Hidden Details in the Maniac Hairstyles You Totally Missed

The main draw of Netflix‘s new show Maniac are the amazing dreamscapes, the bizarre and intricate worlds that Annie (Emma Stone) and Owen (Jonah Hill) experience after taking pills given to them during a pharmaceutical trial. The mind-bending adventures are sometimes based in real memories, other times pure fantasy—but each one takes the viewer into the deep recesses of Annie and Owen’s minds.

In other words, these dreamscapes are a visual feast chock full of easter eggs, surreal gags, and cool hair. No, really: Emma Stone’s hair journey is a fun trip in and of itself. So much so that I called the show’s hair department head Fríða Aradóttir to walk me through each look. “It felt like we were doing something different; that possibly wasn’t done in this format before,” she says of filming Maniac. “And that’s really, really exciting.” See her take on the hairstyles, below.

Hailey Baldwin Just Shared Some Details About Her Wedding to Justin Bieber

We finally have some details about Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber‘s wedding, and it sounds like an actual fairytale.

“I just picture lights strung everywhere,” Baldwin told The Cut at a breakfast celebrating her new partnership with BareMinerals. “I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.” She also revealed that she has been working with a wedding planner in search of the perfect spot for her big day, which will likely happen on the West Coast and, as previously reported, in 2019.

While she doesn’t have her exact wedding dress picked out yet, she does know who will be designing it, and she also confirmed previous rumors about her bridal party. “My sister will be my bridesmaid — I was hers last year,” she said of older sister Alaia Baldwin. “And maybe Justin’s little sister as a flower girl. Is 10 too old?”

Though the 22-year-old has heard the comments from trolls who claim she’s too young to get married, she doesn’t seem to care. “My sister was 24 when she got married, and my parents also got married when they were young, too,” she said. “I see no reason to wait. When you know it’s right, it’s right.”

Her parents, Stephen and Kennya Baldwin, seem to be totally on-board with their daughter’s decision to make it official with the pop star. “I said to them, ‘You’d stop me if you didn’t think this was the right decision, right? And they didn’t,” she said. “I think they love him more than me!”

“Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you,” Bieber wrote on Instagram back in July, confirming their engagement. “So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY.”

You Probably Missed These 2 Adorable Details in Prince Louis' First Official Photos

Royals—they’re just like us! Well, maybe in this one case. Kensington Palace released an adorable photo of 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and newborn Prince Louis last night. And even though their older brother Prince George wasn’t present in the photograph, a part of him was.

After royal aficionados were finished swooning over the overwhelming amount of cuteness, they noticed Charlotte’s blue cardigan looked familiar. As it turns out, she borrowed her sweater from her older brother, who originally wore the sweater for another royal photograph.

George, who will be 5 in July, was around Charlotte’s current age when he was first photographed in the blue embroidered cardigan. Made by Spanish brand Fina Ejerique, it retailed for about $50. He paired it with maroon shorts and knee socks for his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s official 90th birthday portrait back in 2016.

Shot by famed photographer Annie Lebowitz, the photograph features a then 3-year-old George standing proudly next to his fellow royal relatives.

See it below:

“We couldn’t be happier to see little Princess Charlotte wearing the same cardigan Prince George once wore,” the brand’s designer, Ana Pérez, told People. “It is a huge pleasure to be among the brands in their wardrobe.”

But that’s not all: As it turns out, 4-week-old Prince Louis is also wearing a hand-me down from Charlotte in his solo shot that Kate photographed.

The white jumper he’s wearing is the same one Princess Charlotte wore in her own official photograph with Prince George in June 2015.

Adorable, no? We love a royal re-wear, and this definitely takes the cake.

Prince Louis' Birth Certificate Is Pretty Standard, Minus Two Small Details

If you thought royal birth certificates are fancier than others—like, say, hand-printed in gold ink on ivory card stock—think again. Turns out, when royals are born, they’re issued a routine birth certificate, just like the rest of us. Well, almost.

On Tuesday (May 1), Prince Louis’ birth certificate was released, and it’s pretty standard save for two small details. Under “occupation” for his mom and dad—Kate Middleton and Prince William—it reads “Princess of the United Kingdom” and “Prince of the United Kingdom.” And for “name and surname,” all three royals are listed under their full royal titles. This means Prince Louis is listed as “His Royal Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge,” Prince William goes by “His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Duke of Cambridge,” and Kate Middleton is ID’d as “Catherine Elizabeth Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge.”

Other than that, though, the birth certificate has all your basic info. It states that Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Westminster, that his sex is male, and that he lives at Kensington Palace in London. It also bears Prince William’s signature, which is exactly as aristocratic as you’d expect.

Check it out for yourself, below:

Kensington Palace announced the then-unnamed Prince Louis’ birth last Monday, April 23 on Twitter. “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs,” read the tweet. “The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

Later that week, Prince William joked that he was still “working on” the baby name, but a day later, Kensington Palace confirmed it: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles,” read their announcement. Now it’s official, so no take-backs, William.

'Stranger Things' Season 3 Details: Expect to See More of Dustin and Steve's Friendship

It’s been a busy start to 2018 for the cast of Stranger Things, and they haven’t even started shooting season three yet. From partying at the Golden Globes to dominating the carpet at the SAG Awards, the cast has been celebrating their season two success before they return to Hawkins, Indiana this spring.

