Are Accusing Kim Kardashian and Kanye West of Allegedly Mistreating Wildlife in Wyoming


Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are certainly no strangers to controversy. Justified or not, it’s practically a way of life for their extremely famous family. Whether it’s Kim getting mommy-shamed for letting their daughter North wear hoop earrings, being accused of cultural appropriation, or Kanye wearing MAGA hats and saying slavery was a choice, the couple makes headlines with pretty much everything they do, say, or post on social media.

The latest controversy comes after Kardashian posted an Instagram video at their new ranch in Wyoming — which TMZ reports cost around $14 million for 4500 acres— where West can be seen driving an ATV amongst a herd of wild antelope. In the video, the vehicle appears to be chasing the herd, upsetting fans and detractors alike for their treatment of the animals. Even Kardashian can be heard saying in the social media post, “I think you’re scaring them!!!”

TMZ reports that the Wyoming Game & Fish Dept. was informed about the video and “paid a visit to the manager of Kanye’s new ranch to make sure everyone is aware of the rules pertaining to wildlife.” (Animal harassment is outlawed in the state.) A source close to the couple told the outlet though that “they were simply cruising along when the animals came running by” and that there was no chase or harassment. Reportedly, no formal complaint was actually filed.

That didn’t stop social media users from getting upset about the video. “Kim can posts as many nudes as she wants. Kanye can put that Christian choir on whatever hook he wants.. I’ll tell you what- Antelope chasing is where I draw the line!!,” one tweeted. “What in the name of $*&% were they thinking? I think my blood pressure just pinned in the red,” another penned.

Neither West nor Kardashian has publicly addressed the matter.

Kim Kardashian Says She Delayed North West's Birth to Get a Manicure


Given the amount of time that Kim Kardashian has been living her life on screen, it wouldn’t be strange to think we know just about everything about her. Of course, that’s not true—but the reality star-entrepreneur does show us much of the good, the bad, and the ugly of her day-to-day existence.

But even six years after welcoming her daughter, North West, we’re still learning more about the circumstances surrounding her birth. Keeping Up with the Kardashians viewers will remember that there was a bit of drama surrounding North’s brith, as Kim secretly rushed to the hospital and mom, Kris Jenner, and her sisters tried to figure out how to handle the situation as calmly (and paparazzi-free) as possible.

On her BFF Jonathan Cheban’s podcast, FoodGod: OMFG, Kim revealed that she made sure to squeeze in some grooming and a snack before North’s arrival. “I go, ‘I need a McGriddle at McDonald’s,’” Kim said she asked Cheban, per People. “‘Do you mind driving me to get a bikini wax?’”

“I had to actually, like, squeeze her inside of the car and pull her out to get this wax,” Cheban said. “And then afterwards we go to get a McGriddle in McDonald’s, and we’re racing so fast.”

Kim says that after she got home from her wax, doctors informed her that she needed to get to the hospital for delivery because of preeclampsia, a high blood pressure condition that can be dangerous for expecting moms. “My nails were dark,” she said. “It was when I was still in my Linkin Park after-dark phase with my burgundy nails. And I was like, ‘No, no, no, I’m having a girl, like, I really need a nice light pink nail for delivery.’ So I told the doctor, ‘Are you sure I have to deliver right now, can you give me, like, two hours?’ And he was like, ‘Fine, meet me in two hours.’”

Obviously, everything worked out just fine. North West was born happy and healthy on June 15, 2013, and she’s been iconic ever since.

Khloé Kardashian Has Bright White-Blond Hair Now


Khloé Kardashian has had blond hair for so long now, we’ve almost forgotten what she looks like as a brunette. (Here’s a reminder, in case you needed one, too.) She’s been going back and forth between a bob and long extensions recently. However, it seems like there’s another chapter in Khloé’s blond book: She just took her color brighter than ever. Yes, we’re talking platinum, but the shade is so icy, it’s nearly white.

Kardashian shared her latest hair color in an Instagram photo on Wednesday and posted it with a cloud emoji in the caption. It is pretty much cloud-white and very dreamy—in fact, it’s giving off some slight Daenerys Targaryen vibes. It’s also way lighter than one of her early forays into blondness back in 2015, when she showed off gorgeous waves after visiting Meche Salon in L.A. (The salon’s owner, Tracey Cunningham, has been Kardashian’s colorist for years.)

There is definitely a blond movement happening right now. Kardashian’s younger sister Kendall Jenner recently turned up with platinum hair (also done by Cunningham) while walking the runway for Burberry’s Spring 2020 fashion show at London Fashion Week. Although her roots are still a bit closer to her natural color, she was practically unrecognizable with her new hair, which she wore pin-straight and behind her ears.

And they’re not the only ones: This summer, Jenner’s friend Bella Hadid abandoned her life as a brunette and began experimenting with lighter shades that have her looking more and more like her sister, Gigi. This week, Hadid switched things up yet again and debuted a sleek blond bob at the same Burberry show Jenner walked in.

Kim Kardashian Says She 'Got in Trouble' With Kanye West for Letting Daughter North Wear Lipstick


Kim Kardashian seems like a pretty cool mom: Despite her busy schedule, she appears to spend plenty of time doting on her children, bringing them along for epic vacations, and ensuring they have plenty of time with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty. But, there’s one thing she does as a mom that apparently infuriates her husband, Kanye West: She’s been known to let daughter North West, 6, wear lipstick from time to time.

