Gina Rodriguez Just Confirmed She's Engaged to Joe LoCicero


It’s official, people: Gina Rodriguez is engaged.

The Jane the Virgin actress confirmed to Us Weekly on Tuesday (August 7) that she and actor Joe LoCicero are planning to tie the knot. “I have a very, very special man in my life. I am engaged. You’re the first people that I’ve told,” Rodriguez told the magazine. “It’s wonderful blessings like that, that make me realize that if I have an opportunity to help someone else, I want to.”

She continued, “I am marrying a feminist. I am marrying a man that is incredible and loving and understanding and kind and patient. I’m marrying a really incredible human being. That what it is. I met a human that like, knows he’s a human.”

Us Weekly first reported on July 30 that Rodriguez and LoCicero are engaged; however, neither of them has said anything until now. Rumors of their engagement sparked, though, last month when Rodriguez uploaded a photo of herself rocking what looked like a diamond ring on that finger. The same ring is on display in the photo, below:

Rodriguez and LoCicero met on the set of Jane the Virgin. “He thought I was being nice to him because I am nice to everyone that comes on the show,” she said in May 2017 on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “So he thought I was just being super sweet to him and I thought he was just being sweet on me because I’m the lead.” Their relationship bloomed six months after that, however, when they bumped into each other at the gym.

Congrats, you two!

'Riverdale' Fans Think Lili Reinhart Just Confirmed She and Cole Sprouse Are Dating


Riverdale co-stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have a relationship as mysterious as their show’s twists and turns—and while it’s not for us to ask them to label it, rumors have swirled around them for months. Recently, they shared experienced July’s magical blood moon together. And a few months ago, they attended the Met Gala together, a debut fans interpreted as an indication of certain couple-status. Still, neither has spoken publicly about their personal life.

Until, as many think, Friday, when Reinhart posted an Instagram of Sprouse that involved the words “my love.”

“It seems as if the world would still be a stranger to me, if not for you. I’m so thankful that our paths intertwined to form this beautiful adventure~ Happy birthday, my love,” Reinhart captioned a picture of Sprouse in a gorgeous location.

Fans promptly freaked out. A selection of comments includes:

  • “can i like a photo 1000x bc wow. i cry. “my love” ?❤️”

  • “the whole riverdale fandom has officially died bc there [sic] dreams came true and cole and lili are an actual thing which we always knew was gonna happen??”

The couple’s Riverdale co-stars also chimed in, with Madelaine Petsch writing “F U C K this is cute” (fair) and Vanessa Morgan writing, “?❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️i love you guys”

Whispers that the on-and-off screen couple were together IRL began last summer with a spate of furtive hand-holding that lasted well into September, sparking some responses from Sprouse to questions about he and Reinhart’s status that only added fuel to the fire. In November, Sprouse said it was “sexier” to keep relationships private—shortly after Reinhart started wearing his clothes in public. Then, in January, the two took a getaway to Hawaii together. complete with some PDA.

Reinhart also posted a funny tweet to mark Sprouse’s birthday: “Happy birthday to the princess, and also to Meghan Markle.”

One day, perhaps we’ll get confirmation—this isn’t an explicit one—but until then, these two might just have an amazing thing going.

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber Just Confirmed They're Engaged


Well, the rumors are true: Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber really are engaged. Reports surfaced over the weekend that Bieber proposed to Baldwin while in the Bahamas; soon after, his father maybe-kinda confirmed the news with an Instagram post telling his son that he’s “proud” and “excited for the next chapter.” But no need to second guess now because Bieber and Baldwin have just confirmed themselves.

Baldwin kept it simple with a tweet, writing, “Not sure what I did in life to deserve such happiness but I am so utterly grateful to God for giving me such an incredible person to share my life with! No words could ever express my gratitude.”

Bieber, meanwhile, posted a cute photo of the two snuggling on Instagram with a long, gushing caption about their relationship.

“Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast,” the singer wrote on Instagram today (July 9). “Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.”

“My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first,” he continued. “You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet!. It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same!!!”

He also commented on the timing of the proposal, writing, “Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it’s true GOOGLE IT! Isn’t that nuts? By the way I didn’t plan that, anyways My goodness does feel good to have our future secured! WERE GONNA VE BETTER AT 70 BABY HERE WE GO! ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains FAVOR from the Lord!’ This is the year of favor!!!!”