They’ve certainly earned the break—once filming begins, it’ll be non-stop work until the show returns in late 2018 or early 2019. “If we could make it [return] faster, then we would,” Executive Producer Shawn Levy explains. “But we’re going to make it well. We’re going to do it right.” The good news is that the Duffer Brothers and Levy have already planned out all of the story lines for season three. “We’re there,” Levy tells us. “It’ll be an eight or nine episode season. The number of episodes will be dictated by the amount of story that excites us. We now know what is going to happen in season three to every character.” Now that the season’s storyline is worked out, they’re in the process of figuring out the specific details of each scene in each episode.

While Levy is hesitant to reveal more beyond that, he will say that Will Byers is in need of a break after last season’s trauma from the aftermath of the Upside Down. “We’re going to give Will a break,” he says. “We’re not going to put Will through hell for a third season in a row. He’ll be dealing with stuff, but he won’t be at rock bottom the way we forced the amazing Noah Schnapp to play.” Of course, after battling the Shadow Monster one would assume Dustin or Hopper might be next in line to suffer the consequences. “You might assume that,” Levy teases, “but you would probably end up being wrong. We’re [going to be] dealing with forces of evil that are new.”

Still, not everything will completely change heading into season three. After last year’s surprising—but welcome!—friendship between Dustin ([Gaten Matarazzo])(/about/gaten-matarazzo) and Steve (Joe Keery), Levy says you’ll definitely “get some Steve/Dustin action.” As for Matarazzo, he hopes there will be more light-hearted scenes with Steve and Dustin in season three, though he also wants to see their relationships evolve. “In season two, it was all very cute and there was a funny factor to it because it was unexpected, but now that it is expected, I want to see them connect more and be more familiar with each other,” he says. “I want them to have a connection like they’ve really had a connection for a year—like they’re brothers.” Matarazzo points out that Dustin doesn’t have a brother and his father is gone, so Dustin wants an older male figure in his life to look up to. “He’s never had that, so I feel like Steve is definitely someone in that sense who could be that person to him.”

And just as Dustin’s relationship with Steve will mature, could rebel Billy be the instigator for a more sexually liberated Mrs. Wheeler next season? “There was clearly a connection there,” Levy says. “Karen has some unhappiness that is brewing. I think that makes her vulnerable to all kinds of things in season three.” Perhaps those new “forces of evil” that Levy referred to earlier?

One thing still TBD is the future of Paul Reiser’s Dr. Owens, who managed to survive the chaos that engulfed Hawkins Lab at the end of season two. Levy says they’re “not commenting” on Reiser’s possible return, mainly because “I don’t have a clear cut answer for you yet.” In other words, stay tuned.

Here's When To Share Relationship Details With Your BBFs

Do you stay with someone who’s totally great…but not so great in bed? Is it smart to disclose your weird hobby on a first date? How prepared should you really be for a booty call? We hit our favorite podcast hosts with these and more of our most personal Q’s. (After all, we listen to their shows for hours on end and already think of them as BFFs. That’s normal, right?!) Everyone from Dan Savage of Savage Lovecast (a wildly entertaining relationship Q&A show) to Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff of My Favorite Murder (which revels in true crime) got back to us with their best lessons in Glamour’s December 2017 issue—you’ll want to tune in.

But first, online exclusively, Aminatou Sow and Ann Friedman, real-life BFFs and hosts of Call Your Girlfriend (a podcast in which they give each other a ring to talk all the things that you’d share with your person) are here with their love advice:

Aminatou (Amina) Sow: Our advice? Tell your close friends about both the good and the bad of your romantic relationships, so you don’t turn your love interest into a monster or a hero.

Ann Friedman: Which isn’t to say you should take out a press release to everyone you’ve ever met. Your extended friend group doesn’t always deserve to be completely in the know, but with best friends it’s important to be close to hundred percent honest.

Don’t turn your love interest into a monster or a hero

Amina: Sharing only half the picture it isn’t healthy for those friendships. If you only vent about your boyfriend, your friends won’t like him, and if you only disclose the good things or always project a sunny outlook, when your relationship is in a tough spot your friends won’t be able to respond appropriately.

Ann: Don’t do that Instagram-fake-life-stuff. I’ve been guilty of selective detail sharing about a relationship, and I think it’s because there was something I didn’t want to admit to myself. If you’re running a shadow PR campaign for your relationship, you probably aren’t being honest with yourself either. Your close friends want the best for you, but if you don’t give them the full picture, they can’t be as good of a friend as they probably want to be.

Amina: Some of not wanting to confront something has to do with shame and avoidance. But you don’t have to deal with those pressures with a best friend—they’re supposed to be the person you’re the most transparent with.

If you’re running a shadow PR campaign for your relationship, you probably aren’t being honest with yourself either.

Ann: We’re not saying it’s easy; it can be pretty hard figuring out what to share with your friends. Personally, I know it’s time to check in with my friends is if I’m writing about a relationship issue a lot in my journal and not talking about it with them.

Amina: I agree with the journal for sure. And if you don’t know how to say something, the phone can provide a safe distance, which might make the conversation easier. In other words: Call your girlfriends.

Ann: Who would’ve thought?