Since her birth, North has followed in her mom’s stylish footsteps, often wearing pieces from her own wardrobe of designer clothes. She’s been spotted rocking a $750 Alexander Wang Marti Micro leopard-print shoulder bag to school (I mean, who would say no if that were sent to them?) and walked the runway at Los Angeles Fashion Week. And, on special occasions, she’s been spotted wearing bright red lipstick a time or two.

Kim’s been mom-shamed for her decision to let her young daughter wear makeup in the past. In 2018, little North was spotted with a red lip that Kim later revealed was part of Kim’s very own line. “She picked it,” Kim explained on Twitter.

But now, Kim says, Kanye has had enough with North’s makeup.

“She loves makeup but her dad won’t let her wear it,” Kim recently shared with E! News. “I think he had it, he changed all the rules. I’d let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something. I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip.”

Kim also shared that she’s not the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner family that Kanye may have to worry about when it comes to giving their children makeup to play with.

“Kylie would give her all of these lip kits, so I kind of got in trouble for that,” she said. “So, it’s now no more makeup.”

However, Kim also shared that her eldest child can still “weigh in” on her mom’s fashion choices—so we’re sure to have peeks at North’s taste-making skills for years to come, lipstick or no.

Kourtney Kardashian Got Scalp Injections to Treat a Bald Spot


Ever since she figured out how to manage her relationship with Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian‘s storylines on Keeping Up With the Kardashians have been a relatively drama-free. But during the show’s season 17 (!!!) premiere Sunday night, the eldest sister was facing a beauty emergency.

During a scene with Kim, the sisters discuss a not-small bald spot that has formed on the top of Kourt’s head. “Kourtney, you have a really big spot on the top of your head,” Kim said. “Look down, Kourtney. Oh my god, I’m afraid for your life. Have you seen that?” “No, but I feel it,” Kourtney replied. “It’s a hole in my head. I swear it’s from my ponytail, it was so tight that I had a bump on my head like this.” Obviously, Kim is being overly dramatic, but the spot is noticeable in the clip below.

“Hair loss is not always genetic in nature,” Dr. Steve Fallek, plastic surgeon and medical director at BeautyFix Med Spa, tells Glamour. “Physical and mechanical stress can weaken and even damage the hair follicle leading to hair loss. Tight ponytails can certainly pull your hair out of the hair follicle and is a common cause of hair loss. Coloring your hair or treating your hair with harsh chemicals can also contribute to this. Weight loss, nutritional changes, medications, as well as stress are other typical factors for hair loss.”

Of course, when you’re a Kardashian, you have pretty much any beauty treatment available to you at any given moment, so Kourtney heads to see Dr. Jason Diamond later in the episode to address the bald spot with scalp injections. “Today I’m getting PRP [platelet-rich plasma], which is where they take your blood and spin it and they use your plasma and they inject it in my head for my hair to grow back,” she said.

Plasma treatments for conditions like alopecia are becoming more popular, and Kourtney did a pretty good job explaining the basics. Blood is taken from the patient and put into a centrifuge to separate out the plasma that will then be used for the injections. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the plasma “helps repair blood vessels, promote cell growth and wound healing, and stimulate collagen production.”

“Given its name, PRP is rich in platelets which have a large number of multiple growth factors, which help the hair follicles to grow,” Fallek says. “The PRP is then injected into your scalp where there is hair loss. A topical anesthetic is normally applied prior to injections and the treatment takes about five to 10 minutes.” He says that treatment is varied, but that most doctors will inject areas of alopecia monthly for three months initially and then twice a year for maintenance. You can expect to notice improvement after two to three months.”

People Are Mommy-Shaming Kim Kardashian Because of North's Earrings Now


When you’re as famous as Kim Kardashian and living your life as publicly as she and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan do, some controversies are to be expected. Of course, some of them the family brings on themselves. (See: cornrows. But others seem to be a totally avoidable product of the quick-to-react outrage culture that’s basically just daily life on social media.

A certain segment of people is very invested in all the wrong ways celebrities are raising their kids, which they mostly judge based on a photo posted on social media. Kardashian, her sister Khloé, and their pal Chrissy Teigen have all been known to shut down mommy-shaming trolls in the past—which is great, because moms have enough to deal with, celebrity or not.

The latest Kim K “drama” comes after the star posted a sweet picture with her 6-year-old daughter, North, where they were pinky-swearing to be be “besties for life.” Adorable, right? Not to some followers and commenters who didn’t like that North was wearing giant hoop earrings in the photo.

Almost immediately, the judge-y comments started flowing in. “Cute but those giant hoops for a little girl ?? She’s not even 11 yet ??‍♀️,” one person wrote. “Ok I never say anything bad regarding anyone’s kids, but, North has no business wearing hoops that big at what, 6? They’re gonna pull on her little holes,” another commented. “Why is she wearing hoop earrings??? She doesn’t look like a little girl,” yet another commenter wrote.

Others jumped to Kardashian’s defense. “Kim isn’t wearing earrings, so I assume she took hers off to let North wear them for fun. She (North) probably asked. Her ear will be fine bc she probably didn’t have them on long,” one commented. “Y’all do realize she’s North’s mom and if she allows her to wear hoops oh damn well! Y’all be acting like y’all perfect parents!” another said.

“Here come all the ‘perfect moms’ trying to shame the next ???,” one person astutely pointed out.

Plus, as Cosmo pointed out, it seems like these are Khloé’s earrings, and North is just playing dress-up for a moment with some fun, big, shiny jewelry of her auntie’s. Ultimately, though, it’s probably a good idea to leave parenting North up to her parents and her parents alone.