Bieber may not have planned for this proposal to be on a day of “spiritual perfection,” but he did predict their marriage two years ago: Back in 2016, the singer told GQ that he wanted their relationship to be pure. “I don’t want to put anyone in a position where they feel like I’m only theirs, only to be hurt in the end,” he told the magazine. “Right now in my life, I don’t want to be held down by anything. … I don’t want to feel like the girl I love is an added responsibility. I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. Cardi B Just Confirmed She and Offset Secretly Married Last Year


After Offset called Cardi B his “wife” last night at the 2018 BET Awards, rumors started swirling the two were already married. And it turns out that’s the case: Cardi B took to Twitter on Monday (June 25) to confirm she and Offset have already tied the knot.

That’s not the only surprise, though. It turns out Cardi B and the Migos rapper secretly married in September—one month before they publicly got engaged. If you recall, Offset dropped down to one knee on stage in October during a Philadelphia concert and popped the question to Cardi B. Granted, you can’t audibly hear him say, “Will you marry me?” to Cardi, but the implication was clear: This was a proposal—or so we thought. Now, it appears all of that was for show.

Cardi B clarifies this in the note she wrote to fans today. Her statement suggests that she and Offset spontaneously decided to marry, so it’s possible he didn’t have time to buy a ring. October’s stunt might’ve just been a retroactive proposal.

“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments,” Cardi B wrote on Twitter via her Notes app. “Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do, but we was so in love, we didn’t want to lose each other.”

She went on to say that, “One morning in September, we woke up and decided to get married. We found someone to marry us, and she did. Just the two of us and my cousin. I said, ‘I do,’ with no dress, no make-up, and no ring! I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me [to] have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!”

Cardi B confirmed in April that she and Offset are expecting their first child; ever since, some people have been shaming the rapper for having a child before marriage. This statement should hopefully put an end to that, though it shouldn’t have even been an issue in the first place. Cardi B thinks it will: “Well now since you lil nosey fucks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock,” she wrote.

Pete Davidson Just Confirmed His Engagement to Ariana Grande


Well, it’s official: Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are actually engaged. OK, so we’ve all known about this for a few days now, but neither has commented on it—until now. On Wednesday night (June 20), Davidson told Jimmy Fallon he and Grande took the first step toward tying the knot. All the people psychoanalyzing Grande’s ring or her recent trips to Disneyland and furniture stores can calm down. This is the real, 0-to-100 deal.

“You didn’t have to get engaged to Ariana Grande to come on our show,” Fallon told Davidson last night on The Tonight Show.

“But I did. though,” Davidson said, grinning ear to ear as the audience cheered loudly. “I feel like I won a contest,” he added. “[It’s] so sick.”

Fallon then asked Davidson how he’s feeling about all this, to which he simply replied, “It’s fucking lit, Jimmy.”

“It’s so funny to walk down the street because dudes are walking by,” Davidson continued, adding that men tip their hats when they walk past him. “Did you see that Derek Jeter commercial? He’s retiring and everybody tips their hat.”

Prior to this interview, Davidson and Grande had hinted at their engagement on social media. The “No Tears Left to Cry” singer liked a series of social media posts from fans congratulating her on the news. Meanwhile, Davidson posted a photo of himself and Grande cuddling with the caption, “u know what you’d dream it be like ? it’s better than that.”

Pippa Middleton Just Confirmed She's Pregnant With Her First Child


Amid much speculation, Pippa Middleton finally confirmed that she and husband James Matthews are expecting their first child. Middleton announced the news in her recurring fitness column for Waitrose Weekend, a weekly magazine published by the British supermarket chain.

The article, titled “Exercising during pregnancy,” details Middleton’s fitness journey and the ways in which she’s adjusted her exercise regimen for her first trimester.

“When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant,” she wrote, confirming the news, “I realized I needed to adjust my normal 4 to 5 day a week routine and find a way of continuing my exercise safely throughout the three trimesters.” She continued by saying that although she’s read “loads” of content on how to safely work out during pregnancy, she has ultimately been “disappointed by limited technical information on what you can and can’t do.”

Middleton then offered some helpful tips on exercises for women in their first trimester of pregnancy, including lunges and squats.

“I’ve noticed my body change and weight increase,” she wrote about her fitness journey through pregnancy so far, “but through effective exercise and sports I feel that it’s being strengthened to support a healthy pregnancy, birth and recovery.”

Middleton also noted that “this being my first pregnancy, I had so many questions I felt were still unanswered” by the workout options available to pregnant women, but promised to keep the public updated with her findings. “Who knows what the next few weeks have in store,” she wrote to finish the article, “but I look forward to sharing my pregnancy workout experiences with you every month.”

Rumors about Middleton’s pregnancy have been circulating since April, just a few days before her sister Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince Louis. However, this is the first public confirmation that the couple has a new addition on the way. We’re looking forward to many more updates, fitness-related or otherwise, to come over the next few months.
